Blogging tips: stop the Captchas !

If you still have those annoying little captchas on your blog, one of the best blogging tips I feel like giving you is this one...stop the captchas !.
A CAPTCHA - as most of you surely know already - shows a random string usually in image format which the user has to type to submit a form. This is a simple problem for (seeing) humans, but a very hard problem for computers, so captchas are used to prevent SPAM, that's why we are often asked to prove we're human (LOL).
We happen to find captchas very often when we comment on the other blogs, and lately they've started to be even longer and harder to read, making it very difficult and slow to post comments. The problem is getting VERY annoying.
I wanna encourage all of you once again to STOP the Captchas from your blogs now, it's easy and it will increase your comments and surely be a kind thought for your readers !.
To do that, if you have a Blogger blog, just tur off the word verification under comments setting in your dashboard !. I did it a long time ago and I can tell you spam is not a problem at all, so go on and do it !. I am here for advice if you need to find out how to remove captchas !.
Feel free to put the image I created above on your blog to let everyone know you removed the captchas from your blog, I made a small one and will link to this post to encourage more and more bloggers to take those evil Captchas down ! Here's the code:

Se avete ancora i fastidiosissimi captchas sul vostro blog, uno dei migliori suggerimenti per il blog che posso darvi è questo: fermate i Captchas !.
Un Captcha è - come la maggior parte di voi già sa perfettamente - una serie di parole e/o numeri messi a caso, in formato immagine, che devono essere ricopiati quando si compila un form, al fine di evitare lo spam, in quanto per i computer non è affatto semplice leggerli (proprio per questo spesso ci viene chiesto di dimostrare che siamo umani !).
Incontriamo i captchas molto spesso quando commentiamo altri blog e, ultimamente, sono diventati ancora più lunghi e difficili da leggere, rendendo veramente lenta e difficile il postare dei commenti. Il problema è diventato veramente fastidioso.
Vorrei incoraggiarvi ancora una volta a togliere i Captchas dai vostri blog adesso, è facile e oltre ad essere un gesto gentile per i vostri commentatori, sarà utile a incoraggiare i commentatori pigri che rinunciano pur di non scrivere i captchas !.
Per farlo, se avete un blog su Blogger, basta che nella bacheca decidete di togliere la spunta a "verifica parole nei commenti", io l'ho fatto da molto tempo e lo spam non è affatto un problema. Se non riuscite a farlo e avete problemi potete chiedere aiuto nei commenti !.
Se vi piace, potete inserire l'immagine che ho creato sopra per dire a tutti che il vostro blog è libero dai captchas, basta copiare e incollare il codice html che trovate sopra nella finestrella per farlo apparire nella vostra pagina !. E ricordate...diffondete il verbo...fermate i captchas !.

Teal dress and feather necklace

Teal is one of my fave colors and a couple of days ago I had the chance to wear this teal dress I bought at Patrizia Pepe. I am just in love with this brand, whenever I enter one of their onebrand shops I feel like buying everything !.
The feather necklace is from Stradivarius, instead, and is also in teal color as well as the nail polish, named "Tempted by Teal" from a Sephora by OPI collection "Garden of Good and Evil Collection".
I actually got asked for the name of the polish on twitter, I often post some pics on Instagram...do you also have it ? If you wanna take a look or follow me, my username on Instagram is princessvalelavale ;-).

Il color verde petrolio è senza dubbio uno dei miei colori preferiti e un paio di giorni fa ho avuto l'occasione di indossare questo abito color petrolio comprato da Patrizia Pepe. Adoro questo brand e ogni volta che entro nel negozio monomarca rischio di uscirne con qualche acquisto !.
La collana piumata è di Stradivarius, color petrolio come l'abito e come lo smalto Sephora by OPI in versione mini - il nome è "Tempted by Teal" dalla collezione di miniature "Garden of Good and Evil".

I am still wearing boots (in this case, Cesare Paciotti boots), cause it's doesn't seem like Spring has come yet and you should know by now that I am not the kind of blogger that has the courage of going out in light clothes/shoes if it's not warm outside.
Be sure I can't wait to wear all the Springtime items I have already bought, including a pair of pale pink pumps I just bought at Fabi, I love them ! I should also stop buying things in mint color...got slightly obsessed with it, I have to confess, and soon you're gonna see it !.

Sto indossando ancora gli stivali (in questo caso, sono di Cesare Paciotti ) perché la Primavera non sembra arrivata e dovreste ormai sapere di me che non sono il tipo di blogger che ha il coraggio di uscire in abiti leggeri e scarpe aperte se non fa abbastanza caldo fuori.
Sappiate che non vedo l'ora di poter indossare tutti gli abiti primaverili che ho già acquistato, incluse un paio di décolleté color rosa pallido che ho preso da Fabi e che adoro ! Dovrei smettere inoltre di comprare cose color menta...sono diventata leggermente ossessionata da questo colore, devo confessarlo, e presto lo vedrete !.

The Captchas issue

I just wanted to ask you something...aren't you annoyed by all those captchas you have to write down whenever you are commenting on another blog ? Things got worse since they made them even difficult, at least on Blogger hosted websites. You can turn them off to make it easier for your visitors to comment - I would like you to join me and other bloggers that already turned them off in their personal settings.
Without evil Captchas, your comments will likely to increase in quantity and in any case it will be a nice gesture towards your followers/readers !. I would like to know your opinion about this issue :-). One thing is sure, I am proud Fashion and Cookies is a Captchas-free blog !.

