Ruffles on the back

Sometimes things are just different than what they seem. Sometimes, something plain and normal can hide something more structured...just like this plain blue shirt with ruffles on the back, the key piece of this almost monochrome outfit, together with baroque pants and my metallic slip-on Oxford shoes, super comfortable, from Lemaré !.

A volte, ciò che ad un primo sguardo sembra fatto in un modo, è diverso da quello che sembra. A volte, qualcosa di perfettamente normale e lineare nasconde qualcosa di più complesso...proprio come la camicia con le rouches sul retro, pezzo chiave di questo outfit quasi monocromatico, impreziosito da pantaloni a stampa barocca e dalle mie Oxford slip-on in pelle metallizzata, comodissime, targate Lemaré !.

Outfit: I am feeling blue !

Lately I've been feeling blue, more than ever. No, I don't mean I've been feeling sad, it's just that I've been obsessing over the blue color, especially when it's a cobalt blue shade like the one of this beautiful Blackfive dress !. 

This time I want to show you a pretty monochrome look, with blue dress, sandals, blazer and even shades, leaving a touch of red color on my clutch bag. Really, I can say that being blue makes me feel happy...I know, I am a bit complicated ! ;)

Ultimamente mi sento "blue", più del solito. No, non intendo dire che mi sento triste, semplicemente ho sviluppato una ossessione per il colore blu, specialmente se nella sua forma più strong, ovvero blu cobalto, come il colore di questo bellissimo abito Blackfive !.

Vi presento un look decisamente monocromatico, infatti sono blu l'abito, i sandali, il blazer e persino le lenti dei miei occhiali da sole, con l'unica eccezione data dal rosso della clutch. In realtà, nessun colore mi rende felice come il blu...lo so, sono un po' complicata ! ;)

Zara baby blue faux leather jacket

Like many of you, I am a die hard Zara customer. Every seasons, it seems there is something that we HAVE to buy, that Zara must-have that we find ourselves craving for. 

The pastel blue faux leather biker jacket from Zara is surely the most desired and talked about piece for Spring 2014. Seen on many bloggers, it's probably the trendiest piece this Season, combining a soft, pale shade of blue with the edgyness of a motorbike jacket.

After a few weeks of hesitation, I have decided to buy it, because this shade of baby blue is just amazing and being in faux leather, the price was rather convenient, as real leather would have been much more pricey. Add to this that whenever I enter into Zara shop, clothes and accessories do whisper "buy me !" just like a bunch of Sirens, I gave up and bought it, and here it is !.

Come molti di voi, sono una accanita acquirente di prodotti Zara. Ogni stagione finiamo per desiderare un capo Zara in particolare, che diventa un must-have per qualche motivo, spesso sconosciuto.

La giacca in eco-pelle blu pastello, di Zara, è sicuramente uno dei pezzi più desiderati e chiacchierati della Primavera 2014. Vista su molte bloggers, è il capo più alla moda per questa stagione, combinando una tonalità molto particolare di blu pastello con il taglio di una giacca da motociclista.

Dopo qualche settimana di esitazione, ho ceduto all'impulso di comprarla, perché adoro questo colore così delicato ed essendo in eco-pelle il prezzo era abbastanza contenuto, in confronto a quanto costano i giubbotti in vera pelle. Aggiungete al tutto il fatto che, ogni volta che entro da Zara, dagli scaffali sento vestiti ed accessori che mi sussurrano "comprami...comprami !" come delle Sirene ammaliatrici, ho ceduto e l'ho presa...eccola !. 

Full floral midi skirt in scuba

Hey everyone, how are you doing ? It's time for the first outfit post for April, featuring one of my obsessions: a full midi skirt in scuba fabric. I can't help but love a skirt like that: whenever I am wearing one, I feel a bit like a princess, it has this bon ton and vintage allure that I love to soften with something more edgy, like a leather jacket. Scuba fabric is pretty thick, so it makes the skirt look fuller and the way the skirt moves when I walk makes me feel like dancing...or maybe is it just Springtime kicking in ?.

