Go punk with plaid pants

Hey everyone ! As you can see, my plaid obsession goes on, and this time I want to show you an outfit that features plaid pants...this is probably the most extreme tartan piece of clothing I own. I decided to wear them with a hat and studded shoes, in this british-punk inspired look.

A comfortable and fun outfit I sported to a local chestnuts fair, with pics luckily shot before I started eating chestnuts like if there was no tomorrow, LOL !.

Come potete vedere, la mia ossessione per il tartan continua, questa volta vi voglio mostrare un outfit basato su pantaloni scozzesi, probabilmente il capo in tartan più estremo che possiedo. Ho deciso di indossarli con cappello e scarpe borchiate, per un look di ispirazione british-punk. 

Un outfit comodo e divertente che ho sfoggiato ad una fiera della castagna, con foto scattate (per fortuna) prima che cominciassi a mangiare castagne come se non ci fosse un domani, LOL !.

In the mood for plaid

Hello everyone ! Finally, the week is coming to an end...I can't wait for the weekend !.

This is the kind of look I like to sport for daytime on a Saturday, it's great for a shopping spree...it's simple yet rich when it comes to tartan prints, because I have always liked this trend, maybe because it brings back happy childhood memories ;)...I know I will soon have to enter plaidaholics anonymous, but I promise very soon I will stop buying tartan printed clothes (or, at least, I will try to ! :D).

Ciao a tutti ! Finalmente la settimana lavorativa sta volgendo al termine...non vedo l'ora che arrivi il weekend !. Questo è il tipo di look che mi piace adottare per un Sabato mattina, va benissimo per un bel giro di shopping...è semplice, ma ricco in stampa tartan, perché amo questo trend da sempre, forse perché mi riporta indietro a ricordi della mia infanzia felice ;)...so che probabilmente dovrò entrare nei plaidaholics anonymous, ma prometto che  molto presto smetterò di comprare capi a stampa scozzese (o, almeno, ci proverò ! :D).

A Very Simple Fall preview

One of the things that I am more excited of, when it comes to a new season is, of course, sporting new clothes and accessories. After all, even thought the weather is still pretty warm and sunny, Fall is here already...and I couldn't wait any longer to try out my brand new, lovely coat, from Very Simple ! This outfit is indeed a very simple one: a colored coat, a plaid shirt, jeans, a stylish clutch and brand new ankle boots with a rock vibe.

Una delle cose che preferisco del cambio stagione è, ovviamente, il fatto di poter indossare nuovi abiti e accessori. Dopotutto, sebbene il meteo sia clemente e ancora abbastanza caldo, siamo ormai in Autunno...e io non potevo più aspettare di indossare il mio nuovo, carinissimo cappotto VerySimple !. Questo outfit è, infatti, molto semplice: un cappottino colorato, una camicia scozzese, jeans, una clutch e nuovi stivaletti dall'aria rock.

Plaid print trend: Zara shirt

Plaid print has always been a classic and this Fall it's really everywhere. I bought this check shirt at Zara a few weeks ago and decided to wear it for a relaxing lunch in a cozy restaurant and an afternoon walk !.
I have to say I love shirts but I am not too keen on them because they get wrinkled so easily, especially when they are so oversized as this one ! The rhinestones on both pockets give this shirt a more girly look...so, this is my personal version of the lumberjack look, LOL :).

La stampa a quadri è sempre stata un classico e per questo autunno è di gran moda. Ho comprato questa camicia a quadri da Zara qualche settimana fa e ho deciso di indossarla per un pranzetto rilassante in un ristorante in collina e per una passeggiata pomeridiana.
Sebbene io ami le camicie, non sopporto il fatto che si gualciscano molto facilmente, specialmente se sono oversized come questa ! Gli strass su entrambe le tasche danno un'aria più frivola alla camicia...diciamo che questa è un po' la mia versione rivisitata del look da boscaiolo, LOL ! :).

I decided to wear my Cheap Monday high waisted jeans with my very comfortable wedge sneakers you had already seen and my Marc by Marc Jacobs "Too hot to handle" burgundy tote. Below you can see the set I made for this outfit.

Ho deciso di indossare i jeans di Cheap Monday a vita alta con le comodissime sneakers con zeppa interna che avevate già visto e la borsa Marc by Marc Jacobs "Too hot to handle" in bordeaux. Nell'immagine sottostante potete vedere il set di questo outfit.

I used a Zara forest green cardigan as a jacket and matched a green statement necklace from Zara.
Green and blue bracelets are from Pull & Bear, red nail polish is from OPI.
So, what do you think about plaid prints ? Do you own something with check print and do you like this trend ?.

Ho usato un cardigan color verde foresta di Zara come giacca ed abbinato una collana verde e oro, sempre di Zara.
I braccialetti verde e blu sono di Pull & Bear, lo smalto rosso è di OPI.