La questione Captchas

Vorrei chiedervi una cosa...non siete infastiditi da tutti i captchas che siete costretti a scrivere ogni volta che andate a commentare un altro blog ? Le cose sono peggiorate da quando, almeno sui siti relativi a Blogger, li hanno resi più lunghi e difficili da leggere. Potete eliminarli per rendere più facili i commenti dei vostri lettori - vorrei invitarvi a farlo, come ho già fatto io e hanno fatto molti bloggers che li hanno deselezionati dal pannello di controllo del proprio blog.
Senza i malefici Captchas, è probabile che i vostri commenti aumentino e, soprattutto, sarà un gesto gentile verso i vostri followers/lettori !. Mi piacerebbe leggere la vostra opinione al riguardo :-). Di una cosa sono sicura: sono orgogliosa che Fashion and Cookies sia un blog libero dai Captchas !.

YSL Rouge Pure Couture Glossy Stain: Pure Love !

It's official ! I have fallen in love with Yves Saint Laurent's Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stains ! I had to share this with you ! This glossy stain combines the long wearing power of a stain and the glossy finish of a gloss. I couldn't believe my eyes when I first tried it !.
It works without making my lips dry, something I usually hate...I have it in two colors (for now): #13 - Rose Tempura and #15 - Rose Vynil (you can see #15 in the pic above and #13 is in the pic below). I prefer #15 cause it's a nice shade of pink that I can wear all the time, #13 is more of a reddish fuchsia and it's perfect for a night out, but I think I am gonna buy some more colors soon !.
I hate it when my lipsticks wears off so soon and it doesn't happen at all with those Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stains !.

E' ufficiale ! Mi sono innamorata dei Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stains di Yves Saint Laurent ! Dovevo condividere questa mia nuova ossessione con voi ! Questi "glossy stain" combinano la lunga durata propria dei lip stains alla lucidità propria dei gloss.
Non potevo credere ai miei occhi quando l'ho provato la prima volta ! Funziona davvero senza seccare le labbra, cosa che odio...per ora ne ho due: il n. 13 - Rose Tempura e il n. 15 - Rose Vynil (il n. 15 è nella foto sopra, il n. 13 nell'immagine sotto). Tra i due preferisco il n. 15 in quanto si tratta di una bella gradazione di rosa per me più portabile di giorno, invece il 15 è un fucsia-rosso che trovo perfetto per una serata speciale, ma credo proprio che ne comprerò altri !.
Odio quando il rossetto va via subito e non accade di certo con questi Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stains !.

One year of blogging !

Happy first birthday Fashion and Cookies !

Time does passes by fastly...Today this blog is celebrating one year of blogging !. Exactly one year ago today, I launched this blog and was having my first, shy attempt of a post on blogspot.
I initially posted in my first language only, italian, but I soon started to blog also in english (by the way, thanks for overlooking my grammar mistakes !) and I started also to post the pictures of my outfits...for a person very privacy concerned like me it was a pretty unusual and new thing !.
In one year of blogging I've learned so many new things, met new extraordinary people and I keep learning every day. If this experience keeps being so positive it's mostly thanks to YOU, readers and followers, people commenting me and giving feedback. I used to keep a diary when I was a teenager, and also had scrapbooks with inspiring collages...but I kept all those things to myself, now it's so good to share them with other people from all over the globe and I am very thankful for each of my readers !.
Of course, there's no birthday without presents, and I will be launching a special birthday giveaway to thank my followers for being there for me, as soon as the Zeleb giveaway ends (by the way, the Zeleb giveaway to win a party dress is gonna end on Wednesday 1st February, so don't forget to join it ! Buon primo compleanno, Fashion and Cookies !

Il tempo passa veramente in fretta...Oggi questo blog celebra un anno di vita ! Esattamente un anno fa ho lanciato il mio blog e ad un anno fa risale il mio primo, timido tentativo di post su blogspot.
Inizialmente postai solo nella mia lingua madre, l'italiano, ma presto ho iniziato a scrivere anche in inglese (grazie se passate sopra ai miei errori grammaticali !) e anche a postare le foto dei miei outfits personali...per una persona fissata con la privacy come me è stato un bel passo avanti ed una cosa sicuramente nuova !.
In un anno di blog ho imparato tante cose nuove, incontrato tante persone straordinarie e continuo ad imparare ogni giorno !. Se questa esperienza è così positiva è soprattutto grazie a VOI, lettori e followers, persone che commentate e mi date feedback su quello che posto. Quando ero una teenager avevo un diario e anche alcuni album di appunti e di collage che, però, tenevo solo per me...ora è così bello poter condividere i miei pensieri e le mie passioni con altre persone provenienti da tutto il mondo e sono molto grata per ognuno dei miei lettori !.
Ovviamente, non c'è compleanno senza regali, quindi lancerò un nuovo Giveaway di compleanno non appena il Giveaway Zeleb finirà, per ringraziare i followers del blog ! (a proposito, il Giveaway per vincere un abito Zeleb finisce mercoledì 1 febbraio, pertanto non dimenticate di partecipare ! Cliccate qui !).

Il widget dei followers non si visualizza, al suo posto solo uno spazio bianco, accade a questo e a molti altri blog, posso ancora vedere i miei 391 followers se entro con Blogger in bacheca ma è impossibile per ora iscriversi al blog...aspettando che Blogger ripari il danno - speriamo presto - ho deciso di aggiungere anche Bloglovin al mio blog, come molti altri blog hanno già fatto ! Per favore, se mi seguite con Google, aggiungete questo blog anche a Bloglovin, lasciatemi un messaggio quì sotto e io vi seguirò anche su Bloglovin se lo avete !.
