Jeans and Tees outfits are just a summer classic but it's true sometimes dressing like that can sound boring. A stylish way to wear such a simple look is when you choose a statement t-shirt, like the one I am wearing in these pics, from Mooma Design. This Made in Italy, Marche based brand features original graphic tees for women and men that are really unique. They are printed by sublimation printing, a peculiar process when the print is transferred first on a sheet of paper and then, by using heat, the printed ink turns into gas and will be then transferred  permanently on the synthetic fabric. The fabric must be white first, hence this peculiar printing leaves some white folds, and each item is different from the other one. The outcome is very pretty, original and unique.

Questo brand Made in Italy con base nelle Marche realizza t-shirt grafiche originali per donna e uomo. I capi, davvero unici, sono stampati con la tecnica della stampa per sublimazione, un processo particolare con il quale la stampa viene trasferita prima su di un foglio di carta e dopo, attraverso il calore, l'inchiostro stampato si tramuta in gas che viene a colorare in modo permanente il tessuto in fibra sintetica. Il tessuto deve essere prima bianco, per cui questa stampa lascia delle strisce bianche, e ogni capo è diverso dall'altro. Il risultato è molto bello, originale e unico.

A urban cowgirl mood in today's outfit. The western inspiration was one of the biggest trends for Spring 2017 during New York Fashion Week, so it was time to wear my glamorous version of cowboy boots from Roberto Botticelli and to give my personal interpretation of this trend, and I have decided to wear my brand new pair of skinny jeggings from Dresslink, with a urban print pairing them with a fringe blouse and a denim jacket with eyelets and ribbons.

What to wear when you have nothing to wear ? Of course this is not true, I do have what to wear but especially when I am in a hurry to run my errands, I have that ugly feeling I can't seem to find anything to wear. Well, my solution to this typically feminine problem, in winter, is this one: I usually opt for a pair of skinny jeans and a camel coat, an easy outfit that you saw me wearing already on this fashion blog. This cute little Kiabi boyfriend camel coat, that I showed you in a more casual look, is this time worn in a more "grown up" context thanks to comfy mid heel shoes. I love camel with red, it's a color combo I have been using so much, and throwing a lovely red sweater like this one, adding a colorful bag doesn't require too much time. No panic: maybe, this time I won't be late...what do you say ?.

Cosa indossare quando non si ha nulla da indossare ? Ovviamente non è vero, ho cosa indossare, ma specialmente quando vado di fretta per sbrigare delle faccende, ho quella brutta sensazione, non riesco a trovare nulla da mettere. La mia soluzione a questo problema tipicamente femminile, in inverno, è questa: di solito opto per un paio di jeans skinny e un cappotto cammello, un outfit easy che mi avete già visto indossare diverse volte su questo fashion blog. Questo carinissimo cappottino boyfriend Kiabi, che vi avevo mostrato in un look molto più casual, sta bene anche in questa versione più "adulta" grazie a comode scarpe dal tacco medio. Adoro l'abbinamento cammello e rosso, lo indosso spesso, e scegliere un adorabile maglione rosso, aggiungere una borsa  colorata non richiede troppo tempo. Niente panico: forse questa volta non sarò in ritardo...che ne dite ?.

Color blocking with this bold and edgy outfit today on my fashion blog, to celebrate...it's Friday and the weekend is coming, so let's be happy !. This kind of look, with an uplifting effect on my mood, is featuring a plaid midi skirt found on Choies, a fringed wool sweater with geometric design, together with statement accessories: my Paula Cademartori Petite Faye bag and red open toe Roberto Botticelli shoes, the kind of shoes I fell in love with at first sight, with chunky jeweled heel, worn with a pair of chevron print tights, for extra warmth and another edgy touch. Lately the web is full of pictures of fashion bloggers with heavy coats and summer sandals...I admire them, surely it's a cool thing, but I wouldn't go out like that risking bronchitis, therefore you ain't going to see such a thing on this fashion blog. On the other hand, you will see me wearing the strangest things...that I consider as normal, just like socks with sandals trend :-)

