Espadrilles are a hot summer trend, and I have jumped on the wedge espadrilles wagon with joy, wedges add a little glamour to to these incredibly comfortable summer shoes. Today on my fashion blog I want to show you how to style wedge espadrilles with a summer outfit featuring red espadrilles and midi skirt I have actually been sporting some time ago. I focused on my favorite color, red, to build this daytime look that is also perfect for summer in the city. The heat is really incredible in these days and it's not easy to go out in stilettoes, so wearing espadrilles can be a great solution for our poor feet !.

Le espadrillas sono un trend estivo molto in, ed io sono salita sul carro delle espadrillas con zeppa con gioia, le zeppe aggiungono un po' di glamour a queste comodissime scarpe estive. Oggi sul mio fashion blog vi voglio mostrare come abbinare le espadrilles con zeppa in un outfit estivo con espadrillas rosse e gonna midi che ho sfoggiato un po' di tempo fa. Mi sono focalizzata sul mio colore preferito, il rosso, per costruire un look da giorno perfetto anche per l'estate in città. Il caldo è davvero insopportabile in questi giorni e non è facile uscire in tacchi a spillo, per cui uscire con le espadrillas può essere una ottima soluzione per i nostri poveri piedi !.

I was wearing my pink Converse All Star sneakers, my Michael Kors Cindy bag that you saw already in a more elegant look, and I accessorized this look with a pink statement necklace from Bijou Brigitte.

La pizza non mente mai è la frase, molto vera, su questa t-shirt rosa di Zaful, per l'outfit rilassato di oggi. La perfetta ricetta di stile per una amante della pizza come me e per un weekend pigro. A dirla tutta, in questi giorni sono stata un po' assente, ma sto risolvendo alcune questioni tecniche relative al mio fashion blog, tirando fuori il mio lato più nerd. Quando sono uscita, ho deciso di optare per un look comodo, ed non potevo non scegliere il colore che più mi fa stare bene: il rosa. Calzavo le mie Converse All Star rosa con la borsa Cindy Michael Kors, che vi avevo mostrato in un look elegante in precedenza, ed ho accessoriato il tutto con una statement necklace rosa Bijou Brigitte.

A Monki denim belted jacket as the key piece in a trendy outfit, after all this fashion blog sees me changing style very often, from a girly look to a more casual one, and denim on denim is a hot trend and the way to go this year. This long denim coat with distressed hem went sold out very quickly on Asos website. I decided to wear it with Zara boyfriend jeans and an orangey red sweatshirt from H&M. My Givenchy Pandora bag and leopard pony hair pumps, as well as an animalier scarf, completed my casual trendy look.

La mia borsa Pandora Givenchy e décolleté in cavallino leopardato, insieme ad una sciarpa della stessa stampa animalier, hanno completato questo look casual trendy.

A Spring transition outfit featuring a floral sweatshirt and new sunglasses ! Yesterday Spring has begun, and we had a sunny but yet pretty cold day. The air is still fresh where I live, so I have to take transition outfits from Winter to Spring slowly, and I thought about wearing my black leather Zara skirt with this colorful floral print sweater and my amazing new Dsquared2 sunglasses found on Giarre.com, an eyeglasses webshop I love because it has so many luxury sunglasses, even the less common ones, at great prices, and a super customer service. I love cat eye sunglasses and these ones, with their crystal decor, are the most glamorous pair I own. This modern look inspired by 60s style, sees me wearing my new sunglasses with this Bershka top and a leather full midi skirt. I added a golden chain necklace from Bijou Brigitte and another pop of warm color with my Balenciaga City bag in rouge ambre.

