Rose print is one of the hottest trends of this season, like I told you a couple of posts ago. My new outfit is featuring a peplum rose print dress from Asos that had been waiting to be worn for quite a long time. This mid lenght dress has a 40s inspired pencil shape with a slim skirt so it was natural for me to style it with pumps and a structured handbag like my Givenchy Antigona bag. A look that reminds me of my beloved old Hollywood movies, a classic style that inspired many contemporary designers, especially Dolce & Gabbana, and in these days an interview they did on Panorama magazine caused a big stir and Sir Elton John started a call for boycott, but this is another story, I only admire their fashion. Anyway, this is not a Dolce & Gabbana dress, this is Asos, and we can be ladylike also with a low cost dress, and nicely vintage with a red rose in our hair and a new Dixie necklace, present from my mother, fashion lover and dedicated reader of this fashion blog !.

La stampa a rose è uno dei trend più in voga per la primavera, come vi ho detto un paio di post fa. Il mio nuovo outfit mi vede indossare proprio un abito con stampa rose e baschina di Asos che attendeva nel mio armadio da tempo. Questo vestito di media lunghezza ha un taglio che si ispira agli anni '40, con una gonna stretta e dritta, molto femminile, e mi è venuto spontaneo abbinarlo alle décolletée ed a una borsa strutturata come la Givenchy Antigona. Un look che mi ricorda i miei adorati vecchi film di Hollywood ed uno stile classico che ha ispirato tanti stilisti contemporanei, specialmente Dolce & Gabbana, casualmente capita proprio nei giorni in cui c'è una polemica in atto su di loro a causa di una controversa intervista su Panorama che ha addirittura portato Sir Elton John ad invitare a boicottarli, ma questa è un'altra storia, a me piace solo la loro moda. Questo comunque non è un abito Dolce & Gabbana, è un Asos, e si può essere ladylike anche con un abito relativamente low cost, e deliziosamente retrò con una rosa rossa tra i capelli ed una nuova collana Dixie, regalo della mia mamma, appassionata di moda e lettrice di questo fashion blog !.

I gioielli Luca Barra, brand tutto italiano, hanno un posto speciale nel mio cuore ed in questo fashion blog: sempre alla moda ed eleganti, di qualità indiscussa, le collane ed i bracciali in particolare sono una piacevole aggiunta ai miei outfit, e questi che vedete sono i pezzi che ho scelto dalla collezione Primavera Estate 2015 Luca Barra. Mi sono innamorata della collana di perle con cristalli blu, scegliendo anche il bracciale della stessa linea, che ho già indossato in un look precedente. Actually, florals - seen on this fashion blog all the time, because I am obsessed - are a hot trend also for this warm season, in a slightly different way compared to the past season, when we had more delicate and small blooms...now the flowers are bolder, larger and also more colorful. Just think about the amazing Dolce & Gabbana Spring Summer 2015 collection, filled with the most beautiful flowers: orange blossoms, mimosas, roses and carnations on skirts, dresses, bon ton coats and also on shoes and bags. Florals have been chosen by many other designers such as Givenchy, Michael Kors, Stella McCartney and in most of cases the prints feature big flowers, and also leaves, green leaves everywhere just like in the cute Moschino Cheap and Chic resort fantasy print dress you see in the image below. Anyway, it's not just only about flowers and leaves, a trend taking inspiration directly from gardening clothing, takes us in a magical place where women wear denim dungarees, rubber boots, fun gloves and flirty wide brim hats to repair from the sun.

