Hello, everyone ! It's time for the first outfit of march, featuring a Blumarine black leather fringe skirt matched to an orangey red H&M blouse with three quarter sleeves. Fringes are going to be a hot trend also for Spring/Summer, and I love them in this slightly urban version. I love this skirt: it has the perfect length, above the knee, and its simple pencil cut together with the fringed hemline make it fun and sleek at the same time. My new Miu Miu tote bag, that I actually bought for office - great to carry papers and a bag roomy enough to fit my macbook air, it is so stylish that it can be carried everywhere. For this outfit, I chose my Icone cut out heels, and got to wore my new ray-ban sunglasses found on SunglassesShop Italia. I couldn't help adding a statement necklace from Bijou Brigitte, for an additional color injection !.

Gonna in pelle con orlo sfrangiato Blumarine e borsa Miu Miu

Ciao a tutti ! E' il momento del primo outfit di marzo, con una gonna in pelle nera a frange di Blumarine, abbinata ad una blusa di un rosso aranciato H&M, con maniche a tre quarti. Le frange saranno un trend molto caldo anche per la Primavera/Estate, ed io le amo in questa versione un po' urban. Adoro questa gonna: ha la lunghezza perfetta, corta ma non troppo, ed il suo semplice taglio a tubino, insieme al bordo frangiato la rende esclusiva e divertente al tempo stesso. La nuova borsa shopper Miu Miu è stata acquistata da me per l'ufficio, comodissima per le carte e, cosa importantissima, è una borsa abbastanza grande anche per portare il macbook air all'occorrenza, così bella che può essere sfoggiata ovunque. Per questo outfit ho scelto di calzare le scarpe cut out di Icone, ed i miei nuovi occhiali da sole ray-ban trovati su SunglassesShop Italia, negozio specializzato nella vendita di occhiali da sole online. Non ho resistito ad aggiungere una statement necklace Bijou Brigitte, per una ulteriore iniezione di colore !.

Leather mini skirt, metallic finish sweater

Hi, everyone ! How are you doing ? I think my way of dressing is really influenced by my mood, but sometimes I happen to dress in order to change my mood of the day. I wanted to feel bold and fierce the other day, and went for something more aggressive, like a mini skirt with leather panels and matching boots with stiletto heels I found at Le Silla shop. As a top, I went for a beautiful metallic finish wool jumper in petrol color I bought at H&M. This kind of fabric with metallic reflex is a hot trend this year.The outfit became a bit futuristic thanks to my Vitti Ferria Contin geometric necklace and bracelet, and I added a touch of classic with my Gucci vintage web boston bag, an evergreen. 

Ciao a tutti, come state ? Il mio modo di vestire è profondamente influenzato dall'umore del momento, ma accade anche il contrario, ovvero che io mi vesta cercando di cambiare il mio attuale stato d'animo.

Volevo sentirmi sicura di me e un po' aggressiva, pertanto ho scelto di indossare una minigonna con pannelli in pelle e stivali con tacco a spillo nello stesso stile, scovati nello shop Le Silla. Come top, ho scelto un bel maglione in lana effetto spalmato in color petrolio che ho comprato da H&M. Questo tipo di tessuto dai riflessi metallici è molto di moda per quest'anno. L'outfit è diventato più futuristico grazie agli splendidi gioielli Vitti Ferria Contin, ovvero collana e bracciale, ed ho aggiunto un tocco di classico con il bauletto Gucci vintage web, che è un evergreen.

Red lips...and tongue !

The weekend is here and I couldn't be happier ! It means relax, good movies, good times, after a very hectic and intense week. A new month is here, and since February is shorter I decided to postpone my February recap to the next post, I wanna show you something new today, my mood is rock and relaxed like this outfit, dominated by black and red combo, wearing a red lip color and red lips and tongue on my scarf and on my maxi sweater from Persunmall. 

