Let's start the outfits of 2019 with a tartan ruffled asymmetrical skirt and my brand new Fendi Runaway Logo bag. This kind of outfit is so "me" because it's a bit eclectic and it puts together different things I love: asymmetrical skirts, plaid print, an IT bag I wanted badly (it's a Christmas present) and cowgirl boots. These boots from Le Silla had been waiting for a while to be worn and here they are, composing this eye catching look.

Iniziamo gli outfit del 2019 con una gonna tartan asimmetrica con riccio e la mia nuova borsa Fendi Runaway Logo. Questo tipo di outfit è molto "me" perché è eclettico e mette insieme cose diverse che adoro: le gonne asimmetriche, la fantasia plaid, una IT bag tanto desiderata (regalo di Natale) e stivali da cowgirl. Questi stivali di Le Silla aspettavano da un po' di essere indossati ed eccoli, a comporre questo look così particolare.

How are you, guys ? Going back to work after Christmas/New Year holidays is always a huge shock, and this morning, when the alarm went off, I didn't really want to get up ! Moreover, my Christmas tree is still here, waiting to be put aside, but I spent my free time in Zara checking on the sales and now I am here, doing one of the things I like the most: blogging, so it has to wait. Every year in this period I feel a bit melancholic, this has never changed with time. Something changed: I remember my mum buying me pinafore dresses when I was a kid, and I wasn't that enthusiastic...now I am a grown up woman and I was thinking I ended up buying a pinafore dress myself, so maybe it's in my DNA ! This sleeveless shift dress is three times trendy: it has checks, it has studs and I am sure you noticed that this shade is similar to the color of 2014 according to Pantone: radiant orchid !. Mother, I forgive you for what you made me wear...on the contrary, I thank you !.

Come state ? Tornare al lavoro dopo le ferie natalizie è sempre un grande shock e questa mattina, quando la sveglia ha suonato, non volevo saperne di alzarmi ! In più, l'albero di Natale campeggia ancora trionfante in salotto, ma io anziché disfarlo sono stata da Zara per i saldi e ora sto facendo una delle cose che preferisco, ovvero scrivere un post...l'albero dovrà attendere !. Ma veniamo al post di oggi, con un capo che mi riporta all'infanzia, quando mia madre mi comprava il cosìddetto "scamiciato", ovvero un abito senza maniche da portare su una maglia aderente o una camicia. Ne avevo tanti, forse troppi. Evidentemente il concetto di scamiciato/a è impresso nel mio DNA, perché solo ora ho realizzato di averne diversi, incluso questo, che è tre volte trendy: ha una fantasia tartan, ha le borchie e, cosa da non sottovalutare, è in un colore simile a quello che, secondo Pantone, è quello dell'anno 2014: radiant orchid ! Mamma, ti perdono per tutto ciò che mi hai fatto indossare, anzi...ti ringrazio !.

Green and blue tartans

As most of you will remember, I am a tartan addicted and this year, since checked prints took over Fall/Winter fashion, I have been able to wear so many plaid printed pieces of clothing, creating so many different outfits, including this one. I can't really define this look, all I know is that it represents me, and it's enough. It's based on blue and green tartans, maybe the easiest kind of plaid that also the less tartan enthusiastic people can bear a little bit more.  A special guest star in this post is my tartan flat cap, with it it was love at first sight !.

Come la maggior parte di voi ricorderà, sono leggermente ossessionata dal tartan e quest'anno, dato che le stampe scozzesi imperversano nella moda Autunno/Inverno, sono stata fino ad ora in grado di indossare tanti capi a quadri, creando molti look diversi, compreso questo. Non riesco a definire questo strano outfit prodotto dalla mia mente, so solo che mi rappresenta, ed è abbastanza ;). E' basato su fantasie scozzesi nei toni del verde e del blu, forse l'abbinata più facile tra i vari tartan, meglio sopportata anche da chi del plaid non ne vuole proprio sapere. L'elemento speciale del post è la mia coppola a quadri, con lei è stato amore a prima vista !.