Eppure, i fiori - visti sempre su questo fashion blog perché ne sono ossessionata - sono molto in voga anche quest'anno, sebbene in modo diverso rispetto all'anno scorso, quando le fantasie erano a prevalenza di timidi e delicati boccioli...ora i fiori sono più vivaci, definiti e colorati. Viene subito da pensare alla bellissima collezione Primavera/Estate 2015 Dolce & Gabbana, che vede fantasie con i fiori più belli: zagare, mimose, rose e garofani su abiti, gonne, cappottini bon ton e anche su scarpe e borse. Le fantasie floreali sono state scelte da molti altri designer com Givenchy, Michael Kors, Stella McCartney e nella maggior parte dei casi si tratta di fantasie forti, dai fiori grandi. In altri casi, troviamo le foglie, foglie verdi ovunque, come nel caso del carinissimo abito Moschino Cheap and Chic che vedete nell'immagine sottostante. Comunque, non si tratta solo di fiori e  foglie, il trend attinge direttamente dall'abbigliamento specializzato da giardinaggio, ci catapulta in un posto incantato in cui la donna indossa salopette di jeans, porta stivaloni in gomma, guanti e vezzosi cappelli di paglia a tesa larga per ripararsi dal sole.

Cowgirl chic style is something I have always wanted to give a try, even long before being a fashion blogger and since it's a hot trend for Spring/Summer 2015, I wore this urban cowgirl outfit featuring Calvin Klein boyfriend jeans, Le Silla golden texan ankle boots, mexican style blanket poncho from Oasap, inspired by the famous Burberry blanket cape, and a fringed sweatshirt with mexican print from Zara. Modern cowgirls don't ride horses, they ride Chanel bags and wear red lipstick...so here I am, with my beloved Chanel 2.55 bag that is truly a passepartout with all styles, both casual and elegant !.

With Spring getting near, I feel like making some changes in my beauty and makeup routine. I already told you about my love for Dr. Hauschka and its natural makeup and skincare products in a previous post, for the high quality of the eco-friendly products of this brand, and now I am here to introduce the new Dr. Hauschka foundation that replaces Translucent Make-up with a new formula and fragrance. This illuminating and nurturing foundation is actually a skincare product and a foundation in one, combining medicinal plant extracts with mineral pigments and vegetable waxes and oils, including pomegranate essence, macadamia nut oil and coconut oil. Macadamia nut oil gives radiance to the skin, pomegranate promote the skin's regeneration and coconut oil has incredible moisturising power. This new Dr. Hauschka foundation comes in five tones and has a light  yet creamy texture, perfect all through the year, it's a new ally for a flawless complexion. I had the chance to try all the colors, and both #01 macadamia and #02 almond are good on my fair skin. I tried also mixing them with #03 chestnut and the result was really good. A medium to high coverage and a high staying power, in spite of the foundation being so creamy, and easy to blend both with fingers and with a sponge or brush (I prefer to use my fingers, instead how do you prefer to apply your foundation ?).

Con l'avvicinarsi della Primavera, mi viene sempre tanta voglia di cambiamento in ambito beauty e makeup. Vi avevo già parlato del mio amore per il brand Dr. Hauschka, che si occupa di makeup e skincare con prodotti eco-friendly e di alta qualità, in un post precedente, ed ora ho il piacere di presentarvi una novità: il nuovo foundation Dr. Hauschka che va a sostituire il Translucent Make-Up con una nuovissima formula e profumazione. Questo fondontinta illuminante e nutriente è sia un prodotto di cura per la pelle che un fondo, grazie ai preziosi ingredienti, ovvero estratti di piante con pigmenti minerali e cere ed oli vegetali, in particolare l'essenza di melograno, l'olio di noce di macadamia e olio di cocco. In particolare, l'olio di noce di macadamia illumina l'incarnato, il melograno agevola la rigenerazione della pelle e l'olio di cocco ha un incredibile potere idratante. Questo nuovo fondotinta Dr. Hauschka è prodotto in cinque tonalità ed ha una consistenza leggera e cremosa al tempo stesso, perfetta per tutti i periodi dell'anno, ed è un nuovo alleato per un incarnato perfetto. Io ho avuto la possibilità di provare tutti e cinque i colori disponibili e devo dire che sono veramente molto naturali. Nel mio caso, pelle molto chiara, sia il #01 macadamia che il #02 almond stanno benissimo, ma ho provato anche a miscelarli con il #03 chestnut con risultati davvero molto soddisfacenti. La coprenza di questi fondi è medio alta e sono durevoli sulla pelle, nonostante così cremosi, e facili da sfumare sia con le dita che con una spugna o un pennello (io solitamente uso le dita, e voi invece come preferite applicare il fondotinta ?).

