Yesterday I was a chic lady, today I am a rocker chick A black sweater with a colorful writing, black Diesel pants with lace-up detail. Rock accessories: my Balenciaga graffiti bag and studded Le Silla combat boots. A comfy and easy look, almost all black, with just a touch of color. Rock, just like my rebel soul and like the kind of music I prefer when I am not listening to country!

Ieri ero una lady chic, oggi sono una ragazza rock. Un maglione nero con scritta colorata, pantaloni Diesel con inserti allacciati. Accessori rock: la mia borsa Balenciaga graffiti e anfibi borchiati Le Silla. Un look comodo ed easy, quasi tutto nero, con pochi tocchi di colore. Rock come il mio animo un po' ribelle, come la musica che preferisco quando non ascolto il country!

An asymmetrical dress with Polka dots and florals as well as stiletto white boots from Le Silla are the main ingredients of this femine outfit. I am back to my beloved stiletto heels, after so many pics with cowgirl boots! White shoes and boots are going strong also for Fall/Winter this year and I love mine very much, they are very versatile. This gown style asymmetrical dress is very flirty and I just added a leather jacket and statement sunglasses for a touch of rock.

Un abito asimetrico con pois e fantasia floreale insieme a stivaletti tacco a spillo bianchi di Le Silla sono l'ingrediente principale per questo outfit femminile. Sono tornata ai miei adorati tacchi a spillo, dopo molte foto con stivali da cowgirl! Scarpe e stivali bianchi saranno di gran moda anche per questo autunno/inverno e i miei mi piacciono molto perché sono molto versatili. Questo abito asimmetrico a vestaglia è molto sensuale ed è bastato aggiungerci un giubbetto in pelle e occhiali da sole particolari per dare un tocco rock al tutto.

Are you all back to your everyday life or are you still enjoying some holiday time ? I am back home after a few days on the mountains where all we did was relax, eat (too much) and have a good time !.
I had less time to spend on the internet and I needed a little break, now it's finally time for a new outfit post, the first new outfit of 2013, introducing my newest bag: the Givenchy Pandora bag !.

Siete tornati tutti alla vita di tutti i giorni o state ancora godendovi qualche giorno di vacanza ? Io sono tornata a casa dopo qualche giorno in montagna dove tutto ciò che ho fatto è stato rilassarmi, mangiare (troppo) e divertirmi !.
Ho avuto meno tempo da trascorrere online e avevo bisogno di una piccola pausa, ora è finalmente tempo di un nuovo outfit, il primo del 2013, e di presentarvi la mia nuova borsa: la Pandora di Givenchy !.

Choosing a new bag is such a personal thing for a woman...I knew I wanted to buy myself a present for Christmas and it had to be a new bag, and I didn't have the Pandora on my mind, but then I tried it on and fell in love with its unique shape, not surely an easy bag to pull off for everyone but when it was on my shoulder I felt it was "mine".
It's also a very pratical bag that can be worn in different ways, it has one handle, a shoulder strap and the shape changes completely when it's filled up, and the leather feels so soft !.
I am definately proud to have this bag in my bags collection and I am already addicted to it, I can fill it with so many things and you will surely see it in many outfits !.

Scegliere una nuova nuova borsa è sempre una cosa molto personale per ogni donna...io sapevo di volermi comprare un bel regalo di Natale e doveva essere una borsa di design, ma non avevo in mente la Pandora, poi l'ho provata e mi sono innamorata della sua forma unica e originale, non è una borsa facile da portare per chiunque ma quando l'ho vista su di me l'ho sentita "mia". Inoltre, si tratta di una borsa molto pratica che può essere portata in vari modi, ha sia un manico che una tracolla e la sua forma cambia completamente quando è riempita, inoltre è di una pelle morbidissima !.
Sono decisamente orgogliosa di avere questa borsa nella mia collezione e ne sono già dipendente, ci entrano così tante cose e la vedrete di sicuro in molti outfit !.

In these pics I am wearing a wool dress from Diesel crafted from brushed mohair, with an asymmetric fringe trim.
The bi-color ankle boots are from Fabi. I went for green colored tights that are matching the shoes color.
On my nails, I am wearing my beloved Peridot from Chanel, I still love wearing it from time to time, it's definately one of my fave Chanel nail polishes ever !.

