Givenchy Pandora bag

Are you all back to your everyday life or are you still enjoying some holiday time ? I am back home after a few days on the mountains where all we did was relax, eat (too much) and have a good time !.
I had less time to spend on the internet and I needed a little break, now it's finally time for a new outfit post, the first new outfit of 2013, introducing my newest bag: the Givenchy Pandora bag !.

Siete tornati tutti alla vita di tutti i giorni o state ancora godendovi qualche giorno di vacanza ? Io sono tornata a casa dopo qualche giorno in montagna dove tutto ciò che ho fatto è stato rilassarmi, mangiare (troppo) e divertirmi !.
Ho avuto meno tempo da trascorrere online e avevo bisogno di una piccola pausa, ora è finalmente tempo di un nuovo outfit, il primo del 2013, e di presentarvi la mia nuova borsa: la Pandora di Givenchy !.

Choosing a new bag is such a personal thing for a woman...I knew I wanted to buy myself a present for Christmas and it had to be a new bag, and I didn't have the Pandora on my mind, but then I tried it on and fell in love with its unique shape, not surely an easy bag to pull off for everyone but when it was on my shoulder I felt it was "mine".
It's also a very pratical bag that can be worn in different ways, it has one handle, a shoulder strap and the shape changes completely when it's filled up, and the leather feels so soft !.
I am definately proud to have this bag in my bags collection and I am already addicted to it, I can fill it with so many things and you will surely see it in many outfits !.

Scegliere una nuova nuova borsa è sempre una cosa molto personale per ogni donna...io sapevo di volermi comprare un bel regalo di Natale e doveva essere una borsa di design, ma non avevo in mente la Pandora, poi l'ho provata e mi sono innamorata della sua forma unica e originale, non è una borsa facile da portare per chiunque ma quando l'ho vista su di me l'ho sentita "mia". Inoltre, si tratta di una borsa molto pratica che può essere portata in vari modi, ha sia un manico che una tracolla e la sua forma cambia completamente quando è riempita, inoltre è di una pelle morbidissima !.
Sono decisamente orgogliosa di avere questa borsa nella mia collezione e ne sono già dipendente, ci entrano così tante cose e la vedrete di sicuro in molti outfit !.

In these pics I am wearing a wool dress from Diesel crafted from brushed mohair, with an asymmetric fringe trim.
The bi-color ankle boots are from Fabi. I went for green colored tights that are matching the shoes color.
On my nails, I am wearing my beloved Peridot from Chanel, I still love wearing it from time to time, it's definately one of my fave Chanel nail polishes ever !.

In queste foto indosso un abito in lana mohair con frangia asimmetrica di Diesel.
Gli stivaletti bicolori sono di Fabi. Ho scelto delle calze colorate dello stesso verde delle scarpe.
Sulle unghie, il Peridot di Chanel, amo ancora portarlo ogni tanto, sicuramente è uno degli smalti Chanel che preferisco !.

This weekend is gonna be dedicated to sales and even tho I am not usually a sales person, just because I tend to buy what I can afford when I see it instead of waiting, I am sure I am gonna buy something...more than ever after a few days spent in a place with a few shops and strict opening times !. As soon as I got back home, I already got myself a lovely Parka today, before the official sales start, and I am all happy about it !. What are you gonna look for ? Anyway, good luck everyone !.

Questo weekend iniziano le svendite e sebbene io non sia una persona che attende i saldi per comprare, in quanto se ce la faccio compro subito in modo compulsivo, so già che comprerò qualcosa...ancora di più dopo aver trascorso qualche giorno in una località con pochi negozi e orari di apertura ridotti ! Appena rientrata alla base, infatti, ho già preso un delizioso Parka, ancora prima dell'inizio ufficiale, e ne sono felice !. Voi cosa cercherete ? In ogni caso, buona fortuna !.

Green bodycon dress and statement necklace

Most of my Fall-Winter dresses are sleeveless, this year, just like this body conscious dress from Asos.
I personally love this shape of dress and when I saw the shade of green, being one of my fave colors ever, I quickly put it in my shopping cart !.
I am happy with my purchase because the textured fabric is very comfortable and this is the kind of dress that looks good with high heels but also with biker boots.

La maggior parte dei miei abiti per l'autunno-inverno, quest'anno, è senza le maniche, proprio come questo tubino aderente di Asos.
Non mi stanco mai del design "a tubino" e quando ho visto la sfumatura di verde dell'abito, essendo il verde uno dei miei colori preferiti in assoluto, l'ho messo velocemente nel carrello virtuale !.
Sono contenta del mio acquisto perché mi piace il tipo di tessuto e questo tipo di abito si abbina bene sia a dei tacchi alti che ad un paio di bikers.

The leather clutch is from Zara, you can see it better in the pic below. I could not resist the studs that reminds me a bit of the famous Valentino serie...plus it's a comfortable clutch, large enough for a control freak like me, taking always too much with her !. By the way, the nail polish I have on my nails in these pics is Chanel - Frenzy...love it but it looks almost transparent ! Do you have it ?.

