Geometric print dresses have that 70s retro vibe that makes them irresistible to me, and the bodycon yet comfortable cut makes them perfect even for office life. This lovely print dress is from french brand 1.2.3 Paris, that I already had the chance to appreciate last summer, and that keeps fascinating me with its chic clothes, suitable for a modern and trendy woman. I got immediately hooked on the retro print and decided to match my 1.2.3 Paris dress with suede chestnut ankle boots and my brand new Balenciaga City bag in cognac. What about my outerwear piece ? Always from 1.2.3 Paris, I went for a khaki trench coat, a real must have in any Fall closet ! Paloma trench has also a plus touch, also a hood, very useful with these months' rainy and humid weather.

Sono stata immediatamente attratta dalla stampa retro e ho deciso di abbinare il mio abito 1.2.3 Paris con ankle boots in suede nocciola e la mia nuova borsa Balenciaga City color cognac. Invece, cosa ho scelto come soprabito ? Sempre di 1.2.3 Paris, ho scelto un trench color kaki, un vero must have in ogni guardaroba autunnale ! Il trench Paloma ha un tocco in più, anche il cappuccio, utilissimo con il tempo piovoso e umido di questi mesi.

Where did Spring go ? Right after completing the seasonal wardrobe change, a windy and pretty fresh weather has been driving me insane and in spite of being a self confessed clothes and accessories hoarder, feel like I have nothing to wear. Well, let's fight this feeling with a colorful floral midi skirt and a girly look that isn't minimalistic at all, with some extra jewelry and a positive attitude !. This is hopefully the last outfit wearing tights you are going to see here for quite some time, I seriously need warm weather, and I need it now !. This lovely floral midi skirt is the key piece in this romantic look. I wore it with a light pink top tucked in, and added a pair of tweed ankle boots, as well as a small royal blue Kate Spade New York bucket bag. I went for my hair up, in one of the few hairdos I can actually do by myself, with the help of a jeweled hair pin that makes me feel a bit like a princess.

Dove è andata a finire la primavera ? Proprio dopo aver completato il cambio di stagione, ecco che un tempo freddo e ventoso mi sta facendo impazzire, e proprio io, confessa accumulatrice seriale di vestiti e accessori, mi sento come se non avessi niente da mettere. Beh, combattiamo questa sensazione con una gonna midi a fiori e un look girly che non è di certo minimalista, con qualche bijoux in più e un atteggiamento positivo !. Questo è, si spera, l'ultimo outfit con le calze che vedrete su questo fashion blog per un po', ho seriamente bisogno di caldo, lo voglio adesso !. Questa adorabile gonna midi a fiori è proprio il pezzo chiave di questo look romantico. L'ho indossata con un top rosa chiaro portato dentro la gonna, e ho aggiunto un paio di particolari stivaletti in tweed, oltre a un secchiellino blu elettrico Kate Spade New York. Ho scelto di portare i capelli raccolti, in una delle poche pettinature che riesco a fare da sola, con l'aiuto di un fermaglio gioiello che mi fa sentire un po' principessa.

Rose print is one of the hottest trends of this season, like I told you a couple of posts ago. My new outfit is featuring a peplum rose print dress from Asos that had been waiting to be worn for quite a long time. This mid lenght dress has a 40s inspired pencil shape with a slim skirt so it was natural for me to style it with pumps and a structured handbag like my Givenchy Antigona bag. A look that reminds me of my beloved old Hollywood movies, a classic style that inspired many contemporary designers, especially Dolce & Gabbana, and in these days an interview they did on Panorama magazine caused a big stir and Sir Elton John started a call for boycott, but this is another story, I only admire their fashion. Anyway, this is not a Dolce & Gabbana dress, this is Asos, and we can be ladylike also with a low cost dress, and nicely vintage with a red rose in our hair and a new Dixie necklace, present from my mother, fashion lover and dedicated reader of this fashion blog !.

La stampa a rose è uno dei trend più in voga per la primavera, come vi ho detto un paio di post fa. Il mio nuovo outfit mi vede indossare proprio un abito con stampa rose e baschina di Asos che attendeva nel mio armadio da tempo. Questo vestito di media lunghezza ha un taglio che si ispira agli anni '40, con una gonna stretta e dritta, molto femminile, e mi è venuto spontaneo abbinarlo alle décolletée ed a una borsa strutturata come la Givenchy Antigona. Un look che mi ricorda i miei adorati vecchi film di Hollywood ed uno stile classico che ha ispirato tanti stilisti contemporanei, specialmente Dolce & Gabbana, casualmente capita proprio nei giorni in cui c'è una polemica in atto su di loro a causa di una controversa intervista su Panorama che ha addirittura portato Sir Elton John ad invitare a boicottarli, ma questa è un'altra storia, a me piace solo la loro moda. Questo comunque non è un abito Dolce & Gabbana, è un Asos, e si può essere ladylike anche con un abito relativamente low cost, e deliziosamente retrò con una rosa rossa tra i capelli ed una nuova collana Dixie, regalo della mia mamma, appassionata di moda e lettrice di questo fashion blog !.

