Pink is THE color ! This casual trendy outfit is featuring my pink Raf Simons for Adidas Stan Smith sneakers and my pink Balenciaga City bag. A casual look featuring patched mom jeans, and a satin bomber I got from Choies, with "Eye of the Tiger" quote embroidery on the back. Both patched jeans - I keep on buying them - and the bomber are inspired by the past decades and really trendy for Spring 2016. I love such outfits, comfortable and fun, and I love pink so much that I sort of justified myself for paying my Stan Smith much more than the normal cost just because they came from a collaboration with designer Raf Simons. Sia i jeans con toppe - non riesco a smettere di comprarne - che il bomber sono ispirati alla moda di decadi passate e sono molto trendy per la primavera 2016. How are you doing in this long weekend ? I took one day off the internet yesterday and spent a nice Saturday out - sometimes I realize I just need a break - and I will be spending most of these days involved in the seasonal closet change and some major house decluttering - wish me luck, I need it ! Maybe also this need for decluttering leads me to a minimalistic outfit for today, compared to my usual looks: white shirt, jeans and sneakers. A white shirt is by far a staple in everyone's closet, and this cat collar white shirt I found on Choies adds a touch of cuteness to this simple look. Inspired by Vivetta collars, this one is affordable and perfect for a daytime casual outfit; I wore this shirt with frayed hem flare jeans, a small serenity bag - another trendy color according to Pantone - and my golden glitter sneakers, because simple doesn't have to mean dull, you can keep it simple yet special ;)

Come ve la state passando in questo lungo weekend ? Io ho preso un giorno di ferie da internet ieri e ho passato un bel sabato in giro - a volte capisco di aver bisogno di un break - e trascorrerò la maggior parte di oggi e domani a fare il cambio stagionale degli armadi e altro ordine in casa - auguratemi buona fortuna, ne ho bisogno ! Forse per questo bisogno di ordine, anche l'outfit di oggi è all'insegna del minimalismo, in confronto ai miei look abituali: camicia bianca, jeans e sneakers. Una camicia bianca è sicuramente un punto fermo nel guardaroba di ognuno, e questa camicia con collo a forma di gatto trovata su Choies aggiunge un tocco di tenerezza a questo look semplice. Ispirato dai colletti di Vivetta, questo è accessibile ed è perfetto per un outfit casual da giorno. Ho indossato questa camicia con jeans svasati dal bordo sfrangiato, una borsetta nel colore serenity - un altro colore trendy dettato da Pantone - e sneakers con glitter dorati, perché semplice non deve essere sinonimo di banale, si può essere semplici ma speciali ;)

Color blocking with this bold and edgy outfit today on my fashion blog, to celebrate...it's Friday and the weekend is coming, so let's be happy !. This kind of look, with an uplifting effect on my mood, is featuring a plaid midi skirt found on Choies, a fringed wool sweater with geometric design, together with statement accessories: my Paula Cademartori Petite Faye bag and red open toe Roberto Botticelli shoes, the kind of shoes I fell in love with at first sight, with chunky jeweled heel, worn with a pair of chevron print tights, for extra warmth and another edgy touch. Lately the web is full of pictures of fashion bloggers with heavy coats and summer sandals...I admire them, surely it's a cool thing, but I wouldn't go out like that risking bronchitis, therefore you ain't going to see such a thing on this fashion blog. On the other hand, you will see me wearing the strangest things...that I consider as normal, just like socks with sandals trend :-)

Color blocking con un outfit vivace e audace oggi sul mio fashion blog, per festeggiare...è venerdì, e il weekend sta per arrivare, per cui bisogna essere felici !. Questo tipo di look ha l'effetto di risollevare il mio umore, prevede una gonna midi a quadri trovata su Choies, un maglione in lana con frange e disegni geometrici, insieme a degli accessori davvero particolari. Innanzitutto, la mia borsa Petite Faye Paula Cademartori, e scarpe open toe Roberto Botticelli, il tipo di scarpa che mi ha fatta innamorare a prima vista, con un largo tacco gioiello, indossata con un paio di calze a stampa zig-zag, per calore extra e per un altro tocco particolare. Ultimamente il web è pieno di foto di fashion blogger con cappotti pesanti e sandali estivi...le ammiro, sicuramente sarà una cosa figa, ma io non uscirei mai davvero di casa così rischiando una bronchite, per cui non vedrete mai una cosa del genere sul questo fashion blog. In compenso, mi vedrete abbigliata nei modi più strani...che però a me sembrano normali, come il trend delle calze con i sandali :-)

I confess I have been pretty lazy these days, it's the effect of winter holidays, I have been spending less time at the pc and now I can't even think about taking all the Christmas decorations off from my house...shall I leave them on for next year ? ;-). I keep feeling on holidays because after all tomorrow it's always Epiphany day, and red is THE festive color to me, so this sweater with appliqued flowers from Rosè a Pois is really the perfect add !. Here we are with this cozy, comfy and fun look that would be good also for sales hunting, even replacing those pumps with a pair of sneakers, to run towards a great deal and forget that soon we'll be back to our usual routine !.

