It is not easy to find the right western clothes, but lately we are luckier thanks to online shopping and also thanks to fashion trends that made many brands go for a country mood with their collections. Let's talk about country western clothes and accessories with a transitional western style outfit, starting from this new country chic outfit featuring a beautiful ba&sh Paris dress that I love so much. I styled this floral dress with a beautiful Patrizia Pepe western bag, a pair of cowgirl boots and a boater felt hat from australian brand Lack of Color. The dress is exquisitely tailored and I have fallen in love with all ba&sh Paris design, therefore I cannot wait to buy something from the incoming Fall collection!.

Una cowgirl in Italia ha una vita più difficile. Non è sempre facile trovare i giusti capi western, ma ultimamente siamo più fortunate grazie a una maggiore facilità nello shopping online e anche grazie alle mode che fanno scegliere a sempre più brand un mood country per le loro collezioni. Parliamo di abiti e accessori country western con questo outfit western style di transizione, iniziando da questo nuovo outfit country chic con questo bellissimo abito di ba&sh Paris che adoro. Ho abbinato questo abito floreale con una bella borsa western di Patrizia Pepe, un paio di stivali da cowgirl e un cappello modello boater in feltro del brand australiano Lack of Color. L'abito è cucito meravigliosamente e mi sono innamorata di tutto lo stile ba&sh Paris, al punto che non vedo l'ora di comprare qualcosa dalla collezione autunnale!

A sporty outfit for today's post on my fashion blog, with a special pair of print leggings arrived from Melbourne, Australia, from the amazing online clothing webstore Pins to Kill and my Nike Roshe Run sneakers. When I found out about Pins to Kill, I have been immediately intrigued by their philosophy: they specialise in custom leggings and encourage the women to go after their dreams and interests. On their website you can upload your own art and design and have your own customized leggings prepared or either you can pick, just like I did with this scattered leaf print leggings, a pair with among their designs. Pins to Kill leggings are worn from ballerinas, athletes, pro surfers, hip hop dancers and in general, people who are not afraid to chase after their own dreams and also to push their limits. I have been wearing my leggings with pride at the gym, where I am proud for the results I have been achieving, of the way I take good care of myself. I learned that strong is the new skinny and we must sweat to have our results, I have a better relationship with my body and therefore I am proud of it ;-)

Un outfit sporty per il post di oggi sul mio fashion blog, con un paio di leggings stampati molto speciali, arrivati direttamente da Melbourne, Australia, dal fantastico shop online Pins to Kill e le sneakers Nike Roshe Run. Quando ho scoperto Pins to Kill, sono rimasta immediatamente colpita dalla filosofia del brand: sono specializzati in leggings personalizzati, e incoraggiano le donne a perseguire i loro sogni e interessi. Sul loro sito potete caricare le vostre stampe e disegni e ricevere dei leggings personalizzati o potete scegliere, come ho fatto io con questa stampa con foglie sparpagliate, una delle fantasie già disponibili. Half sleeve peplum blazer

Hello, everybody :) As I told you already, I am quite an impulsive buyer. When I found myself looking at this half sleeve blazer jacket with a peplum detail, I thought for a second that being half sleeve it wasn't as useful as a "normal" jacket, but it was too late as I was already in love with its beautiful design and the lovely apricot color...and without knowing how to wear it yet, I bought it straight away.

I do not regret my purchase at all, cause I love it and I found out it looked good with many things ! Skinny jeans and heels were an option, but here I wanna show you this statement blazer worn with a black and white checked dress.

Ciao a tutti :) E' tempo di un nuovo post outfit. Come già saprete, sono una compratrice impulsiva. Quando ho messo gli occhi su questo blazer a mezza manica con peplo, ho pensato solo per un secondo che, essendo a maniche corte, non fosse utile quanto una giacca "normale", ma ormai era tardi: ero già innamorata del suo design particolare e del bellissimo color albicocca...e, senza sapere ancora come abbinarlo, l'ho comprato senza indugi. 

Non rimpiango affatto il mio acquisto, mi piace molto e ho scoperto che si abbina facilmente a molti capi ! Jeans skinny e tacchi erano una delle opzioni, ma in questo post voglio mostrarvi questo blazer dal taglio particolare indossato su un abitino a quadri bianco e nero.

Trend alert: denim shirt

I had these pics in my pink hard disk still from my Easter vacation spent in Sorrento, the place where we took them is very dear to me because it's the same place hubby and I got married in  July 2011, the Cloister of San Francesco, a very well preserved medieval cloister in town centre. Everytime I go back there, sweet memories of that day strike me !.
This outfit is featuring one of the most versatile and useful pieces in a wardrobe, to my opinion: a denim shirt. The denim shirt trend is pretty hot right now, but I have always had a few in my closet, I love such shirts and this is the perfect time of the year to wear them !.

Queste foto, ancora nel mio hard disk rigorosamente rosa, attendevano di essere postate dalle mie vacanze pasquali a Sorrento; sono state scattate in un luogo a me particolarmente caro, perché è dove mi sono sposata, a luglio 2011, il Chiostro di San Francesco, un Chiostro di origine medioevale molto ben conservato, nel centro della cittadina. Ogni volta che ritorno in quel luogo, dolci ricordi invadono la mia mente ed il mio cuore !.
Questo look si basa su uno dei capi più versatili e utili, secondo me: la camicia di jeans. Il trend della camicia in denim è molto attuale, ma io ne ho sempre avute diverse nel mio armadio, mi piacciono molto e questo, dopotutto, è il periodo migliore dell'anno per indossarne una !.

