Happy Valentines day, everyone ! This is a day to celebrate the love in our lives, so, either you are happily in a couple or a single, let's stop for a second to cherish what we have. I don't need many persons in my life, but the ones I have are too precious, I am grateful for every moment spent with them, and I have to say since the loss of my beloved granma I learned to appreciate my loved ones even more. What are you up to, tonight ? I am going out to dinner with hubby - something we often indulge in ! I am definately missing both Sanremo Festival finale and Fifty Shades of Grey movie, so hubby is happy, LOL. This is not only lovers day anyway, since this is a fashion blog, it's also time for a new outfit. This time, as the brave fashion blogger I am, I explored the russian doll trend, with a mixture of rich printswith a deep wine red blouse and a rococo roses intarsia midi skirt, both from Chicwish. I added a faux fur jacket and my Mohekann clutch for a luxe babushka mood, and wore my front lace up boots from Roberto Botticelli, from a few seasons ago.

Buon San Valentino a tutti ! Questo è un giorno adatto a celebrare l'amore che c'è nelle nostre vite, pertanto, sia se siamo felicemente in coppia che single, fermiamoci un attimo a pensare a tutto ciò di buono che abbiamo. Non ho bisogno di tante persone nella mia vita, ma quelle che amo sono troppo preziose, sono grata per ogni istante trascorso con loro, e vi confesso che dalla scomparsa della mia adorata nonna ho imparato ad apprezzare chi amo ancora di più. Cosa farete stasera ? Io andrò a cena col maritino - a dire il vero, un'attività alla quale ci dedichiamo spesso ! Ci perderemo sia la Finale del Festival di Sanremo che 50 sfumature di grigio al cinema, pertanto mio marito può dirsi già soddisfatto, LOL. Questo comunque non è solo il giorno degli innamorati, ma, dato che questo è un fashion blog, è anche il momento per un nuovo outfit. Questa volta, da fashion blogger coraggiosa, ho voluto esplorare il trend bambola russa, con un misto di stampe e tessuti dato da una blusa di un bel rosso borgogna e la midi skirt a rose rococo, entrambi di Chicwish. Ho aggiunto un giacchino in ecopelliccia e la mia clutch Mohekann per accentuare il mood babushka di lusso, mentre ai piedi ho calzato un paio di stivali allacciati Roberto Botticelli di qualche stagione fa.

Ethnic chic look

After a basic look, we're back with one of my eclectic outfits, the kind of look I feel the most as "mine", because it's a mixture of different things I like. Usually, I give a lot of importance to accessories, and the accessories are the key pieces in this look, especially my brand new olive Australian hat, a wide-brim hat from my favorite hat makers in the world, Ecua-Andino !. 

This wonderful wool hat, together with a couple of other items, turned this casual outfit into an outfit we could ironically classify as "Breakfast at Tiffany, ethnic chic edition", LOL ;).

Dopo avervi mostrato un look basico e semplice, rieccoci con uno dei miei outfit eclettici, il tipo di look che sento più "mio" proprio perché composto da diversi elementi che mi piacciono. Solitamente, sono molto concentrata sugli accessori, e proprio loro sono i pezzi chiave in questo look, specialmente il mio nuovo cappello modello Australiano color oliva, un cappello a tesa larga dei miei cappellai del cuore, Ecua-Andino !. Questo meraviglioso cappello in lana, insieme ad un paio di altre cose, ha tramutato un outfit casual in un outfit che potremmo ironicamente definire "Colazione da Tiffay, edizione etno-chic", LOL :).

Pinstripe and Squirrel

When I think about pinstripe pants, often I end up thinking about office suits, to formal, somehow boring trousers. Well, in this outfit I want to show you another use for grey pinstripe pants...I paired them to a holiday sweater with a squirrel on the front and to a statement bag and coatigan, in an eclectic ensemble that won't surely make you think about an office meeting but is kinda festive. After all, Christmas is almost here...and I wish you from now to spend it in peace and harmony, surrounded by your loved ones !.

Quando penso al pantalone gessato, spesso mi ritrovo a immaginare completi adatti prettamente all'ufficio, a pantaloni formali e, in un certo modo, anonimi. Con questo outfit voglio mostrarvi un modo alternativo di indossare pants gessati...li ho abbinati ad un maglione perfetto per le feste natalizie, con uno scoiattolo sul davanti, e ad una borsa e un coatigan molto particolari, un insieme eclettico che non vi farà di certo pensare ad un incontro di lavoro, ma è abbastanza festivo. Dopotutto, Natale è sempre più vicino...e vi auguro fin ad ora di trascorrerlo in serenità e armonia, insieme ai vostri cari !.
