I love New York !

Dear readers, I am blogging from the city of my dreams...New York !. This is what I see right now from the windows of my room:

new york skyline, luna di miele fashion and cookies

Not too long ago, I have been asked by Alice at the Nuok website - useful and well done website made from young italian people living in NY - about my idea of clothing in New York. I didn't reply immediately cause I was too busy with the last organization of my wedding. Anyway, I hadn't been here yet and all I knew was what I could see and learn from movies and tv series. I had been asked what kind of clothing item would represent New York according to me...well, I think it's impossible to "fit" NY in one item only...from what I am learning, NY is the shirt of the office workers from Midtown, the little black dress worn by Upper East Siders in the evening...it's the uniform of all the workers working hard for the money and yet smiling and being so kind in the shop and offices...it's a pair of denim jeans worn from people of different cultures, different social conditions...but my choice is the outfit I worn for a walk thru the Greenwich Village, a pair of floral flare pants with wedges, cause in NY you can wear anything you want, cause New York rapresents the freedom to be ourselves and to feel a bit special even if you're surrounded by millions of other people. More than anything, New York is like a second skin that gets attached to you and doesn't go away anymore. I can say I fell totally in love with this town and I am going to savour all the remaining days of this incredible holiday. Thank you New York city !.

Grazie New York city !.
