A touch of grunge rock style to give a boost to a pretty dull weekend spent inside, with Paramita Pujades dress and Smash! Hilla leggings. Plaid dress, black pants and studded boots. It's been snowing outside, and I had the time to take all the Christmas decoration off and also to think about this new year that, in my case, it's starting tomorrow with me being back to work and also back to usual routine. I always say I don't wanna make too many resolutions because then they end up unattended. It's said 80% of New Year's resolutions fail by February, after all. One of my resolutions is going back to the gym but this won't fail because I have been devoted to the gym for years now and I only stopped for one week these Christmas holidays. The other resolutions...who knows?

Un tocco di stile grunge rock per dare la carica a un weekend piuttosto spento trascorso in casa, con l'abito Paramita Pujades e i leggings Hilla di Smash!. Abito a quadri, pantaloni neri e stivaletti borchiati. Sta nevicando fuori e io ho avuto il tempo di togliere tutte le decorazioni natalizie e di pensare a questo nuovo anno che, per quanto mi riguarda, inizia domani con il ritorno al lavoro e alla solita routine. Dico sempre di non volermi esprimere con troppi propositi perché dopo lasciano il tempo che trovano. Dopotutto, si dice che l'80% dei propositi per il nuovo anno fallisca entro febbraio. Uno dei miei propositi è senz'altro tornare in palestra e non può fallire perché sono devota all'andare in palestra ormai da anni e mi sono fermata solo per una settimana nelle vacanze di Natale. Gli altri propositi...chissà?

Minions clothing: it is just for kids ? On this fashion blog, not really. Actually, there are plenty of minions clothes for adults, and I have had this denim Minions shirt in my closet for a while, at the time of the first "Despicable me" movie, so I decided to wear it under this chevron sweater for a soft mix of prints and a casual daytime weekend attire !. You either love or hate these little yellow critters, I have always liked them, even tho I admit I had highter expectations from their latest fully dedicated movie, and probably in a short time I will be sick and tired of seeing Minions everywhere, just as it happened with HelloKitty. In the meantime, they became part of my outfit, in small doses, because the easiest way to wear a statement print shirt is to wear it underneath a sweater. Obviously, a good amount of sef-irony helps a lot, too !.

Abbigliamento con i Minions: è solo per bambini ? Su questo fashion blog, assolutamente no. A dire il vero, c'è tanto abbigliamento con i Minions per adulti in giro, e io ho questa camicia in denim con i Minions da un bel po', al tempo del primo film "Cattivissimo me", per cui ho deciso di indossarla sotto un maglione chevron per un delicato mix di stampe e una mise casual da giorno per il weekend !. Queste creaturine gialle si amano o si odiano, io le ho sempre amate, sebbene mi aspettassi di più dal film interamente a loro dedicato e, probabilmente, tra un po' non ne potrò più di vedere Minions ovunque, come è successo con HelloKitty. Nel frattempo, sono diventati parte del mio outfit, in piccole dosi, perché il modo più facile di indossare una camicia a stampa particolare è indossarla sotto un maglione. Ovviamente, anche un sacco di autoironia aiuta !.

It is probably true, and since I think I am a very good girl, I can only try to look like a bad one on my fashion blog, ditching my beloved midi skirts and slingbacks and opting for a black, rock look. A touch of girly pink with my pink adidas Supercolor sneakers - already seen previously - and the writing on my t-shirt, as well as on my lips, with MAC Candy Yum Yum lipstick, to balance this casual outfit with Zara jeggings, blazer on a t-shirt and my beloved Balenciaga Work bag. Do I look bad enough ?.

I am a pretty shy person in spite of being a fashion blogger, and I didn't open this fashion blog to become internet famous, so take this Bershka sweatshirt ironically. This Mickey and Minnie mouse print sweatshirt was just the excuse to wear my new high waisted jeans from Zaful and my adidas Originals Stan Smith sneakers, for an 80s inspired casual look, as I did other times. I love to wander thru different decades thanks to fashion, and sure the 80s were years of some ugly trends, including the infamous shoulder pads, but those were also the years of great music, the famous top models, arcade videogames and the cheesiest tv shows !.

