Leopard print and mirrored sunglasses

How to save a day of holiday when most of the clothes you took when you packed were meant for a warmer day, and it still feels like winter ? Try with a statement coat ! This is what I did on Easter day in Sorrento, when I opted for my leopard print coat on a cobalt blue mini dress.

I was freezing anyway and the wind was chilly and you get to see my face only cause I opted for tied up hair - take that, wind !.

Come salvare una giornata di vacanza quando la maggior parte dei vestiti messi in valigia sono adatti ad una giornata più calda e invece sembra di essere ancora in inverno ? Un'idea può essere "buttarsi" su un cappottino particolare !. Questo è ciò che ho fatto nel giorno di Pasqua a Sorrento, quanto ho scelto di indossare il mio cappottino leopardato su un mini abito blu cobalto.

Faceva comunque tanto freddo e il vento soffiava con energia, tanto è che la decisione di legare i capelli si è rivelata vincente, se non altro per non avere troppi fastidi !.

Love Moschino sweater

Are you getting ready for Valentine's day ? Are you going to celebrate it tomorrow ? I do think that love should be celebrated everyday, but I am gonna celebrate it with my lovely hubby going on a dinner after a long day of work, I have more than one reason...I am happily in love and my name is Valentina ;)...I think I should get two presents for this reason, right ? Ahah :D. I am not going to post about presents suggestions for tomorrow, I have already sent my personal suggestions around as a subliminal messages to my love...ahahah. Instead, I have decided to post pics of a simple outfit with a sweater I like so much, it's from Love Moschino and it features a girl in cat eye glasses, same shape I use to read in my everyday life. Isn't it cute ?.

Siete pronti per San Valentino ? Lo festeggerete domani ? Io credo che l'amore vada celebrato ogni giorno dell'anno, ma festeggerò San Valentino con il mio adorabile maritino dopo quella che sarà una lunga giornata di lavoro...ho due motivi per farlo: sono felicemente innamorata e mi chiamo Valentina ;)...pertanto, credo proprio che dovrei ricevere due regali per questo motivo, giusto ? Ahaha :D. Non posterò idee regalo per domani, ho già mandato messaggi subliminali al mio amore in proposito, so essere diabolica, ahaha ;) Invece, ho deciso di mostrarvi un outfit semplice con un maglione che mi piace molto, di Love Moschino, raffigurante una ragazza con occhiali "da gatta", quasi identici a quelli che uso io nella vita di tutti i giorni. Non è carino ?.

I have decided to style the sweater with simple jeans and my Guess by Marciano ankle boots, same collection of my wedged pumps you had already seen. See them better in the pic below !. As a bag, I opted for my green Prada bag.

Ho deciso di abbinare al maglione un semplice paio di jeans e i miei tronchetti con zeppa di Guess by Marciano, della stessa collezione delle deco che vi avevo già fatto vedere. Potete vederne meglio i dettagli nella foto sottostante. Come borsa, ho optato per la borsa di Prada verde.

I added a touch of red nail polish, as always, just a few minutes before going out...do you also do that ?. I am often in a hurry for everything...to be sincere, also now I am a hurry to go to the hairdresser, LOL !.
I wish you all a good Valentine's day for tomorrow, and if you aren't in a couple, never forget you can still be in love with yourself, so this means you can still pamper yourself and remember that being on our own is surely better than be with the wrong person, and that we have to enjoy our days at the best we can :-).

Ho optato per uno smalto rosso classico, applicandolo, come spesso mi accade, solo pochi minuti prima di uscire...capita anche a voi ?. Vado spesso di fretta per tutto...sinceramente, anche adesso sarei di fretta perché devo andare dalla parrucchiera ;-).
Vi auguro un buon San Valentino per domani e anche se non siete in coppia, ricordate che potete sempre essere innamorati di...voi stessi, ovvero potete coccolarvi come meglio preferite e ricordare che starsene per conto proprio in alcuni momenti è sicuramente meglio che stare con la persona sbagliata, bisogna trarre il meglio da tutte le situazioni :-).

Striped miniskirt

How did your Christmas go ? Did you get any beautiful present ? My hubby got my an iPad Mini and I love it cause I am gonna bring it with me all the time now, without worrying about fitting it in my bag ! ;). I also have a few new entries that I will be showing you in my outfit posts. Now, after a more relaxed outfit, a new outfit with a miniskirt !. I bought this striped black and burgundy miniskirt at local Zara, one of my fave shopping hangouts, as you already know !.

