What to wear when it's cold ? Jackets, coats and the right accessories are important to look elegant anyway and to keep warm ! Read my tips 

Readers of fashion blogs must often ask themselves what do most bloggers wear when winter hits us in the bones. What to wear when it's cold and when, in spite of a cool outfit underneath our outerwear, we risk to look all bundled up and to have the same grace of a penguin ?. Winter is going away soon, but I thought about sharing my personal tips to look well put together even when you have cold feet, your bones crack and all you want is staying in, drinking a cup of hot chocolate !. Most of bloggers do wear heavy jackets, it's only we take them off to show you our outfits, and we put our health to risk every single time ! Wearing the right accessories is enough to keep warm and look elegant. This post is dedicated to all the bloggers that go out with bare feet and spring clothes when it's cold only to look stylish...your sacrifice won't be forgotten ! LOL !

Cosa indossare quando fa freddo ? Giacche, cappotti e gli accessori giusti sono importanti per avere un aspetto elegante comunque e tenersi al caldo ! Leggete i miei trucchi

I lettori dei fashion blog si devono chiedere spesso cosa indossino la maggior parte delle blogger quando l'inverno si fa sentire. Cosa indossare quando fa freddo e quando, nonostante un outfit molto cool sotto i nostri capi spalla, rischiamo di sembrare super infagottate e di avere la stessa grazia di un pinguino ? L'inverno ci lascerà presto, ma ho pensato di condividere con voi le mie personali regole per avere un aspetto decente anche quando i vostri piedi gelano, le ossa scricchiolano e tutto ciò che vorreste è starvene al calduccio sorseggiando cioccolata calda !. La maggior parte delle blogger indossano capi pesanti, è solo che li togliamo per potervi mostrare i nostri outfit, mettendo la nostra salute a rischio ogni singola volta !. Basta indossare gli accessori giusti per stare calde e avere un aspetto elegante. Questo post è dedicato a tutte le blogger che escono a gambe nude e abiti primaverili quando fa freddo solo per sembrare stilose...il vostro sacrificio non sarà dimenticato ! LOL !

What to wear when it's cold

The question is very simple: what do you wear when it's really cold ?. It's not a secret to anyone that I suffer the cold weather, and I am not the kind of person that will go out with bare legs only to look cool or just grab a cardigan and that's all, I love to look cool but I hate feeling sick afterwards ! I need to have winter clothes. 

I already know a coat is the most elegant solution when it comes to outerwear, and I've been giving the spotlight to my coats, but I don't say no to my duvet jackets, especially when they are high quality pieces, just like this one I am wearing in these pics, it's from Moncler, one of my favorite brands when it comes to winter jackets.

Sure, we can feel chic in a duvet jacket...or, even better, we can feel chic and warm ! :-)

La domanda è semplicissima: cosa indossate quando fa davvero freddo ? Non è un segreto per nessuno che io soffro il freddo, non sono certo il tipo di persona che esce senza calze solo per sembrare più cool, o che aggiunge un cardigan e sente già caldo, ovviamente mi piace avere un bell'aspetto ma odio raffreddarmi ! Ho davvero bisogno di avere abiti invernali.

So bene che un cappotto rappresenta la soluzione più elegante quando si tratta di capi spalla, e sul blog ho dato spazio ai miei cappotti, ma non dico di no ai piumini, esclusivamente se di alta qualità, come questo che indosso in queste foto, di Moncler, uno dei miei brand preferiti quando si tratta di giacconi invernali.

Certo che possiamo sentirci chic in un piumino...o, ancora meglio, possiamo sentirci chic e calde ! :-)

A cold weather outfit: I need my UGG boots !

I am a very chilly person and when I see some other bloggers wearing t-shirts and having bare legs in the snow, I know I couldn't make it. I know that we all expect a fashion blogger to be immune from low temperatures and catching colds...but it's not always the case, LOL !. I hate suffering from the cold weather, and this is also a good excuse to buy winter clothing and accessories ;-). In these pics I was in beautiful Kastelbell-Tschars and I was wearing a very comfortable and warm outfit !. I think it's my first post wearing UGG boots, in spite of me having bought them in many colors thru the years: beige, brown, black, grey and these ones, a sort of greyish green, the latest pair. I am obviously pro Ugg boots, especially for comfy/casual outfits, and when it's cold outside. What about you ?.

