I remember well that, when I was a kid, my mom used to go shopping in shops dedicated to selling clothes for adult women. Her style has always been pretty simple and sober, "adult" without being too "oldish". Back in time, shops were easily divided into categories, so while it was hard to go wrong, it was also more boring. Nowadays, especially with online shopping, we buy our clothes almost anywhere, and it often happens, when we are queuing to pay, to be surrounded by teens that bought the same items. Fashion is a matter of choices!. Shops like rue21.com, with affordable and trendy clothes, are a big temptation for grown up women that want to keep their style fresh and up to date without looking ridiculous and odd. Of course, heavily printed leggings, mini skirts and crop tops are aimed at teens, but with a few shopping tips a classy woman can fill up her shopping cart in these low cost sanctuaries and create some appropriate looking outfits. Mi ricordo bene di quando, da piccola, accompagnavo mia madre a fare shopping in negozi cosiddetti "da donna adulta". Il suo stile è sempre stato semplice e sobrio, da donna "cresciuta" senza risultare troppo "vecchio". I negozi come rue21, che vendono abbigliamento a prezzi convenienti ed alla moda, sono una vera tentazione anche per le donne adulte che vogliano mantenere uno stile fresco ed aggiornato alle tendenze senza, però, sembrare ridicole e strane. Ovviamente, i leggings riccamente stampati, le super minigonne ed i crop top sono più adatti alle teen, ma con qualche accorgimento anche una donna di classe può riempire il carrello virtuale in questi templi del low cost e creare dei look appropriati.
Nel set che ho creato sopra, ad esempio, entrambe le gonne e le collane sono state prese su rue21, un negozio americano trendy e molto conveniente; trovate un look da teen ager sulla sinistra e ad un look più femminile e classico da donna sulla destra.