Confesso di essere stata molto pigra in questi giorni, è l'effetto delle festività, sono stata davvero poco al pc e adesso non riesco neanche a pensare al fatto che dovrò togliere tutte le decorazioni natalizie da casa...magari le tengo per l'anno prossimo ? ;-) Continuo a sentirmi in vacanza perché, dopotutto, domani è l'Epifania, e il colore festivo per eccellenza è il rosso, come quello di questo maglione oversize con fiori applicati di Rosè a Pois. Ecco quindi un look confortevole, comodo e divertente che potrebbe andare bene anche per una caccia ai saldi, magari sostituendo le pumps con delle sneakers per correre verso il grande affare e dimenticare che presto faremo ritorno alla nostra solita routine !.

A romantic Fall outfit with a history. Daylight saving time ended today here in Italy, therefore we had to turn our clocks backwards one hour; this means I have been able to sleep for one hour more, but also that from now on, sunset will be one hour earlier...more dark, more sadness ! I miss Spring very much and therefore, to say it loud, I have decided to go out wearing this beautiful floral maxi skirt found on Choies. I love matching chiffon skirts with wool sweaters, and I did it with this royal blue buttoned cardigan. The outcome: a romantic and girly outfit for a calm walk with my soulmate. My new t-bar shoes, in a light shade of blue, completed this feminine look. T-bar heels take us back in time - so it's not just the clock as I said before - as they entered in fashion in the early 1900s as a variation of the Mary Jane style, they were so popular in 1920s because they were perfect to dance. My modern t-straps are slightly pointy and very glamorous, in a special suede that looks like it has glitters.

Un romantico outfit autunnale con una storia. L'ora legale è terminata oggi quì in Italia, pertanto abbiamo dovuto portare gli orologi indietro di un'ora; ciò significa che ho potuto dormire un'ora in più, ma anche che, d'ora in poi, il tramonto arriverà un'ora prima...più buio, più tristezza ! Mi manca molto la primavera e pertanto, per affermarlo con forza, ho deciso di uscire sfoggiando questa bella maxi gonna floreale scovata su Choies. Mi piace abbinare gonne in leggero chiffon a maglie in lana, e così è stato con questo cardigan abbottonato blu elettrico. Il risultato: un outfit romantico e girly per una calma passeggiata con la mia anima gemella. Le mie nuove scarpe t-bar, in una tonalità chiara di azzurro,  hanno completato questo look femminile. Le scarpe t-bar ci portano indietro nel tempo - quindi non è solo l'orologio, come ho detto prima - dato che hanno fatto il loro ingresso nella moda agli inizi del 1900 come una variante delle Mary Jane, diventando molto popolari negli anni '20 perché perfette per il ballo. Le mie t-strap moderne sono un po' a punta e molto glam, in camoscio lavorato in modo da sembrare glitterato.

I think we all agree: leggings are not pants, but they are very comfortable and cute for our casual outfits and for a sporty holiday look I am showing you today on this fashion blog. My thoughts on how to wear leggings are simple: wearing them with a long enough t-shirt, especially if it's a fun one like this makeup faces print from Choies, is the best solution !. Also, wear leggings with sneakers for your sporty moments, either you are on holidays like me, or not. I have quite a collection of leggings, especially in the easiest color ever, black: these ones are from Adidas and have the classic three stripe design on the side. I decided to wear them with my adidas Originals Rita Ora Stan Smith sneakers in core black, from the collaboration between Adidas and the famous pop star. Leopard print is the new neutral, and I like to wear it in a fun way, just like I did with this outfit worn in Sorrento. As it often happens, I started with a small but important detail: my Dolce & Gabbana leopard print sunglasses found on my favorite eyewear shop, Giarre.com. Then, I remembered I purchased a lovely leopard print midi skirt from Choies, that is very versatile. Touches of coral and white completed my look: my Balenciaga City bag and my flat sandals with fringes and a touch of leopard combined together naturally. A daytime outfit, perfect for a vacation, as fun and laid-back as I like it.

La stampa leopardata è il nuovo neutro, e mi piace indossarla in modo divertente, proprio come ho fatto con questo outfit a Sorrento. Come spesso accade, ho iniziato con un piccolo ma importante dettaglio: i miei nuovi occhiali da sole Dolce & Gabbana a stampa leopardo presi nel mio negozio di ottica preferito, Giarre.com. Poi, ho ricordato di aver acquistato una adorabile midi skirt leopardata su Choies, che è molto versatile. Tocchi di bianco e color corallo hanno completato il mio look: la mia Balenciaga City ed i sandali flat con frange, che si prestano a questo insieme molto naturalmente. Un outfit da giorno perfetto per una vacanza, divertente e scanzonato come piace a me.