Sono una persona piuttosto timida sebbene io sia una fashion blogger, e non ho aperto questo fashion blog per diventare famosa su Internet, pertanto prendete pure questa felpa di Bershka con ironia. Questa felpa con stampa Minnie e Topolino è stata una scusa per indossare i miei nuovi jeans a vita alta di Zaful e le mie sneakers adidas Originals Stan Smith, per un look casual ispirato gli anni '80, come ho già fatto altre volte. Mi piace poter viaggiare nel tempo grazie alla moda, e sicuramente gli anni '80 hanno portato alcuni trend davvero brutti, come le celebri spalline  imbottite, ma erano anche gli anni di splendida musica, delle famose top model, i videogiochi arcade ed i telefilm più carini !.

Hey guys, happy weekend to you all ! What kind of look do you prefer to sport for the weekend ? Do you usually dress more elegant or laid back for your spare time ? I usually go out a lot on Saturdays, and I love to dress casual for daytime, usually adding a few statement pieces, just like I did in this case with this colorful color-blocked long sleeves faux fur jacket from Blackfive, my eyelets biker boots and a fun sweatshirt with a Coco Chanel sequined cartoon as well as the lettering "I don't give a chic !", that I see as an appeal to creating our own style and believing in ourselves.

Ciao a tutti e buon weekend ! Che tipo di look adottate per il fine settimana ? Vi vestite in modo molto elegante o più rilassato per il tempo libero ? Io di solito vado molto in giro di sabato, e mi piace vestirmi in modo casual durante il giorno, rendendo comunque il look particolare con qualche pezzo ad hoc, come questo coloratissimo eco-pellicciotto di Blackfive, i biker boots con gli occhielli ed una felpa divertente con una caricatura ricamata di Coco Chanel e la frase "I don't give a chic !", che interpreto come una esortazione a creare un nostro stile ed a credere in noi stessi.

Hey guys, how are you doing ? I have been relaxing for a couple of days, since it was my birthday, and now I am back to work and back to blogging big time ! This is maybe my favorite outfit from this Summer, a boho chic look with a maxi black and white skirt and neutral colors, with a touch of bold yellow with a statement top from Rosé a Pois, accessorized with my classic beige Panama hat from Ecua-Andino, the ecuadorian brand I am proud to be online ambassador.

This outfit takes me back to my holidays on the Amalfi Coast...ah, why does holiday time fly so fastly ? I wish I could live this way all the time ;)

Ciao a tutti, come state ? Io ho goduto di un paio di giorni di riposo, dato che è stato il mio compleanno, ed ora sono tornata al lavoro ed al blog con una nuova carica ! Questo che vi mostro è probabilmente il mio outfit preferito di tutta l'estate, un look molto boho chic con maxi gonna bianca e nera e colori neutrali, con un tocco di giallo vivace dato dal top particolare di Rosé a Pois, accessoriato da un cappello Panama beige di Ecua-Andino, il brand ecuadoriano del quale sono orgogliosa di essere ambasciatrice online. 

Questo outfit mi riporta indietro alle vacanze in costiera Amalfitana...ah, perché il tempo in vacanza sembra scorrere più velocemente ? Vorrei vivere sempre così ;).

Embroidered culottes in Ravello

What's better than being on holidays ?! Nothing can beat the feeling of having a few days of total freedom and relax in a lovely place. Sometimes, we don't need to catch a plane and leave to a very exotic country to enjoy a magical place. Ravello, in the Amalfi coast, is surely a rare gem...wonderful views, flowers everywhere, places with a lot of history and culture to visit, mild and sunny climate and great food make it a perfect holiday place, and also a perfect place to wear my embroidered culottes pants - a must have kind of pants that is gonna be trendy also this Fall - that I decided to wear with a fun t-shirt, my beloved platinum Lemaré slip-on Oxfords, my new red sunglasses and a beautiful Vitti Ferria Contin necklace.

Cosa è meglio di essere in vacanza ?! Niente può battere la consapevolezza di avere davanti a noi alcuni giorni di libertà totale e di relax in un posto bellissimo. Spesso, non c'è neanche bisogno di salire su di un aereo per qualche meta esotica per godersi un luogo magico. Ravello, sulla Costiera Amalfitana, è sicuramente una gemma da visitare...viste incredibili, fiori ovunque, luoghi ricchi di storia e di cultura da visitare, un clima mite e soleggiato e cibo eccellente rendono questa cittadina un luogo di vacanza perfetto, ed anche il luogo ideale per indossare i miei pantaloni ricamati modello culottes, un must have di questa Estate che ci seguirà anche nella stagione fredda - che ho deciso di indossare con una t-shirt spiritosa, le mie adorate Oxford color platino Lemaré modello slip-on, i miei nuovi occhiali da sole rossi ed una bellissima collana Vitti Ferria Contin.

