Heart sweater for Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's day, everyone, from me, Valentina ;). This is a day to celebrate love in many ways, love for your partner, for your friends and family, your pets, for yourself, for life !. I am going to a romantic dinner with hubby later this evening, we make sure we show each other love with tiny gestures every day, so this is just another chance to spend a different evening together, plus...it's my name day !. How are you going to spend this day ?. 

Tonight is gonna be a night for fancy dressed and heels, but I decided to postpone an elegant outfit and to show you a layered, more casual outfit, featuring a Valentine's themed sweater, because what would this day be without a big, red heart ?.

Buon San Valentino a tutti da me, Valentina ;). Considero questa festa una celebrazione dell'amore, che sia per il partner, per gli amici e la famiglia, per i vostri animali domestici, per voi stessi, per la vita !. Stasera io e il maritino ci concederemo una cenetta romantica, ovviamente facciamo in modo di dimostrarci ciò che proviamo ogni giorno con piccoli gesti, è solo un'occasione per passare una serata diversa insieme, inoltre...oggi è anche il mio onomastico !. 

Voi come trascorrerete questa giornata ?. Questa sera sarà un tripudio di abitini eleganti e tacchi e io ho deciso di rimandare l'outfit elegante per mostrarvi un look più casual, "a strati" con maglione a tema San Valentino, perché dopotutto cosa sarebbe una festa così senza un grande e rosso cuore ?.

Burgundy ankle boots

Hello everyone, are you getting ready for Halloween ? I have been decorating my flat with pumpkins and spooky candles, but I don't know yet whether I am gonna get dressed for Halloween, after all since I don't care about people staring I can dress up in a weird way anytime, LOL !. This time, anyway, let me show you a new, rather classic outfit, featuring a baroque print dress and my burgundy ankle boots. This look has a vintage vibe also thanks to my brand new tortoise frame Firmoo sunglasses !.

Ciao a tutti, vi state preparando per Halloween ? Io ho decorato casa con zucche e candele a tema, ma non so ancora se mi vestirò appositamente per Halloween, dopotutto siccome non mi importa degli sguardi della gente riesco a conciarmi in modo strano in qualsiasi periodo dell'anno, LOL !. Oggi però vi voglio mostrare un nuovo outfit dal mood abbastanza classico, incentrato su un abito dalla stampa barocca e stivaletti bordeaux. Questo look ha un sapore vintage, anche grazie ai miei nuovi occhiali con montatura tartaruga Firmoo !.

Urban gypsy style

Did it ever happen to you to put an outfit together without thinking too much, matching different fabrics and colors with the inner feeling that the whole thing works so well together ? It happened to me with this look that I would define "urban gypsy" style, featuring a yellow maxi skirt and a few statement pieces, including an ethnic print jacket. Prepare yourself because this post is going to be as layered as my outfit !.

Vi è mai capitato di mettere insieme i capi di un outfit senza pensarci troppo, abbinando stoffe e colori diversi con la precisa sensazione che l'intero insieme possa andare, per qualche motivo, bene insieme ? A me è successo con questo look che definirei "urban gypsy", incentrato su una maxi gonna gialla e alcuni pezzi importanti, giacca a stampa etnica inclusa. Preparatevi, perché questo post è stratificato quanto il mio outfit !.

Paisley print satin dress

Sometimes you end up falling in love with dresses that aren't that easy to wear, just like this one: short, in a light satin fabric that seems to move and wrinkle at any little movement, with a weird cut on the shoulders. Then, you look at the dress twice and you decide you'll buy it because you like it too much to leave it, because of the colors and because, being a statement piece, it's also a sort of challenge with yourself. 

This is what happened to me with this mini dress I bought last Spring in Riccione at Nina Ademar shop. The colors and the fun paisley print convinced me to buy it, I ended up wearing this 60s style satin dress in a hot and windy summer evening, during my holiday in Sorrento.

A volte capita di innamorarti di un abito non così facile da portare, proprio come questo: corto, in tessuto leggero di raso che sembra muoversi e stropicciarsi ad ogni piccolo movimento, con un taglio strano sulle spalle. Poi, lo guardi un'altra volta e decidi che lo comprerai perché ti piace troppo per lasciarlo lì, per i bei colori e perché essendo particolare è anche una sorta di sfida personale. 

Questo è quanto mi è successo con questo mini vestito comprato la scorsa primavera a Riccione, da Nina Ademar. I colori e la fantasia jacquard mi hanno convinta a farlo mio e ho finito per indossare questo abitino in raso stile anni '60 in una calda e ventosa sera d'estate, durante la mia vacanza a Sorrento.

Azure panama hat

Hello everyone, what are you up to ? I got back to work, therefore this post is making me a bit nostalgic...even if it happened only a few days ago, I know the beautiful feeling of being on holidays fades away pretty quickly !. Yes, it was only last week when I was in this wonderful place, where the sea meets the sky, and was enjoying the colors, the perfumes and the food of the beautiful Nerano coast. 

Ciao a tutti, che mi raccontate di bello ? Io sono rientrata al lavoro, pertanto questo post mi mette un po' di nostalgia...anche se sono passati pochi giorni, la bella sensazione di essere in vacanza svanisce troppo velocemente ! Sì, era solo la settimana scorsa quando mi trovavo in questo splendido luogo, dove il cielo incontra il mare, e mi godevo i colori, i profumi ed il cibo della bella costa di Nerano. 

Graffiti dress

I have always been pretty fascinated by large graffiti walls and street art in general, so I couldn't help adding this midi bodycon dress featuring a graffiti print to my not really plain and boring closet. I love its vibrant colors and it puts me in a summer holiday mood straight away. I should be banned from Asos website, since everytime I browse it, I end up buying something, I buy so often that the courier and I became good friends, LOL !

Sono sempre stata molto affascinata dai muri pieni di graffiti e dall'arte di strada in generale, così non ho potuto fare a meno di accogliere questo abito aderente di media lunghezza con la stampa graffiti nel mio sicuramente non sobrio o noioso guardaroba. Mi piacciono i suoi colori vividi e mi fa entrare subito in modalità vacanze estive. Dovrei essere bannata da Asos, ogni volta che visito il sito finisco per comprare qualcosa e compro così spesso che ormai io e il corriere abbiamo fatto amicizia, LOL !.