La clutch in pelle è di Zara, potete vederla meglio nella foto sottostante. Non ho resistito alle borchie che mi ricordano la famosa serie di borse di Valentino...inoltre è molto comoda, grande abbastanza per una maniaca del controllo come me, che in borsa porta sempre troppe cose !.
Lo smalto che ho sulle unghie è il Frenzy di Chanel...a me piace, ma nelle foto sembra quasi trasparente ! Voi lo avete ?.

The weather is still being nice, so I could wear my dress without hiding it under tons of layers !. I just had a small black wool cardi with me ;).

Il tempo era ancora abbastanza caldo e mi ha permesso di indossare il mio abito senza doverlo nascondere sotto strati di indumenti ! Avevo con me solo un piccolo cardigan in lana nero ;).

Pull & Bear statement necklace

I added a statement necklace to the dress, this bib necklace has vibrant colors and I found it at Pull&Bear. I think it looks great on the dark green and adds some fun !.
The silver and turquoise ring is an old ring that I've been owning since the age of 14 ! I had left it in my old room in my parents' house, where I still have loads of things. I love it when I find out such things and I wear them again after quite a long time :-). Fashion, after all, is a cycle and that's also why it's very hard for me to ever throw away something...I have to remember this next year when I will be tempted to throw the asymmetrical or peplum dresses away, ha !.

Ho aggiunto una collana particolare all'abito, questa collana "bavaglio" che ha dei colori molto vivaci, presa da Pull&Bear. Credo stia benissimo sul verde scuro dell'abito e lo renda più originale !.
L'anello che porto all'indice, in argento con turchesi, è un vecchio anello che ho dall'età di 14 anni, lasciato a casa dei miei in quella che era la mia vecchia cameretta dove ci sono ancora tanti porta gioie. Mi piace quando riscopro vecchie cose e le indosso nuovamente dopo tanto tempo :-).
La moda dopotutto è un ciclo ed è anche per questo che trovo sempre difficile gettar via qualcosa...inoltre, me ne devo ricordare l'anno prossimo quando forte sarà la tentazione di gettare via gli abiti asimmetrici o a peplum, ahah :-).

Street style: green !

It is very hard for me to go out of Zara without buying anything. The dress you see in these pics was a total unexpected purchase I did a few weeks ago. I fell in love with the simple cut, the mixture of green, blue and taupe colors and the lace back (don't think it's visible from the pics, but it has a white lace back).
A perfect dress for a walk in the afternoon, spotting new items for the Fall ! All those forest green, mustard and burgundy clothes are already haunting my shopping dreams ! I love the colors of Fall and I think I can also wear this little dress later in time with a long cardi, heavy tights and boots !.

E' sempre difficile per me entrare da Zara senza comprare nulla. L'abito che vedete in queste foto è stato un acquisto totalmente non programmato fatto alcune settimane fa. Mi sono innamorata del taglio semplice, della stampa a diverse tonalità di verde, taupe e blu e dell'inserto in pizzo sulla schiena (non credo sia visibile dalle foto ma ha la schiena in pizzo bianco).
Un abito perfetto per una passeggiata pomeridiana tra i negozi, tra le novità per l'autunno ! Tutti quegli abiti color verde foresta, senape e bordeaux stanno già popolando i miei sogni di shopping !. Amo i colori autunnali e credo proprio che indosserò ancora questo abitino anche più avanti con un lungo cardigan, calze coprenti e stivali !.

The sandals are from Icone, you can see the details in the pic below. They are very comfy !. I matched them with my Miu Miu green tote that has been my loyal companion for many shopping sprees and that carries a lot of weight, including my beloved Ipad !.

I sandali sono di Icone, potete vederli meglio nella foto sotto. Sono comodissimi !. Li ho abbinati alla mia tote di Miu Miu che è stata fedele compagna di tanti giri di shopping e che sopporta un peso notevole, incluso il mio adorato Ipad !.

Speaking about heavy bags, I am looking for a small crossbody bag because I haven't got many, the main reason is that everytime I approach a designer bag and it's small I feel guilty because I know I would not wear it more than a couple of times...I prefer large bags because I use to carry a lot of things with me.
I think I have to find a good compromise, it has to be small but not too much and also the price can't be the same of the large version...otherwise I will end up buying the big one, I know myself !. Do you have any advice on a small, beautiful bag besides "buy a Chanel 2.55" ? ;-).

Parlando di borse pesanti, sto cercando una piccola borsa da portare a tracolla perché non ne ho tante, la ragione principale è che ogni volta che mi avvicino ad una borsa piccola di un certo livello mi sento in colpa perché so che non la porterei più di qualche volta...preferisco le borse grandi perché sono solita portarmi dietro di tutto !.
Devo trovare un buon compromesso, una borsa piccola ma non troppo e anche dal prezzo più conveniente della versione grande...altrimenti so che finirò per comprare quella grande, mi conosco !. Avete qualche consiglio su una bella borsa dalle dimensioni ridotte a parte "compra una Chanel 2.55" ? ;-).
