Fantasy print coat

This season I've been drooling over Prada and Miu Miu fall collections, with a special mention for the fantasy printed coats and suits. Well, this graphic printed coat is a much cheaper alternative that I was happy to welcome into my wardrobe !. It has three quarter sleeves and an oversize shape, and I thought it would be perfect with a casual outfit made with jeans and a fun sweater !.

Questa stagione mi ha vista sbavare sulle collezioni autunnali di Prada e Miu Miu, con menzione speciale per i cappotti e completi a fantasia. Questo cappotto a stampa grafica è un'alternativa sicuramente più economica che sono stata ben felice di accogliere nel mio guardaroba !. Ha le maniche a tre quarti ed una forma oversize, che ho pensato adatta ad un look casual con jeans e un maglione stampato !.

I have decided to wear this coat with my Loriblu ankle boots, they have high heels and a delicate python print. I also added a lovely bag that caught my attention a while ago: it's part in demin and it features the skyline of a city and I think it's very cute ! It makes me think of New York.
Surely I am also influenced by my love for New York that you must have noticed in my flat !. Only after my purchase I found out, about this bag, that Stussy has teamed up with Love+Made (an all-female creative collective) for a limited-edition collection called "Heartbeat City" that has an 80s vibe. I have this habit of looking up for the things I bought on the internet, do you have it as well ?.

Ho deciso di indossare questo cappotto con stivaletti di Loriblu dal tacco alto e dalla delicata stampa pitonata. Ho aggiunto una borsetta deliziosa che ha catturato la mia attenzione tempo fa: è in parte di jeans e raffigura la skyline di una città che mi piace pensare come New York, non è carinissima ?.
Sicuramente sono molto di parte a causa della mia ossessione per New York che avete potuto notare anche nel mio appartamento !. Solo dopo il mio acquisto ho scoperto, a proposito della borsa, che Stussy ha collaborato con un collettivo di creative tutto al femminile per una edizione limitata chiamata "Heartbeat City" dal sapore anni '80. Ho questa abitudine di cercare le cose che ho comprato su internet, lo fate anche voi ?.

The sweater I am wearing underneath was one of my purchases at Asos, it's very warm and comfy ! It's from River Island and it has "girl" written on it as well as roses design across the chest. I surely I am gonna wear it also with skirts !.

Il maglione che indosso sotto al cappotto è stato un acquisto da Asos, è molto caldo e comodo ! E' di River Island e ha la scritta "girl" oltre ad un motivo a rose. Lo indosserò sicuramente anche con le gonne !.

In the pic above, here's my Tiffany Infinity bracelet that it's one of my most treasured Tiffany items. I love it and I think if I didn't have it already, it would surely be in my Christmas wishlist ! Well, wait...there is also an Infinity necklace, after all ! ;).
In these pics I am wearing a limited edition lipstick from Estée Lauder, it's violet crush from the Violet Underground collection. This collection is one of my fave make up collections ever ! I got the palette and also both the limited edition lipsticks, they are both very bold and have a matte finish.
Now I am off, trying to buy some Christmas presents...as always, I am gonna need to go shopping until the very last day !.

Nella foto sopra, ecco il mio bracciale Infinity di Tiffany, uno dei miei gioielli Tiffany più amati e indossati. Credo che se non lo avessi già sarebbe nella mia wishlist natalizia ! Beh, aspettate...c'è anche una collana simile, dopotutto ! ;).
In queste foto porto il rossetto in edizione limitata di Estée Lauder, si chiama violet crush dalla collezione Violet Underground, una delle mie preferite di sempre ! Ho sia la palette di ombretti che entrambi i rossetti in edizione limitata, entrambi molto forti e con un finish mat.
Ora vado a cercare di comprare qualche regalo di Natale...come sempre, avrò bisogno di fare shopping fino all'ultimo giorno !.

Balenciaga coat and a flower on my hat !

Meet my fave coat for this winter: a black wool mix double breasted coat from Balenciaga featuring wide lapels with leather trim, long sleeves, side pockets, tailored fit and buttoned closure. It's been a present from my husband and I love it. It's simple enough to be chic also on a pair of jeans and long enough to look good on a smarter dress.

Vi presento il mio cappotto preferito per questo inverno: è di lana, nero, a doppio petto, di Balenciaga, con profili in pelle nera, maniche lunghe, tasche laterali e bottoni. E' stato un regalo di mio marito e lo amo, è semplice abbastanza da risultare chic con un paio di jeans e lungo abbastanza per un abitino più elegante.

Meet also my latest hat in my hats collection ! I have quite a few hats, most of them are beanies, but I have a few that stand out, like this houndstooth woolen hat with a red, wool flower. In spite of my love for the houndstooth trend, I wasn't looking for such a hat, but when I entered this concept store called "Block 60" and saw it on a shelf, among beautiful clothes, bags and books, I know it HAD to be mine !.
This hat is 100% wool and the red flower is detachable, perfect for when I need something less...eye catching !.