Come è andato il vostro Natale ? Avete ricevuto qualche bel regalo ? Il mio maritino mi ha regalato un iPad mini e lo adoro, ora posso portarlo con me senza dovermi preoccupare delle dimensioni della mia borsa ;). Ho anche alcune new entries che vi mostrerò nei prossimi post di outfit. Ora, dopo un look più rilassato, un nuovo outfit con minigonna ! Ho comprato questa miningonna a strisce nere e bordeaux da Zara, uno dei miei luoghi preferiti per lo shopping, come già sapete !.

I paired this striped skirt with a black turtleneck and a black blazer from Carla G. and I added some fun with a statement necklace and a statement bracelet from Zara.

The central part of this outfit are no doubt my boots, I love them so much because they have this '60 vibe, for their shape and mirror heels, they have high heels that are comfy enough and their leather is very soft. You are going to see me wearing them often, absolutely !. You can see them better in the pic below. I am a sucker for soft black leather items...in fact my latest bag purchase is a black and roomy bag, I am gonna show it to you soon ! Are you getting ready for New Year's eve ? We're going to the mountains for a few days, mostly to relax and I can't wait !. How are you gonna spend New Year's eve ?.

La parte centrale di questo outfit sono senza dubbio i miei stivali, li adoro perché hanno un'aria anni '60 grazie alla loro forma ed al tacco a specchio interno, sono alti ma sono comodi e di un pellame molto morbido. Me li vedrete indosso molto spesso, sicuramente !. Potete vederli meglio nella foto sottostante. Ho un debole per i capi in morbida pelle nera...infatti anche il mio ultimo acquisto in fatto di borse è una borsa spaziosa e nera, ve la mostrerò presto ! Intanto, siete pronti per l'ultimo dell'anno ? Noi andremo in montagna per qualche giorno, più che altro per rilassarci e non vedo l'ora !. Voi come trascorrerete il Capodanno ?.

Green bodycon dress and statement necklace

Most of my Fall-Winter dresses are sleeveless, this year, just like this body conscious dress from Asos.
I personally love this shape of dress and when I saw the shade of green, being one of my fave colors ever, I quickly put it in my shopping cart !.
I am happy with my purchase because the textured fabric is very comfortable and this is the kind of dress that looks good with high heels but also with biker boots.

La maggior parte dei miei abiti per l'autunno-inverno, quest'anno, è senza le maniche, proprio come questo tubino aderente di Asos.
Non mi stanco mai del design "a tubino" e quando ho visto la sfumatura di verde dell'abito, essendo il verde uno dei miei colori preferiti in assoluto, l'ho messo velocemente nel carrello virtuale !.
Sono contenta del mio acquisto perché mi piace il tipo di tessuto e questo tipo di abito si abbina bene sia a dei tacchi alti che ad un paio di bikers.

The leather clutch is from Zara, you can see it better in the pic below. I could not resist the studs that reminds me a bit of the famous Valentino serie...plus it's a comfortable clutch, large enough for a control freak like me, taking always too much with her !. By the way, the nail polish I have on my nails in these pics is Chanel - Frenzy...love it but it looks almost transparent ! Do you have it ?.

La clutch in pelle è di Zara, potete vederla meglio nella foto sottostante. Non ho resistito alle borchie che mi ricordano la famosa serie di borse di Valentino...inoltre è molto comoda, grande abbastanza per una maniaca del controllo come me, che in borsa porta sempre troppe cose !.
Lo smalto che ho sulle unghie è il Frenzy di Chanel...a me piace, ma nelle foto sembra quasi trasparente ! Voi lo avete ?.

The weather is still being nice, so I could wear my dress without hiding it under tons of layers !. I just had a small black wool cardi with me ;).

Il tempo era ancora abbastanza caldo e mi ha permesso di indossare il mio abito senza doverlo nascondere sotto strati di indumenti ! Avevo con me solo un piccolo cardigan in lana nero ;).

I added a statement necklace to the dress, this bib necklace has vibrant colors and I found it at Pull&Bear. I think it looks great on the dark green and adds some fun !.
The silver and turquoise ring is an old ring that I've been owning since the age of 14 ! I had left it in my old room in my parents' house, where I still have loads of things. I love it when I find out such things and I wear them again after quite a long time :-). Fashion, after all, is a cycle and that's also why it's very hard for me to ever throw away something...I have to remember this next year when I will be tempted to throw the asymmetrical or peplum dresses away, ha !.