Ciao a tutti, come state ? E' finalmente il momento per un nuovo post outfit, il primo del mese di Aprile. Iniziamo con una delle mie ossessioni del momento: una gonna midi a ruota in tessuto scuba. Non posso non amare una gonna così, che mi fa sentire una principessa con il suo allure bon ton e vintage, e che amo mixare con qualcosa di più aggressivo come un giubbotto in pelle. 

Il tessuto scuba è piuttosto spesso, rendendo la gonna ancora più a ruota e "ricca", ed il modo in cui si muove quando cammino mi fa venire voglia di ballare...o forse è solo la Primavera ?.

White jeweled sweatshirt, leaf print skirt

Happy start of the week, everyone ! It seems like the wind is slowly becoming my best friend. Whenever I go out and we're taking outfit pics, it starts blowing...and there's no brush, no airspray that can tame my hair. Oh well, I suppose this is why they say March is crazy ;) 

I was in a Spring mood, so eager to sport my bon ton outfit featuring my new fashion entries, including a statement white sweatshirt from Giorgia & Johns, a lovely leaf print midi skirt and also, new shoes and leather jacket. 

Buon inizio settimana a tutti !. Pare che il vento stia diventando una costante, ormai. Ogni volta che esco e stiamo per scattare delle foto, ecco che inizia a soffiare, e non c'è spazzola o lacca che riesca a domare i miei capelli. Beh, dopotutto tutti sanno che Marzo è "pazzerello" ;)

Ero entrata in modalità Primavera e non vedevo l'ora di indossare e di mostrarvi questo look dal sapore bon ton, creato con le mie new entries, incluse una bianca felpa tulle e pietre di Giorgia & Johns, una midi skirt adorabile con stampa a foglie di palma e nuove scarpe e giubbottino in pelle. 

Blue coat on a windy day

Warning: this is a very windy post ! I went out for a walk and suddenly, a very cold wind started blowing. I was all happy because I was sporting my cobalt blue coat for the very first time, so I didn't mind much, I just tried to keep my hat on, as for a moment I was sure it would fly away.

I had been looking for a blue coat for quite a long time and, when I had almost given up, I found the perfect one, and - after all - wearing something I really like is one of the things that would make me feel warm and put together even in the middle of a wind storm ;)

Attenzione, post estremamente ventoso ! Ero uscita per una passeggiata quando un forte vento freddo ha iniziato a soffiare. Ero felice di indossare il mio cappotto blu cobalto per la prima volta, pertanto non mi sono infastidita più di tanto, ho solo cercato di non far volare via il mio adorato cappello, per un attimo ho pensato stesse per alzarsi in volo. 

Cercavo un cappotto blu da un bel po', e ho trovato quello perfetto proprio quando avevo smesso di cercare, e dopotutto, indossare qualcosa che mi piace un sacco è una delle cose che mi farebbero sentire a posto ed al calduccio anche nel bel mezzo di una tormenta ;)

Diane Von Furstenberg wrap dress

Diane Von Furstenberg celebrated, on January 10th, the opening of "Journey of a Dress," an exhibit honoring her famous signature dress she introduced in 1974: 40 years already for this feminine and flattering, dress that fastens with a simple tie at the waist, a dress that is in all fashion books and that became a symbol of women's liberation in the 1970s.

The exhibit at the Wilshire May Company Building is open until April 1st, featuring the designer's favorite dresses from throughout the decades, as well as new, limited edition dresses and exclusive portraits of the designer.

I thought it would be a good idea to honour the iconic wrap dress 40th birthday by wearing a Diane Von Furstenberg wrap dress myself. Mine is in woolen fabric, has a geometric print in red, black and white and I love it !.

