Hello there, sweetie pies ! How is august treating you so far ? I can't believe this month is already here, time is running fast...and I can't wait to go on holidays ! Anyway, if I can't be totally free, yet...I can always dress as if I already am on holidays ! Today's outfit post is very summery, indeed...orange, green and yellow colors, a floral-tropical print for a comfy mini dress and a touch of white lace on the border and Sangallo lace on a cute little blazer. 

Ciao, dolcezze ! Come procede l'estate ad oggi ? Non riesco a crederci che siamo già arrivati ad agosto, il tempo vola e io non vedo l'ora di andare in vacanza ! Comunque, anche se non riesco ancora ad andare in vacanza...posso sempre vestirmi come se ci fossi già ! Il post outfit di oggi è molto estivo, infatti...arancio, verde e giallo, un mini abito a stampa floreale-tropicale, ed un tocco di pizzo bianco per il bordo e di pizzo Sangallo per un piccolo blazer. 

A touch of rock: Ramones, studs and a see-thru bag

Today's outfit post is featuring a casual look with a sweatshirt, jeans and Converse sneakers, one of my fave looks for sunny days in this slow start of Spring !. In this "rock" inspired outfit I decided to wear my Marc by Marc Jacobs see thru bag I had told you about a while ago for the first time ;-).

Il post di oggi è casual, con felpa, jeans e Converse ai piedi, uno dei look che preferisco per una passeggiata in una giornata di sole in questo lentissimo inizio di Primavera ! Per questo outfit dai toni "rock", ho deciso di inaugurare la mia borsa semi-trasparente di Marc by Marc Jacobs, della quale vi avevo già parlato in un post precedente ;-).

A cold weather outfit: I need my UGG boots !

I am a very chilly person and when I see some other bloggers wearing t-shirts and having bare legs in the snow, I know I couldn't make it. I know that we all expect a fashion blogger to be immune from low temperatures and catching colds...but it's not always the case, LOL !. I hate suffering from the cold weather, and this is also a good excuse to buy winter clothing and accessories ;-). In these pics I was in beautiful Kastelbell-Tschars and I was wearing a very comfortable and warm outfit !. I think it's my first post wearing UGG boots, in spite of me having bought them in many colors thru the years: beige, brown, black, grey and these ones, a sort of greyish green, the latest pair. I am obviously pro Ugg boots, especially for comfy/casual outfits, and when it's cold outside. What about you ?.

Sono una persona molto freddolosa e quando mi capita di vedere altre blogger che indossano t-shirt leggere e vanno a gambe nude nella neve, so che io non ce la potrei fare !. So che da una fashion blogger ci si aspetta la massima resistenza alle basse temperature...ma non sempre è così ! :-).
Il fatto che io detesti soffrire il freddo è, comunque, una ottima scusa per comprare molti capi e accessori prettamente invernali ;-). In queste foto, scattate nella bella Castelbello-Ciardes, indossavo un outfit casual molto caldo !. Credo sia il primo outfit che posto con gli UGG boots, nonostante io ne abbia collezionati di diversi colori nel corso degli anni: beige, marroni, neri, grigi e questi, una sorta di verde grigiastro, gli ultimi acquistati. Sono decisamente pro Ugg boots, specialmente per outfit casual e comodi e quando fa freddo. Che mi dite di voi ?.

A hat with ear flaps is perfect to protect from chilly wind ! The one you see here is from Subdued. The burgundy gloves are from Numph. The wool sweater is very warm and is from Aniye By. I love wool sweaters and I pay a lot of attention to the composition tags when I go for winter shopping !. The bag is my beloved Givenchy Pandora that you are learning to see often...you were warned ! ;).

Un cappello con copriorecchie è quello che ci vuole per proteggersi dal vento freddo ! Quello che indosso in queste foto è di Subdued. I guanti burgundy sono di Numph. Il pullover di lana è caldissimo e soffice ed è di Aniye By, adoro le maglie in pura lana e sono sempre molto attenta a leggere le etichette quando faccio acquisti invernali. La borsa è la mia adorata Givenchy Pandora che state ormai vedendo spesso...vi avevo avvertiti !.

When it comes to winter jacket, in spite of my love for coats, I NEED a duvet coat to keep warmer. My fave brand is Moncler, I am a loyal customer, you can see the one I bought from this 2012-2013 season in the last pic, model name is Nantesfur.
I am a lover of high heels, but I have to confess my feet get happy when it's very cold, just because they can spend a bit of time inside a comfy pair of UGGs !.

Ovviamente, portavo anche una giacca. Quando si tratta di giacconi invernali, sebbene io adori i cappotti, ho bisogno di indossare un piumino per affrontare le giornate molto fredde, e i miei preferiti sono quelli di Moncler di cui sono una fedele cliente. Potete vedere il mio nell'ultima foto, è della collezione di quest'anno, modello Nantesfur.
Sono una amante dei tacchi, ma devo confessare che i miei piedi sono felicissimi quando fa molto freddo e possono trascorrere un po' di tempo dentro un comodo paio di UGG !.