Color blocking con un outfit vivace e audace oggi sul mio fashion blog, per festeggiare...è venerdì, e il weekend sta per arrivare, per cui bisogna essere felici !. Questo tipo di look ha l'effetto di risollevare il mio umore, prevede una gonna midi a quadri trovata su Choies, un maglione in lana con frange e disegni geometrici, insieme a degli accessori davvero particolari. Innanzitutto, la mia borsa Petite Faye Paula Cademartori, e scarpe open toe Roberto Botticelli, il tipo di scarpa che mi ha fatta innamorare a prima vista, con un largo tacco gioiello, indossata con un paio di calze a stampa zig-zag, per calore extra e per un altro tocco particolare. Ultimamente il web è pieno di foto di fashion blogger con cappotti pesanti e sandali estivi...le ammiro, sicuramente sarà una cosa figa, ma io non uscirei mai davvero di casa così rischiando una bronchite, per cui non vedrete mai una cosa del genere sul questo fashion blog. In compenso, mi vedrete abbigliata nei modi più strani...che però a me sembrano normali, come il trend delle calze con i sandali :-)

Palazzo trousers are definitely back, they feature a wide leg flaring out from the waist, and I decided to wear mine with a bright green silky blouse from French Connection, paired with an ethnic print bomber jacket. My Chanel 2.55 bag was the bag of choice and this time you see me with a different hairstyle, indeed I opted for a sided ponytail accessorized with a hair bobble flower from Moliabal Milano, a luxury hair accessories brand.

I pantaloni palazzo sono tornati alla grande e sono larghi sulle gambe a partire dal punto vita; ho abbinato i miei con una blusa in seta verde acceso di French Connection, portata con una giacca bomber a stampa etnica. La borsa prescelta è stata la mia Chanel 2.55 e ho cambiato un po' hairstyle facendo una coda laterale, tenuta insieme dall'elastico con fiore di Moliabal Milano, brand di accessori per capelli di lusso.

Happy Valentines day, everyone ! This is a day to celebrate the love in our lives, so, either you are happily in a couple or a single, let's stop for a second to cherish what we have. I don't need many persons in my life, but the ones I have are too precious, I am grateful for every moment spent with them, and I have to say since the loss of my beloved granma I learned to appreciate my loved ones even more. What are you up to, tonight ? I am going out to dinner with hubby - something we often indulge in ! I am definately missing both Sanremo Festival finale and Fifty Shades of Grey movie, so hubby is happy, LOL. This is not only lovers day anyway, since this is a fashion blog, it's also time for a new outfit. This time, as the brave fashion blogger I am, I explored the russian doll trend, with a mixture of rich printswith a deep wine red blouse and a rococo roses intarsia midi skirt, both from Chicwish. I added a faux fur jacket and my Mohekann clutch for a luxe babushka mood, and wore my front lace up boots from Roberto Botticelli, from a few seasons ago.

Buon San Valentino a tutti ! Questo è un giorno adatto a celebrare l'amore che c'è nelle nostre vite, pertanto, sia se siamo felicemente in coppia che single, fermiamoci un attimo a pensare a tutto ciò di buono che abbiamo. Non ho bisogno di tante persone nella mia vita, ma quelle che amo sono troppo preziose, sono grata per ogni istante trascorso con loro, e vi confesso che dalla scomparsa della mia adorata nonna ho imparato ad apprezzare chi amo ancora di più. Cosa farete stasera ? Io andrò a cena col maritino - a dire il vero, un'attività alla quale ci dedichiamo spesso ! Ci perderemo sia la Finale del Festival di Sanremo che 50 sfumature di grigio al cinema, pertanto mio marito può dirsi già soddisfatto, LOL. Questo comunque non è solo il giorno degli innamorati, ma, dato che questo è un fashion blog, è anche il momento per un nuovo outfit. Questa volta, da fashion blogger coraggiosa, ho voluto esplorare il trend bambola russa, con un misto di stampe e tessuti dato da una blusa di un bel rosso borgogna e la midi skirt a rose rococo, entrambi di Chicwish. Ho aggiunto un giacchino in ecopelliccia e la mia clutch Mohekann per accentuare il mood babushka di lusso, mentre ai piedi ho calzato un paio di stivali allacciati Roberto Botticelli di qualche stagione fa.

One of the most iconic pieces in a winter wardrobe, seen on many fashion blogs, that I consider one of the best stylish investments we can do, is a camel coat. I have always known the kind of coat I wanted: it had to be a high quality piece, made with luxurious and warm fabric, long enough and it had to be a camel belted coat, for defined waist and a flattering feminine figure. I was sure I would find mine at Max Mara: the brand is famous for the high quality and for the modern and timeless design of its coats, and as soon as I tried on this Max Mara Studio Tortona coat, in wool, silk and angora, in a warm shade of camel, I was in love. Perfect both with casual chic looks like that one I am showing you today and with more formal and elegant looks, this double breasted camel coat is one of those must have pieces that make you think after all winter isn't that bad !.

