I have been wearing them often with jeans and also with maxi skirts. There are days when I especially enjoy a feminine, ladylike outfit, just like the one I am presenting you today on this fashion blog, the first one for February. This beautiful midi dress with a basque, in a wonderful shade of royal blue, is from the young, innovative brand Isabel Garcia, and it made me feel a bit like the main carachter in one of those old 40s movies, sexy, elegant and misterious. I have fallen in love with this brand and its elegant, modern, original clothes, that follow the principle "from catwalks to wardrobe". A dress like this one, with a timeless tailored silhouette and a perfect cut, is the perfect expression of what the Creative Director of the brand, Elliott James Frieze, wanted to achieve when he told about expressing the femininity in a grown-up, sophisticated way. I decided to wear this wonderful dress with a furry jacket in a darker shade of blue, stiletto pumps and my brand new Rebecca Minkoff mini MAC clutch in leopard print.

Ci sono giorni in cui tutto ciò di cui ho bisogno è un outfit femminile, ladylike, come quello che vi presento oggi, il primo look di Febbraio su questo fashion blog. Questo bellissimo abito midi con baschina, in una meravigliosa tonalità di blu elettrico, è del brand giovane ed innovativo Isabel Garcia, e mi ha fatta sentire un po' come la protagonista di un vecchio film anni '40, sexy, elegante e misteriosa. Mi sono innamorata subito di questo brand e dei suoi capi eleganti, moderni, originali, che seguono il principio "dalle passerelle al guardaroba". Un abito come questo, dalla silhouette senza tempo e dal taglio perfetto, è la diretta espressione di ciò che il Direttore Creativo del brand, Elliott James Frieze, voleva ottenere, ovvero l'emanazione della femminilità in un modo adulto e sofisticato. Ho deciso di abbinare questo abito fantastico ad un pellicciotto corto in una tonalità più scura di blu, pumps dal tacco a spillo e la mia nuova clutch mini MAC Rebecca Minkoff in pelle a stampa leopardata.

Faux leather and fur, True blue

In days like today, when the sun has been shining, I always manage to have a walk on the seaside. I've always been in love with the sea, since my early years, I am totally fascinated by the shades of blue that surround me when I go there, I feel so relaxed.

It took me some more time to get fond of blue colored clothes, but I am now a great fan of this color, that I love to wear in its different shades, just like I do in this almost all blue outfit, featuring a faux leather midi skirt and my faux fur jacket. Leather and fur are faux, but the blu is really...true !.

In giornate come queste, con il sole che splende, cerco sempre di fare una passeggiata in riva al mare, di cui sono perdutamente innamorata da sempre. Il blu del mare e del cielo mi fanno stare bene, mi rilassano, fin da quando ero una bambina. Mi ci è voluto più tempo per innamorarmi del blu come colore di capi da indossare, ma ne sono adesso una grande fan e amo portarlo nelle sue svariate sfumature, proprio come faccio in questo outfit quasi tutto blu come la mia gonna midi in ecopelle e l'eco-pellicciotto. La pelle e la pelliccia sono false, ma il blu è tutto...vero !.