Hello, everyone ! It's time for the first outfit of march, featuring a Blumarine black leather fringe skirt matched to an orangey red H&M blouse with three quarter sleeves. Fringes are going to be a hot trend also for Spring/Summer, and I love them in this slightly urban version. I love this skirt: it has the perfect length, above the knee, and its simple pencil cut together with the fringed hemline make it fun and sleek at the same time. My new Miu Miu tote bag, that I actually bought for office - great to carry papers and a bag roomy enough to fit my macbook air, it is so stylish that it can be carried everywhere. For this outfit, I chose my Icone cut out heels, and got to wore my new ray-ban sunglasses found on SunglassesShop Italia. I couldn't help adding a statement necklace from Bijou Brigitte, for an additional color injection !.

Gonna in pelle con orlo sfrangiato Blumarine e borsa Miu Miu

Ciao a tutti ! E' il momento del primo outfit di marzo, con una gonna in pelle nera a frange di Blumarine, abbinata ad una blusa di un rosso aranciato H&M, con maniche a tre quarti. Le frange saranno un trend molto caldo anche per la Primavera/Estate, ed io le amo in questa versione un po' urban. Adoro questa gonna: ha la lunghezza perfetta, corta ma non troppo, ed il suo semplice taglio a tubino, insieme al bordo frangiato la rende esclusiva e divertente al tempo stesso. La nuova borsa shopper Miu Miu è stata acquistata da me per l'ufficio, comodissima per le carte e, cosa importantissima, è una borsa abbastanza grande anche per portare il macbook air all'occorrenza, così bella che può essere sfoggiata ovunque. Per questo outfit ho scelto di calzare le scarpe cut out di Icone, ed i miei nuovi occhiali da sole ray-ban trovati su SunglassesShop Italia, negozio specializzato nella vendita di occhiali da sole online. Non ho resistito ad aggiungere una statement necklace Bijou Brigitte, per una ulteriore iniezione di colore !.

This online magazine is packed with interesting news for women (but not only) and is a wonderful way to relax online and catch up on the latest news. I especially use this website to read new tricks in the beauty section (I love it how each article is organized in a easy reading list in a writing style that is easy on my eyes and also allows me to read get to the point) but there are many categories and so many articles written by different writers and editors, added everyday, that make this website so interesting and suitable for people from different culture and age.

Ovviamente, io trascorro molto tempo a lavorare su questo fashion blog, e leggendo i post delle mie colleghe che, come me, hanno deciso di condividere un po' del loro mondo come fashion blogger. Leggo questo sito molto spesso per le interessanti novità nella sezione beauty (amo il modo in cui gli articoli sono scritti, in modo schematico e facile da scorrere, non affatica gli occhi e, soprattutto, arriva dritto al punto) ma ci sono tante categorie di argomenti e tanti articoli scritti da diversi scrittori, aggiunti ogni giorno, che rendono questo sito così interessante ed adatto a persone di diversa cultura ed età.

Fashion blogger style: February Outfits recap

Welcome, March ! I was really longing for this month, Spring is getting closer and I couldn't be happier about it ! Before venturing in the new posts on this fashion blog, let's recap the outfits from February. We had a mixture of very feminine looks, with a few casual outfits. In my own fashion blogger style, I explored the faux fur trend, the mixing of patterns and prints, I got to wore the trendy Stan Smith sneakers and my brand new Dolce & Gabbana ankle boots. I wore my beloved camel coat and also got to wear a couple of lovely beanies. My favorite outfit from the past month is #1, with that royal blue peplum dress, but I also love the Mauro Grifoni green dress at #5, and the pansy printed midi dress from Chi Chi London I wore as last look. My favorite casual look is the one with the baseball cap worn with classic clothes. What is your favorite outfit from this roundup ? As alwayts, I am very curious to know it !.