This weekend is gonna be dedicated to sales and even tho I am not usually a sales person, just because I tend to buy what I can afford when I see it instead of waiting, I am sure I am gonna buy something...more than ever after a few days spent in a place with a few shops and strict opening times !. As soon as I got back home, I already got myself a lovely Parka today, before the official sales start, and I am all happy about it !. What are you gonna look for ? Anyway, good luck everyone !.

Questo weekend iniziano le svendite e sebbene io non sia una persona che attende i saldi per comprare, in quanto se ce la faccio compro subito in modo compulsivo, so già che comprerò qualcosa...ancora di più dopo aver trascorso qualche giorno in una località con pochi negozi e orari di apertura ridotti ! Chiffon motorcycle jacket

What's better than a cloudy, windy day for a walk on the seaside wearing biker boots and a chiffon galaxy print motorcycle jacket ?.
I got this one from Sheinside, a cool clothing and accessories webstore and I have to admit I love it ! I am gonna use it a lot, also with denim pants.
The Universe print felt perfect with the aqua color of this long, asymmetrical skirt from Zara, that added a touch of romance to a "rock" outfit. I promise this is the last asymmetrical skirt in my collection...oh, wait...actually I have another couple of them, LOL !. Yes, I am slightly obsessed !.

Cosa c'è di meglio in una giornata nuvolosa e ventosa che andare in riva al mare e fare una passeggiata in biker boots e chiodo di chiffon a stampa galassia ?.
Ho preso questa giacchina modello "chiodo" da Sheinside, un webstore molto fornito e devo dire che ne sono entusiasta ! Credo la sfrutterò molto, anche con i jeans. La stampa "universo" mi sembrava perfetta per abbinarla al color turchese chiaro di questa gonna lunga e asimmetrica di Zara, che ha aggiunto un tocco romantico ad un outfit dall'allure rock. Prometto che questa sarà l'ultima gonna asimmetrica a comparire nei miei post di outfit...oh, aspettate, veramente, ne avrei un altro paio da mostrarvi, LOL ! Sì, sono leggermente ossessionata !.

A studded necklace from Asos and my Diesel leather tote, bought when this color wasn't yet so trendy (you had seen it already here), completed the outfit.
I am a bit disappointed with this weather, it's still pretty cold compared to italian standards and I need some warm sun to shine on me, who said we don't have mid seasons anymore ?!.

Sono un po' delusa dal tempo, fa ancora freddo per gli standard italiani e ho bisogno che un po' di sole mi scaldi, chi aveva detto che non esistevano più le mezze stagioni ?!.

Peplum dress from New York

I love to follow trend but one thing that really amazes me and amuses me is when I buy something just because I like it and then I end up finding out it's a big trend - and I didn't even know about it yet ! It happened this way when I went to New York, last July, for my honeymoon (it's been 9 months exactly today, by the way ;)) and I entered the Alice + Olivia shop. I quickly fell in love with a simple yet elegant dress with a ruffle on the waist, a little black dress with something more that I had to buy immediately. It reminded me of Victoria Beckham designs, I have found out that the name of this design was Victoria - it could not be a coincidence !. Well, only a few months later I found out that kind of dress was called a peplum dress and I could not imagine it would be very trendy and I would hear a lot of about it !.

Mi piace seguire le mode ma una cosa che mi stupisce e diverte è quando compro qualcosa semplicemente perché ne sono colpita e scopro solo tempo dopo che si tratta di qualcosa molto trendy !.
Mi è capitato quando sono andata a New York, lo scorso luglio, in occasione della mia luna di miele (sono esattamente nove mesi di matrimonio proprio oggi ;)) e sono entrata nel negozio di Alice + Olivia.
Mi sono subito innamorata di un abito semplice ed elegante con una balza in vita, un little black dress con qualcosa in più che ho finito per comprare immediatamente. Mi ricordava i modelli di Victoria Beckham, infatti ho scoperto che il nome dell'abito era Victoria - non poteva essere una coincidenza !.
Solo pochi mesi dopo ho scoperto che questo tipo di modello si chiama "peplum" e si tratta di un modello di gran moda e del quale avrei sentito parlare parecchio !.