Il weekend è arrivato, finalmente, non potrei esserne più felice ! Finalmente, relax, buoni film, divertimento dopo una settimana molto intensa. Un nuovo mese è già arrivato e siccome Febbraio è più corto ho deciso di posticipare il riepilogo dei miei look del mese precedente al prossimo post, oggi voglio mostrarvi qualcosa di nuovo: oggi mi sento del mood giusto per un outfit rilassato ma rock, dominato dallla combinazione di colori nero e rosso, con labbra scarlatte e lingua anche sulla sciarpa e sulla maxi maglia di Persunmall.

A simple look: less is more !

You are not used to seeing me like that, just a few simple, basic pieces of clothing and in an almost total black look with just a touch of light grey. Well, you know how much I love to change, and today's look is more "sober", because sometimes simplicity is good ! This time, less is more. To be taken in small doses like a medecine, in my case, ahahah :)

Non siete abituati a vedermi così, con pochi, semplici capi base ed in un look che mette da parte il colore in favore del quasi total black, spezzato solo da un tocco di grigio chiaro. Beh, sapete però quanto io ami cambiare stile, ed il look di oggi è più "sobrio", perché a volte anche la semplicità è bella ! Questa volta, meno è meglio. Nel mio caso, ovviamente, è da prendere in piccole dosi, come una medicina, ahahah :)

I love to wear colors, especially to bright up a cold, gloomy day. In this new outfit post, we have two of my favorite colors ever, red and cobalt blue, in a layered look featuring my eco shearling jacket, a midi skirt and a beanie.

I had been looking for the right blue benie for quite a long time, I finally found it and it was even on sale ! I couldn't be happier and, as ever, I couldn't wait to sport my new purchase...I am not famous for being a very patient ;)

Amo indossare colori, specialmente per illuminare una fredda e grigia giornata invernale. In questo nuovo post outfit, abbiamo due dei miei colori preferiti in assoluto: il rosso e il blu cobalto, in un look "a strati" che ha come protagonisti una giacca in shearling ecologico, una gonna midi ed un beanie.

Cercavo da tempo un bel beanie blue elettrico, e l'ho finalmente trovato, oltretutto in saldo ! Non potevo che esserne più contenta e, come mi capita ogni volta, non vedevo l'ora di sfoggiarlo, non essendo io di certo famosa per la proverbiale pazienza, anzi ;).

Hey everyone ! Mondays can be a shock, but I wish you a wonderful start of the week ! First of all, today is a bit special to me because it's Fashion and Cookies' third birthday ! Three years already, time does fly and I wanna thank you for your continuous support to this blog. 

To celebrate this third birthday I want to show you a pretty elegant and feminine outfit, based on two colors: burgundy, like this lovely Carven dress, and black, like my faux fur coat.

Prima di tutto, per me oggi è un giorno un po' speciale perché è il terzo compleanno di Fashion and Cookies ! Già tre anni, il tempo vola e vi ringrazio per il sostegno continuo che date a questo blog. 

Per festeggiare questo terzo compleanno vi voglio mostrare un outfit elegante e femminile, basato essenzialmente su due colori: bordeaux, come questo adorabile abitino Carven, e nero come la mia ecopelliccia.

Lately I've been having so much fun with casual outfits, also because casual wear easily allows me to play with a lot of different clothes and accessories, just as I like it. Casual doesn't mean shabby, I think it just means freedom to express myself and to play with fashion without rules and formalities. Surely, sneakers have an important role in casual wear, and my new Ruco Line cobalt blue sneakers were the starting point for this blue centered look. Here we are with my quality, beautiful sneakers that are both pretty and very comfortable, produced by an italian brand I've been knowing for years and that I have always been a fan of.  