Diane Von Furstenberg ha celebrato, lo scorso 10 gennaio, l'apertura di "Viaggio di un abito", una mostra che onora il famoso wrap dress che porta la sua firma inconfondibile e che ha ideato nel 1974: 40 anni di questo abito ultra femminile e facile da indossare che si chiude semplicemente con un nodo alla cintura, entrato di diritto nei libri di moda e diventato un simbolo di liberazione femminile negli anni '70.

La mostra presso il Wilshire May Company Bulding è aperta fino all'1 aprile, e si possono trovare gli abiti preferiti dalla stilista nel corso dei decenni, oltre ad una serie di abiti in edizione limitata creati apposta per l'occasione e ritratti esclusivi della designer. 

Ho pensato che fosse l'occasione giusta per festeggiare il quarantesimo compleanno dello wrap dress indossando io stessa questo modello iconico di abito di Diane Von Furstenberg. Il mio è in lana, ha una fantasia geometrica nei colori rosso, nero e bianco e io lo adoro !.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Lil Ukita bag

As most of you probably know already, I am a huge fan of colors. I love wearing black, always a classic, but there are days when I love to sport some really bold and colorful accessories, just like my brand new bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs "Lil Ukita" bag in pop pink. This bag, courtesy of hubby (hints are useful, lol), has become a classic piece in Marc by Marc Jacobs collection. Lil Ukitas come in so many colors and have a top handle, a detachable cross-body strap and a signature logo plaque detailing. Mine is in a very bright pink, a fuchsia color. I needed a bold pink bag in my life, and this one is perfect, not too big and not too small, both dressy and casual !.

Come molti di voi già avranno capito, sono una grande fan dei colori. Mi piace vestirmi di nero, un classico da sempre, ma ci sono giorni in cui mi piace portare accessori dalle tinte forti e molto colorate, proprio come la mia nuova borsa, la "Lil Ukita" Marc by Marc Jacobs nel colore pop pink. Questa borsa, regalatami (dietro piccolo suggerimento, lol !) dal maritino, è diventata uno dei pezzi classici nella collezione Marc by Marc Jacobs, viene prodotta in molti colori, ha sia il manico che una tracolla staccabile e una piccola placca con logo sul davanti. La mia è in un rosa molto acceso, praticamente un fucsia. Avevo bisogno di una borsa di questo colore nella mia vita e questa è perfetta, né troppo grande né troppo piccola, adatta sia a look più elaborati che a quelli casual !.

Fair Isle sweater

What are you up to ? I have spent less time online these days, mostly because I took advantage of my days off from work to see friends and to go out, and I needed to recharge my batteries. Now, sales are up in all italian shops and I should be out there looking for the bargain of my life, but before that it's time for another outfit post, this time it's casual look, perfect for running from a shop to another one, or just for a relaxing day with friends and family. I like the colors of this jumper that I decided to bring in this whole, vaguely ethnic, look . 

Che fate di bello ? In questi giorni sono stata un po' meno presente online, più che altro perché ho approfittato delle ferie per vedere gli amici e uscire di più, inoltre avevo bisogno di ricaricare le batterie. Ora i saldi sono iniziati in tutti i negozi italiani e dovrei essere fuori alla ricerca dell'affare della mia vita, ma prima è il momento per mostrarvi un nuovo outfit ! Stavolta si tratta di un look casual, perfetto sia per correre da un negozio all'altro che per una giornata da trascorrere in relax con amici e famiglia. Mi piacciono molto i colori di questo maglione che ho ripreso per tutto il look, evidenziandone il mood etnico.

Kenzo eye Kimono sweatshirt

After a couple of casual outfits, it's time for a bon ton look that, this time, has an asian vibe. This black and white outfit is indeed very simple and clean, the only statement piece being my Kenzo kimono style sweatshirt with the famous eye print, that comes back to the blog in this other shape. 

I could easily call this outfit "like a modern geisha, with an eye on the latest trends" ;)

Dopo un paio di outfit casual, è il momento di un look più bon ton che, questa volta, ha anche un mood asiatico. Questo outfit nei toni del bianco e nero ha infatti le linee semplici e pulite, l'unico capo vistoso è la mia felpa modello kimono Kenzo con la ormai famosa stampa occhio, che torna protagonista sul blog su questo altro modello di maglia.

