Motivational and Girl Power sweatshirts and t-shirts are so trendy right now and I have jumped on the wagon since I think we should be proud of what we are and also, above all, support each other. My new Winkwood sunglasses come directly from Melbourne, Australia, and I got immediately hooked by them. They are truly unique, with their wood carved frame, mirrored lenses with UV-400 protection and a matching carved wooden storage box.

Questo è il tipico look di quanto voglio stare comoda ma alla moda, insieme ad un paio di jeans boyfriend o mom - meglio se con le toppe come questi e scarpe basse (le slip-on sono perfette). Le felpe motivazionali e ispirate al Girl Power sono molto di moda al momento e io mi sono unita al coro dato che credo dobbiamo essere fiere di ciò che siamo e, sopratutto, supportarci a vicenda. I miei nuovi occhiali da sole Winkwood arrivano direttamente da Melbourne, Australia e ne sono rimasta subito colpita, sono davvero unici, con la montatura in legno rigato, lenti a specchio a protezione UV-400 e una scatola portaocchiali in legno abbinata.

You seldom see me with basic black trousers on my fashion blog, simply because I often feel like they are dull, and as you know I am a lover of colors and not really a minimalist. A good pair of black pants are, anyway, supposed to be a staple in our wardrobe, and I have found my favorite way to wear them: first of all, I prefer my pants to have a slim cut, and possibly to be ankle length, that way I know they'll look good with a pair of Oxfords and also, like in this case, with Le Silla stiletto ankle boots. The pants you see me wearing in this post are alswith pretty high waisted, and I matched them with a pink sweater and a cute three quarter sleeves jacket with a chic allure.

Come indossare pantaloni neri senza sentirsi noiose ? Mi vedete raramente con pantaloni neri basic sul mio fashion blog, semplicemente perché spesso li trovo banali, e come sapete, sono un'amante dei colori e di certo non una minimalista. Un bel paio di pantaloni neri rappresentano, comunque, un elemento indispensabile nel nostro guardaroba, e io ho scoperto il mio modo preferito di indossarli: prima di tutto, li preferisco dal taglio slim, e possibilmente alla caviglia. In questo modo posso valorizzarli sia con un paio di stringate Oxford che, come ho fatto in questo caso, con degli stivaletti con tacco a spillo Le Silla. I pantaloni che mi vedete in questo post sono anche abbastanza a vita alta e io li ho indossati con una maglia rosa e una carinissima giacchina dalle maniche a tre quarti dall'allure chic.

Comfortable on the legs compared to skinny jeans and able to put the waist in evidence, these ones aren't easy to pull off and are often addressed as unflattering for the figure, but if worn the right way they can be a lot of fun. My mom jeans are patched - clothes with patches being another hot trend for Spring/Summer 2016. I wore them with a candy pink turtletneck sweater and a short cardigan in a nice shade of azure. I added pink Vans sunglasses and Nike sneakers for a jump in the 80s style. I love to travel back in time, you know it !.

I mom jeans, ovvero boyfriend jeans a vita alta, erano molto di moda negli anni 80 e hanno avuto un ritorno. Comodi sulle gambe rispetto ai jeans skinny e capaci di mettere in evidenza il punto vita, sono un modello di jeans che non è facile da portare e spesso viene indicato come poco lusinghiero per il fisico, ma se indossato con la giusta dose di ironia può essere molto divertente. I miei mom jeans hanno le toppe - gli abiti con le applicazioni sono un altro trend molto in voga per la primavera/estate 2016. Li ho indossati con una maglia a collo alto rosa caramella e un cardigan corto di una bella tonalità azzurra. Ho aggiunto occhiali da sole Vans e sneakers Nike per un salto completo nello stile degli anni 80. Adoro viaggiare indietro nel tempo, lo sapete !.

Frayed hem jeans are all the rage right now, and I jumped on the raw-hem wagon with these super cute Zara patched pair, in this casual outfit perfect for running errands and for going Christmas presents hunting. My beloved Max Mara camel coat, a black and white check maxi scarf and a brand new pair of leather slip on ankle boots with elastic sides from B&H shoes, an italian brand from Marche region. I have always been a fan of this brand, their shoes are beautiful, comfortable and are a great value for money, all made in Italy. This pair of slip-on beetles has a touch of gold on the elastic sides, and a white flat sole - for a trendy and comfortable effect.