I think a midi dress is a classy choice when it comes to dressing up for a romantic dinner date, and I couldn't wait to wear this green retro floral high waist sleeveless dress found on one of my favorite webshops, Choies. As for the "being fabulous" part, readers of my fashion blog know I feel fabulous when I have the right accessories, just like my new Prada Voice sunglasses found on Giarre.com, my most trusted sunglasses and eyeglasses shop. I had these jeweled sunglasses in my wishlist for quite a long time, and now they are finally mine !. A special dinner required also special shoes, just like my ankle strap sandals from Le Silla, in a neutral taupe, both classic and modern just like my Givenchy Antigona bag.

Una ragazza dovrebbe essere due cose: di classe e favolosa, così diceva Coco Chanel. Io penso che un abito midi sia una scelta di classe per un appuntamento romantico a cena, e non vedevo l'ora di indossare questo abito verde retro a vita alta e senza maniche trovato su uno dei miei negozi online preferiti, Choies. Post holidays blues ? We need Happy Barcelona Style !

Hey guys, holidays are officially over, and we're all back to our usual routine, possibly with a few good resolutions to achieve for the New Year (eating less and well, going back to the gym and sleeping more are part of mine, for sure !). I have decided to fight the post holidays blues with a super happy colorful print, the one of this Rozalia dress from Paramita, a spanish brand, featuring the famous happy Barcelona style. I decided to wear this short, colorful dress with my black over the knee boots and a few pop statement accessories, just like my Marc by Marc Jacobs clearly bag, with a transparent flap, my studded Moschino sunglasses and a turquoise egg shaped coat, that you can see in the pic below.

Ciao a tutti, le vacanze sono ufficialmente finite, e stiamo tornando tutti alla solita routine, magari con qualche buon proposito per l'Anno Nuovo da realizzare assolutamente (mangiare meno e meglio, tornare in palestra e dormire di più sono sicuramente tra i miei obiettivi !). Ho deciso di combattere la tristezza post festività con una stampa super allegra e colorata, quella dell'abito Rozalia di Paramita, brand spagnolo che rappresenta lo "stile felice" di Barcellona. Ho deciso di abbinare questo abito corto e coloratissimo a dei cuissardes neri e di aggiungere qualche accessorio particolare dal mood pop, come la borsa rossa Marc by Marc Jacobs modello clearly, dalla pattina trasparente, gli occhiali borchiati Moschino ed un cappotto a uovo turchese, che potete vedere scorrendo le foto del post.

One of the things I like to do the most when the weather is warm and sunny is wearing a cute little dress. Today I want to show you this lovely red and cream lips sleeveless short dress I found on Choies.

I think it's really adorable, isn't it ?. I paired it with some new awesome accessories: a special golden necklace from Vitti Ferria Contin, super cute Nau! sunglasses and new lace and leather pumps from Nando Muzi. Obviously, I went for red passion color both for my lips and nails, an evergreen classic I never get tired of !.

Una delle cose che adoro fare - quando il meteo lo permette - è indossare un grazioso abitino. Oggi voglio mostrarvene uno cosparso di...labbra rosse ! Questo abito corto senza maniche rosso e crema trovato su Choies è davvero delizioso, non siete d'accordo ?. L'ho abbinato a degli accessori molto particolari, come una speciale collana dorata Vitti Ferria Contin, occhiali "cat eye" con lenti sfumate Nau! e pumps in pizzo e pelle Nando Muzi. Ovviamente, il tutto accompagnato dal colore della passione, il rosso, sia per le labbra che sulle unghie: un classico che non mi stanca mai per un look...al bacio ;) !.

The air is still chilly, but there are a few pieces of clothing  in my closet that are perfect for this "it's almost spring" period, with their colors, just like this blue egg-shaped coat from Choies. Yes, another coat...did you think you had seen them all ? Well, in that case you were wrong ;)

I matched my lovely azure ovoid outerwear to a beautiful white and blue sweater, comfy jeans and a very colorful bag.

L'aria è ancora freddina, ma ci sono alcuni capi di abbigliamento che, grazie ai loro colori, sono perfetti per questa ultima parte dell'inverno che va verso la primavera, proprio come questo cappotto oversized "a uovo" di Choies. Sì, l'ennesimo cappotto...pensavate di averli già visti tutti ? Vi sbagliavate :P

Ho abbinato questo cappotto azzurro ad un bel maglione bianco e blu, jeans comodi ed una borsa coloratissima.