Sono una persona molto freddolosa e quando mi capita di vedere altre blogger che indossano t-shirt leggere e vanno a gambe nude nella neve, so che io non ce la potrei fare !. So che da una fashion blogger ci si aspetta la massima resistenza alle basse temperature...ma non sempre è così ! :-).
Il fatto che io detesti soffrire il freddo è, comunque, una ottima scusa per comprare molti capi e accessori prettamente invernali ;-). In queste foto, scattate nella bella Castelbello-Ciardes, indossavo un outfit casual molto caldo !. Credo sia il primo outfit che posto con gli UGG boots, nonostante io ne abbia collezionati di diversi colori nel corso degli anni: beige, marroni, neri, grigi e questi, una sorta di verde grigiastro, gli ultimi acquistati. Sono decisamente pro Ugg boots, specialmente per outfit casual e comodi e quando fa freddo. Che mi dite di voi ?.

A hat with ear flaps is perfect to protect from chilly wind ! The one you see here is from Subdued. The burgundy gloves are from Numph. The wool sweater is very warm and is from Aniye By. I love wool sweaters and I pay a lot of attention to the composition tags when I go for winter shopping !. The bag is my beloved Givenchy Pandora that you are learning to see often...you were warned ! ;).

Un cappello con copriorecchie è quello che ci vuole per proteggersi dal vento freddo ! Quello che indosso in queste foto è di Subdued. I guanti burgundy sono di Numph. Il pullover di lana è caldissimo e soffice ed è di Aniye By, adoro le maglie in pura lana e sono sempre molto attenta a leggere le etichette quando faccio acquisti invernali. La borsa è la mia adorata Givenchy Pandora che state ormai vedendo spesso...vi avevo avvertiti !.

When it comes to winter jacket, in spite of my love for coats, I NEED a duvet coat to keep warmer. My fave brand is Moncler, I am a loyal customer, you can see the one I bought from this 2012-2013 season in the last pic, model name is Nantesfur.
I am a lover of high heels, but I have to confess my feet get happy when it's very cold, just because they can spend a bit of time inside a comfy pair of UGGs !.

Ovviamente, portavo anche una giacca. Quando si tratta di giacconi invernali, sebbene io adori i cappotti, ho bisogno di indossare un piumino per affrontare le giornate molto fredde, e i miei preferiti sono quelli di Moncler di cui sono una fedele cliente. Potete vedere il mio nell'ultima foto, è della collezione di quest'anno, modello Nantesfur.
Sono una amante dei tacchi, ma devo confessare che i miei piedi sono felicissimi quando fa molto freddo e possono trascorrere un po' di tempo dentro un comodo paio di UGG !.

Welcome 2012 !

It's the first day of 2012 and I couldn't help but making a little post to wish all of you a fantastic new year, full with anything you desire !.
I am still enjoying the few days left of my holidays on the mountains, we finally had snow and I was so excited, I had to leave the comfort of my room and go out immediately ! I finally had the chance to wear my new Moncler jacket, it's so comfy ! I am a such a Moncler fan and I own quite a few jackets from this brand, they're very warm and good quality.

E' il primo giorno del 2012 e non potevo non fare un piccolo post per augurare a tutti voi un fantastico anno nuovo, pieno di tutto ciò che desiderate !.
Io mi sto ancora godendo i pochi giorni che restano della mia vacanza in montagna, finalmente ha nevicato e ne sono stata contentissima, ho immediatamente lasciato il comfort della mia camera per andare a fare una passeggiata ! Come potete vedere dalle foto ho finalmente inaugurato il mio nuovo piumino Moncler, è comodissimo ! Sono senza ombra di dubbio una fan di Moncler, ho diverse giacche di questo brand, le trovo super calde e di ottima qualità.

And now, for a control freak like me, here's a little list of new year resolutions...
1. Going back to the gym - this is a must do and I will sign up next week and go 3 times per week
2. Eat more healthy...lately I've been eating too many sweets, fried things and junk food...say bye bye to french fries !!!
3. Trying to catch some sleep before one o'clock am...as I often do...then in the morning I feel so sleepy ! I've been sleeping for much more these days and I can see the results on my face and skin :)
4. Drink more water...I love beer, wine, coke, lemonade...but why don't I feel thirsty enough to drink at least one liter and a half of water daily ?
5. Give up on the people that don't deserve my time and attention and focus on the people that truly care for me...friendship is like love, they both don't work one way...
I would have more resolutions but these ones are enough already, I think ! :) Now I am curious to know your own resolutions for this new year !