Hello, everyone ! It's time for the first outfit of march, featuring a Blumarine black leather fringe skirt matched to an orangey red H&M blouse with three quarter sleeves. Fringes are going to be a hot trend also for Spring/Summer, and I love them in this slightly urban version. I love this skirt: it has the perfect length, above the knee, and its simple pencil cut together with the fringed hemline make it fun and sleek at the same time. My new Miu Miu tote bag, that I actually bought for office - great to carry papers and a bag roomy enough to fit my macbook air, it is so stylish that it can be carried everywhere. For this outfit, I chose my Icone cut out heels, and got to wore my new ray-ban sunglasses found on SunglassesShop Italia. I couldn't help adding a statement necklace from Bijou Brigitte, for an additional color injection !.

Ciao a tutti ! E' il momento del primo outfit di marzo, con una gonna in pelle nera a frange di Blumarine, abbinata ad una blusa di un rosso aranciato H&M, con maniche a tre quarti. Le frange saranno un trend molto caldo anche per la Primavera/Estate, ed io le amo in questa versione un po' urban. Adoro questa gonna: ha la lunghezza perfetta, corta ma non troppo, ed il suo semplice taglio a tubino, insieme al bordo frangiato la rende esclusiva e divertente al tempo stesso. La nuova borsa shopper Miu Miu è stata acquistata da me per l'ufficio, comodissima per le carte e, cosa importantissima, è una borsa abbastanza grande anche per portare il macbook air all'occorrenza, così bella che può essere sfoggiata ovunque. Per questo outfit ho scelto di calzare le scarpe cut out di Icone, ed i miei nuovi occhiali da sole ray-ban trovati su SunglassesShop Italia, negozio specializzato nella vendita di occhiali da sole online. Ciao a tutti e buon Sabato ! Io lo trascorrerò facendo un po' di shopping, alla caccia di accessori per la Primavera. Nel frattempo, eccovi un piccolo post outfit che riguarda uno dei trend più hot dell'Inverno, presentato in tutte le salse da molte fashion blogger: l'ecopelliccia. Mio marito - ve lo avevo già detto e lo ribadisco - non vede l'ora che l'inverno finisca proprio perché non ne va affatto matto, ma io adoro ed ho una nutrita collezione di pellicciotti !. Come indossare l'ecopelliccia è una domanda che per me può trovare diverse risposte: divertitevi indossando la vostra giacca in falsa pelliccia o, come nel mio caso, anche con una felpa con inserti in pelliccia !. Il mio modo preferito di indossare un pellicciotto penso sia quello casual, abbinate ad un bel paio di jeans ed è fatta, ma l'ecopelliccia può essere anche molto elegante con un abito o una gonna. After a few outfits in other colors, I go back to my beloved royal blue with this midi circle skirt with side pockets in scuba fabric, bought on Asos some time ago. As most of you already know, I love to play with colors, and I thought about adding some more blue with this oversized Paola Frani hairy wool turtleneck sweater. I added a couple of statement pieces, like this beautiful tassel necklace and my colorful Zara belt. The add of my Givenchy Antigona bag in small size, a pair of high heel bicolor suede ankle boots and, on my lips, my new MAC Carmine Rouge lipstick, from the Prabal Gurung collection, completed this very feminine look.

Dopo qualche outfit in altri colori, torno al mio adorato blu cobalto con questa gonna a ruota midi con tasche laterali in tessuto scuba, acquisto fatto su Asos un po' di tempo addietro. Come molti di voi già sapranno, adoro giocare con i colori, così ho pensato di aggiungere altro blu con questo maglione a collo alto in lana pelosa, dal taglio oversize, Paola Frani. Ho impreziosito il tutto con degli accessori particolari, come una stupenda collana con nappe e la mia coloratissima cintura Zara. La borsa Givenchy Antigona in misura small, un paio di stivaletti in camoscio bicolore dal tacco altissimo e, sulle labbra, il mio nuovo rossetto MAC Carmine Rouge, dalla collezione Prabal Gurung, hanno completato questo look iper femminile.