Street style: camouflage feather pants

I've been looking forward to wearing these camouflage feather print pants from Maison Scotch since the first moment I bought them, and I have been wearing them for the first time during my holidays on the mountains. I love this print cause it's a bit different from the usual camouflage print and I have to say I usually love Maison Scotch items ;).
In these pics I am in the lovely town of Brixen - Bressanone, sporting a comfortable look, perfect for a walk in town looking at monuments and...shops !.

Non vedevo l'ora di indossare questi pantaloni a stampa camouflage effetto piume di Maison Scotch dal primo momento che li ho comprati e li ho indossati per la prima volta nella mia vacanza in montagna. Amo questa stampa perché non è la solita stampa mimetica e devo dire che solitamente adoro tutto ciò che è Maison Scotch ;).
In queste foto sono nella adorabile cittadina di Bressanone - Brixen, con un look comodo, perfetto per una passeggiata tra monumenti e...negozi !.

I have decided to wear my new pants with this studded Zara sweater and also matched them with my good old Ash chain sneakers. My black Balenciaga is a loyal companion during my trips because it's so easy to store it in my suitcase and also because it's VERY large !.
These pants are skinny and the fabric is so soft. I will personally wear them also with high heeled pumps for a more sophisticated look, otherwise I think they are perfect with bikers, what do you think ?.
I have prepared a little set inspired by this simple outfit below.

Ho deciso di indossare i miei nuovi pantaloni con questa maglia borchiata di Zara e li ho abbinati con le mie vecchie sneakers con catene di Ash. La mia Balenciaga nera è fedele compagna durante i miei viaggi perché è facile da mettere in valigia e perché è molto capiente !.
Questi pantaloni sono skinny e il tessuto è molto morbido. Personalmente li indosserò anche con scarpe dal tacco alto per un look più sofisticato, altrimenti credo che si abbineranno perfettamente anche a dei bikers, che ne pensate ?.
Ho preparato un set ispirato da questo outfit semplice nell'immagine sottostante.

Since my trips always lead to a new restaurant, let me share with you a little review of the fantastic place we tried in Bressanone - Brixen. This restaurant is called "Finstenwirt" (german) or "Oste Scuro" (in italian) and it's really great ! We had a very romantic lunch in their stube room, with excellent food and wine as well as a cozy atmospheare and a perfect service. Ready for a few pics ? Here they are !.

Siccome le mie gite conducono sempre ad un nuovo ristorante, volevo condividere con voi un posto fantastico provato a Bressanone - Brixen. Il ristorante si chiama "Finstenwirt" (tedesco) o "Oste Scuro" in italiano ed è davvero ottimo ! Abbiamo pranzato romanticamente nella loro stanza "stube", con cibo e vino ottimi oltre ad una atmosfera accogliente ed ottimo servizio. Pronti per un po' di foto ? Eccole !.

Camp Beverly Hills

Today has been my last day of work before my one week and a half break. Let's celebrate it with a casual outfit that makes me dream about sunny California !.
In these pics I am wearing a canary yellow t-shirt from Camp Beverly Hills, the first classic American sportswear brand born in 1977 in Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills.
Their original logo has been re-launched for 2012 and it's well known in the USA,
Camp Beverly Hills tees were collected and worn by a young Drew Barrymore, Barbara Streisand at the height of her fame, Jane Fonda at her legendary fitness studio and scores of other stars. I am very demanding with quality when it comes to sportswear clothes and I have fallen in love with this brand also for the quality !.

Oggi è stato il mio ultimo giorno di ufficio prima di una pausa di una settimana e mezzo. Per l'occasione, ecco un outfit casual che mi fa sognare la soleggiata California !.
In queste foto indosso una t-shirt giallo canarino di Camp Beverly Hills, la prima marca di abbigliamento sportivo americano, nata nel 1977 a Rodeo Drive a Beverly Hills.
Il logo originale è stato riproposto per il 2012 ed è molto conosciuto negli USA. I am wearing jeans from Latinò, yellow pumps and my Juicy Couture backpack bag bought in NY. I am also sporting a Zara beetles necklace which is weird to me because I am really insects phobic and I have to confess even tho I love it, it felt a bit weird to wear that around my neck, LOL !.

Ho al collo una collana di Zara con ciondoli a forma di scarafaggio il che è strano per una insettofobica come me...devo confessare che sebbene mi piaccia, mi ha fatto uno strano effetto metterla intorno al collo, LOL !.

Now I am off to keep working on the flat, as many of you know we're in the middle of a big remodeling...I am blogging from another room right now and it's very nice, we even put a big New York canvas on the wall, I am gonna show you some pics soon when it's all done ! I have a massive DVD collection and now the couch seems more inviting than ever...even tho I enjoy going out so much that I don't know when I am finally gonna rest ;-).

Sopra potete vedere un set che ho creato per questo outfit. Ora vado a continuare i miei lavori in casa, come molti di voi sanno siamo alle prese con una grande ristrutturazione...ora sto "bloggando" da una stanza diversa e sta venendo molto bene, abbiamo anche un enorme canvas rappresentante New York sul muro, vi farò vedere presto qualche foto non appena tutto pronto ! Ho una grande collezione di DVD e ora il divano sembra ancora più invitante...anche se mi piace così tanto uscire che non so quando riuscirò ad approfittarne ;-).