Il jeans con l'orlo sfilacciato è di gran moda adesso, e anche io sono salita sul vagone dell'orlo jeans taglio vivo con questi carinissimi jeans con toppe Zara, in questo outfit casual perfetto per sbrigare commissioni e andare in cerca dei regali di Natale. Il mio adorato cappotto cammello Max Mara, una maxi sciarpa a quadri bianca e nera e un nuovo paio di stivaletti in pelle slip-on con inserti in elastico di B&H shoes, brand italiano originario delle Marche. Sono da tanto tempo una fan di questo brand che crea scarpe belle, comode e anche con un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, tutte made in Italy. Questo paio di beetles slip-on ha un tocco di oro con gli elastici ai lati e una suola piatta e bianca, per un effetto trendy e comodo.

Outfit: dress nice on a budget

You don't need to spend a fortune to dress up nicely, this is what I think. Nowadays, there is plenty of choice out there and we can find nice dresses and clothes at reasonable prices. 

I like to invest in statement, luxury and designer pieces from time to time, but since I also like to change style very often, and I love to dress nice finding something cute in low cost stores !.

Dressing nice on a budget is possible, especially if we have the right accessories: it is the case with this outfit: the dress I am wearing costed me less than 10 € at H&M and the cute pink jacket was on sale at Zara for 25 €. A nice low cost look that I spiced up with some cool accessories, as I like ! 

Non occorre spendere una fortuna per vestire bene, lo penso davvero. Oggigiorno, c'è così tanta scelta nei negozi ed è possibile trovare tante cose carine, che siano abitini o altro, a prezzi vantaggiosi. 

Mi piace investire in capi di marca, di lusso e di designer ogni tanto, ma dato che amo anche cambiare spesso stile, non disdegno gli acquisti low cost !. Mi piace tanto scovare capi carini a prezzi stracciati e giocare ad abbinarli. Vestire bene con poco è possibile, specialmente se si hanno gli accessori giusti: è il caso di questo outfit, costruito su due pezzi oltremodo economici: l'abitino di H&M che indosso mi è costato meno di 10 euro e la giacchina rosa era in saldo da Zara a circa 25 euro. Un bel look low cost che ho provveduto ad accessoriare come piace a me !.

How are you, guys ? Going back to work after Christmas/New Year holidays is always a huge shock, and this morning, when the alarm went off, I didn't really want to get up ! Moreover, my Christmas tree is still here, waiting to be put aside, but I spent my free time in Zara checking on the sales and now I am here, doing one of the things I like the most: blogging, so it has to wait. Every year in this period I feel a bit melancholic, this has never changed with time. Something changed: I remember my mum buying me pinafore dresses when I was a kid, and I wasn't that enthusiastic...now I am a grown up woman and I was thinking I ended up buying a pinafore dress myself, so maybe it's in my DNA ! This sleeveless shift dress is three times trendy: it has checks, it has studs and I am sure you noticed that this shade is similar to the color of 2014 according to Pantone: radiant orchid !. Mother, I forgive you for what you made me wear...on the contrary, I thank you !.

Come state ? Tornare al lavoro dopo le ferie natalizie è sempre un grande shock e questa mattina, quando la sveglia ha suonato, non volevo saperne di alzarmi ! In più, l'albero di Natale campeggia ancora trionfante in salotto, ma io anziché disfarlo sono stata da Zara per i saldi e ora sto facendo una delle cose che preferisco, ovvero scrivere un post...l'albero dovrà attendere !. Ma veniamo al post di oggi, con un capo che mi riporta all'infanzia, quando mia madre mi comprava il cosìddetto "scamiciato", ovvero un abito senza maniche da portare su una maglia aderente o una camicia. Ne avevo tanti, forse troppi. Evidentemente il concetto di scamiciato/a è impresso nel mio DNA, perché solo ora ho realizzato di averne diversi, incluso questo, che è tre volte trendy: ha una fantasia tartan, ha le borchie e, cosa da non sottovalutare, è in un colore simile a quello che, secondo Pantone, è quello dell'anno 2014: radiant orchid ! Mamma, ti perdono per tutto ciò che mi hai fatto indossare, anzi...ti ringrazio !.

When I think about pinstripe pants, often I end up thinking about office suits, to formal, somehow boring trousers. Well, in this outfit I want to show you another use for grey pinstripe pants...I paired them to a holiday sweater with a squirrel on the front and to a statement bag and coatigan, in an eclectic ensemble that won't surely make you think about an office meeting but is kinda festive. After all, Christmas is almost here...and I wish you from now to spend it in peace and harmony, surrounded by your loved ones !.