Potrei chiamare questo look "come una moderna geisha, con un occhio agli ultimi trend" ;)

Go punk with plaid pants

Hey everyone ! As you can see, my plaid obsession goes on, and this time I want to show you an outfit that features plaid pants...this is probably the most extreme tartan piece of clothing I own. I decided to wear them with a hat and studded shoes, in this british-punk inspired look.

A comfortable and fun outfit I sported to a local chestnuts fair, with pics luckily shot before I started eating chestnuts like if there was no tomorrow, LOL !.

Come potete vedere, la mia ossessione per il tartan continua, questa volta vi voglio mostrare un outfit basato su pantaloni scozzesi, probabilmente il capo in tartan più estremo che possiedo. Ho deciso di indossarli con cappello e scarpe borchiate, per un look di ispirazione british-punk. 

Un outfit comodo e divertente che ho sfoggiato ad una fiera della castagna, con foto scattate (per fortuna) prima che cominciassi a mangiare castagne come se non ci fosse un domani, LOL !.

Hey everyone ! This is just a quick post to show you some of my latest beauty and make up purchases. First of all, I bet most of you image what is in that cute Chanel box above...I had already told you in a previous post that I wanted to buy them, and I did it ! I am talking about Chanel beauty serums, Le Jour, La Nuit and Le Weekend. I have decided to buy all of them and for that I have taken advantage of the box with the three of them together. I've been using them regularly and I already feel my skin is smoother and is glowing...I love them ! They are my latest obsession and also an awesome add to my beauty case and to my beauty daily routine.

Prima di tutto, scommetto che molti di voi già sanno cosa contiene quella bella scatola con il logo Chanel che vedete sopra...vi avevo già detto in un post precedente che volevo acquistarli, e l'ho fatto ! Sto parlando dei sieri di bellezza Chanel, Le Jour, La Nuit and Le Weekend. Ho deciso di prenderli tutti e perciò ho approfittato dell'offerta della scatola che li conteneva tutti e tre. Li sto usando regolarmente e sento già che la pelle è più liscia e morbida e il colorito più luminoso...li adoro ! Sono la mia ultima ossessione beauty e una fantastica aggiunta nel mio beauty case e nella mia routine quotidiana. 

Let them stare

Hello there, and happy Halloween !. There are times when the sky is too grey and the hours seems as dull as the wall of the office, where I spend most of my time surrounded by papers, dreaming big and having the need of not living a life too ordinary. Later, I go out and I cheer myself up wearing something that is not ordinary, and what if people look at me, only because I stand out from the crowd ?. My mantra is "Let them stare !".

So, when I got contacted by the lovely Anastasia Gelfman Silis, young, independent and very talented designer of her own clothing brand, Let them stare, to wear one of her garments, I accepted with joy. Here I am then, proudly wearing a Let them stare bow skirt, turning a normal afternoon into a special one thanks to this unique piece !.

Ciao a tutti e buon Halloween !. Ci sono giornate in cui il cielo è troppo grigio e le ore sembrano una uguale all'altra, senza colore come le mura dell'ufficio dove trascorro buona parte del mio tempo, circondata da carte, con tanti sogni e la necessità di non vivere una vita troppo ordinaria. Dopo, esco e mi consolo indossando qualcosa di assolutamente fuori dal comune, e che importa se qualcuno mi fissa solo perché ciò che porto non si uniforma alla massa ?. Il mio mantra è "lasciamoli guardare !".

Così, quando sono stata contattata dalla adorabile Anastasia Gelfman Silis, giovane stilista indipendente e molto talentuosa, il cui brand si chiama proprio Let them stare, per indossare una delle sue creazioni, ho accettato con gioia. Eccomi, dunque, con indosso una gonna con fiocco creata da lei per la sua etichetta Let them stare, in un pomeriggio diventato speciale grazie a questo pezzo così unico !.