Un outfit di transizione nella Primavera con una felpa floreale e nuovi occhiali da sole ! Ieri è ufficialmente iniziata la Primavera, e ci ha regalato un giorno di sole, sebbene ancora freddo. L'aria è ancora piuttosto fresca dalle mie parti, e devo prendere questa cosa dei look di transizione con calma, pertanto ho pensato di indossare la mia gonna Zara in pelle nera con questa coloratissima felpa e di inaugurare i miei nuovi occhiali da sole Dsquared2 trovati su Giarre.com, un negozio online che vende occhiali di ogni tipo e che adoro perché fornitissimo, ci si trovano tantissimi brand di lusso a prezzi molto convenienti, inoltre ha un servizio clienti super. Io adoro gli occhiali "da gatta" e questi, con il loro decoro in pietre e cristalli, sono il paio più glamorous che possiedo. Un look moderno ma dall'ispirazione anni '60, che mi ha vista indossare i nuovi occhiali da sole con questo top Bershka e la midi skirt a ruota in pelle. Ho aggiunto una collana a catena dorata, new in di Bijou Brigitte, ed un altro tocco di colore caldo con la mia borsa Balenciaga City rouge ambre.

Hello, everyone ! It's time for the first outfit of march, featuring a Blumarine black leather fringe skirt matched to an orangey red H&M blouse with three quarter sleeves. Fringes are going to be a hot trend also for Spring/Summer, and I love them in this slightly urban version. I love this skirt: it has the perfect length, above the knee, and its simple pencil cut together with the fringed hemline make it fun and sleek at the same time. My new Miu Miu tote bag, that I actually bought for office - great to carry papers and a bag roomy enough to fit my macbook air, it is so stylish that it can be carried everywhere. For this outfit, I chose my Icone cut out heels, and got to wore my new ray-ban sunglasses found on SunglassesShop Italia. I couldn't help adding a statement necklace from Bijou Brigitte, for an additional color injection !.

Gonna in pelle con orlo sfrangiato Blumarine e borsa Miu Miu

Ciao a tutti ! E' il momento del primo outfit di marzo, con una gonna in pelle nera a frange di Blumarine, abbinata ad una blusa di un rosso aranciato H&M, con maniche a tre quarti. Le frange saranno un trend molto caldo anche per la Primavera/Estate, ed io le amo in questa versione un po' urban. Adoro questa gonna: ha la lunghezza perfetta, corta ma non troppo, ed il suo semplice taglio a tubino, insieme al bordo frangiato la rende esclusiva e divertente al tempo stesso. La nuova borsa shopper Miu Miu è stata acquistata da me per l'ufficio, comodissima per le carte e, cosa importantissima, è una borsa abbastanza grande anche per portare il macbook air all'occorrenza, così bella che può essere sfoggiata ovunque. Per questo outfit ho scelto di calzare le scarpe cut out di Icone, ed i miei nuovi occhiali da sole ray-ban trovati su SunglassesShop Italia, negozio specializzato nella vendita di occhiali da sole online. Non ho resistito ad aggiungere una statement necklace Bijou Brigitte, per una ulteriore iniezione di colore !.

It's the last day of February: this, together with the thought of my fashion blogger collegues that - unlike me, stuck at work - could make it at Milan Fashion Week in these days, wearing Spring/Summer collections clothes, made me feel like wearing something new. I ended up wearing this new, adorable flower print  Chi Chi London midi dress, that screams Spring with its lovely pansy print. My solution to wearing such a sleeveless dress with cold weather was this short mustard yellow cardigan from Dixie that, paired with my Dolce & Gabbana boots, helped me to keep it glamorous without freezing !. As a bag, here's a new entry in my collection, a Coccinelle bag I actually found on sale and it was too lovely  and comfortable to let it go. A lovely Bijou Brigitte statement necklace and my Moschino sunglasses, with a new lucky charm bracelet from Luca Barra, and here I am...ready for my own Fashion Week !.

Febbraio è ormai agli sgoccioli: questo, insieme al pensiero delle mie colleghe fashion blogger che, non come me, bloccata al lavoro, sono riuscite a presenziare alla Settimana della Moda milanese in calendario in questi giorni, indossando abiti delle nuove collezioni Primavera/Estate, ed ecco che mi è venuta tanta voglia di novità. Ho risolto indossando questo nuovo, adorabile abito midi Chi Chi London a stampa floreale, molto primaverile con la sua cascata di primule. Per poter indossare un abito senza maniche con una temperatura ancora invernale, ho abbinato questo corto cardigan color senape di Dixie che, insieme agli stivaletti Dolce & Gabbana, mi ha aiutata a mantenermi glam senza congelare !. La borsa è una new entry nella mia collezione, è di Coccinelle e l'ho scovata in saldo, troppo carina e comoda per lasciarmela scappare. Una statement necklace Bijou Brigitte, occhiali Moschino ed un nuovo braccialetto portafortuna Luca Barra, ed eccomi pronta per la mia personalissima Fashion Week !.