How are you, guys ? Going back to work after Christmas/New Year holidays is always a huge shock, and this morning, when the alarm went off, I didn't really want to get up ! Moreover, my Christmas tree is still here, waiting to be put aside, but I spent my free time in Zara checking on the sales and now I am here, doing one of the things I like the most: blogging, so it has to wait. Every year in this period I feel a bit melancholic, this has never changed with time. Something changed: I remember my mum buying me pinafore dresses when I was a kid, and I wasn't that enthusiastic...now I am a grown up woman and I was thinking I ended up buying a pinafore dress myself, so maybe it's in my DNA ! This sleeveless shift dress is three times trendy: it has checks, it has studs and I am sure you noticed that this shade is similar to the color of 2014 according to Pantone: radiant orchid !. Mother, I forgive you for what you made me wear...on the contrary, I thank you !.

Come state ? Tornare al lavoro dopo le ferie natalizie è sempre un grande shock e questa mattina, quando la sveglia ha suonato, non volevo saperne di alzarmi ! In più, l'albero di Natale campeggia ancora trionfante in salotto, ma io anziché disfarlo sono stata da Zara per i saldi e ora sto facendo una delle cose che preferisco, ovvero scrivere un post...l'albero dovrà attendere !. Ma veniamo al post di oggi, con un capo che mi riporta all'infanzia, quando mia madre mi comprava il cosìddetto "scamiciato", ovvero un abito senza maniche da portare su una maglia aderente o una camicia. Ne avevo tanti, forse troppi. Evidentemente il concetto di scamiciato/a è impresso nel mio DNA, perché solo ora ho realizzato di averne diversi, incluso questo, che è tre volte trendy: ha una fantasia tartan, ha le borchie e, cosa da non sottovalutare, è in un colore simile a quello che, secondo Pantone, è quello dell'anno 2014: radiant orchid ! Mamma, ti perdono per tutto ciò che mi hai fatto indossare, anzi...ti ringrazio !.

Asian inspired outfit and Taara Jewelry

Most of the times I take inspiration for my outfits starting from accessories, because accessories are really essential in my world. This time, I got inspired by this Taara Jewelry necklace for this outfit - the shape and green color, with a clear asian vibe, suggested me to go for an asian inspired look, after all a strong asian wind has been blowing stronger than ever on the catwalks (just look at Prada !) and made it as one of the leading trends for Spring/Summer 2013. Here's my very own  and very GREEN version !.

La maggior parte delle volte prendo ispirazione per i miei outfit partendo dagli accessori, perché rappresentano spesso non un completamento, ma l'elemento fondamentale per me. Stavolta, sono stata ispirata da questa collana di Taara Jewelry per questo outfit - la forma del ciondolo e il colore mi hanno ricordato il lontano oriente e mi hanno suggerito di optare per un look di ispirazione asiatica, proprio quando il vento orientale ha soffiato più forte che mai sulle passerelle (basti pensare a Prada !) rivelandosi uno dei trend di punta per la Primavera/Estate 2013. Ecco la mia personalissima e VERDISSIMA versione !.

Brave enough to wear: Givenchy look alike boots

A grey day can turn brighter when you are wearing new boots, this is my personal motto. The boots I am wearing in this outfit are very inspired to Givenchy's fold-over knee boots, so trendy this season. Those boots are very controversial: the whole fashion web was torn between fans and people saying they are ugly and that not even a top model could look good in them. I obviously was a fan, as soon as I saw them for the first time.
Plus, before this happened, I have seen people dissing Lita boots, and I have decided to buy them anyway. I have seen people hating UGG boots, and I think they are the comfiest winter boots ever. I have seen people saying wedged sneakers were pure evil, yet I had a couple and love them...do you think some people saying they disliked those boots could stop me from trying to wear them ? Of course NOT ! :-).

Una giornata grigia può diventare più luminosa indossando stivali nuovi, è un po' il mio motto personale. Gli stivali che indosso in questo outfit sono molto ispirati a quelli di Givenchy, molto di moda questo inverno, stivali che hanno diviso il web del fashion tra fan sfegatate e gente che diceva che sono brutti e che neanche una modella professionista potrebbe riuscire a valorizzarsi indossandoli. Io, ovviamente, ne sono stata attratta, da subito.
In più, prima che ciò accadesse, ho letto di gente che parlava male delle Lita, e ho deciso di comprarle comunque. Ho letto di gente che odiava gli UGG, invece ne ho una piccola collezione e li trovo comodissimi. Ho letto di gente che parlava male delle sneakers con zeppa, come se fossero il male del mondo, invece io ne ho due paia e mi ci trovo bene...quindi, credete che qualche critica agli stivali di cui mi ero invaghita non appena visti potesse fermarmi dal procurarmene un paio ? Ovviamente no ! :-). C'è così tanta gente che porta le Hogan Interactive, dopotutto...il male è altrove, ahahah :-P.