Kenzo eye sweatshirt

 

As most of you surely know already, one of the biggest trends last year was Kenzo tiger jumper. I didn't buy it then, even tho I liked it. This year, Kenzo's newest design is the eye. I got really hooked on this trend, I have to say I like it a lot, even more than the tiger one, therefore I decided to buy this sweatshirt !. So, let me introduce you to my black Kenzo eye sweatshirt.

I will be wearing it with jeans, black pants, mini skirts...this time I opted for a statement maxi skirt bought on Asos, that somehow reminded me of Kenzo style. I could say...an eye catching look !.

Come molti di voi già sapranno, uno dei trend andati per la maggiore lo scorso anno è stata la maglia con tigre di Kenzo. Non la comprai, sebbene mi piacesse. Quest'anno, il nuovo design di Kenzo riguarda il ricamo di un occhio. Questo disegno mi è piaciuto tanto da subito, anche più della tigre, e ho deciso di cedere alla tentazione di comprare questa felpa nera, che vi presento oggi.

La indosserò con jeans o semplici pantaloni neri, ma anche con minigonne...questa volta ho optato per una maxi gonna particolare presa su Asos, che mi ricordava in qualche modo proprio lo stile Kenzo. Per un look che...salta subito all'occhio !.

Black and white tartan dress

Get ready to see a lot of check/tartan print this Fall/Winter. That's good news for me, because I love this trend, both with bright colors and a casual mood and also in a black and white, more "ladylike", version. In this new outfit post, I want to show you one of my latest tartan centered looks, with a black and white dress from Front Row shop. This webshop has amazing stuff at very affordable prices !. 

This is the kind of dresses I prefer: not too short, not too long, clean cut, easy to wear for daytime, even in the office. Since my life (and therefore, blog) is in technicolor, I couldn't help adding touches of red to this look !.

Preparatevi a vedere un sacco di stampe a quadri/scozzesi questo Autunno/Inverno. E' una ottima notizia per me, perché amo questo trend, sia con colori vivaci e versione casual che in una declinazione in bianco e nero, più chic. In questo nuovo post outfit voglio mostrarvi uno dei miei ultimi look centrato proprio sul tartan, con un abitino bianco e nero di Front Row shop.
Questo negozio online ha tante belle cose a prezzi veramente accessibili !. Questo è il tipo di abitino che preferisco: non troppo corto, né troppo lungo, dal taglio pulito, facile da indossare il giorno, adatto persino in ufficio. Dato che la mia vita (e, di conseguenza, il mio blog) è in technicolor, non sono proprio riuscita ad evitare di aggiungere tocchi di rosso a questo look !.

A Very Simple Fall preview

One of the things that I am more excited of, when it comes to a new season is, of course, sporting new clothes and accessories. After all, even thought the weather is still pretty warm and sunny, Fall is here already...and I couldn't wait any longer to try out my brand new, lovely coat, from Very Simple ! This outfit is indeed a very simple one: a colored coat, a plaid shirt, jeans, a stylish clutch and brand new ankle boots with a rock vibe.

Una delle cose che preferisco del cambio stagione è, ovviamente, il fatto di poter indossare nuovi abiti e accessori. Dopotutto, sebbene il meteo sia clemente e ancora abbastanza caldo, siamo ormai in Autunno...e io non potevo più aspettare di indossare il mio nuovo, carinissimo cappotto VerySimple !. Questo outfit è, infatti, molto semplice: un cappottino colorato, una camicia scozzese, jeans, una clutch e nuovi stivaletti dall'aria rock.

Coral dress and shoes

Every now and then, among a good girl look, a rocker or some other weird kind of outfit, I like to dress up "like a woman", (also to my hubby's delight), and leave it all simple, with a bodycon dress, heels and a clutch. Because simplicity is sexy, at least it's what they say.