Ultimamente mi sto divertendo più del solito a vestirmi casual, anche perché look più sportivi mi permettono maggiormente di giocare con diversi capi ed accessori, proprio come piace a me. Casual non vuol dire affatto trasandatezza, per me vuol dire libertà di espressione e di giocare con la moda senza troppe regole e formalismi. Sicuramente, un ruolo importante in questo tipo di look lo giocano le sneakers, e proprio le mie nuove sneakers Ruco Line blu cobalto sono state il punto di partenza per questo outfit nei toni del blu. Eccovi dunque le mie sneakers di qualità, molto belle e anche molto comode, prodotte da un brand italiano che conosco da anni e che mi è sempre piaciuto.

Go punk with plaid pants

Hey everyone ! As you can see, my plaid obsession goes on, and this time I want to show you an outfit that features plaid pants...this is probably the most extreme tartan piece of clothing I own. I decided to wear them with a hat and studded shoes, in this british-punk inspired look.

A comfortable and fun outfit I sported to a local chestnuts fair, with pics luckily shot before I started eating chestnuts like if there was no tomorrow, LOL !.

Come potete vedere, la mia ossessione per il tartan continua, questa volta vi voglio mostrare un outfit basato su pantaloni scozzesi, probabilmente il capo in tartan più estremo che possiedo. Ho deciso di indossarli con cappello e scarpe borchiate, per un look di ispirazione british-punk. 

Un outfit comodo e divertente che ho sfoggiato ad una fiera della castagna, con foto scattate (per fortuna) prima che cominciassi a mangiare castagne come se non ci fosse un domani, LOL !.

Bad hair day beanie

Can you just imagine one of those days when you feel too lazy to dress up, and moreover you're having a bad hair day ? It's the kind of day when, if you go out, you'll surely bump into an old enemy of yours, or an exm, or someone you want to impress. 

Well, in days like these you'll better have your best friend with you - aka, one of your most treasured bags, the one you dreamt of for a long time - and a "who cares" attitude. A day like that will even turn into a good one if you'll be wearing at least one out of two must haves of this season: the "bad hair day" beanie and...a coatigan !.

Potete immaginare una di quelle giornate in cui vi siete svegliati senza voglia di vestirvi per bene, ed inoltre i vostri capelli non ne vogliono sapere di sistemarsi, ovvero state avendo un caso di "bad hair day" da manuale ? E' il genere di giornata in cui, se uscirete, finirete per incontrare una vostra nemica di lunga data, o l'ex che vi ha spezzato il cuore anni addietro o, peggio, qualcuno su cui volevate fare colpo.

Beh, in giornate come questa, farete meglio ad uscire accompagnate dalla vostra migliore amica - ovvero, una delle vostre borse preferite, quella sognata e finalmente vostra - ed un atteggiamento da "chissenefrega". Una giornata simile potrebbe persino rivelarsi divertente, indossando almeno uno dei due must have di questa stagione: il cappellino "bad hair day" e...un coatigan !.

That's good news for me, because I love this trend, both with bright colors and a casual mood and also in a black and white, more "ladylike", version. This is the kind of dresses I prefer: not too short, not too long, clean cut, easy to wear for daytime, even in the office. Since my life (and therefore, blog) is in technicolor, I couldn't help adding touches of red to this look !.

E' una ottima notizia per me, perché amo questo trend, sia con colori vivaci e versione casual che in una declinazione in bianco e nero, più chic. Questo negozio online ha tante belle cose a prezzi veramente accessibili !. Questo è il tipo di abitino che preferisco: non troppo corto, né troppo lungo, dal taglio pulito, facile da indossare il giorno, adatto persino in ufficio. Dato che la mia vita (e, di conseguenza, il mio blog) è in technicolor, non sono proprio riuscita ad evitare di aggiungere tocchi di rosso a questo look !.