Lately I've been seeing peplum skirts and dresses a bit everywhere, both into shops, fashion magazines and a few fashion blogs, and I was even more proud of my New York dress that struck me without the support of any "trend alert" !. In these pics you can see me wearing it with my brand new Cesare Paciotti shoes, love the color, it's a hot pink with tiny red profiles...perfect match to my beloved color block Marc by Marc Jacobs bag !.

Ultimamente ho visto gonne e abiti peplum un po' ovunque, sia nei negozi che nei giornali e su diversi fashion blog, e io sono stata ancora più orgogliosa del mio abito newyorkese che non ha avuto bisogno di alcuna "allerta trend" per colpirmi !.
In queste foto potete vedere il mio abbinamento con le nuove scarpe di Cesare Paciotti, amo il colore, è un rosa carico con sottili profili rossi...perfetto abbinamento con la mia adorata borsa color block Marc by Marc Jacobs !.

Instead of using a necklace, I have decided to wear a collar from Pull & Bear, I often find some cute accessories there.
The nail polish I used is brand new, it's called "Plaza" and is from Dior just like the Dior Addict Extreme lipstick with the same name. I love this vibrant shade of pink/fucsia !.
I have recently bought also a peplum skirt, this time from Zara, and from a less glamorous location than New York City ! You'll see it soon in another post...for now, let me dream about my days in the Big Apple, hoping I can go back there again very soon !.

Invece di indossare una collana, ho deciso di optare per un colletto di Pull & Bear, spesso vi trovo degli accessori veramente carini.

Blue is the color of freedom

What's better than a comfy leather tote and a pair of comfy heels to go out for shopping ? :-) The other day a girl asked me about those sandals whilst I was in a shop, she said she liked them and wanted to know the brand and where I had bought them. Sometimes it happens to me too to look at someone's outfit and wish to know where their clothes and shoes come from, I have to say I am normally a bit shy when it comes to asking for an information, a thing that is so easy on a blog is not as easy in everyday life ! ;-). It made me think that we should be more open to networking also in our town, with those around us. Anyway, I have many shoes but those are surely one of the comfiest pair of high heeled sandals I bought for this summer !.
I was also wearing that leather tote bag from Diesel, I like the color, very "Tiffany blue", it was love at first sight with that bag I found on sale, I couldn't believe my eyes cause I am not so lucky when it comes to bargains !. What about you, are you usually lucky when it comes to sales ?.
Now I going to download some more apps for my brand new Ipad 2, it was my birthday present from hubby :-) and I am so happy with it !. Thank you for your birthday wishes and for your kind comments !. I will introduce you to my new Bag soon ;-). Before I post this...Go and watch Super 8 at the movies, I loved it and I keep being a huge JJ Abrams fan !.

Cosa c'è di meglio di una comoda borsa a spalla e un paio di tacchi alti ma comodi per un giro di shopping ? :-) L'altro giorno una ragazza mi ha fermata per chiedermi informazioni su questi sandali mentre ero intenta a fare shopping, voleva sapere di che marca erano e dove li avevo comprati. A volte succede anche me di guardare il look di qualcuno e di desiderare di conoscere da dove vengano i vestiti e le scarpe, devo ammettere che non lo faccio spesso in quanto divento un po' timida, una cosa tanto facile da chiedere su un blog non è altrettanto facile nella vita di tutti i giorni !. Mi è venuto da pensare che dovremmo essere più aperti al networking anche nella nostra città, con coloro che ci circondano ;-). Comunque, devo dire che ho molte scarpe ma questi sandali sono sicuramente tra i più comodi comprati nel corso di questa estate !.
Indossavo anche questa tote bag in pelle di Diesel, mi piace il colore, molto "Blue Tiffany", è stato amore a prima vista per questa borsa che ho trovato a saldo, proprio io che di solito non ho fortuna e non riesco mai a risparmiare ! . Che mi dite di voi, di solito siete fortunate con i saldi ?.
Ora vado a scaricare qualche bella app per il mio nuovo Ipad 2, regalo di compleanno del mio maritino :-), ne sono entusiasta !. Grazie per i vostri auguri e per i commenti !. Vi farò conoscere la mia nuova Borsa molto presto ;-).
