Maxi skirt and fake fur vest

There are outfit posts that should be tagged as "the husband series", meaning the ones my hubby had "something" to say about. Maybe you already heard about his avversion for fake fur items. Well, as you can imagine he wasn't too enthustiast about this black fake fur vest I bought at Stradivarius. Add to this, he's not fond of maxi skirts !.
Obviously, the result of his avversion was the following: amused to channel this modern version of Anna Karenina, I wore it anyway and even asked him to take pics ! Enjoy :).

Ci sono post outfit che dovrebbero essere taggati come "the husband series", ovvero quelli "segnati" dal caro maritino. Forse avevate già letto circa la sua avversione per pellicciotti e affini...beh, potete immaginare il suo entusiasmo verso questo gilet nero di pelliccia finta comprato da Stradivarius. Aggiungeteci che non è un fan neanche delle maxi gonne !.
Ovviamente, il risultato della sua avversione è stato il seguente: perfettamente a mio agio in questa mise un po' da Anna Karenina dei nostri giorni, l'ho indossato lo stesso e ho pure avuto la faccia tosta di chiedergli di fotografarmi ! :).

This burgundy maxi skirt from Zara had been waiting for quite a long time in my closet. I decided to match it with a simple burgundy long sleeved top and to add a leather soft belt. The studded bow clutch from La fille des fleurs was a present from my mum.

La maxi gonna bordeaux di Zara ha aspettato per diverso tempo nel mio armadio prima di essere indossata. L'ho abbinata ad un semplice top dello stesso colore e ho aggiunto una cintura in nappa nera. La clutch con fiocco e borchie è un regalo di mia madre, ed è di La fille des fleurs.

Ankle boots are from Loriblu and you saw them already. I opted for a bold make up, dark lipstick and black nail polish, for a more dramatic effect. This outfit is sure not for everyday, it's a bit eccentric, but as always in life it depends...it's totally simple and normal compared to the outfits we saw at New York and Milan Fashion Week, LOL !.

I tronchetti sono di Loriblu e li avevate già visti. Ho optato per un make up deciso, con rossetto scuro e smalto nero, per un effetto più "drammatico". Sicuramente questo outfit non è per tutti i giorni, è un po' eccentrico, ma come sempre nella vita tutto è relativo...potrebbe essere veramente semplice e normale se lo paragonassimo ad outfit visti duranti le Fashion Week di New York e Milano !.

Striped miniskirt

How did your Christmas go ? Did you get any beautiful present ? My hubby got my an iPad Mini and I love it cause I am gonna bring it with me all the time now, without worrying about fitting it in my bag ! ;). I also have a few new entries that I will be showing you in my outfit posts. Now, after a more relaxed outfit, a new outfit with a miniskirt !. I bought this striped black and burgundy miniskirt at local Zara, one of my fave shopping hangouts, as you already know !.

Come è andato il vostro Natale ? Avete ricevuto qualche bel regalo ? Il mio maritino mi ha regalato un iPad mini e lo adoro, ora posso portarlo con me senza dovermi preoccupare delle dimensioni della mia borsa ;). Ho anche alcune new entries che vi mostrerò nei prossimi post di outfit. Ora, dopo un look più rilassato, un nuovo outfit con minigonna ! Ho comprato questa miningonna a strisce nere e bordeaux da Zara, uno dei miei luoghi preferiti per lo shopping, come già sapete !.

I paired this striped skirt with a black turtleneck and a black blazer from Carla G. and I added some fun with a statement necklace and a statement bracelet from Zara.

The central part of this outfit are no doubt my boots, I love them so much because they have this '60 vibe, for their shape and mirror heels, they have high heels that are comfy enough and their leather is very soft. You are going to see me wearing them often, absolutely !. You can see them better in the pic below. I am a sucker for soft black leather items...in fact my latest bag purchase is a black and roomy bag, I am gonna show it to you soon ! Are you getting ready for New Year's eve ? We're going to the mountains for a few days, mostly to relax and I can't wait !. How are you gonna spend New Year's eve ?.

