Keep calm and...carry on blogging !

Keep calm and carry on is one of my fave quotes, I even have a big framed poster with this famous quote on my entry hall. I have to say this sentence is perfect cause there's much to keep calm now...the weather is so hot yet I have to work for more weeks even tho I wish I could catch a plane and go somewhere exotic !. Add to this that we're changing many things in the flat...we added more rooms and yay, yes, this means a laundry room, a whole room to use as a closet and a bigger and comfier studio room...but to achieve that it takes time, money and a lot of patience and strenght to overcome weeks of dusty rooms and men at work !.
I have a big passion for home decor and home design and the more I spend time on Pinterest, the more I find amazing inspirational pics. Ok, I love bags, shoes and clothes...but I also love well designed furnitures, cozy rooms and...more hangers ! I have so many plans to make things more organized in the house, I will show you ;-).

Keep calm and carry on è una delle mie frasi preferite, ho persino un grande poster incorniciato con questa celebre frase nell'ingresso di casa...devo dire che questo "mantra" si accorda perfettamente con le mie esigenze...devo rimanere calma e sopportare il caldo eccessivo nonostante le ferie lontane quando vorrei solo prendere un aereo e partire ! Aggiungeteci dei grandi cambiamenti nel mio appartamento...abbiamo aggiunto alcune stanze e ciò significa - evviva ! - una lavanderia, una intera stanza da adibire a cabina armadio e uno studio più grande e confortevole...ma, ad oggi, significa tempo, energia, soldi e...sopportare per settimane la polvere, il disordine e gli operai al lavoro !.
Ho una grande passione per la decorazione di interni e l'home design e più tempo trascorro su Pinterest, più trovo foto e ispirazioni. Ok, amo borse, scarpe e vestiti...ma amo anche i mobili, le stanze accoglienti e...avere più appendini ! Ho così tanti progetti per rendere il tutto più organizzato in casa, vi farò vedere ;-).

Teschi, Teschi...Skulls, skulls !!!

Hello everybody ! In this post I wanna tell you about my growing obsession with...skulls ! They seem to be everywhere and I like it, I am sure some of you don't like this trend and I personally know a few people that look at me with weird faces when they see me wearing skull print scarves or a t-shirt with a smiling skull printed on it, instead I like them, maybe they remind me of my afternoons watching "Creep show" on tv !!!. It's funny but when I was a kid I wasn't as scared of horror movies as I am now, LOL !.
Do you like this skull trend ? I think skull prints can be somehow cute and I wanna show you this outfit I chose with a short dress from the brand "My Closet"...if you give a close look you'll see that it's not a tiny floral print...its print is made indeed of tiny skulls ! ;-)

Ciao a tutti ! In questo post voglio parlarvi un po' della mia crescente mania per...i teschi ! Ormai sono dappertutto, di sicuro parecchi odiano questa moda, ci sono un paio di persone che conosco che mi guardano orripilate quando mi vedono indossare sciarpine o t-shirt con la stampa raffigurante un teschio sorridente, invece a me i teschi piacciono, forse mi ricordano i pomeriggi da bambina trascorsi a guardare "Zio Tibia" in tv !!!. E' buffo ma quando ero piccola adoravo i film horror e non avevo la paura che ho invece adesso :-).
A voi piace questo trend ? Io credo che la fantasia a teschi possa essere considerata carina e per darne un esempio vi posto questo outfit che ho costruito intorno ad un abitino di "My closet", se lo guardate da vicino vedrete che la fantasia non è a fiorellini ma...a teschietti ! ;-)