Vi presento anche il mio ultimo cappello, new entry nella mia collezione ! Ne ho un bel po', la maggior parte sono "a cuffia", ma ne ho alcuni che di distringuono, come questo cappello pied de poule con un fiore rosso in lana. Nonostante il mio professato amore per la stampa pied de poule, non stavo cercando un cappello così, ma quando sono entrata in un negozio che adoro, chiamato "Block 60" e l'ho visto su uno scaffale, tra bellissimi abiti, borse e libri, ho subito capito che sarebbe diventato mio !.
Il cappello è in 100% lana e il fiore rosso è staccabile, perfetto per quando ho bisogno di qualcosa di meno...evidente !.

I believe in the power of accessories, and a hat can truly change an entire outfit. Of course, not all people like to wear a hat. I sure do, moreover when the weather starts being cold and windy wearing a hat is also the right solution to keep my hairdo in shape and for keeping me warm ;).
What are your feelings about hats ? Do you wear them ?.

Credo nel potere degli accessori, e che un cappello possa cambiare un intero outfit. Certamente, non a tutti piace indossare qualcosa sulla testa. Io posso dire di amare i cappelli, ancor più quando il freddo e il vento si fanno sentire...allora ecco che il giusto copricapo si rivela comodo sia per salvaguardare la piega che per tenermi al caldo ;).
Voi cosa ne pensate dei cappelli, vi piacciono ? Li indossate ?.

One of the easiest changes ever...and here I am, in a few hatless pics !. Instead, to see what I was wearing under my black coat you have to wait for another post...in the meantime, it's evident there's a dress or anyway a skirt underneath...guess the color ?! ;).

Basta un semplice gesto, ed eccomi in alcuni scatti senza il cappello ! Invece, per scoprire cosa indossavo sotto al cappotto dovrete attendere un altro post...è ovvio che si tratti di una gonna o, comunque, di un abito...in quale colore secondo voi ?! ;).

A touch of red

A red coat to brighten up the first outfit of november :). I admit red is a color I don't often wear but anytime I do I end up for falling in love with this color.
It all started with my brand new OPI nail polish...I like it so much, it's a cherry red color I advice any nail polish lover to buy, the name is "an affair in red square".
I couldn't wait to wear that dress from Mina UK, it's lovely cause I am a sucker for asymmetry, ruffles and lace and this one has a shoulder to waist asymmetrical winding ruffle !.
And yes, I got another pair of Litas in grey suede...If buying the same things in more colors is a crime I plead guilty !.
What about you...Are you also a serial buyer ?. Often I end up having more sweaters of different colors, same shoes with different colors !. Example of this is that the Gucci scarf you see on the first pic is owned by me in three colors, black, dark grey and grey, LOL.
I admit my serial shopper dream is having a closet full with different colors Balenciaga bags...maybe one day ! ;-).

Un cappotto rosso per illuminare il primo outfit di novembre :). Ammetto di non indossare spesso abiti di colore rosso ma ogni volta che lo faccio finisco per innamorarmi di questo colore.
E' iniziato tutto quando ho provato il mio nuovissimo smalto della OPI...mi piace tanto, è una sorta di rosso ciliegia metallico e lo consiglio ad ogni amante delle unghie laccate, il nome è "an affair in red square".
Non vedevo l'ora di indossare questo abitino di Mina UK, lo trovo adorabile in quanto mi piacciono molto i ricci, l'effetto pizzo e le asimmetrie...e questo abito ha un riccio che va dal punto vita fino alla spalla !.
Inoltre...ebbene sì, ho un altro paio di Lita in grigio scamosciato...Se comprare lo stesso articolo in colori diversi fosse un crimine, ammetto la mia colpevolezza !. E voi ? Siete - come me - serial shopper ?. Spesso finisco per avere maglie uguali ma di diversi colori, scarpe di uguale modello ma colori diversi !. Un esempio è la sciarpa Gucci che vedete nella prima foto, la possiedo in tre colori...nero, grigio scuro e grigio chiaro, LOL !.
Ammetto che il mio sogno di serial shopper sarebbe avere un armadio pieno di borse Balenciaga di diversi colori...forse, un giorno ! ;-).

Cookies of the day is about online shopping. I've been using it more and more lately and I think it's easier to find cute clothes and accessories, plus very often it's more convenient compared to traditional shopping. I love getting new parcels in the mail !. I've been using Asos like many of you, Zalando is also a great web shop but also wanna experiment new online shops, do you have any to suggest me ?.

I would also thank you so much all of you for your comments, I will visit your blogs with a bit of time, I dedicate part of my spare time to my blog when I am not working :) Also I would like to ask to new followers to let me know you are following my blog by writing a comment and also use the Google Friend Connect box on the right, I found out on many blogs the upper bar with the "follow" button is not working properly ;). Il cookies of the day è a proposito dello shopping online. Lo sto usando sempre più e credo sia facile in questo modo trovare abiti e accessori un po' originali e molto carini, inoltre spesso è anche più conveniente economicamente rispetto allo shopping tradizionale. Amo ricevere nuovi pacchetti con la posta !. Ho adoperato Asos come sicuramente molti di voi, Zalando è anche un ottimo web shop ma vorrei scoprirne altri, ne avete qualcuno da suggerirmi ?.
