Most of you know that I love Country line dance. It's something that makes me forget all my problems and that is so much fun, plus I love country music. I could have never imagined I would love this as much as I do, I am a City girl and now that I have unleashed the Country girl in me I feel miss dancing when I can't do it. This summer I have been travelling to different music festivals, met a lot of new people and when it comes that weekend without dancing, I feel a bit weird! I am still learning so many choreos and steps and I feel I am constantly improving my dancing skills. I have a long road to go and I am enjoying my journey!

Come molti di voi sanno, amo ballare la Country line dance. E' un qualcosa che mi fa dimenticare tutti i problemi e che mi diverte molto, inoltre adoro la musica country. Non avrei mai immaginato mi potesse prendere così, sono una ragazza di città e ora che ho liberato la Country girl che è in me mi manca troppo ballare quando non riesco a farlo. Questa estate ho girato per diversi festival musicali, incontrato tante nuove persone e quando arriva un weekend senza ballare mi sento un po' strana! Sto ancora imparando molte nuove coreografie e passi e sento di star migliorando continuamente la mia bravura come ballerina. Ne ho di strada da fare, e mi sto godendo il viaggio!

Country line dancing at the Valsassina Country Festival is a good excuse to discuss what to wear when line dancing in general. Very often, dancers do wear custom t-shirts from their dance schools, and I sometimes do it but not all the time, because I am not the uniform kind of person, I love to change and build my outfits way too much. In this case I opted for a cotton frilled red dress, very fresh and light and also eye catching. Make sure your dress or skirt is frilled and that it grants you easy movements: if the skirt is shorter on the front it's the best! I love this dress so much I also have it in black. My beautiful friends Francesca and Romina were wearing some top country girl outfits: bootcut jeans, buckled belts and western style blouses, as well as cowgirl hats and unmissable boots.

Cosa indossare per la Country line dance

Country line dancing al Valsassina Country Festival è un'ottima scusa per parlare di cosa indossare per la line dance in generale. Molto spesso, i ballerini portano le magliette personalizzate col logo della loro scuola di ballo, io lo faccio ogni tanto ma non sempre perché non sono tipo da uniforme, mi piace troppo cambiare i miei outfit e costruirne di nuovi. In questo caso ho voluto optare per un vestito rosso arricciato in cotone, molto fresco e leggero oltre che particolare. Assicuratevi che il vostro abito o la vostra gonna abbiano delle balze e che vi garantiscano facilità di movimenti: se la gonna è più corta sul davanti è meglio! Mi piace tanto questo abito, così tanto da averlo preso anche in nero. Le mie bellissime amiche  Francesca e Romina indossano degli outfit da top country girls: jeans bootcut, cinture con fibbia e bluse stile western, oltre che cappelli da cowgirl e gli immancabili stivali.