Benvenuto, marzo ! Ero in trepidante attesa che iniziassi, la Primavera si avvicina e io ne sono felicissima ! Prima di avventurarci nei nuovi post su questo fashion blog, è il momento di riepilogare gli outfit di febbraio. Abbiamo avuto un insieme di look molto femminili e qualche outfit più casual. In pieno stile fashion blogger, ho giocato con i pellicciotti e gli inserti in ecopelliccia, ho mescolato stampe e tessuti, ho calzato le comodissime e trendy Stan Smith Adidas ed i miei nuovi stivaletti Dolce & Gabbana. Ho sfruttato il mio adorato cappotto cammello e ho portato anche un paio di cappellini molto simpatici. Il mio outfit preferito di febbraio è senza dubbi il numero 1 con l'abito peplum blu elettrico, ma amo anche l'abito verde Mauro Grifoni al numero 5, ed il midi dress con le primule di Chi Chi London che ho indossato come ultimo look del mese. Il mio outfit casual preferito è invece quello dove porto un cappellino da baseball con il cappotto classico. Qual è il vostro outfit preferito ? Come sempre, sono molto curiosa di saperlo !.

It's the last day of February: this, together with the thought of my fashion blogger collegues that - unlike me, stuck at work - could make it at Milan Fashion Week in these days, wearing Spring/Summer collections clothes, made me feel like wearing something new. I ended up wearing this new, adorable flower print  Chi Chi London midi dress, that screams Spring with its lovely pansy print. My solution to wearing such a sleeveless dress with cold weather was this short mustard yellow cardigan from Dixie that, paired with my Dolce & Gabbana boots, helped me to keep it glamorous without freezing !. As a bag, here's a new entry in my collection, a Coccinelle bag I actually found on sale and it was too lovely  and comfortable to let it go. A lovely Bijou Brigitte statement necklace and my Moschino sunglasses, with a new lucky charm bracelet from Luca Barra, and here I am...ready for my own Fashion Week !.

Febbraio è ormai agli sgoccioli: questo, insieme al pensiero delle mie colleghe fashion blogger che, non come me, bloccata al lavoro, sono riuscite a presenziare alla Settimana della Moda milanese in calendario in questi giorni, indossando abiti delle nuove collezioni Primavera/Estate, ed ecco che mi è venuta tanta voglia di novità. Ho risolto indossando questo nuovo, adorabile abito midi Chi Chi London a stampa floreale, molto primaverile con la sua cascata di primule. Per poter indossare un abito senza maniche con una temperatura ancora invernale, ho abbinato questo corto cardigan color senape di Dixie che, insieme agli stivaletti Dolce & Gabbana, mi ha aiutata a mantenermi glam senza congelare !. La borsa è una new entry nella mia collezione, è di Coccinelle e l'ho scovata in saldo, troppo carina e comoda per lasciarmela scappare. Una statement necklace Bijou Brigitte, occhiali Moschino ed un nuovo braccialetto portafortuna Luca Barra, ed eccomi pronta per la mia personalissima Fashion Week !.

How to wear faux fur is a question that for me can be answered in many ways: just have fun with your furry jacket or, like in this case, also with a faux fur sweatshirt !. My favorite way to wear faux fur must be the casual way, just match a pair of good jeans and you are all done, but it can also be extremely elegant with a dress or a skirt. Ciao a tutti e buon Sabato ! Io lo trascorrerò facendo un po' di shopping, alla caccia di accessori per la Primavera. Nel frattempo, eccovi un piccolo post outfit che riguarda uno dei trend più hot dell'Inverno, presentato in tutte le salse da molte fashion blogger: l'ecopelliccia. Mio marito - ve lo avevo già detto e lo ribadisco - non vede l'ora che l'inverno finisca proprio perché non ne va affatto matto, ma io adoro ed ho una nutrita collezione di pellicciotti !. Come indossare l'ecopelliccia è una domanda che per me può trovare diverse risposte: divertitevi indossando la vostra giacca in falsa pelliccia o, come nel mio caso, anche con una felpa con inserti in pelliccia !. Il mio modo preferito di indossare un pellicciotto penso sia quello casual, abbinate ad un bel paio di jeans ed è fatta, ma l'ecopelliccia può essere anche molto elegante con un abito o una gonna.
