Welcome, October! Let's go total black! A little black dress, sometimes it's good to change and you know how much I love color. I couldn't live without a good dose of colors, yet black has its special charm. This dress caught my attention because it was simple yet had modern and rock vibes. I wore it with studded sandals from Giancarlo Paoli and heart shaped glasses. Still a lightweight outfit yet it can be layered with a nice leather jacket.

Benvenuto, ottobre! Andiamo sul nero totale! Un abitino nero, a volte cambiare è una cosa buona anche se sapete quanto ami il colore. Non potrei vivere senza una bella dose di colori, ma il nero ha il suo fascino speciale. Questo abito ha attirato la mia attenzione perché semplice ma moderno e dal mood rock. L'ho indossato con sandali borchiati di Giancarlo Paoli e occhiali a forma di cuore. Ancora un abito leggero ma può essere stratificato con una bella giacca in pelle.

A simple look: less is more !

You are not used to seeing me like that, just a few simple, basic pieces of clothing and in an almost total black look with just a touch of light grey. Well, you know how much I love to change, and today's look is more "sober", because sometimes simplicity is good ! This time, less is more. To be taken in small doses like a medecine, in my case, ahahah :)

Non siete abituati a vedermi così, con pochi, semplici capi base ed in un look che mette da parte il colore in favore del quasi total black, spezzato solo da un tocco di grigio chiaro. Beh, sapete però quanto io ami cambiare stile, ed il look di oggi è più "sobrio", perché a volte anche la semplicità è bella ! Questa volta, meno è meglio. Nel mio caso, ovviamente, è da prendere in piccole dosi, come una medicina, ahahah :)

A mini skirt and a little gothic touch

It's time for a new outfit post, in (a lot of) black and (a bit of) white ! I always feel at ease with wearing black and I have to say I am never tired to wearing black outfits.
This look has a gothic or even a vampire touch, with this dark lipstick, fingerless gloves with a skull head and my new leather Givenchy Pandora bag you had already seen. Maybe it depends on my latest obsession with True Blood tv serie ? I've been watching all the episodes in a short time...if you are a fan, too, just let me know ! (I am "team Eric", by the way !) ;).

E' tempo di mostrarvi un nuovo outfit, in (poco) bianco e (molto) nero ! Mi sento sempre a mio agio con il nero, non ci sono dubbi, non mi stanca mai.
Questo look ha un che di gotico e di vampiresco a mio avviso, vuoi per il rossetto scuro, i guantini senza dita con i teschi e la borsa in pelle nera (la Pandora di Givenchy che avevate già visto). Forse dipende tutto dalla mia recente ossessione per la serie tv True Blood ? Ne ho visti tutti gli episodi in un breve lasso di tempo...fatemi sapere se ne siete fan anche voi ! (comunque, io sono "team Eric" !) ;).

Lately I've been wearing miniskirts more often than ever. I always wear them with opaque heavy tights, just because I prefer that way, it's comfier and also it keeps my legs warm !.
This skirt is from Maison Scotch, I think I already told you I adore this brand !. I matched it with a black and white paisley print sweater from Scooter Plus. The black jacket is from Carla G.

Ultimamente sto indossando minigonne abbastanza spesso, sempre con calze rigorosamente dai 50 denari in su, preferisco così sia per comodità che per...il loro calore !. Questa mini è di Maison Scotch, vi avevo già detto che adoro questo brand ?. Ho abbinato la gonna ad un pull a collo alto a stampa paisley bianca e nera, di Scooter Plus. La giacca nera è di Carla G.

The fingerless gloves with a skull head are just a fun accessory, actually not too comfy cause they tend to slide and cover my fingers ! I was proudly wearing my limited edition bottle of Dior Diorific Varnis nail polish, a black with golden/fuchsia/bronze sparkles color called "Diva".

I guantini senza dita con teschio borchiato sono stati più che altro un accessorio divertente, in realtà non sono tanto comodi perché tendono a scendere sulle dita ! Lo smalto che porto nelle foto è l'edizione limitata dello smalto Dior Diorific Varnis, un nero con pagliuzze dorate/fucsia/bronzo quasi impercettibili, chiamato "Diva".

The black suede and leather boots are one the comfiest pair I own. I bought them about month ago and I love them !. I always succeed in finding something I "really need"...as a vampire I am a failure, I am only good at draining my bank account, LOL !.

Gli stivali neri in camoscio e pelle sono tra i più comodi che ho, comprati circa un mese fa, li amo !. Riesco sempre a trovare un paio di scarpe che mi "serve proprio"...come vampira sono un fallimento, riesco solo a prosciugare...il mio conto in banca, ihihih ! :-).

Striped miniskirt

How did your Christmas go ? Did you get any beautiful present ? My hubby got my an iPad Mini and I love it cause I am gonna bring it with me all the time now, without worrying about fitting it in my bag ! ;). I also have a few new entries that I will be showing you in my outfit posts. Now, after a more relaxed outfit, a new outfit with a miniskirt !. I bought this striped black and burgundy miniskirt at local Zara, one of my fave shopping hangouts, as you already know !.