Uno dei capi più iconici del guardaroba invernale, visto su molti fashion blog, che considero uno degli investimenti migliori in fatto di stile che si possano fare, è un cappotto cammello. Sapevo bene il tipo di cappotto che desideravo: doveva essere di qualità, in tessuto morbido e caldo, lungo abbastanza e doveva essere un cappotto cammello con la cintura, per esaltare il punto vita e le forme femminili. Ero sicura che lo avrei trovato da Max Mara: il brand è famoso per la qualità e per il design sia moderno che senza tempo dei suoi cappotti, ed appena ho provato questo cappotto della linea Studio, modello Tortona, in lana, seta ed angora ed in una calda tonalità cammello, me ne sono innamorata. Perfetto sia con look casual chic, come questo che vi mostro oggi, che con outfit più formali ed eleganti, questo cappotto cammello doppio petto è uno di quei capispalla must have che ti fanno pensare che dopotutto l'inverno non sia poi così male !.

I have always liked boyfriend blazers. A masculine-cut jacket is such a versatile piece of clothing and it can be indeed very feminine. In this outfit you see me wearing a Promod one on a peace sign sweater I bought at Pull&Bear and above ankle length black trousers. The key piece is my new Longchamp Le Pliage Losange handbag, a limited edition bag from the new collection of the famous french brand, a medium-sized bag suitable for everyday life. At my feet, a pair of Roberto Botticelli shoes with pony hair leopard inserts. 

Mi sono sempre piaciuti i boyfriend blazer. Una giacca dal taglio maschile è un capo di abbigliamento molto versatile e può rivelarsi molto femminile. In questo outfit me ne vedete indossare una di Promod, su un maglione con il segno della pace comprato da Pull&Bear e a pantaloni alla caviglia. Il pezzo chiave è la mia borsa Longchamp Le Pliage Losange, una edizione limitata delle nuova collezione del famoso brand francese, una borsa di grandezza media adatta alla vita di tutti i giorni. Ai miei piedi, un paio di scarpe Roberto Botticelli con inserti in cavallino maculato.

Do you like to sparkle a little bit ? I sure do, especially but not only for party time I like all things shimmering and sequin fabrics like the one of this mini dress from british brand Poppy Lux. I love the tunic shape and the shade of dark rusty red of those little sequins, very suitable for a real rockstar outfit, enriched with a lovely golden necklace with a big blue stone, courtesy of Accessorize. If you scroll down you can see how I layered this look with a super cute cardigan and my faux fur black coat. Also, I decided to sport my new ankle boots from Roberto Boticelli for the first time, ready for the dance floor but, also, for...office meetings !.

Vi piace scintillare un po' ? A me sicuramente sì, specialmente - ma non solo - nei giorni di festa mi piacciono tutte le cose luminose e intessute di paillettes, come questo mini abito del brand inglese Poppy Lux. Mi piace il taglio a tunica e la tonalità di rosso scuro tendente al ruggine di queste piccole paillettes, che si prestano ad un outfit da vera rockstar, arricchito da una collana dorata con maxi pietra blu, graditissima sopresa di Accessorize. Nelle foto successive, potete vedere come ho "stratificato" il look con un carinissimo cardigan ed il mio eco-pellicciotto nero. Ai piedi, i miei nuovi stivaletti Roberto Botticelli, calzati per la prima volta, adatti sia alla pista da ballo che...alle riunioni in ufficio !.

The most feared moment of summer is here: the end of holidays. Anyway, there is always something positive in coming back home, and I think we need to go somewhere else sometimes, also to feel the need of coming back home, to our routine, at some point.

This look sported in Ravello is very colorful, with an indian embroidered style Preeti S. Kapoor top and fuchsia accessories, such as my Ecua-Andino panama hat and my Little Ukita Marc by Marc Jacobs bag. Could you say I like fuchsia, maybe ? LOL

Il momento più temuto dell'estate è arrivato: la fine delle vacanze. Comunque, c'è sempre un lato positivo nel tornare a casa, dopotutto parte del bello nell'andare via è anche sentire, ad un certo punto, il bisogno di tornare a casa ed alle proprie abitudini. Kenzo's tiger print strikes again with this lilac tee, and we have another hot trend of the season - slip on sneakers - in a bold fuchsia snakeskin leather.

Ciao a tutti ! E' giunto il momento per un nuovo post outfit con foto scattate qualche tempo addietro, mi ero dimenticata di mostrarvele: si tratta di un look adatto a tutti i giorni e molto basic, con una t-shirt e skinny jeans, il tutto reso particolare da un paio di accessori ad hoc.