E ora, per una persona che ama pianificare come me, non può mancare una piccola lista di propositi per il nuovo anno...
1. Tornare in palestra, devo assolutamente farlo e mi iscriverò di nuovo dalla prossima settimana, cercando di andarci regolarmente tre volte alla settimana
2. Mangiare più sano...ultimamente ho mangiato troppi dolci, cose fritte e junk food...devo dire ciao ciao alle patatine fritte !!!
3. Cercare di prendere sonno prima dell'una di notte, dato che di solito vado a dormire sempre così tardi...poi al mattino sono dolori ! In questi giorni sto dormendo di più e posso vederne i risultati in fatto di viso disteso e pelle più luminosa !
4. Bere più acqua...amo il vino, la birra, la coca cola, limonata...e allora come mai non ho mai abbastanza sete da bere il famoso litro e mezzo di acqua al giorno ?
5. Lasciar perdere le persone che non meritano il mio tempo e attenzione e concentrarmi sulle persone che tengono davvero a me...amicizia e amore sono simili, non funzionano a senso unico...
Avrei ancora tanti propositi ma non voglio esagerare, bastano questi per ora...e i vostri ? Sono curiosa di conoscere se avete dei propositi per l'anno nuovo e quali sono ;)

Ten things I've learned from my fashion blog

Hey guys ! I'd like to share with you ten things - not really serious - I've learned from having a fashion blog. Read on and tell me what you think !.

1) Any corner of your town/the world, even the ugliest one, can be a perfect background to shoot an outfit...just find a tree, a road, an old car or anything that catches your attention
2) You don't have to feel weird if you're wearing sunglasses after the sunset and you're not a Vampire, not really. LOL
3) If you're wearing very clashing colors, you can always tell as an excuse that I you're experimenting with a new color block trend!
4) When pictures don't come out as you would have liked to and you threaten to fire your photographer, take a deep breath and remember it's your fiancé/husband ! LOL
5) You suffer from cold but if you are shooting an outfit you become unsensitive to cold wind and all you can think about is "let's do this quick" (then you get a cold like me, cough cough...;-))
6)Before going out, instead of worrying about getting your car keys with you, you better worry about having charged your camera battery !
7) Your family learns about your new purchases by looking at your outfits on the blog
8) You get indifferent at people staring at you when you're shooting pics in the middle of nowhere
9)Jeffrey Campbell shoes can be worn in the Office ! Even with a severe tailleur ;-)
10)If you need to know something very quickly, forget the phone/sms thing...use twitter ! My twitterfriends rule :-)...by the way, what do you think about following me on Twitter by clicking on the button here below ? ;-)

Ciao a tutti ! Vorrei condividere con voi dieci cose - non necessariamente serie - che ho imparato dall'avere un fashion blog. Leggete e ditemi la vostra !.

1) Qualsiasi angolo della vostra città/del mondo, anche il più brutto, può diventare il perfetto sfondo per foto di outfit...trovate un albero, una strada, una vecchia macchina o qualsiasi cosa possa attirare la vostra attenzione
2) Non dovete sentirvi strani a scattare foto in occhiali da sole al tramonto, sebbene non siate vampiri, LOL
3) Se state indossando colori contrastanti e abbinati male, potete sempre usare la scusa del color block !
4) Quando le foto scattate non escono come le avreste volute e minacciate di licenziare il fotografo, fate un respiro profondo e ricordate che si tratta del vostro fidanzato/vostro marito !
5) Sebbene soffriate il freddo nel momento in cui vi stanno fotografando diventerete insensibili al vento e tutto ciò che riuscirete a pensare è "facciamolo in fretta" ! (E poi finirete per raffreddarvi, come me...cough cough !)
6) Prima di uscire, anziché preoccuparvi di prendere le chiavi dell'auto, preoccupatevi del fatto che la batteria della vostra fotocameria sia carica...
7) La vostra famiglia viene a conoscenza dei vostri ultimi acquisti guardandoli sul blog
8) Diventate indifferenti alle persone che vi fissano mentre vi fate fotografare nel mezzo del nulla
9) Le scarpe di Jeffrey Campbell possono essere adatte all'ufficio ! Anche con un serio tailleur ;-)
10) Se avete bisogno di sapere qualcosa in fretta, dimenticate il telefono/sms...usate Twitter ! I miei twitamici sono eccezionali...anzi, se volete seguitemi su twitter cliccando sul bottone che trovate sotto ;-)