Quando penso al pantalone gessato, spesso mi ritrovo a immaginare completi adatti prettamente all'ufficio, a pantaloni formali e, in un certo modo, anonimi. Con questo outfit voglio mostrarvi un modo alternativo di indossare pants gessati...li ho abbinati ad un maglione perfetto per le feste natalizie, con uno scoiattolo sul davanti, e ad una borsa e un coatigan molto particolari, un insieme eclettico che non vi farà di certo pensare ad un incontro di lavoro, ma è abbastanza festivo. Dopotutto, Natale è sempre più vicino...e vi auguro fin ad ora di trascorrerlo in serenità e armonia, insieme ai vostri cari !.

Well, this the kind of look I like to sport for a late afternoon at the cinema. Simple blue jeans, my new combat boots, a long sweater and a touch of tartan with my jacket from Persunmall.

Dopo un outfit elegante, si torna a qualcosa di più confortevole e da tutti i giorni. Vi piace andare al cinema ? Flowers on my mini dress

Lately I've been sporting casual outfits and wearing jeans more than ever, but I am always happy when I can wear a cute dress, especially if it's flower printed like this one !.

I've focused on the blue details of the flower print and built the outfit around them, with my Balenciaga bag and suede pumps. Since the air was still kinda fresh, I added cotton tights with a matching color.

Ultimamente mi avete vista spesso con outfit sportivi e in jeans, ma sono sempre felice quando riesco ad indossare un abito carino, specialmente a stampa floreale come questo !.

Mi sono concentrata sui dettagli blu della stampa e ho costruito l'outfit intorno ad essi, con la mia Balenciaga e pumps scamosciate. Dato che l'aria era ancora bella fresca, ho indossato calze in leggero cotone dello stesso colore.

My bag wishlist is truly infinite and it keeps growing. As a true bagaholic, I think I have found the perfect dress ! This dress featuring handbags is hand painted and, therefore, unique...when I saw it in a lovely concept store, I couldn't leave without it !.

La mia wishlist in fatto di borse è veramente infinita e continua a crescere. Da appassionata di borse, credo di aver trovato l'abito perfetto ! Questo vestito aderente raffigurante tante borse è dipinto a mano ed è un pezzo unico...quando l'ho adocchiato in un adorabile concept store, non ho potuto lasciarlo lì !.

I wore the dress with a crossbody Hoss Intropia leather bag (see it better in the pic underneath).
At my feet, I had a pair of high stiletto pumps from Cesare Paciotti. The heels are metallic and I think it could be classified as weapon :-).
After all, 99% of my Paciotti shoes are stilettoes...and in this past year my collection kept growing. One of the good things about this brand is that you can actually walk in those shoes without feeling an escruciating pain in your feet ! Ho indossato questo abito con una tracollina di Hoss Intropia in pelle e cavallino (si vede meglio nella foto sottostante).
Ai piedi, portavo un paio di pumps di Cesare Paciotti dal tacco a spillo alto e...di metallo...credo che quel tacco potrebbe tranquillamente essere classificato come arma letale ! :-).
Dopotutto, il 99% delle scarpe Paciotti che possiedo hanno il tacco a spillo...e in questo ultimo anno la mia collezione è cresciuta. La cosa che mi fa amare questo brand è che con queste scarpe si può camminare senza essere assalite da un dolore lancinante ai piedi !.

I was wearing a H&M (old) necklace and I decided to keep my hair tied, for a change. Lipstick was dark, a mixture of Estée Lauder and Urban Decay, I am getting so used to these dark colors that I am wearing them more and more !.

Al collo portavo una collana di H&M e ho deciso di tenere i capelli legati, per cambiare un po'. Il rossetto era scuro, ottenuto mixandone uno mat di Estée Lauder ed una matita di Urban Decay, ormai mi ci sto abituando sempre più e porto spessissimo tinte scure !.

I am really glad when I find something original and I know it's a handmade work ! This dress really puts me in a good mood, it's a nice dress to wear in this period of the year, when Christmas holidays are already a memory and we have a couple of cold months ahead us.
I am fighting the winter blues with some shopping, movies and tv series, and finally tomorrow I will be back to the gym ! What about you, do you like this time of the year ?.

Sono davvero contenta quando trovo qualcosa di originale e frutto di lavoro artigianale ! Questo abito mi mette di buon umore, è perfetto da indossare in un periodo come questo, quando le vacanze natalizie sono ormai già un ricordo e abbiamo un paio di mesi freddi davanti a noi.

Underneath my coat...