La parte centrale di questo outfit sono senza dubbio i miei stivali, li adoro perché hanno un'aria anni '60 grazie alla loro forma ed al tacco a specchio interno, sono alti ma sono comodi e di un pellame molto morbido. Me li vedrete indosso molto spesso, sicuramente !. Potete vederli meglio nella foto sottostante. Ho un debole per i capi in morbida pelle nera...infatti anche il mio ultimo acquisto in fatto di borse è una borsa spaziosa e nera, ve la mostrerò presto ! Intanto, siete pronti per l'ultimo dell'anno ? Noi andremo in montagna per qualche giorno, più che altro per rilassarci e non vedo l'ora !. Voi come trascorrerete il Capodanno ?.

Animal sweaters trend: the raccoon sweater !

After a couple of my colorful wishlist posts, it's time for a new outfit post ! You can see here how I embraced the animal sweaters trend with this burgundy raccoon sweater I bought at Pull&Bear.

Dopo un paio di post con le mie colorate wishlist, è tempo di mostrarvi un nuovo outfit ! Potete notare come io sia stata contagiata dalla moda dei maglioni con stampe di animali con questa maglia bordeaux raffigurante un procione, presa da Pull&Bear.

Since the sweater itself was funny enough and it's in a beautiful burgundy color , I paired it with quite severe items: a pair of skinny pants/leggings with fake leather inserts from Zara and new wedge boots from Iro, everything in black color. You can see them better in the pic below !.

Dato che già il maglione era abbastanza buffo e di un bel bordeaux, ho deciso di abbinarlo a qualcosa di più serioso: un paio di leggings/pantaloni con inserti in finta pelle di Zara e i miei nuovi stivaletti con zeppa di Iro, tutto in nero. Potete vederli meglio nella foto sottostante !.

An envelope clutch and a skulls necklace from Zara completed the look, together with my burgundy Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses !. The burgundy and black studded bracelets are from Pull&Bear.

Una clutch a forma di busta e una collana con i teschi di Zara hanno completato il look, insieme ai miei occhiali burgundy di Dolce & Gabbana !. I bracciali borchiati in nero e bordeaux sono di Pull&Bear.

Are you ready for Christmas ? I am quite ready but I am not too happy that I have to work on the 24th and also on the 27th...oh well, I am looking forward to Christmas day and of course to a few days I am gonna spend on the mountains with my love !. I need a bit of relax because when I am not working, I am always doing something...I miss some time just chilling at home on the couch, reading a book or just watching tv !. I also need more sleep to avoid looking like the raccoon that I have on my sweater when I wake up in the morning, LOL !.

Siete pronti per il Natale ? Io abbastanza, sebbene non sia proprio entusiasta di lavorare il 24 e il 27...comunque, non vedo l'ora che sia Natale e che arrivino i pochi giorni che potrò trascorrere in montagna con il mio amore !. Ho bisogno di relax perché quando non sono al lavoro di solito sono sempre impegnata in qualcosa...mi serve del tempo per dedicarmi al...non fare niente, per starmene sul divano, magari a leggere un libro o a guardare la tv ! Ho anche bisogno di più ore di sonno per non sembrare, al mattino...un procione come quello che ho sulla maglia ! :-).

Underneath my coat...

I had told you that the previous post was to be continued, because I still had to show you what I was wearing underneath my Balenciaga coat ! Well, some of you guessed the color of my outfit right, maybe also because lately I have an obsession with the trendiest color of the season: burgundy color ! I was wearing an oxblood dress from H&M, indeed ;).

Vi avevo preannunciato nel post precedente che sarebbe continuato perché non vi avevo ancora mostrato cosa indossavo sotto al mio cappotto di Balenciaga ! Beh, alcune di voi hanno indovinato il colore dell'abito, probabilmente facilitate dalla mia ormai nota ossessione per il colore più trendy della stagione: il bordeaux, o burgundy, oxblood, vinaccio, chiamatelo come preferite ! Indossavo un abito bordeaux H&M, infatti ;).

The oxblood dress from H&M is sleeveless, so I matched an oxblood top to make it warmer and also added a studded Zara necklace and a soft leather belt to spice it up !. I personally love the black and burgundy combo and I can easily see myself wearing this outfit also both for the office and for a drink at the club, it depends on the accessories I use ;).

L'abitino di H&M è smanicato, io ho aggiunto un top di Subdued dal colore molto simile sotto per renderlo più caldo e ho aggiunto una cintura legata in vita e una collana borchiata di Zara per movimentare il look !. Personalmente amo questa combinazione di burgundy e nero e posso facilmente sfruttare un look del genere in ufficio così come per una serata in un locale, a seconda degli accessori usati.