Come è andato il vostro Natale ? Avete ricevuto qualche bel regalo ? Il mio maritino mi ha regalato un iPad mini e lo adoro, ora posso portarlo con me senza dovermi preoccupare delle dimensioni della mia borsa ;). Ho anche alcune new entries che vi mostrerò nei prossimi post di outfit. Ora, dopo un look più rilassato, un nuovo outfit con minigonna ! Ho comprato questa miningonna a strisce nere e bordeaux da Zara, uno dei miei luoghi preferiti per lo shopping, come già sapete !.

I paired this striped skirt with a black turtleneck and a black blazer from Carla G. and I added some fun with a statement necklace and a statement bracelet from Zara.

Ho abbinato la gonna a strisce con una maglia a collo alto nera ed un blazer dal collo "frastagliato" di Carla G, aggiungendo un po' di colore con una collana e un bracciale particolari di Zara.

The central part of this outfit are no doubt my boots, I love them so much because they have this '60 vibe, for their shape and mirror heels, they have high heels that are comfy enough and their leather is very soft. You are going to see me wearing them often, absolutely !. You can see them better in the pic below. I am a sucker for soft black leather items...in fact my latest bag purchase is a black and roomy bag, I am gonna show it to you soon ! Are you getting ready for New Year's eve ? We're going to the mountains for a few days, mostly to relax and I can't wait !. How are you gonna spend New Year's eve ?.

La parte centrale di questo outfit sono senza dubbio i miei stivali, li adoro perché hanno un'aria anni '60 grazie alla loro forma ed al tacco a specchio interno, sono alti ma sono comodi e di un pellame molto morbido. Me li vedrete indosso molto spesso, sicuramente !. Potete vederli meglio nella foto sottostante. Ho un debole per i capi in morbida pelle nera...infatti anche il mio ultimo acquisto in fatto di borse è una borsa spaziosa e nera, ve la mostrerò presto ! Intanto, siete pronti per l'ultimo dell'anno ? Noi andremo in montagna per qualche giorno, più che altro per rilassarci e non vedo l'ora !. Voi come trascorrerete il Capodanno ?.

Balenciaga coat and a flower on my hat !

Meet my fave coat for this winter: a black wool mix double breasted coat from Balenciaga featuring wide lapels with leather trim, long sleeves, side pockets, tailored fit and buttoned closure. It's been a present from my husband and I love it. It's simple enough to be chic also on a pair of jeans and long enough to look good on a smarter dress.

Vi presento il mio cappotto preferito per questo inverno: è di lana, nero, a doppio petto, di Balenciaga, con profili in pelle nera, maniche lunghe, tasche laterali e bottoni. E' stato un regalo di mio marito e lo amo, è semplice abbastanza da risultare chic con un paio di jeans e lungo abbastanza per un abitino più elegante.

Meet also my latest hat in my hats collection ! I have quite a few hats, most of them are beanies, but I have a few that stand out, like this houndstooth woolen hat with a red, wool flower. In spite of my love for the houndstooth trend, I wasn't looking for such a hat, but when I entered this concept store called "Block 60" and saw it on a shelf, among beautiful clothes, bags and books, I know it HAD to be mine !.
This hat is 100% wool and the red flower is detachable, perfect for when I need something less...eye catching !.

Vi presento anche il mio ultimo cappello, new entry nella mia collezione ! Ne ho un bel po', la maggior parte sono "a cuffia", ma ne ho alcuni che di distringuono, come questo cappello pied de poule con un fiore rosso in lana. Nonostante il mio professato amore per la stampa pied de poule, non stavo cercando un cappello così, ma quando sono entrata in un negozio che adoro, chiamato "Block 60" e l'ho visto su uno scaffale, tra bellissimi abiti, borse e libri, ho subito capito che sarebbe diventato mio !.
Il cappello è in 100% lana e il fiore rosso è staccabile, perfetto per quando ho bisogno di qualcosa di meno...evidente !.

I believe in the power of accessories, and a hat can truly change an entire outfit. Of course, not all people like to wear a hat. I sure do, moreover when the weather starts being cold and windy wearing a hat is also the right solution to keep my hairdo in shape and for keeping me warm ;).
What are your feelings about hats ? Do you wear them ?.

Credo nel potere degli accessori, e che un cappello possa cambiare un intero outfit. Certamente, non a tutti piace indossare qualcosa sulla testa. Io posso dire di amare i cappelli, ancor più quando il freddo e il vento si fanno sentire...allora ecco che il giusto copricapo si rivela comodo sia per salvaguardare la piega che per tenermi al caldo ;).
Voi cosa ne pensate dei cappelli, vi piacciono ? Li indossate ?.

Basta un semplice gesto, ed eccomi in alcuni scatti senza il cappello ! Invece, per scoprire cosa indossavo sotto al cappotto dovrete attendere un altro post...è ovvio che si tratti di una gonna o, comunque, di un abito...in quale colore secondo voi ?! ;).