Run like an ostrich !

Hey everyone ! I have had a few very busy days at work and today I want to show you a casual outfit featuring a few new items in my closet. 

I am sure you immediately noticed the cute ostrich on my mint t-shirt ! It's from the italian brand Sister & Sister, and I love this top ! This brand, born thanks a partnership between Rosy Gadda Conti and Simona Guarducci, produces lovely t-shirts with a great quality fabric and the illustrations are inspired by nature and all very cute and original. Everything is totally Made in Italy and produced in collaboration with small artisans, and I can really feel the difference wearing this piece of clothing. 

There were many beautiful designs to choose from, but as soon as I saw the ostrich I knew it had to be my choice...I like these animals because of their big eyes with long eyelashes...because of their ability to run fast (and running shoes are part of this look !) and maybe because sometimes I would like to do like them and bury my head in the sand to avoid my problems, LOL !

Ciao a tutti ! Come state ? Ho avuto un po' di giorni frenetici al lavoro ed oggi riesco finalmente a mostrarvi un outfit casual composto da qualche novità nel mio guardaroba.

Sono sicura che avrete immediatamente notato il carinissimo struzzo sulla t-shirt menta ! E' del brand italiano Sister & Sister, e adoro questa maglia ! C'erano tanti bei disegni tra i quali poter scegliere, ma non appena ho visto lo struzzo sapevo che sarebbe stato la mia scelta...questi animali mi piacciono troppo, con i loro occhioni dalle ciglia lunghissime...per la loro abilità nel correre (e le scarpe da running sono incluse in questo look !), e forse anche perché a volte mi piacerebbe essere come loro e nascondere la testa nella sabbia per evitare i problemi, LOL !.

Two looks, new Ruco Line boots

You aren't seeing double today ! I have actually decided to double myself for this outfit, by changing one piece of clothing only, it's a thing I often do when I know I am going to spend the whole day out of home, and it happens more often in this transitional time of the year, when the air can be warmer in the middle of the day and then, suddendly, it can turn very fresh. 

Two looks with the same pair of boots: at my feet I had my brand new Ruco Line "Ariel" boots for Spring/Summer 2014, this is a model I already have in a "heavier" grey suede for winter, and I couldn't help wanting a pair for Springtime. They can be perfect everyday, really, and I am a great fan of them !.

Non state vedendo doppio oggi ! Ho deciso di "raddoppiarmi" per questo outfit, cambiando solo un capo d'abbigliamento, è una cosa che faccio spesso quando so che trascorrerò gran parte della giornata fuori casa e a maggior ragione in periodi di transizione, quando l'aria sembra essersi scaldata nel mezzo della giornata ma, all'improvviso, torna ad essere fredda.

Due look con lo stesso paio di scarpe: ai piedi avevo i miei nuovi stivaletti Ruco Line "Ariel" della collezione Primavera/Estate 2014, un modello che adoro e che avevo già in versione più pesante, in camoscio grigio, per l'inverno, non potevo evitare di volerne un paio primaverile, sono scarpe perfette per tutti i giorni  e io ne sono una grande fan !.

Blue coat on a windy day

Warning: this is a very windy post ! I went out for a walk and suddenly, a very cold wind started blowing. I was all happy because I was sporting my cobalt blue coat for the very first time, so I didn't mind much, I just tried to keep my hat on, as for a moment I was sure it would fly away.

I had been looking for a blue coat for quite a long time and, when I had almost given up, I found the perfect one, and - after all - wearing something I really like is one of the things that would make me feel warm and put together even in the middle of a wind storm ;)

Attenzione, post estremamente ventoso ! Ero uscita per una passeggiata quando un forte vento freddo ha iniziato a soffiare. Ero felice di indossare il mio cappotto blu cobalto per la prima volta, pertanto non mi sono infastidita più di tanto, ho solo cercato di non far volare via il mio adorato cappello, per un attimo ho pensato stesse per alzarsi in volo. 

Cercavo un cappotto blu da un bel po', e ho trovato quello perfetto proprio quando avevo smesso di cercare, e dopotutto, indossare qualcosa che mi piace un sacco è una delle cose che mi farebbero sentire a posto ed al calduccio anche nel bel mezzo di una tormenta ;)

Hello everyone, how are you ? This time we have fashion recipe for an afternoon of shopping here on the blog: take a black and white skater skirt, add a mustard sweatshirt, a fancy panama hat, a roomy leather bag, comfortable but trendy shoes and you are all set ! Oh, and it also takes a patient photographer to cook everything to perfection ;).