In the pic above you can see details of my beloved bag and most of all of my fave nail polish of the moment: Merino Cool from Essie. This is a perfect color for winter, I think !. The cuff is not a Hermès cuff but it's nice anyway, it's from Juicy Couture ;).
My BVLGARI BZero ring is always with me, I love it and I can't separate from it, even tho I'd have other rings to wear and it prevents me from wearing other bulky rings on my right hand ;)
I am very anxious to prepare my Christmas tree, here in Italy we usually decorate it on 8th december...in a few days my flat is gonna be full with lights and holiday decoration, can't wait ! Have you already set up all your Xmas decoration ?.

Nella foto sopra potete vedere in dettaglio la mia adorata borsa e soprattutto lo smalto che preferisco al momento: Merino Cool di Essie. E' un colore perfetto per la stagione invernale e lo adoro !. Il bracciale non è il famoso cuff di Hermès ma è molto carino ugualmente, è di Juicy Couture ;).
Il mio anello BVLGARI BZero è sempre con me, lo adoro ed è difficile per me separarmene, sebbene sia un peccato perché avrei altri anelli da indossare e mi impedisce di portarne altri vistosi alla mano destra ;).
Sono ansiosa di preparare l'albero di Natale che, solitamente in Italia si addobba l'8 dicembre...tra pochi giorni casa mia diventerà un tripudio di luci e decorazioni varie...voi avete già preparato tutto ?.

Street style: french word top, Rochas shoes

This outfit is a bit different compared to my usual ones, because it's one of the few outfits with tied hair ! A messy bun, my new Rochas wedged lace-up shoes, Zara "Créance" t-shirt for a walk in beautiful Cortina, surrounded by beautiful mountains and...luxury shops :).

Questo outfit è un po' diverso dai miei soliti perché è uno dei pochi in cui ho i capelli legati ! Uno chignon spettinato, le mie nuove stringate col tacco di Rochas, la maglia "Créance" di Zara per una passeggiata in centro nella bellissima Cortina, circondata da bellissime montagne e...negozi di lusso :).

I don't know from where the trend of "tops with french words on" started but surely the "crème de la crème" post of Blair from "Atlantic-Pacific" blog helped to spread this trend, so when I saw this top with the french word "Crèance" at local Zara I decided to try it myself !. French language always sounds so elegant, don't you agree ?.

Non so bene chi abbia iniziato la moda delle "maglie con scritte in francese" ma, sicuramente, l'ormai celebre post "crème de la crème" di Blair del blog "Atlantic-Pacific" ha contribuito alla sua diffusione, così ho deciso di provare anche io quando ho visto questa maglia da Zara con la scritta in francese "Crèance" !. La lingua francese ha sempre un suono così elegante, non siete d'accordo con me ?.

Since the weather was already a bit chilly in Cortina I wore a burgundy lace blouse underneath the Zara t-shirt. I am a big fan of layered clothing !. I used a Zara sash belt that had been waiting to be worn for quite a few weeks and matched my Marc by Marc Jacobs "Too hot to handle" burgundy tote.
You can see details of Rochas wedged Oxfords in the image below - I love their color ! I have also made a little set inspired by this outfit.

Siccome il tempo era già fresco a Cortina ho indossato una maglia in pizzo color vinaccio sotto la t-shirt di Zara. Sono una grande fan dell'abbigliamento a strati !. Ho usato una cintura di Zara con ricami che attendeva di essere indossata per la prima volta ormai da settimane e ho abbinato la borsa bordeaux modello "Too hot to handle" di Marc by Marc Jacobs.
Potete vedere meglio le scarpe stringate di Rochas nell'immagine sottostante - adoro il loro colore ! Ho anche preparato un piccolo set ispirato da questo outfit.

Later during the day I added one layer to my outfit, wearing my Peuterey leather jacket. I love the time of the year when we can wear leather jackets and feel warm !. However, I plan to visit Cortina again, possibly when it will be snowy and colder ;).

Più tardi, nel corso della giornata, ho aggiunto un ulteriore strato al mio abbigliamento con il giubbino in pelle di Peuterey ! Adoro il periodo dell'anno in cui si può indossare la giacca in pelle e stare caldi. Comunque, credo proprio che tornerò presto a Cortina, quando ci saranno la neve e il freddo ;).