In the past, when I wanted to dress up, I used to wear dark, mostly black dresses, until when I found out a little boldly colored dress can be as glamorous and more fun !. I bought this coral jacquard dress at Zara, a perfect dress for a day of holidays, especially if paired with heels of the same energetic color.

Ogni tanto, tra un outfit da brava ragazza, da rocker o qualsiasi altra diavoleria mi venga in mente, mi piace vestirmi semplicemente "da donna", (anche per la gioia di mio marito), con un abitino aderente, i tacchi e una borsa a mano. La semplicità è sexy, almeno è così che dicono.

In passato, quando avevo voglia di vestirmi in modo molto femminile, ero solita indossare soprattutto abiti scuri o proprio neri, fino a che ho scoperto il potere del colore, che può risultare altrettanto glam e più divertente !. Ho comprato questo abito color corallo jacquard da Zara, un abitino perfetto per una giornata di vacanza, specialmente se abbinato a scarpe dello stesso energetico colore.

Baroque pants & nude pumps

A windy afternoon and a pleasant walk by the sea with hubby. I was in a holiday mood, because it I had just spent two days off from work - sometimes even a couple of days can do so much for your inner peace, just to recharge a bit !.

I decided to go for this blue centered outfit wearing Insight indigo baroque print pants and a denim shirt from Zara. A relaxing blue centered outfit featuring nude pumps.

Un pomeriggio ventoso e una piacevole passeggiata vicino al mare con mio marito. Mi sentivo in modalità vacanziera, in quanto il fine settimana si univa a ben due giorni di ferie - a volte anche pochi giorni possono significare molto per staccare e rilassarsi un po' !. 

Ho scelto un outfit incentrato sul blu indossando pantaloni a stampa barocca indaco di Insight Denim ed una camicia jeans di Zara. Un outfit blu rilassante con pumps neutre.

New in: confessions of a makeupaholic !

First of all, let me express my deepest sympathy to the fellow beauty bloggers out there...people might think taking outfit pics can be a hassle, and that taking pics of make up and objects in general is very easy...actually it's not true ! I am a make up junkie and very often I would love to show off my latest beauty related purchases...but taking pics to blushes, palettes and lipsticks is not easy at all, most of the times it takes so much time and patience, moreover the result is not the one I wanted, colors seem different, the pics turn out blurred and so on. Add to this that taking pics to already used items is not the case, and I am too eager to try my new things to wait to take pics. Anyway, here we are with a few pics of my latest make up purchases, before I start using them for real and they can't be photographed anymore, LOL. Let me start with (pic above) Estée Lauder's Pure Color Five Color EyeShadow Palette "Pretty Naughty" and Pure Color Illumination Powder Gelée Blush "Tease". This blush is probably my fave purchase among the ones I am showing you !.

Innanzitutto, lasciatemi esprimere la mia profonda solidarietà a tutte le beauty bloggers della blogosfera...la gente potrebbe pensare che fare foto di outfit sia una fatica e che farle, invece, a make up ed oggetti inanimati sia semplice e veloce...assolutamente falso ! Io sono una grande amante del make up e spesso vi vorrei mostrare i miei nuovi acquisti in fatto di trucco...ma fare foto a blush, palette e rossetti non è affatto semplice, richiede molto tempo e pazienza, oltretutto il risultato è spesso diverso da quello sperato...colori che sembrano diversi, foto sfuocate e così via. Aggiungeteci il fatto che fare foto a prodotti giù usati non è il massimo, e spesso sono troppo impaziente di provare le mie nuove meraviglie !. Tutto ciò premesso, eccovi qualche foto dei miei ultimi acquisti in fatto di make up, prima che io li inizi ad usare e li renda impresentabili !. Iniziamo con (nella foto in alto)la palette primaverile di Estée Lauder "Pretty Naughty" e il blush rosa illuminante in formula gel-polvere "Tease". Questo blush è probabilmente l'acquisto che preferisco tra quelli che vi mostro in questo post !.