Questa volte abbiamo una ricetta fashion per un pomeriggio di shopping quì sul blog: prendete una mini svolazzante bianca e nera, aggiungete una felpa color senape, un bel cappello panama, una borsa spaziosa in pelle e scarpe comode ma trendy ed è fatta ! Oh, ovviamente serve anche un fotografo paziente per cucinare il tutto alla perfezione ;).

Day to Night disco dress

I have plenty of dresses in my closet that I bought on impulse. Most of them aren't just "everyday dresses", they're too elegant or, anyway, quite eccentric and I did't even know when I would have been able to wear them. I bought them because I liked them, I simply knew that soon or later I could have sported them. This is what happened with this French Connection piece: the metallic fabric finish and the purple animalier print didn't make this an everyday dress, but it was perfect from going day to night, from an evening cocktail up to a night at the disco ;).

Ho diversi abiti nel mio armadio che ho comprato di impulso. Molti di essi non sono adatti per tutti i giorni perché troppo eleganti o un po' eccentrici e li ho comprati senza avere idea di quando avrei potuto indossarli. Li ho scelti solo perché mi piacevano, sapevo semplicemente che, prima o poi, avrei avuto l'occasione di sfoggiarli. Questo è quanto è accaduto con questo abitino French Connection: il tessuto dal finish metallizzato e la fantasia animalier in viola non ne fanno di certo un abito per tutti i giorni, ma è stato perfetto per il passaggio dal giorno alla notte, da cocktail serale fino alla notte in disco ;).

Casual & Fun with leopard print Vans

I find myself loving casual outfits more and more, especially when I have to do so many things and there's such a little time...and I need to dress up in a comfy, practical way. Comfortable dressing, to me, is a fun experience and it doesn't mean opening the closet and throwing a sweatshirt and jeans on myself without thinking too much. 

Here we are with a casual outfit, introducing my new leopard print Vans shoes, definately one of the comfiest pair of shoes I have ever had in my life !. 

Sto scoprendo di amare gli outfit casual sempre di più, specialmente quando esco per fare diverse cose in pochissimo tempo e ho bisogno di sentirmi comoda e pratica. Vestirsi in modo comodo per me è divertente e non significa optare per una felpa a caso e un paio di jeans senza pensarci su !. 

Ecco un outfit casual nel quale vi presento le mie nuove scarpe Vans a stampa leopardo, sicuramente tra le scarpe più comode mai avute in vita mia !.

Street style: camouflage feather pants

I've been looking forward to wearing these camouflage feather print pants from Maison Scotch since the first moment I bought them, and I have been wearing them for the first time during my holidays on the mountains. I love this print cause it's a bit different from the usual camouflage print and I have to say I usually love Maison Scotch items ;).
In these pics I am in the lovely town of Brixen - Bressanone, sporting a comfortable look, perfect for a walk in town looking at monuments and...shops !.

Non vedevo l'ora di indossare questi pantaloni a stampa camouflage effetto piume di Maison Scotch dal primo momento che li ho comprati e li ho indossati per la prima volta nella mia vacanza in montagna. Amo questa stampa perché non è la solita stampa mimetica e devo dire che solitamente adoro tutto ciò che è Maison Scotch ;).
In queste foto sono nella adorabile cittadina di Bressanone - Brixen, con un look comodo, perfetto per una passeggiata tra monumenti e...negozi !.

I have decided to wear my new pants with this studded Zara sweater and also matched them with my good old Ash chain sneakers. My black Balenciaga is a loyal companion during my trips because it's so easy to store it in my suitcase and also because it's VERY large !.
These pants are skinny and the fabric is so soft. I will personally wear them also with high heeled pumps for a more sophisticated look, otherwise I think they are perfect with bikers, what do you think ?.
I have prepared a little set inspired by this simple outfit below.

Ho deciso di indossare i miei nuovi pantaloni con questa maglia borchiata di Zara e li ho abbinati con le mie vecchie sneakers con catene di Ash. La mia Balenciaga nera è fedele compagna durante i miei viaggi perché è facile da mettere in valigia e perché è molto capiente !.
Questi pantaloni sono skinny e il tessuto è molto morbido. Personalmente li indosserò anche con scarpe dal tacco alto per un look più sofisticato, altrimenti credo che si abbineranno perfettamente anche a dei bikers, che ne pensate ?.
Ho preparato un set ispirato da questo outfit semplice nell'immagine sottostante.

