Spice it up with leopard print

 

It's not a mistery I love me some leopard print. A touch of animalier is something that you love or hate. This print is now a classic and I love it, as you probably already knew from this blog !. One of the easiest way to match a leopard print piece of clothing (without being tacky) is to wear it with no other printed items, just like I did in this outfit that goes from casual to trendy with a leopard print furry jacket worn with jeans and biker boots. If done the right way, leopard print can truly spice it up ! So, don't be afraid, for leopard print can be your friend ;).

Non è un mistero che io ami le stampe leopardate. Un tocco di animalier, solitamente, si ama o si odia. Io amo questa stampa che ormai è diventata un classico, e probabilmente chi segue il blog lo sa già da un bel pezzo !. Uno dei modi più facili per abbinare un capo leopardato (senza sembrare Zia Assunta) è quello di indossarlo con altri capi a tinta unita, proprio come ho fatto con questo outfit che va da casual a trendy con una giacca in ecopelliccia leopardata indossata con jeans e biker boots. Se usata nel modo giusto, la stampa leopardo può davvero dare un tocco particolare al tutto ! Non abbiate paura, la stampa leo può essere vostra amica.

Bloggers do it better

No, the title of this post doesn't mean I am having a major ego boost. Let me explain: today's outfit is dedicated to a friend of mine, Monica. She was the one to gift me with a lovely blouse that has the writing "Outfits - bloggers do it better" on the front, and I liked that very much that I built a look around it, wearing my tartan miniskirt, a blazer and a green fedora hat. 

Monica didn't get too surprised when she found out I had a blog, cause she's been knowing me for many years and she knows how much I always loved fashion, shopping and matching clothes and accessories together. All my friends know I am crazy about fashion, but only a few everyday life friends know me as a fashion blogger, and she is one of them. 

I think this blouse was a way for her to say "well done", and I appreciated it a lot. Of course I do not think us bloggers do it better all the time, we are humans and of course we fail, but what's failing anyway ? I think if we are happy with what we are wearing and if it makes us feel good, we're all winners in the end, and this applies to bloggers but not only, it's the same for every single person. Fashion is fun and fashion can be our friend, especially if we face life with the right amount of irony ;).

No, il titolo di questo post non significa che sto attraversando un momento di esaltazione. Ora vi spiego: l'outfit di oggi è dedicato alla mia amica Monica, è stata lei a regalarmi questa adorabile blusa con la scritta "Outfits - bloggers do it better" sul davanti, e mi è piaciuta così tanto che ci ho costruito questo look attorno, indossando una minigonna tartan, un blazer colorato ed un cappello modello fedora in verde. 

Monica non si è sorpresa più di tanto quando ha scoperto che avevo un blog, mi conosce da tanti anni e sa bene quanto io ami la moda, lo shopping e fare abbinamenti tra abiti e accessori. Tutti sanno che vado pazza per la moda, ma lei è una delle poche persone tra i miei amici a sapere del mio fashion blog. Credo che questo regalo inaspettato da parte sua volesse dire "ben fatto", e l'ho apprezzato molto. Ovviamente non penso che noi blogger creiamo sempre i migliori outfits, siamo umani e ovviamente sbagliamo, ma cosa vuol dire sbagliare ? Credo che se siamo felici di quanto indossiamo e se ci fa sentire bene, alla fine siamo tutti vincitori, e questo vale sia per i blogger che per ogni singola persona. La moda è divertimento e può essere nostra amica, specialmente se affrontiamo la vita con la giusta dose di ironia ;). 

Bad hair day beanie

Can you just imagine one of those days when you feel too lazy to dress up, and moreover you're having a bad hair day ? It's the kind of day when, if you go out, you'll surely bump into an old enemy of yours, or an exm, or someone you want to impress. 

Well, in days like these you'll better have your best friend with you - aka, one of your most treasured bags, the one you dreamt of for a long time - and a "who cares" attitude. A day like that will even turn into a good one if you'll be wearing at least one out of two must haves of this season: the "bad hair day" beanie and...a coatigan !.

Potete immaginare una di quelle giornate in cui vi siete svegliati senza voglia di vestirvi per bene, ed inoltre i vostri capelli non ne vogliono sapere di sistemarsi, ovvero state avendo un caso di "bad hair day" da manuale ? E' il genere di giornata in cui, se uscirete, finirete per incontrare una vostra nemica di lunga data, o l'ex che vi ha spezzato il cuore anni addietro o, peggio, qualcuno su cui volevate fare colpo.

Beh, in giornate come questa, farete meglio ad uscire accompagnate dalla vostra migliore amica - ovvero, una delle vostre borse preferite, quella sognata e finalmente vostra - ed un atteggiamento da "chissenefrega". Una giornata simile potrebbe persino rivelarsi divertente, indossando almeno uno dei due must have di questa stagione: il cappellino "bad hair day" e...un coatigan !.