Ho aggiunto una collana particolare all'abito, questa collana "bavaglio" che ha dei colori molto vivaci, presa da Pull&Bear. Credo stia benissimo sul verde scuro dell'abito e lo renda più originale !.
L'anello che porto all'indice, in argento con turchesi, è un vecchio anello che ho dall'età di 14 anni, lasciato a casa dei miei in quella che era la mia vecchia cameretta dove ci sono ancora tanti porta gioie. Mi piace quando riscopro vecchie cose e le indosso nuovamente dopo tanto tempo :-).
La moda dopotutto è un ciclo ed è anche per questo che trovo sempre difficile gettar via qualcosa...inoltre, me ne devo ricordare l'anno prossimo quando forte sarà la tentazione di gettare via gli abiti asimmetrici o a peplum, ahah :-).

Not too casual: green pants !

In these days I've been shopping like crazy and most of my purchases, both from online stores and from shops in my town, are short dresses or skirts, but weirdly I've been wearing pants more often than ever. In these pics I am experimenting with new pants I bought at H&M, they come from the "divided" line. I love the color and the shape because they are not exagerately low waisted. Green is definately one of my fave colors and this color matches my Sodini necklace I had already showed you !.

In questi giorni ho fatto parecchio shopping e la maggior parte dei miei acquisti, sia provenienti da shop online che da negozi della mia città, hanno riguardato abitini e gonne, invece stranamente mi sto ritrovando ad indossare pantaloni più spesso del solito. In queste foto sto provando i miei nuovi pantaloni presi da da H&M nella sezione "divided". Mi piacciono il colore e il modello, non troppo a vita bassa. Il verde è sicuramente uno dei miei colori preferiti e quello di questi pantaloni si abbina perfettamente al verde della collana Sodini che vi avevo già mostrato !.

This outfit is casual but not too much, thanks to my Celyn B black top, simple but elegant, and my beloved wedge pumps !. You had been warned that I would have used them in other outfits soon ! ;).

Celyn B leather jacket

I also had a jacket with me, a leather jacket from Celyn B. I love it and I would wear it all the time, with pants but also with long skirts !.
If I could choose, I'd want the weather to stay like this for several months...not too cold, not too hot...perfection ! This is what I call "leather jacket weather", it usually doesn't last for long...so I wanna enjoy it with more walks in open air !.
As the serial shopper I am, I have ended up buying these pants also in another color...guess it ! ;))

Avevo con me anche una giacca, un giubbino in pelle di Celyn B., un capo che adoro e che indosserei tutte le volte, con pantaloni ma anche con gonne lunghe !.
Se potessi scegliere, vorrei che il tempo restasse così per parecchi mesi...non troppo freddo, né troppo caldo...la perfezione ! Questo è proprio tempo da giacche in pelle, di solito non dura a lungo, per cui intendo godermelo facendo più passeggiate all'aria aperta !.
Da serial shopper quale sono, ho finito per comprare questi pantaloni anche in un altro colore...indovinatelo ! ;))

The highlights of my week so far have been:
1) going to the movies to see "The art of rap", a documentary film directed by Ice-T that takes us on a journey into the heart and soul of hip-hop with the legends of rap music. Maybe you didn't know I love hip-hop !. Has anyone else watched it ?
2) getting a cold...I've been sneezing and feeling a bit sick :(
3) sending out multiple orders on asos ! I seriously got addicted !
4) yelling at my Iphone because Instagram keeps making my phone crash...I can't wait to get myself an Iphone 5 ;)
5) being glad cause Gossip Girl is back and a bit sad because it's the last serie...ok, the plot is not the best one but it amuses me and keeps me entertained, sometimes it's enough !

I momenti clou della mia settimana fino ad oggi sono stati:
1) andare al cinema a vedere "The art of rap", un film documentario diretto da Ice-T che ci porta in un viaggio nel cuore e nell'anima dell'hip-hop con le leggende della musica rap. Forse non sapevate che amo l'hip-hop !. Voi lo avete visto ?
2) prendere il raffreddore...continuo a starnutire e mi sento abbastanza a pezzi :(
3) fare ordini multipli su asos ! Sono diventata dipendente !
4) insultare il mio Iphone perché Instagram lo fa andare in crash...non vedo l'ora di avere un Iphone 5 ;)
5) essere felice per il ritorno di Gossip Girl e anche un po' triste perché è l'ultima serie...ok, la scenneggiatura non è delle migliori ma mi diverte e mi intrattiene, a volte è abbastanza !
