When I decided I'd go to the mountains and spend a few days there waiting for New Year, all I had in my mind was good company, relax, delicious meals and sleeping (finally) for 8 hours no stop. Anyway, whilst I was packing my luggage, I thought I wouldn't just need my UGG, wool pants and large sweaters, so I made room for a few dresses I still had no time to wear for the first time !. Oh yes ! It's the end of the Year and it's time for balance sheets...and my money is all where I can see it, in my wardrobe and shoes closet, so I thought I'd title this post "Broke but Chic Mountain" as a funny homage to a famous movie ;-).
One of the dresses still with the price tag on, just waiting for me to take it out is this one you see, from Paule Ka, very warm and very bon ton style ! It goes perfectly with those shoes from Fabi and with my Bvlgari necklace from BZero serie, the amazing present I got on Christmas from my beloved hubby ! It matches my ring perfectly !.
Quando ho deciso che sarei andata in montagna a trascorrere qualche giorno aspettando il nuovo anno, avevo in mente solo la buona compagnia, il relax, pasti deliziosi e dormite di otto ore continuative (finalmente). Comunque, mentre preparavo i bagagli, ho realizzato che non avevo solo bisogno dei miei UGG, di pantaloni di lana e di larghe e pesanti maglie, così ho fatto spazio ad alcuni vestiti che non avevo ancora avuto il tempo di indossare ! Eh già...a fine anno si fanno i bilanci e di sicuro i miei soldi sono tutti dove li posso vedere, ovvero nel mio armadio, per cui ho deciso di chiamare questo post "Broke but chic Mountain", ovvero al verde ma chic, giocando sul titolo di un film ben noto ;-).
Uno degli abiti ancora con il cartellino che aspettavo di indossare è l'abito che vedete, di Paule Ka, molto caldo e in stile bon ton ! Trovo si abbini bene a queste scarpe di Fabi ed alla deliziosa collana di Bvlgari della serie BZero che mi ha regalato il mio adorato maritino per Natale :-) E' perfetta insieme all'anello della stessa serie !.

I hope you are enjoying this time of the year, loads of people dread it cause it's like if on New Year's eve in order to be cool you must have so much fun, more than you could in any other nights of the year. I personally think the only important thing is to spend it with people you really trust and care for, friends, loved ones or just family, without setting your expectations too high. I mean, sometimes even a normal day can turn out to be so much fun and we should all try to make the most of each day, actually ;-). What do you think about New Year's eve ? How are you going to spend it ?.
I am used to living by the sea so when I go to the mountains I am as happy as a little kid and I will surely try to bottle up the peace and relax of these days for when I will have to be back to work - I know I will need it ! I was just expecting more snow but the place is just perfect - beautiful views, lovely room, great meals and full wifi connection (LOL), I will show you more of it in my next posts, so... stay tuned !.
Spero che voi stiate trascorrendo al meglio questo periodo dell'anno che molti temono perché pare che a Capodanno per essere "cool" occorra divertirsi più che durante il resto dell'anno e debba essere tutto speciale. Personalmente credo che il modo migliore per trascorrerlo sia con persone di cui vi fidiate davvero e con le quali vi sia vero affetto, che siano amici, fidanzati/e o semplicemente familiari, senza avere aspettative eccessive. Spesso anche un giorno assolutamente ordinario può diventare speciale, inoltre sta a noi cercare di trarre sempre il meglio da ogni giornata ;-). Che ne pensate voi del Capodanno ? Come lo trascorrerete ?.
Io sono sono abituata a vivere vicino al mare, per cui quando sono in montagna divento contenta come una bambina e cercherò di immagazzinare quanta più pace e tranquillità possibili per conservarne per quando serviranno - una volta tornata al lavoro - ne avrò bisogno !. Mi aspettavo solo più neve ma il posto è perfetto...bella vista, camera adorabile, ottimi pasti e...connessione wifi veloce e funzionante (LOL), vi mostrerò di più nei prossimi post, per cui...restate sintonizzati !.