A touch of rock: Ramones, studs and a see-thru bag

Today's outfit post is featuring a casual look with a sweatshirt, jeans and Converse sneakers, one of my fave looks for sunny days in this slow start of Spring !. In this "rock" inspired outfit I decided to wear my Marc by Marc Jacobs see thru bag I had told you about a while ago for the first time ;-).

Il post di oggi è casual, con felpa, jeans e Converse ai piedi, uno dei look che preferisco per una passeggiata in una giornata di sole in questo lentissimo inizio di Primavera ! Per questo outfit dai toni "rock", ho deciso di inaugurare la mia borsa semi-trasparente di Marc by Marc Jacobs, della quale vi avevo già parlato in un post precedente ;-).

How are you all ? I am fine, I haven't got a cold anymore even tho I could have another one soon cause shooting outfits in cold winter is not really good for health ! :-)
When I have something new waiting in my closet I just have to hurry up and wear it, that's so me ! Sure enough, the cold wind didn't stop me from showing you that beautiful snake print dress courtesy of AX Paris, a really good online shop ! I paired it with those sky high boots from Loriblu - lately I went to their showroom and they were already doing a sale so I ended up buying those leather boots for half their price and also another pair of ankle boots ! Not that I needed new boots, but as you know there's always a good reasons to buy more shoes !.
The clutch is also from Loriblu, it's really comfy cause it's quite large, but I admit I don't use clutches as much as I would like to, they're feminine and classy but nothing beats a tote to me cause I am used to bringing way too many things in my bag !.

Come state ? Io sto bene, non ho più il raffreddore sebbene potrei averne un altro in arrivo dato che scattare foto per outfit in inverno con il freddo non è proprio un toccasana per la salute ! :-)
Quando ho qualcosa di nuovo che aspetta nel mio armadio devo affrettarmi ad indossarla, è più forte di me ! Infatti, il vento freddo non ha potuto impedirmi di indossare questo carinissimo abito a stampa pitonata offerto da AX Paris, un ottimo shop online ! Ho calzato questi stivali altissimi di Loriblu, frutto di una visita allo showroom dove erano già in corso gli sconti...ho finito per comprare sia questi che un altro paio di tronchetti a metà del loro prezzo originale ! Non che ne avessi bisogno, ma c'è sempre un buon motivo per comprare nuove scarpe !.
La clutch è sempre di Loriblu, è comoda in quanto abbastanza capiente, comunque ammetto di non usare le clutch quanto vorrei, sono molto femminili ed eleganti ma niente batte una "shopping" per una come me, abituata a portarsi dietro di tutto !.

Like many of you already know, Google Friend Connect is gonna go thru changes with time, mostly for non Blogger websites but also for Blogger hosted blogs, in other ways. I have been using it a lot, built a readers base and also used it to keep track of many interesting blogs, I still do and I truly hope we won't get damages from those changes, but I think we should all encourage also other form of following to be connected to and with our readers.
I have recently created a Facebook page for my blog, I am not a huge Facebook user myself, I am more of a Twitteraholic always on my Twitter profile but I thought it would be nice for Facebook addicted, plus this blog is on Bloglovin, of course, a service I love and use so much to keep updated on all my fave blogs.
I would like to encourage the followers of my blog, if you agree with me, to follow Fashion and Cookies also thru Bloglovin and Facebook, if you do please let me know cause I would also like to do that with the blogs I am a follower of.