I got back to work, therefore this post is making me a bit nostalgic...even if it happened only a few days ago, I know the beautiful feeling of being on holidays fades away pretty quickly !. Hello guys ! I am really pleased to let you know that beginning today, I'll be on vacation all next week ! Not much, but it's enough to try and recharge my own personal battieries. To start these days in a relaxed mood, we have a casual outfit post, featuring one of the hottest trends of the moment: the number print t-shirt, for a sporty chic look. The basic rules for these tees are: they have a printed number on the front, just like football or basketball players tees, they're larger than average (pick a larger size to make it look as if you stole it from your boyfriend's closet) and you are supposed to mix them up with something extremely feminine, just like high heels and a clutch, like I did.

Ciao a tutti ! Sono lieta di informarvi che, a cominciare da oggi, sarò in ferie per tutta la prossima settimana ! Non tantissimo, ma abbastanza per tentare di ricaricare le mie personalissime batterie. Per iniziare queste giornate con un mood rilassato, ecco un outfit post casual, incentrato su uno dei trend del momento: la maglia con numero stampato, per un look sporty chic. Le regole di base per queste maglie sono: hanno un numero stampato sul davanti, proprio come le maglie dei giocatori di football o basket, sono più larghe del solito (sceglietene una di una taglia più grande per far sembrare come se l'aveste rubata dall'armadio del vostro ragazzo) e andrebbero indossate con qualcosa di estremamente femminile, come i tacchi alti ed una clutch, come nel mio caso.

How to save a day of holiday when most of the clothes you took when you packed were meant for a warmer day, and it still feels like winter ? Try with a statement coat ! This is what I did on Easter day in Sorrento, when I opted for my leopard print coat on a cobalt blue mini dress.

I was freezing anyway and the wind was chilly and you get to see my face only cause I opted for tied up hair - take that, wind !.

Come salvare una giornata di vacanza quando la maggior parte dei vestiti messi in valigia sono adatti ad una giornata più calda e invece sembra di essere ancora in inverno ? Un'idea può essere "buttarsi" su un cappottino particolare !. Questo è ciò che ho fatto nel giorno di Pasqua a Sorrento, quanto ho scelto di indossare il mio cappottino leopardato su un mini abito blu cobalto.

Faceva comunque tanto freddo e il vento soffiava con energia, tanto è che la decisione di legare i capelli si è rivelata vincente, se non altro per non avere troppi fastidi !.

Leopard coat, dark lips

Leopard print, love it or hate it. There's no doubt that I love it, and when this leopard print coat from Zara forced me to buy it (yes, cause leopard print clothes have this power, you can listen to them whispering from the shop racks sometimes) I could only obey. Since this coat is not woolen and it's a light weight I had the chance to wear it straight away in a very sunny (but windy) day.

Stampa animalier, si ama o si odia. Non vi sono dubbi sul fatto che io la ami, e quando questo cappottino leopardato di Zara mi ha praticamente costretto a comprarlo (sì, perché gli abiti leopardati hanno questo potere, li potete sentire sussurrare dagli scaffali a volte) ho potuto solo obbedire. Siccome il cappottino è leggero, ho potuto indossarlo subito in una giornata molto soleggiata (e ventosa).

In these pics I am trying the dark lips trend wearing Chanel Rouge Allure n. 109 - rouge noir lipstick. I also have n. 108 but this is beyond dark !.
This is not my usual shade of lipstick, it's very dark, but it's nice for a change !. I have to say I am never disappointed with Chanel Rouge Allure lipsticks, they are very soft on my lips and are longlasting without making my lips too dry. This is surely a very bold color, not for everyday use, but I think it's a classy shade. Have you bought a dark lipstick too ?.

In queste foto sono in linea con il trend labbra scure con il rossetto Chanel Rouge Allure n. 109 - rouge noir. Ho anche il n. 108 ma con questo si va oltre !.
Sicuramente non è la mia solita tonalità di rossetto, è molto scura, ma è bello cambiare !. Devo dire che la serie Rouge Allure di Chanel non mi delude mai, i rossetti di questa linea sono molto morbidi e durano tanto senza però seccare le labbra. Questo è un colore dalla forte personalità, non adatto a tutti i giorni, ma credo sia una tonalità chic. Avete comprato un rossetto dark anche voi ?.

Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses

Pointed heels are back and they're growing on me again, especially in the form of these ankle boots from Cesare Paciotti. I am a fan of his ultra feminine and a bit fetish inspired shoes. These ankle boots are a new entry and with their high stilettos and black leather strings they give a bolder vibe to the look. I think this look would be cool also with bikers or flats, I think I will try that next time too.

Le scarpe a punta sono tornate e devo dire che molti modelli mi piacciono di nuovo, specialmente se sono come questi tronchetti di Cesare Paciotti. Sono una fan delle sue scarpe ultra femminili e anche un po' di ispirazione fetish. Questi ankle boots sono una new entry e con i loro tacchi a spillo altissimi e stringhe in pelle nera rendono il look più aggressivo. Credo che questo outfit sarebbe carino anche con dei bikers o delle scarpe basse, magari lo proverò anche in quell'altra versione.

I went for a simple jeans (from Lerock) and sweater underneath because the coat is already an eye catching item. The sweater is from Stradivarius and it has studded shoulders and the burgundy turtleneck is from H&M.
Sunnies are from Dolce & Gabbana and I have them also in burgundy color. I bought them also in this grey color because I love their opaque finish ;).

Ho optato per un semplice jeans (di Lerock) e pullover dato che già il cappotto si fa notare di suo. Il pull in cotone di Stradivarius ha borchie sulle spalle e il collo alto burgundy è di H&M.
Gli occhiali da sole sono di Dolce & Gabbana e li ho anche in burgundy. Li ho comprati anche in questo tono di grigio perché adoro la loro finitura opaca ;).

Not too casual: green pants !

In these days I've been shopping like crazy and most of my purchases, both from online stores and from shops in my town, are short dresses or skirts, but weirdly I've been wearing pants more often than ever. In these pics I am experimenting with new pants I bought at H&M, they come from the "divided" line. I love the color and the shape because they are not exagerately low waisted. Green is definately one of my fave colors and this color matches my Sodini necklace I had already showed you !.

In questi giorni ho fatto parecchio shopping e la maggior parte dei miei acquisti, sia provenienti da shop online che da negozi della mia città, hanno riguardato abitini e gonne, invece stranamente mi sto ritrovando ad indossare pantaloni più spesso del solito. In queste foto sto provando i miei nuovi pantaloni presi da da H&M nella sezione "divided". Mi piacciono il colore e il modello, non troppo a vita bassa. Il verde è sicuramente uno dei miei colori preferiti e quello di questi pantaloni si abbina perfettamente al verde della collana Sodini che vi avevo già mostrato !.

Celyn B leather jacket

I also had a jacket with me, a leather jacket from Celyn B. I love it and I would wear it all the time, with pants but also with long skirts !.
If I could choose, I'd want the weather to stay like this for several months...not too cold, not too hot...perfection ! This is what I call "leather jacket weather", it usually doesn't last for long...so I wanna enjoy it with more walks in open air !.
As the serial shopper I am, I have ended up buying these pants also in another color...guess it ! ;))

Avevo con me anche una giacca, un giubbino in pelle di Celyn B., un capo che adoro e che indosserei tutte le volte, con pantaloni ma anche con gonne lunghe !.
Se potessi scegliere, vorrei che il tempo restasse così per parecchi mesi...non troppo freddo, né troppo caldo...la perfezione ! Questo è proprio tempo da giacche in pelle, di solito non dura a lungo, per cui intendo godermelo facendo più passeggiate all'aria aperta !.
Da serial shopper quale sono, ho finito per comprare questi pantaloni anche in un altro colore...indovinatelo ! ;))

The highlights of my week so far have been:
1) going to the movies to see "The art of rap", a documentary film directed by Ice-T that takes us on a journey into the heart and soul of hip-hop with the legends of rap music. Maybe you didn't know I love hip-hop !. Has anyone else watched it ?
2) getting a cold...I've been sneezing and feeling a bit sick :(
3) sending out multiple orders on asos ! I seriously got addicted !
4) yelling at my Iphone because Instagram keeps making my phone crash...I can't wait to get myself an Iphone 5 ;)
5) being glad cause Gossip Girl is back and a bit sad because it's the last serie...ok, the plot is not the best one but it amuses me and keeps me entertained, sometimes it's enough !