Hey everyone ! How are you doing ? Today I want to show you an outfit with one of my favorite piece of clothing for this Spring/Summer: my mint midi tulle skirt !. As you probably know already, tulle skirts are a hot trend this year, and this gives us a chance to wear something so romantic and girly everyday. I must confess when I went out with this attire, I felt the admiration from kids staring at me in the streets, and it put me in a good mood, because after all we are all entitled to live our own fairytale, don't you think ? And dressing up like a princess can be a good start, LOL !.

I matched this cute grey top with a checked midi skirt with side pockets, and added my personal touch with a statement hat.

I love to wear colors, especially to bright up a cold, gloomy day. In this new outfit post, we have two of my favorite colors ever, red and cobalt blue, in a layered look featuring my eco shearling jacket, a midi skirt and a beanie.

I had been looking for the right blue benie for quite a long time, I finally found it and it was even on sale ! I couldn't be happier and, as ever, I couldn't wait to sport my new purchase...I am not famous for being a very patient ;)

Amo indossare colori, specialmente per illuminare una fredda e grigia giornata invernale. In questo nuovo post outfit, abbiamo due dei miei colori preferiti in assoluto: il rosso e il blu cobalto, in un look "a strati" che ha come protagonisti una giacca in shearling ecologico, una gonna midi ed un beanie.

I have been decorating my flat with pumpkins and spooky candles, but I don't know yet whether I am gonna get dressed for Halloween, after all since I don't care about people staring I can dress up in a weird way anytime, LOL !. This time, anyway, let me show you a new, rather classic outfit, featuring a baroque print dress and my burgundy ankle boots. This look has a vintage vibe also thanks to my brand new tortoise frame Firmoo sunglasses !.

Ciao a tutti, vi state preparando per Halloween ? Io ho decorato casa con zucche e candele a tema, ma non so ancora se mi vestirò appositamente per Halloween, dopotutto siccome non mi importa degli sguardi della gente riesco a conciarmi in modo strano in qualsiasi periodo dell'anno, LOL !. Oggi però vi voglio mostrare un nuovo outfit dal mood abbastanza classico, incentrato su un abito dalla stampa barocca e stivaletti bordeaux. Questo look ha un sapore vintage, anche grazie ai miei nuovi occhiali con montatura tartaruga Firmoo !.

How are you all ?  I really can't wait to be on holidays, it seems all the people I know are on vacation, instead I am still stuck up at work...I keep getting invited to parties and cocktails and I am happy to go, but I feel terribly tired the day after !. Anyway, I am really happy to go to a party, especially when I have a new dress to sport, like this lovely black floral beaded Regina from Chi Chi London ! Isn't it super cute ?.

Come state ? Io sono davvero impaziente di andarmene in ferie, sembra che ci siano già andati tutti tranne me...continuo a ricevere inviti a feste e a cocktails e sono ben felice di andarci, ma mi sento terribilmente stanca il giorno dopo, dovendo andare a lavorare !. I've always been very attracted by prints, and when I saw this paisley print dress on Asos I thought it would be so nice to wear, I loved its colors and also the easy shape. This little daytime dress was enough to make me feel like using my Marc by Marc Jacobs bag again, I had been neglecting it for quite a long time now, and I found out also this bag can be a bag for all seasons !.

Sono sempre molto attratta dalle stampe, e quando ho visto questo abitino a motivo cachemire sul sito di Asos, ho subito pensato che sarebbe stato carino da indossare, sia per i colori che per la forma morbida e facile. Questo abito da giorno è stato capace di farmi tornare la voglia di usare la mia borsa Marc by Marc Jacobs che avevo trascurato da un po' e ho constatato che anche questa borsa può essere una borsa per tutte le stagioni !.

They are around us. Everywhere. More and more often, it happens to bump into people looking a bit suspicious, walking pretty fastly in public gardens, on the beach or in the streets. Often, they are in a couple, a boy and a girl. They act like if they share a secret, and it seems other people are just annoying to them. It seems like those boys and girls can't wait to be alone, possibly to be in each other's arms, in beautiful places, narrow streets...do they share a love story ? They sure look kinda mysterious.

Suddenly, from under the guy's jacket  there is a reflex camera showing up...and she is opening her trench, only to reveal a statement outfit...After a first moment, it's not too hard to realize they are looking for a good spot to take pics, and that they have a blog, too ! It's the begging of a quest for the corner with the best light and the coolest background, and they are ready to fight for it using their reflex and her bag as swords ! She is posing like a pro and he's shooting like mad, they are a perfect team, only to turn into shy and embarassed lovers as soon as somebody passes by !.

