Florals for Spring and the Gardening trend

Florals for Spring ? Groundbreaking - as Miranda Priestly from Devil Wears Prada would say. Actually, florals - seen on this fashion blog all the time, because I am obsessed - are a hot trend also for this warm season, in a slightly different way compared to the past season, when we had more delicate and small blooms...now the flowers are bolder, larger and also more colorful. Just think about the amazing Dolce & Gabbana Spring Summer 2015 collection, filled with the most beautiful flowers: orange blossoms, mimosas, roses and carnations on skirts, dresses, bon ton coats and also on shoes and bags. Florals have been chosen by many other designers such as Givenchy, Michael Kors, Stella McCartney and in most of cases the prints feature big flowers, and also leaves, green leaves everywhere just like in the cute Moschino Cheap and Chic resort fantasy print dress you see in the image below. Anyway, it's not just only about flowers and leaves, a trend taking inspiration directly from gardening clothing, takes us in a magical place where women wear denim dungarees, rubber boots, fun gloves and flirty wide brim hats to repair from the sun.

Gardening in our closet: fashion blogger tips

Gardening, flowers and leaves,  back to nature, it all seems to make sense, either you consider this trend in a bon ton way, with floral midi skirts and pointy shoes, wearing flower decorated necklaces as ornament, or you go hippy chic, with a true inspiration from 70s and love for nature and freedom, with maxi floral skirtsbell bottoms and flower crowns your head, sure this trend is all to explore. Now we can go gardening in our closet: something new comes from the gardening mood, that brings us gardening equipment inspired clothes just like the adorable MSGM dungaree dress with flower appliques you see above on the left or jeans and nylon jackets, that puts flowers on the rubber boots, for a woman having fun with big hats and protective gardening gloves. This gardening woman fascinates me, as one of my deepest regrets is not having a garden of my own. I love to visit gardens and also to read informative gardening guides that can help turning even a little patio into a relaxing and beautiful space.  I live in a flat and I can't do much compared to real garden owners, all I do is growing a few plants on my balconies - I am a city girl in need of beautiful sunny days in open air, of colorful flowers and luckily, fashion can make my dream come true !.

  18. The one thing that I really enjoy about the constant spring/floral trend is that the type of floral prints are ever changing. So while it's predictable and you can still reuse clothes from last season, you've got that new additions as well.

:-P IMPOSSIBILE FERMARE I BATTITI //PAGINA FB
