White coat, Baroque print dress

Hi everyone ! Did you recover well from Valentine's Day ? :) I am pretty fine, I received a bunch of flowers and a bunch of...shoes, and I am all happy because the sun has been shining in the past couple of days, I needed it after so much rain !. This time I am here to show you an elegant outfit, featuring a baroque print bodycon dress and a cute little white coat from Chicwish.

Vi siete ripresi bene da San Valentino ? :) Io sto benone, ho ricevuto sia un mazzo di rose che di...scarpe, e soprattutto sono felice perché negli ultimi giorni stiamo avendo un bel sole, ne sentivo il bisogno dopo tanta, troppa pioggia !. Questa volta vi mostro un outfit elegante, con un abito aderente a fantasia barocca ed un cappottino bianco preso su Chicwish.

Red coat, golden pumps

I wanted my last outfit post of 2013 to be festive and also a good wish for new year, therefore let me introduce you to my brand new red coat ! No other color makes me feel like red does: it's a color for happiness and for self esteem, to me. It just screams: look at me, I am not afraid to be noticed by the other people !. No matter about my faults, after my teenage years when black was the only safe color, I have blossomed into an adult woman that enjoys playing with colors so much, and isn't afraid to dare. This is the philosophy I am embracing for these last days of the year: let's prepare for good resolutions, but let's also appreciate what we achieved so far. Don't you agree with me ?.

Volevo che il mio ultimo post outfit del 2013 fosse "festaiolo" e di buon auspicio per il nuovo anno, quindi lasciate che vi presenti il mio nuovo cappotto rosso ! Nessun colore mi fa sentire come il rosso: è il colore della felicità e dell'autostima, per me. Sembra gridare: "guardatemi, non ho paura di farmi notare dagli altri" !. Non importa dei difetti, dopo gli anni dell'adolescenza, in cui il nero era l'unico "colore sicuro", sono diventata una donna adulta che ama giocare con i colori e non ha paura di osare. Questa è la filosofia con la quale affronto gli ultimi giorni di questo anno: prepariamoci ai buoni propositi, ma apprezziamo anche cosa abbiamo ottenuto fino ad ora. Non siete d'accordo ?.

Beaded flapper dress

I must confess I have always wanted a flapper dress, to feel a bit like those 20s girls, with their dropped waistline above the kneee beaded dresses that moved as they walked, so when I found this black and red River Island dress on Asos, I decided I would buy it straight away. This is not a dress you can wear everyday or just go buy groceries, but I had a wedding to attend to and I decided it would be my chance to make my 20s dream come true !.

Devo confessare che ho sempre voluto un "flapper dress", per sentirmi un po' come quelle ragazze degli anni '20, con i loro abiti scivolati e al ginocchio, ricchi di ricami e perline che ondeggiavano ad ogni minimo movimento, così quando ho trovato questo abito nero e rosso River Island su Asos ho deciso di comprarlo quasi subito.

Non si tratta di un abito adatto ad ogni occasione, di certo non è il tipico look per uscire a fare la spesa, ma dato che ero invitata ad un matrimonio, ho deciso di rendere realtà proprio in quella occasione il mio sogno anni '20 !.

Cobalt blue prom dress

I had the opportunity to spend last week-end in a lovely country place. After spending the whole day at the beach, it only took about half an hour by car to get to a lovely bed & breakfast in the countryside, located in a very peaceful tiny village. I only had one small weekender bag with me, and since we had planned a romantic terrace dinner at the restaurant nearby, I decided to bring this cobalt blue romantic prom dress with me. A good shower, a veil of make up, a few colorful accessories and I was ready for the evening !. 

Ho avuto l'opportunità di trascorrere lo scorso weekend in un bel posticino in campagna. Dopo aver trascorso l'intera giornata al mare, sono bastati una trentina di minuti in macchina per raggiungere un adorabile bed & breakfast in campagna, in un paesino molto carino e pacifico. Avevo portato con me solo un borsoncino da fine settimana, e siccome sapevo già che avremmo cenato romanticamente, su una bella terrazza con vista in un ristorante adiacente, ho deciso di portare questo abitino elegante dal taglio romantico, color blu cobalto. Una bella doccia, un velo di trucco, un paio di accessori colorati ed ero pronta per la serata !.

Sequin dress and envelope clutch

How are you doing ? I've been pretty stressed and busy at work and this crazy weather is making things worse with all these changes...anyway, yesterday we had one day of sun and it didn't rain for a few hours, the air got a bit warmer and it almost felt like true Springtime...pure bliss ! I was so happy because I attended the wedding of a dear friend, and therefore the sun was highly needed !. Here are the pics of the outfit I wore for the (daytime) wedding.

Come state ? Io sono molto occupata in questi giorni, e il meteo pazzerello non aiuta l'umore, continuando con i suoi sbalzi...comunque, ieri si è deciso ad accordarci una tregua e non ha piovuto per qualche ora, facendoci quasi illudere di essere davvero in Primavera...ne sono stata molto felice perché ero invitata al matrimonio di una cara amica, e il sole era un requisito indispensabile !