Since my trips always lead to a new restaurant, let me share with you a little review of the fantastic place we tried in Bressanone - Brixen. This restaurant is called "Finstenwirt" (german) or "Oste Scuro" (in italian) and it's really great ! We had a very romantic lunch in their stube room, with excellent food and wine as well as a cozy atmospheare and a perfect service. Ready for a few pics ? Here they are !.

Siccome le mie gite conducono sempre ad un nuovo ristorante, volevo condividere con voi un posto fantastico provato a Bressanone - Brixen. Il ristorante si chiama "Finstenwirt" (tedesco) o "Oste Scuro" in italiano ed è davvero ottimo ! Abbiamo pranzato romanticamente nella loro stanza "stube", con cibo e vino ottimi oltre ad una atmosfera accogliente ed ottimo servizio. Pronti per un po' di foto ? Eccole !.

Teal dress and feather necklace

Teal is one of my fave colors and a couple of days ago I had the chance to wear this teal dress I bought at Patrizia Pepe. I am just in love with this brand, whenever I enter one of their onebrand shops I feel like buying everything !.
The feather necklace is from Stradivarius, instead, and is also in teal color as well as the nail polish, named "Tempted by Teal" from a Sephora by OPI collection "Garden of Good and Evil Collection".
I actually got asked for the name of the polish on twitter, I often post some pics on Instagram...do you also have it ? If you wanna take a look or follow me, my username on Instagram is princessvalelavale ;-).

Il color verde petrolio è senza dubbio uno dei miei colori preferiti e un paio di giorni fa ho avuto l'occasione di indossare questo abito color petrolio comprato da Patrizia Pepe. Adoro questo brand e ogni volta che entro nel negozio monomarca rischio di uscirne con qualche acquisto !.
La collana piumata è di Stradivarius, color petrolio come l'abito e come lo smalto Sephora by OPI in versione mini - il nome è "Tempted by Teal" dalla collezione di miniature "Garden of Good and Evil".

I am still wearing boots (in this case, Cesare Paciotti boots), cause it's doesn't seem like Spring has come yet and you should know by now that I am not the kind of blogger that has the courage of going out in light clothes/shoes if it's not warm outside.
Be sure I can't wait to wear all the Springtime items I have already bought, including a pair of pale pink pumps I just bought at Fabi, I love them ! I should also stop buying things in mint color...got slightly obsessed with it, I have to confess, and soon you're gonna see it !.

Sto indossando ancora gli stivali (in questo caso, sono di Cesare Paciotti ) perché la Primavera non sembra arrivata e dovreste ormai sapere di me che non sono il tipo di blogger che ha il coraggio di uscire in abiti leggeri e scarpe aperte se non fa abbastanza caldo fuori.
Sappiate che non vedo l'ora di poter indossare tutti gli abiti primaverili che ho già acquistato, incluse un paio di décolleté color rosa pallido che ho preso da Fabi e che adoro ! Dovrei smettere inoltre di comprare cose color menta...sono diventata leggermente ossessionata da questo colore, devo confessarlo, e presto lo vedrete !.

The Captchas issue

I just wanted to ask you something...aren't you annoyed by all those captchas you have to write down whenever you are commenting on another blog ? Things got worse since they made them even difficult, at least on Blogger hosted websites. You can turn them off to make it easier for your visitors to comment - I would like you to join me and other bloggers that already turned them off in their personal settings.
Without evil Captchas, your comments will likely to increase in quantity and in any case it will be a nice gesture towards your followers/readers !. I would like to know your opinion about this issue :-). One thing is sure, I am proud Fashion and Cookies is a Captchas-free blog !.

La questione Captchas

Vorrei chiedervi una cosa...non siete infastiditi da tutti i captchas che siete costretti a scrivere ogni volta che andate a commentare un altro blog ? Le cose sono peggiorate da quando, almeno sui siti relativi a Blogger, li hanno resi più lunghi e difficili da leggere. Potete eliminarli per rendere più facili i commenti dei vostri lettori - vorrei invitarvi a farlo, come ho già fatto io e hanno fatto molti bloggers che li hanno deselezionati dal pannello di controllo del proprio blog.
Senza i malefici Captchas, è probabile che i vostri commenti aumentino e, soprattutto, sarà un gesto gentile verso i vostri followers/lettori !. Mi piacerebbe leggere la vostra opinione al riguardo :-). Di una cosa sono sicura: sono orgogliosa che Fashion and Cookies sia un blog libero dai Captchas !.