Hey everyone, how are you doing ? I've been feeling very tired lately, because I have got too many things to do and I just wish my days had 48 hours !. 

It's the right time for a new outfit post, this time it's pretty simple...just jeans and sweater, sporting a tan colored faux fur jacket. Basic colors for the jacket and the sweater, that allowed me to play with one of my favorite and most extreme statement necklaces.

Ciao a tutti, come state ? Io mi sento abbastanza stanca, ultimamente ho avuto troppe cose da fare in troppo poco tempo, quanto vorrei poter avere giornate di 48 ore !. 

E' giunto il momento di un nuovo post outfit, questa volta è abbastanza semplice...un paio di jeans ed un maglione, ma il vero protagonista è il mio pellicciotto beige. Colori basici sia per la giacca che per il maglione, che mi hanno permesso di eccedere con una delle mie statement necklace preferite.

Diane Von Furstenberg celebrated, on January 10th, the opening of "Journey of a Dress," an exhibit honoring her famous signature dress she introduced in 1974: 40 years already for this feminine and flattering, dress that fastens with a simple tie at the waist, a dress that is in all fashion books and that became a symbol of women's liberation in the 1970s.

The exhibit at the Wilshire May Company Building is open until April 1st, featuring the designer's favorite dresses from throughout the decades, as well as new, limited edition dresses and exclusive portraits of the designer.

I thought it would be a good idea to honour the iconic wrap dress 40th birthday by wearing a Diane Von Furstenberg wrap dress myself. Mine is in woolen fabric, has a geometric print in red, black and white and I love it !.

Diane Von Furstenberg ha celebrato, lo scorso 10 gennaio, l'apertura di "Viaggio di un abito", una mostra che onora il famoso wrap dress che porta la sua firma inconfondibile e che ha ideato nel 1974: 40 anni di questo abito ultra femminile e facile da indossare che si chiude semplicemente con un nodo alla cintura, entrato di diritto nei libri di moda e diventato un simbolo di liberazione femminile negli anni '70.

La mostra presso il Wilshire May Company Bulding è aperta fino all'1 aprile, e si possono trovare gli abiti preferiti dalla stilista nel corso dei decenni, oltre ad una serie di abiti in edizione limitata creati apposta per l'occasione e ritratti esclusivi della designer. 

Ho pensato che fosse l'occasione giusta per festeggiare il quarantesimo compleanno dello wrap dress indossando io stessa questo modello iconico di abito di Diane Von Furstenberg. Il mio è in lana, ha una fantasia geometrica nei colori rosso, nero e bianco e io lo adoro !.

Beaded flapper dress

I must confess I have always wanted a flapper dress, to feel a bit like those 20s girls, with their dropped waistline above the kneee beaded dresses that moved as they walked, so when I found this black and red River Island dress on Asos, I decided I would buy it straight away. This is not a dress you can wear everyday or just go buy groceries, but I had a wedding to attend to and I decided it would be my chance to make my 20s dream come true !.

Devo confessare che ho sempre voluto un "flapper dress", per sentirmi un po' come quelle ragazze degli anni '20, con i loro abiti scivolati e al ginocchio, ricchi di ricami e perline che ondeggiavano ad ogni minimo movimento, così quando ho trovato questo abito nero e rosso River Island su Asos ho deciso di comprarlo quasi subito.

Non si tratta di un abito adatto ad ogni occasione, di certo non è il tipico look per uscire a fare la spesa, ma dato che ero invitata ad un matrimonio, ho deciso di rendere realtà proprio in quella occasione il mio sogno anni '20 !.

Black, gold and sequins

December is the perfect month to sport an elegant look, and that's what I am wearing this time, a pretty elegant black and gold outfit, with a few statement pieces, including sequins and the fiercest pair of ankle boots I own, my scene stealer Roberto Botticelli suede ankle boots, covered in tiny golden studs. I said I'd be ready for an evening out, but of course I did it my way, as you always see on this blog ;).

Dicembre è il mese perfetto per sfoggiare look eleganti, ed è proprio quello che sto facendo questa volta, si tratta di un outfit nei toni del nero e dell'oro con qualche elemento davvero speciale, paillettes ed il paio più particolare di stivaletti che ho: è impossibile che passino inosservati i miei ankle boots Roberto Botticelli in camoscio, ricoperti di piccoli bulloncini dorati. Avevo detto che sarei stata "da sera", ma ovviamente intendevo sempre a modo mio, come del resto accade ogni volta ;).