Loro sono tra noi. Ovunque. Sempre più spesso, accade di imbattersi in persone dall'aria sospetta, che camminano velocemente nei giardini pubblici, al mare, o per la strada. Spesso, si tratta di coppie, un ragazzo e una ragazza. Si comportano come i depositari di un segreto, e come se le altre persone costituissero solo un impiccio. Sembra che la coppia non veda l'ora di trovarsi da sola, magari uno nelle braccia dell'altra, in posti belli, stradine strette...condividono una storia d'amore ? Hanno l'aria sicuramente misteriosa.

Improvvisamente, ecco da sotto il giubbotto del ragazzo spuntare una reflex...e lei si apre il trench, rivelando un eccentrico outfit...Dopo un primo momento, non è difficile capire che sono lì per trovare un buon posto per fare foto, perché anche loro hanno un blog ! Inizia la ricerca dell'angolo con la luce giusta e lo sfondo più cool, che può diventare conteso a colpi di reflex e di borsetta !. Lei posa come una professionista, lui scatta all'impazzata, sono un team perfetto, solo per tornare timidi e imbarazzati innamorati non appena qualcuno passi dalle loro parti !.

Flowers on my mini dress

Lately I've been sporting casual outfits and wearing jeans more than ever, but I am always happy when I can wear a cute dress, especially if it's flower printed like this one !.

I've focused on the blue details of the flower print and built the outfit around them, with my Balenciaga bag and suede pumps. Since the air was still kinda fresh, I added cotton tights with a matching color.

Ultimamente mi avete vista spesso con outfit sportivi e in jeans, ma sono sempre felice quando riesco ad indossare un abito carino, specialmente a stampa floreale come questo !.

Mi sono concentrata sui dettagli blu della stampa e ho costruito l'outfit intorno ad essi, con la mia Balenciaga e pumps scamosciate. Dato che l'aria era ancora bella fresca, ho indossato calze in leggero cotone dello stesso colore.

Rock mood: studs and spikes !

Here we are with a studded outfit. I was feeling in a rock mood so I took this sleeveless bodycon studded dress - another purchase from Asos - out of my closet and went for studs and spikes !.
Before going into the rock part, let me be a bit cheesy and sentimental...today is my beloved husband's birthday and I feel like wishing him a very happy birthday also from my blog !. After all, he's the one behind the photo camera, and he's the one waiting for me and also giving me advice during my very long shopping sessions...he's almost a Saint, LOL ! :-). I feel so blessed to have him into my life, cause he's a very special person and I can proudly say he's not only my lover, I am lucky enough to be married to my best friend !.

Eccoci con un outfit borchiato. Mi sentivo più "rock", così ho tolto dall'armadio questo abitino fasciante e borchiato - un altro dei miei tanti acquisti su Asos e ho scelto borchie e spuntoni !.
Prima di entrare nella parte rock del post, lasciatemi essere un po' stucchevole e sentimentale...oggi è il compleanno del mio adorato maritino e mi sento di augurargli buon compleanno anche dal blog !. Dopotutto, c'è lui dietro la macchina fotografica ed è anche colui che mi aspetta e consiglia nelle mie lunghe sessioni di shopping...praticamente, quasi un Santo, ahahah :-). Mi sento fortunata ad averlo nella mia vita perché è una persona molto speciale e posso dire con orgoglio che lui non è solo il mio amore, ho anche la fortuna di essere sposata al mio migliore amico !.

I matched this studded black dress with my new spiked ankle boots I bought at Icone. I love them so much ! I think they can add a rock vibe to many outfits, next time I will try them with skinny jeans.
We see so many spiked and studded shoes around, I liked these ones because they are original and bold without being too much. You can see them better in the pic below !.

Ho abbinato questo abito nero borchiato con i miei nuovi tronchetti presi da Icone. Li adoro ! Penso che aggiungano un tocco rock a molti outfit, la prossima volta li proverò con dei jeans skinny.
Si vedono tante scarpe e stivali con borchie o punte in giro, a me sono piaciuti questi tronchetti perché li trovo particolari senza essere troppo eccessivi. Potete vederli in dettaglio nella foto sottostante !.

I decided to use my Balenciaga classic work bag with this outfit because I couldn't use more studs, and simple black leather can't be wrong !.
Weather was warm enough to take my jacket off without suffering the cold !. As most of you will imagine, being a fashion blogger is not that easy during the winter...shooting pics when it's very cold leads to feeling sick afterwards...and even tho I love blogging, I prefer being healthy ! :-).