Like a lemon

I am so happy to have a few days off from work ! I was really needing it ! I am in the mood for relaxing and enjoying myself, and it's also a perfect timing for a colorful and casual outfit that reminds me of a lemon !. I mixed yellow and green, indeed. Also, it shows that I can't wait to spend a few days on the Amalfi coast, reign of lemon trees, sun and sea !. The only nightmare for me is packing...I would just bring my closet with me and picking up clothes, bags and shoes is always something I don't look forward to !.

Sono così contenta di avere qualche giorno di ferie ! Ne avevo proprio bisogno ! Sono dell'umore giusto per rilassarmi e divertirmi ed è anche il momento perfetto per un outfit molto colorato e casual che mi ricorda i colori del limone ! Infatti, ho mixato giallo e verde, segno anche di quanto io sia impaziente di trascorrere qualche giorno sulla costiera amalfitana, regno degli alberi di limone, del sole e del mare !. L'unico incubo per me è preparare la valigia...mi porterei dietro tutto e dover scegliere abiti, scarpe e borse è sempre qualcosa che cerco di rimandare il più possibile !.

I was wearing a floral Balenciaga T's t-shirt and paired it with green pants from Stradivarius. Shoes were very comfy, yellow sneakers from Ash, similar to leather ones I have in black.
I matched everything with Marc Jacobs "Love Bird" leather tote, that surely doesn't go unnoticed !. I can fit anything in this bag and I love the padlock and mini studs details on the handles and sides - when I am gonna get tired of it I know I will use it as a travel bag and will do an excellent job !.

Ho indossato una t-shirt a stampa floreale di Balenciaga T's, abbinata a pantaloni verdi presi da Stradivarius. Le scarpe sono molto comode, sneakers gialle di Ash, simili a quelle che ho in pelle nera.
Ho scelto di indossare una tote molto spaziosa e colorata, la "Love Bird" in pelle di Marc Jacobs che sicuramente non passa inosservata !. In questa borsa entra veramente di tutto e mi piacciono i dettagli del lucchetto e le mini borchie sui manici e sui lati - quando me ne sarò stancata la riciclerò come borsa da viaggio e so che farà un ottimo lavoro !.

Tight floral dress

Sometimes it happens to find a dress that looks like it's worth much ore than the actual price - I think it's the case with this tight floral dress I bought at H&M. I am in love with it, the cut, the print, the fabric !.
Such a dress is perfect to spend an evening outside now that Summer is officially here ! I am still working during the week and I am devoting much of my free time to going out and chilling on the beach, of course without neglecting my blog too much...A blog needs to be cared for and social life is important, too ! Finding a balance for them both is sometimes a blogger's challenge ;-)

A volte capita di trovare un abito che sembra valere molto di più del prezzo pagato, è il caso di questo abitino stretto a stampa floreale di H&M ! Lo adoro, il taglio, la vestibilità, i colori, la stoffa !.
Un capo del genere è perfetto per trascorrere una serata fuori, ora che l'estate è arrivata ufficialmente ! Sto ancora lavorando durante la settimana e sto dedicando gran parte del mio tempo libero alle uscite e al relax in spiaggia, senza trascurare troppo il blog, che ha sicuramente bisogno di attenzioni così come la vita sociale ! Bilanciare le due cose è, a volte, una sfida ;-)

I accessorized the dress with a necklace I had already showed you a while ago and decided to wear my Fornarina pumps, they're incredibly comfortable as well as very cute with this lace effect and coral color. I added even more color with the Marc by Marc Jacobs bag !.

Ho accessoriato l'abito con una collana che avevate già visto e ho deciso di abbinare queste open toes di Fornarina, sono comodissime e anche molto carine con un effetto pizzo e color corallo. Ho aggiunto ancora più colore con la borsa di Marc by Marc Jacobs !.

Since I was going to have a busy evening and night (dinner, movies, going out and going back home very late), I decided to bring a jacket with me, a perfect excuse to wear my new motorcycle studded linen jacket from Zara !. I saw it at Zara and had to buy it - they also had it in mint color, but I opted for a bolder color.
We went to see "Rock of Ages", which simply rocked ! I am a musical lover and I loved the music featured in the movie. Have you seen it ?. I love to stay outside when it's summer but I can't renounce to going to the movies, I love it too much !.

Siccome mi aspettavo di fare tardi (cena, cinema e poi uscita, tornando a casa molto tardi) ho deciso di portare con me anche una giacca, una scusa perfetta per indossare il mio chiodo di lino borchiato di Zara ! L'avevo visto in negozio e me ne ero innamorata all'istante - l'avevano anche in menta ma ho optato per un colore più vivace.
Siamo andati a vedere "Rock of Ages", veramente un bel film ! Sono un'amante dei musical e la musica usata nel film mi piace molto. Lo avete visto ?. Adoro stare all'aria aperta in estate ma non posso rinunciare ad andare al cinema, alcune passioni durano per tutto l'anno !.