Fuchsia and red mini dress, taupe boots

March is being such a crazy month...the weather is sunny when I am in the office, and suddendly very rainy when I am out ! I suppose many of you are, just like me, tired of wearing winter clothes...but it's not warm yet, so my way to express my happiness when I am out on a sunny day is to add some vibrant color to my outfit, and this Custo mini dress has it all: a fun print, vibrant colors a 60s inspired shape !.

Questo mese di marzo si sta comportando in modo pazzo...c'è il sole quando sono in ufficio e, improvvisamente, inizia a piovere quando esco ! Credo che la maggior parte di voi sia, come me, stanca di indossare abiti invernali...ma non fa ancora abbastanza caldo, per cui il mio modo di esprimere la mia felicità per essere fuori in una giornata di sole è aggiungere dei colori accesi al mio look, e questo mini abito di Custo ha sia una stampa divertente che colori che definirei "energizzanti", oltre ad un design molto anni '60 !.

Teal dress and feather necklace

Teal is one of my fave colors and a couple of days ago I had the chance to wear this teal dress I bought at Patrizia Pepe. I am just in love with this brand, whenever I enter one of their onebrand shops I feel like buying everything !.
The feather necklace is from Stradivarius, instead, and is also in teal color as well as the nail polish, named "Tempted by Teal" from a Sephora by OPI collection "Garden of Good and Evil Collection".
I actually got asked for the name of the polish on twitter, I often post some pics on Instagram...do you also have it ? If you wanna take a look or follow me, my username on Instagram is princessvalelavale ;-).

Il color verde petrolio è senza dubbio uno dei miei colori preferiti e un paio di giorni fa ho avuto l'occasione di indossare questo abito color petrolio comprato da Patrizia Pepe. Adoro questo brand e ogni volta che entro nel negozio monomarca rischio di uscirne con qualche acquisto !.
La collana piumata è di Stradivarius, color petrolio come l'abito e come lo smalto Sephora by OPI in versione mini - il nome è "Tempted by Teal" dalla collezione di miniature "Garden of Good and Evil".
Il nome dello smalto mi era stato chiesto su Twitter, dove spesso posto foto fatte con Instagram, un'applicazione che adoro...lo usate anche voi ? In caso vogliate dare uno sguardo o seguirmi, il mio username su Instagram è princessvalelavale ;-).

I am still wearing boots (in this case, Cesare Paciotti boots), cause it's doesn't seem like Spring has come yet and you should know by now that I am not the kind of blogger that has the courage of going out in light clothes/shoes if it's not warm outside.
Be sure I can't wait to wear all the Springtime items I have already bought, including a pair of pale pink pumps I just bought at Fabi, I love them ! I should also stop buying things in mint color...got slightly obsessed with it, I have to confess, and soon you're gonna see it !.

Sto indossando ancora gli stivali (in questo caso, sono di Cesare Paciotti ) perché la Primavera non sembra arrivata e dovreste ormai sapere di me che non sono il tipo di blogger che ha il coraggio di uscire in abiti leggeri e scarpe aperte se non fa abbastanza caldo fuori.
Sappiate che non vedo l'ora di poter indossare tutti gli abiti primaverili che ho già acquistato, incluse un paio di décolleté color rosa pallido che ho preso da Fabi e che adoro ! Dovrei smettere inoltre di comprare cose color menta...sono diventata leggermente ossessionata da questo colore, devo confessarlo, e presto lo vedrete !.

The Captchas issue

I just wanted to ask you something...aren't you annoyed by all those captchas you have to write down whenever you are commenting on another blog ? Things got worse since they made them even difficult, at least on Blogger hosted websites. You can turn them off to make it easier for your visitors to comment - I would like you to join me and other bloggers that already turned them off in their personal settings.
Without evil Captchas, your comments will likely to increase in quantity and in any case it will be a nice gesture towards your followers/readers !. I would like to know your opinion about this issue :-). One thing is sure, I am proud Fashion and Cookies is a Captchas-free blog !.

La questione Captchas

Vorrei chiedervi una cosa...non siete infastiditi da tutti i captchas che siete costretti a scrivere ogni volta che andate a commentare un altro blog ? Le cose sono peggiorate da quando, almeno sui siti relativi a Blogger, li hanno resi più lunghi e difficili da leggere. Potete eliminarli per rendere più facili i commenti dei vostri lettori - vorrei invitarvi a farlo, come ho già fatto io e hanno fatto molti bloggers che li hanno deselezionati dal pannello di controllo del proprio blog.
Senza i malefici Captchas, è probabile che i vostri commenti aumentino e, soprattutto, sarà un gesto gentile verso i vostri followers/lettori !. Mi piacerebbe leggere la vostra opinione al riguardo :-). Di una cosa sono sicura: sono orgogliosa che Fashion and Cookies sia un blog libero dai Captchas !.