This Chanel palette "Eclats du soir" is from Christmas collection, bought as soon as it came out but I didn't have the courage to start using it, yet ! Love it :). Ooh la Lift from Benefit has already become my best friend, especially in the morning, it helps brightening the under-eye area and for me it works so well !. Then we have Dior nail polish "Gris Trianon" (already on my nails) and Chanel nail polish for Spring, Fracas (not tried yet).

Questa palette occhi di Chanel "Eclats du soir" proviene dalla collezione natalizia, comprata non appena comparsa nei negozi ma non l'ho ancora inziata ! La adoro :). Ooh La lift di Benefit è già diventato il mio migliore amico, specialmente al mattino, aiuta ad illuminare la zona sotto agli occhi e funziona davvero bene !. Poi abbiamo lo smalto Dior "Gris Trianon", già sulle mie unghie, e il nuovo smalto della collezione primaverile Chanel "Fracas" (non ancora provato).

My beloved Dior palette Cherie Bow #001 Rose Poudre it's so cute ! I also bought the Diorblush Cherie Bow Edition #659 in Tender Coral. I am pretty obsessed with coral blushes so it had to be mine !.

La mia agognata palette Dior Cherie Bow n. 001 Rose Poudre è troppo carina ! Di questa collezione ho preso anche il blush Cherie Bow Edition #659 in Tender Coral. Sono fissata con i blush corallo e l'ho dovuto fare mio !.

The stick you see on the left is a new product from Benefit, Fine-One-One, a sheer brightening cheek & lip color. I was so attracted by this one and hope it won't disappoint me, anyway I usually love all Benefit products !. The lipsticks are from Estée Lauder, Pure Color Vivid shine in Magnetic Magenta and Pink Riot, and the Chanel Rouge Allure lipstick is from Spring collection and it's called Envoutante. I love these lipsticks so badly !.

Lo stick che vedete a sinistra è un nuovo prodotto di Benefit, Fine-One-One, un illuminante colorato per guance e labbra che ha attirato subito la mia attenzione, spero non mi deluda ma di solito amo tutti i prodotti Benefit !. I rossetti sono di Estée Lauder, della serie Pure Color Vivid shine nei colori Magnetic Magenta e Pink Riot, e il rossetto Chanel Rouge Allure è della collezione primaverile, si chiama Envoutante.

These purchases are from a couple of months ago, two palettes, one from Urban Decay (Dangerous Palette) and the other one is from Too Faced, it's called the return of Sexy. The first one is cool but I found out I had half of those colors already in another UD palette, it seems they tend to repeat themselves and I blame it also on me for buying without thinking twice. The other palette is very cool but also very shimmery, I am guilty of that, too !. You can see the eye liner in the corner, it's from Too Faced and I've been using it so much lately, it's the 3 Way Lash Lining tool, perfect for cat eyes and I am gonna buy it again and again and...again ! ;). On the right corner, Essie's nail polish "Cute as a button".

In questa foto troviamo due palettes che risalgono ad un paio di mesi fa, una di Urban Decay (Dangerous palette) e l'altra di Too Faced, chiamata The Return of Sexy. La prima è molto bella ma ho scoperto solo dopo di avere già la metà degli stessi ombretti in un'altra palette UD, pare tendano a ripetersi e io a comprare troppo senza pensarci due volte. L'altra palette è stupenda anche se i colori sono troppo shimmer, mi dichiaro colpevole anche per questa !. Potete vedere, in un angolo, l'eye liner di Too Faced a tre punte "3 Ways Lash Lining Tool", perfetto per gli occhi "da gatta", che adoro e comprerò ancora, ancora e...ancora !.

I would still have other things to show you but I'll better stop. I love make up and whenever I enter into Sephora I am ready to spend too much on make up, sometimes I tell myself I have to use what I already have, then so many new products come out and new seasonal collections and BAM ! Here I am again, back at square one like a true makeupaholic :). Do you have my same addiction ? Do you own any of the products I have showed you in this post ? Do you plan to buy anything ?. Is there anything you think I should add to my newest purchases ? I am very curious to know !.