I momenti clou della mia settimana fino ad oggi sono stati:
1) andare al cinema a vedere "The art of rap", un film documentario diretto da Ice-T che ci porta in un viaggio nel cuore e nell'anima dell'hip-hop con le leggende della musica rap. Forse non sapevate che amo l'hip-hop !. Voi lo avete visto ?
2) prendere il raffreddore...continuo a starnutire e mi sento abbastanza a pezzi :(
3) fare ordini multipli su asos ! Sono diventata dipendente !
4) insultare il mio Iphone perché Instagram lo fa andare in crash...non vedo l'ora di avere un Iphone 5 ;)
5) essere felice per il ritorno di Gossip Girl e anche un po' triste perché è l'ultima serie...ok, la scenneggiatura non è delle migliori ma mi diverte e mi intrattiene, a volte è abbastanza !

Street style: green !

It is very hard for me to go out of Zara without buying anything. The dress you see in these pics was a total unexpected purchase I did a few weeks ago. I fell in love with the simple cut, the mixture of green, blue and taupe colors and the lace back (don't think it's visible from the pics, but it has a white lace back).
A perfect dress for a walk in the afternoon, spotting new items for the Fall ! All those forest green, mustard and burgundy clothes are already haunting my shopping dreams ! I love the colors of Fall and I think I can also wear this little dress later in time with a long cardi, heavy tights and boots !.

E' sempre difficile per me entrare da Zara senza comprare nulla. L'abito che vedete in queste foto è stato un acquisto totalmente non programmato fatto alcune settimane fa. Mi sono innamorata del taglio semplice, della stampa a diverse tonalità di verde, taupe e blu e dell'inserto in pizzo sulla schiena (non credo sia visibile dalle foto ma ha la schiena in pizzo bianco).
Un abito perfetto per una passeggiata pomeridiana tra i negozi, tra le novità per l'autunno ! Tutti quegli abiti color verde foresta, senape e bordeaux stanno già popolando i miei sogni di shopping !. Amo i colori autunnali e credo proprio che indosserò ancora questo abitino anche più avanti con un lungo cardigan, calze coprenti e stivali !.

The sandals are from Icone, you can see the details in the pic below. They are very comfy !. I matched them with my Miu Miu green tote that has been my loyal companion for many shopping sprees and that carries a lot of weight, including my beloved Ipad !.

Speaking about heavy bags, I am looking for a small crossbody bag because I haven't got many, the main reason is that everytime I approach a designer bag and it's small I feel guilty because I know I would not wear it more than a couple of times...I prefer large bags because I use to carry a lot of things with me.
I think I have to find a good compromise, it has to be small but not too much and also the price can't be the same of the large version...otherwise I will end up buying the big one, I know myself !. Do you have any advice on a small, beautiful bag besides "buy a Chanel 2.55" ? ;-).

Parlando di borse pesanti, sto cercando una piccola borsa da portare a tracolla perché non ne ho tante, la ragione principale è che ogni volta che mi avvicino ad una borsa piccola di un certo livello mi sento in colpa perché so che non la porterei più di qualche volta...preferisco le borse grandi perché sono solita portarmi dietro di tutto !.
Devo trovare un buon compromesso, una borsa piccola ma non troppo e anche dal prezzo più conveniente della versione grande...altrimenti so che finirò per comprare quella grande, mi conosco !. Avete qualche consiglio su una bella borsa dalle dimensioni ridotte a parte "compra una Chanel 2.55" ? ;-).