Come molti di voi già sapranno, Google Friend Connect sta per andare incontro a dei cambiamenti con il passare del tempo, sia per siti non ospitati sulla piattaforma Blogger che, in altro modo, per gli altri.
Io l'ho sempre usato molto, costruendo col tempo una base di lettori ed essendo io stessa la follower di molti blog interessanti, lo utilizzo ancora e spero questi cambiamenti non ci danneggeranno ma credo che si dovrebbero implementare anche altre forme di connessione con i propri lettori.
Ho creato di recente una pagina Facebook per il blog, non sono una vera appassionata di Facebook, mi trovate sempre su Twitter che adoro ma ho pensato che fosse utile per i fruitori di Facebook, inoltre ovviamente ho Bloglovin che trovo un servizio validissimo per mantenersi aggiornati circa i proprio blog preferiti.
Vorrei incoraggiare i follower del blog che sono d'accordo con me a seguire Fashion and Cookies anche attraverso Bloglovin e magari Facebook, chiedendo di farmi sapere in quanto ho intenzione di ricambiare per tutti i blog dei quali sono già follower.

I heard it through the Grapevine

Like many people grown up by the sea, I get so enthusiast when I get to spend a day in the countryside ! The delicate colors of the Fall surely add a magical touch to the hills, and what's better than a walk by the grapevine?!.
Under my black Carla G coat, I was sporting a green lace dress I paired with a long wool cardigan. I chose to wear lace dove color tights matching my ankle boots. A girl should never be without a mongolian sheepskin scarf, I've been treasuring the green one for ages and it came in handy so many times ;-).
In these pics you can also notice my latest beauty obsession...the half moon manicure ! This has been my first attempt and I was pretty satisfied with the result, I did it with Chanel Peridot (by the way, a brand new bottle is waiting for you if you win my Giveaway !) and OPI red nailpolish. What do you think, would you try it as well ?.

Come molte persone cresciute vicino al mare, sono entusiasta quando posso trascorrere una giornata in campagna ! I colori delicati dell'autunno aggiungono sicuramente un tocco magico alle colline e cosa è meglio di una passeggiata tra i vigneti ?!.
Sotto il cappotto nero di Carla G, ho indossato un abitino di pizzo verde che ho abbinato ad un lungo cardigan in lana. Ho deciso di indossare calze in pizzo color tortora, stesso colore dei tronchetti. Una ragazza non dovrebbe mai stare senza una sciarpa di mongolia ed io ho custodito la mia sciarpa verde per anni, ogni tanto si rende veramente utile !.
In queste foto potete notare anche la mia recente ossessione beauty...la half moon manicure ! Questo è stato il mio primo tentativo e devo dire di essere abbastanza soddisfatta del risultato, l'ho creata con lo Chanel Peridot (ricordo che una boccetta nuova sarà uno dei premi per chi si aggiudicherà il mio Giveaway !) e lo smalto rosso di OPI. Che ne pensate di provare anche voi ?.

Another recent obsession of mine are bib necklaces...I have already bought a few of them...I didn't want to go for a very expensive one, I went for cheap versions and I am even trying to make some of my own, I like to craft, I just wish I had more time to work on all projects that come to my mind !. I have to add that anytime I decide to go for the cheap option I end up buying way too many things so I end up spending a lot of money anyway ;-) !.

Un'altra mia recente ossessione sono le bib necklaces o collane a bavaglio o davantini, ne ho già comprate diverse...non volevo prenderne una molto costosa, per ora ho optato per versioni economiche e sto anche pensando di farne qualcuna da me, mi piace creare, vorrei solo avere più tempo per realizzare tutti i progetti che mi vengono in mente !. Vorrei anche aggiungere che ogni volta che scelgo l'opzione più economica finisco per comprare troppe cose e quindi spendere lo stesso un sacco di soldi ;-) !.

And here it is, what I think is the best accessory for a woman, a girl, a blogger...a smile ! What do you think ? I think life is already so complicated and it's important to keep ironic, to try not to take ourselves too seriously and to smile as often as we can !.

Ed ecco infine ciò che io considero l'accessorio migliore per una donna, una ragazza, una blogger...un sorriso ! Che ne pensate ? Penso la vita sia già complicata e che sia importante mantenersi ironici, non prendersi troppo sul serio e cercare di sorridere il più spesso possibile !.