Ho scelto di usare la Balenciaga classic work per questo outfit perché non avrei potuto aggiungere altre borchie, e non potevo sbagliare con la semplice pelle nera ;-). Il tempo era caldo abbastanza da poter togliere la giacca senza patire il freddo !. Come molti di voi immagineranno, essere una fashion blogger non è tanto facile in inverno...scattare foto nel freddo estremo porta a sentirsi male dopo...e sebbene io ami bloggare, preferisco restare in salute ! :-).

Street style: green !

It is very hard for me to go out of Zara without buying anything. The dress you see in these pics was a total unexpected purchase I did a few weeks ago. I fell in love with the simple cut, the mixture of green, blue and taupe colors and the lace back (don't think it's visible from the pics, but it has a white lace back).
A perfect dress for a walk in the afternoon, spotting new items for the Fall ! All those forest green, mustard and burgundy clothes are already haunting my shopping dreams ! I love the colors of Fall and I think I can also wear this little dress later in time with a long cardi, heavy tights and boots !.

E' sempre difficile per me entrare da Zara senza comprare nulla. L'abito che vedete in queste foto è stato un acquisto totalmente non programmato fatto alcune settimane fa. Mi sono innamorata del taglio semplice, della stampa a diverse tonalità di verde, taupe e blu e dell'inserto in pizzo sulla schiena (non credo sia visibile dalle foto ma ha la schiena in pizzo bianco).
Un abito perfetto per una passeggiata pomeridiana tra i negozi, tra le novità per l'autunno ! Tutti quegli abiti color verde foresta, senape e bordeaux stanno già popolando i miei sogni di shopping !. Amo i colori autunnali e credo proprio che indosserò ancora questo abitino anche più avanti con un lungo cardigan, calze coprenti e stivali !.

The sandals are from Icone, you can see the details in the pic below. They are very comfy !. I matched them with my Miu Miu green tote that has been my loyal companion for many shopping sprees and that carries a lot of weight, including my beloved Ipad !.

Speaking about heavy bags, I am looking for a small crossbody bag because I haven't got many, the main reason is that everytime I approach a designer bag and it's small I feel guilty because I know I would not wear it more than a couple of times...I prefer large bags because I use to carry a lot of things with me.
I think I have to find a good compromise, it has to be small but not too much and also the price can't be the same of the large version...otherwise I will end up buying the big one, I know myself !. Do you have any advice on a small, beautiful bag besides "buy a Chanel 2.55" ? ;-).

Parlando di borse pesanti, sto cercando una piccola borsa da portare a tracolla perché non ne ho tante, la ragione principale è che ogni volta che mi avvicino ad una borsa piccola di un certo livello mi sento in colpa perché so che non la porterei più di qualche volta...preferisco le borse grandi perché sono solita portarmi dietro di tutto !.
Devo trovare un buon compromesso, una borsa piccola ma non troppo e anche dal prezzo più conveniente della versione grande...altrimenti so che finirò per comprare quella grande, mi conosco !. Avete qualche consiglio su una bella borsa dalle dimensioni ridotte a parte "compra una Chanel 2.55" ? ;-).

Peach sequin dress

The first August post is dedicated to...pink color ! It's not a secret I am a lover of pink, just look at my blog...and I especially love the shade of peach of this sequin dress from H&M. This soft color is almost a naked one makes sequins more suitable even for daytime, sparkly without being too much !. Non that being too much ever worried me anyway :-P.

Il primo post di Agosto è dedicato al rosa ! Non è un segreto che io ami questo colore, basta dare un'occhiata al mio blog...e mi piace particolarmente la tonalità pesca di questo abito di paillettes di H&M. Questo colore tenue e quasi neutro rende le paillettes più adatte anche al giorno, scintillante senza troppe esagerazioni !. Non che esagerare mi abbia mai preoccupata, comunque :-P.

I added a statement necklace, the one from Sodini I had already showed you, and I decided to go for my Icone pumps, they're high heeled but very comfy and even tho they are sparkly too, they have something in common with the dress: their color is different but it's a soft shade, as well.

Ho aggiunto una collana importante, quella di Sodini che vi avevo già mostrato, e ho deciso di calzare le mie pumps di Icone, dal tacco alto ma molto comode e, sebbene preziose, anche esse discrete grazie alla tonalità delicata.

Since I am in a pink mood, I wanted to show you a pic of our room in the Don Alfonso Relais et Chateaux hotel last month, I was so in love with the whole place cause it was flawless and...it was all pink ! Wasn't it lovely ?.