Avrei ancora tante cose da mostrarvi ma è meglio che mi fermi, ora. Il fatto è che adoro il make up e ogni volta che entro da Sephora sono pronta a fare danni...a volte mi dico che è meglio che usi tutte le cose che ho già prima di prenderne altre, poi escono nuovi prodotti, le collezioni stagionali e BAM ! Trendy and warm: my Parka jacket !

Some of you will surely remember my green Christmas wishlist.
Well, I am happy because I succeeded in having a few green items I really wanted, especially the trendiest winter coat of the moment: a Parka jacket !.
I've been obsessing over getting a warm Parka, an iconic jacket that would be stylish and comfortable at the same time, and finally I found it. What do you think about it ?.
This jacket is from a brand called Campo V and their Parka is called Sherpa 1953, it's been inspired by the great accomplishment happened on May 29th, 1953, when Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay reached the summit of Mount Everest, 29.028 feet above sea level, the highest spot on earth !.

Beh, sono felice perché sono riuscita a fare miei alcuni articoli "verdi" che volevo molto, specialmente il giaccone invernale più trendy del momento: il Parka !.
Continuavo a pensarci, dovevo assolutamente trovare un Parka che fosse caldo, stiloso e confortevole allo stesso tempo e l'ho finalmente trovato. Che ne pensate ?.

Another new entry in green is the bag you see, a green leather Prada duffle, a very special present I got that I love so much !. You can see it better in the pic below.
I matched the bag with brown Arfango ankle boots that have been waiting in my shoe closet for a long time.
This time I opted for a casual look, but I've seen the trend is wearing the Parka also with more elegant outfits, I am gonna try this for sure !.

Un'altra new entry in verde è la borsa che vedete, un bauletto in pelle martellata, un regalo speciale che mi piace tantissimo !. Potete vederla meglio nella foto sottostante.
Ho abbinato la borsa a stivaletti marroni di Arfango che attendevano di uscire con me da un bel po' di tempo.
Per questa volta ho scelto un abbinamento casual ma il trend del momento è abbinare il Parka anche ad indumenti più eleganti, proverò senz'altro anche questa versione !.

The sweater I am wearing underneath my Parka is from Northland and has loads of colors, as well as being pretty warm.
The Missoni scarf is quite an old purchase. Since I have my walk in closet I find things much more easily and I am so pleased with that !.

Il maglione che indossavo sotto al Parka è di Northland ed ha tanti colori vivaci oltre ad essere piuttosto caldo.
La sciarpa di Missoni è un acquisto abbastanza datato, l'ho ritrovata facilmente grazie alla cabina armadio, da quando l'ho organizzata trovare le cose è molto più facile e ne sono felice !.

When the air got more fresh, I was ready to wear a burgundy beanie. I have to confess I always have a beanie inside my bag when it's winter. I like to feel warm and also to get ready when the weather is humid !.
This bonnet is from Scotch and Soda, same brand as Maison Scotch and I have decided to buy it for myself even tho I found it under the male side, cause beanie hats are just a unisex item !.
Dressed this way I feel ready to live an adventure, not on Mount Everest but in a few shops, for sales hunting ! I think it requires strenght and courage, anyway, don't you ? :-P.

Quando l'aria si è fatta più fresca, ecco comparire un cappellino a cuffia bordeaux. Confesso di avere sempre un cappellino di questo genere in borsa, in inverno. Sono freddolosa e inoltre mi piace essere pronta ad ogni evenienza, incluso il tempo umido !.
Questo cappellino è di Scotch & Soda, stesso brand di Maison Scotch, e ho deciso di prenderlo per me sebbene trovato nel reparto uomo perché questo tipo di cappelli sono decisamente unisex !.
Vestita così mi sento pronta per un'avventura, non sul Monte Everest ma nei negozi per un po' di caccia ai saldi ! Credo che sia un'impresa che richieda forza e coraggio comunque, non credete anche voi ? ;-P.