I had told you that the previous post was to be continued, because I still had to show you what I was wearing underneath my Balenciaga coat ! Well, some of you guessed the color of my outfit right, maybe also because lately I have an obsession with the trendiest color of the season: burgundy color ! I was wearing an oxblood dress from H&M, indeed ;).

Vi avevo preannunciato nel post precedente che sarebbe continuato perché non vi avevo ancora mostrato cosa indossavo sotto al mio cappotto di Balenciaga ! Beh, alcune di voi hanno indovinato il colore dell'abito, probabilmente facilitate dalla mia ormai nota ossessione per il colore più trendy della stagione: il bordeaux, o burgundy, oxblood, vinaccio, chiamatelo come preferite ! Indossavo un abito bordeaux H&M, infatti ;).

The oxblood dress from H&M is sleeveless, so I matched an oxblood top to make it warmer and also added a studded Zara necklace and a soft leather belt to spice it up !. I personally love the black and burgundy combo and I can easily see myself wearing this outfit also both for the office and for a drink at the club, it depends on the accessories I use ;).

L'abitino di H&M è smanicato, io ho aggiunto un top di Subdued dal colore molto simile sotto per renderlo più caldo e ho aggiunto una cintura legata in vita e una collana borchiata di Zara per movimentare il look !. Personalmente amo questa combinazione di burgundy e nero e posso facilmente sfruttare un look del genere in ufficio così come per una serata in un locale, a seconda degli accessori usati.

In the pic above you can see details of my beloved bag and most of all of my fave nail polish of the moment: Merino Cool from Essie. This is a perfect color for winter, I think !. The cuff is not a Hermès cuff but it's nice anyway, it's from Juicy Couture ;).
My BVLGARI BZero ring is always with me, I love it and I can't separate from it, even tho I'd have other rings to wear and it prevents me from wearing other bulky rings on my right hand ;)
I am very anxious to prepare my Christmas tree, here in Italy we usually decorate it on 8th december...in a few days my flat is gonna be full with lights and holiday decoration, can't wait ! Have you already set up all your Xmas decoration ?.

Nella foto sopra potete vedere in dettaglio la mia adorata borsa e soprattutto lo smalto che preferisco al momento: Merino Cool di Essie. E' un colore perfetto per la stagione invernale e lo adoro !. Il bracciale non è il famoso cuff di Hermès ma è molto carino ugualmente, è di Juicy Couture ;).
Il mio anello BVLGARI BZero è sempre con me, lo adoro ed è difficile per me separarmene, sebbene sia un peccato perché avrei altri anelli da indossare e mi impedisce di portarne altri vistosi alla mano destra ;).
Sono ansiosa di preparare l'albero di Natale che, solitamente in Italia si addobba l'8 dicembre...tra pochi giorni casa mia diventerà un tripudio di luci e decorazioni varie...voi avete già preparato tutto ?.

Peach sequin dress

The first August post is dedicated to...pink color ! It's not a secret I am a lover of pink, just look at my blog...and I especially love the shade of peach of this sequin dress from H&M. This soft color is almost a naked one makes sequins more suitable even for daytime, sparkly without being too much !. Non that being too much ever worried me anyway :-P.

Il primo post di Agosto è dedicato al rosa ! Non è un segreto che io ami questo colore, basta dare un'occhiata al mio blog...e mi piace particolarmente la tonalità pesca di questo abito di paillettes di H&M. Questo colore tenue e quasi neutro rende le paillettes più adatte anche al giorno, scintillante senza troppe esagerazioni !. Non che esagerare mi abbia mai preoccupata, comunque :-P.

I added a statement necklace, the one from Sodini I had already showed you, and I decided to go for my Icone pumps, they're high heeled but very comfy and even tho they are sparkly too, they have something in common with the dress: their color is different but it's a soft shade, as well.

Ho aggiunto una collana importante, quella di Sodini che vi avevo già mostrato, e ho deciso di calzare le mie pumps di Icone, dal tacco alto ma molto comode e, sebbene preziose, anche esse discrete grazie alla tonalità delicata.

Since I am in a pink mood, I wanted to show you a pic of our room in the Don Alfonso Relais et Chateaux hotel last month, I was so in love with the whole place cause it was flawless and...it was all pink ! Wasn't it lovely ?.

Dato che sono di umore "rosa", vi voglio mostrare una foto della camera che avevamo al Relais et Chateaux hotel Don Alfonso lo scorso mese, ero innamorata dell'intero decoro della struttura, perfetto e...interamente rosa ! Non era carinissima ?.
