Camp Beverly Hills

Today has been my last day of work before my one week and a half break. Let's celebrate it with a casual outfit that makes me dream about sunny California !.
In these pics I am wearing a canary yellow t-shirt from Camp Beverly Hills, the first classic American sportswear brand born in 1977 in Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills.
Their original logo has been re-launched for 2012 and it's well known in the USA,
Camp Beverly Hills tees were collected and worn by a young Drew Barrymore, Barbara Streisand at the height of her fame, Jane Fonda at her legendary fitness studio and scores of other stars. I am very demanding with quality when it comes to sportswear clothes and I have fallen in love with this brand also for the quality !.

Oggi è stato il mio ultimo giorno di ufficio prima di una pausa di una settimana e mezzo. Per l'occasione, ecco un outfit casual che mi fa sognare la soleggiata California !.
In queste foto indosso una t-shirt giallo canarino di Camp Beverly Hills, la prima marca di abbigliamento sportivo americano, nata nel 1977 a Rodeo Drive a Beverly Hills.
Il logo originale è stato riproposto per il 2012 ed è molto conosciuto negli USA. Infatti, le t-shirts di Camp Beverly Hills sono state indossate da star americane come Drew Barrymoore, Barbara Streisand all'apice della carriera, Jane Fonda nel suo leggendario studio di fitness e tante altre stars. Sono molto esigente quando si parla di abbigliamento casual e mi sono innamorata di questo brand anche per la qualità !.

I am wearing jeans from Latinò, yellow pumps and my Juicy Couture backpack bag bought in NY. I am also sporting a Zara beetles necklace which is weird to me because I am really insects phobic and I have to confess even tho I love it, it felt a bit weird to wear that around my neck, LOL !.

Indosso jeans di Latinò, pumps gialle e la borsa modello zaino di Juicy Couture. Ho al collo una collana di Zara con ciondoli a forma di scarafaggio il che è strano per una insettofobica come me...devo confessare che sebbene mi piaccia, mi ha fatto uno strano effetto metterla intorno al collo, LOL !.

You can see a set I made for this outfit above. Now I am off to keep working on the flat, as many of you know we're in the middle of a big remodeling...I am blogging from another room right now and it's very nice, we even put a big New York canvas on the wall, I am gonna show you some pics soon when it's all done ! I have a massive DVD collection and now the couch seems more inviting than ever...even tho I enjoy going out so much that I don't know when I am finally gonna rest ;-).

Sopra potete vedere un set che ho creato per questo outfit. Ora vado a continuare i miei lavori in casa, come molti di voi sanno siamo alle prese con una grande ristrutturazione...ora sto "bloggando" da una stanza diversa e sta venendo molto bene, abbiamo anche un enorme canvas rappresentante New York sul muro, vi farò vedere presto qualche foto non appena tutto pronto ! Ho una grande collezione di DVD e ora il divano sembra ancora più invitante...anche se mi piace così tanto uscire che non so quando riuscirò ad approfittarne ;-).

Relaxing blue

In these days I am dreaming so much about relaxing on the beach, yet I am still very busy with office job and also with remodeling of the newest part of my flat.
My apartment is filled with Ikea boxes and I am, slowly, starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel but it's very time and energy consuming (the idea of a big walk in closet and also a vanity table can make every girl bear any effort, I suppose !). Anyway...what is most relaxing color to face the stress ? Blue, of course ! ;-) I really turned into a blue fan, I know !.

In questi giorni sto sognando di potermi rilassare sulla spiaggia, invece sono ancora molto occupata tra l'ufficio e anche le modifiche della parte più recente del mio appartamento.
Ho la casa piena di scatoloni Ikea e sto iniziando, seppur lentamente, a rivedere la luce alla fine del tunnel ma occorrono molto tempo ed energia (l'idea di una stanza guardaroba e di un vanity table può far sopportare lo sforzo ad ogni ragazza, suppongo !). Comunque...qual è il colore più rilassante per affrontare lo stress ? Il blu, ovviamente ! ;-) Sono proprio diventata una fan di questo colore, lo so !.

This monochrome outfit is composed of a light silk fantasy printed dress by Pinko, my Cesare Paciotti suede sandals and my beloved Balenciaga City bag. I added a necklace from H&M and an Asos claw bracelet. The dress has a very original cut, you can't see it in these pics but it's cut also on the back. The print features tiny drops. I love wearing silk fabric dresses cause it's so light on the skin !.
I think this outfit goes very well with the following pic from my latest holiday, with the sea and the umbrellas on the beach...! Maybe if I concentrate hard enough I can just go back to that fantastic week ?! Oh, I wish !. For now, I tried to relax with online shopping...still waiting for a couple of parcels...come on !.

Questo outfit monocromatico si compone di un abito in seta leggera a fantasia di Pinko, dei miei sandali scamosciati Cesare Paciotti e l'adorata borsa Balenciaga City. Ho aggiunto una collana di H&M e il bracciale "artiglio" di Asos.
L'abito ha un taglio molto particolare, non si vede da queste foto ma è tagliato anche sulla schiena. La fantasia è a piccole gocce. Adoro indossare abiti in seta, così leggera sulla pelle !.
Questo outfit si accorda bene con la foto seguente, riguarda la mia ultima vacanza, con il mare e gli ombrelloni in spiaggia... ! Forse, se mi concentro a sufficienza, riesco a tornare indietro a quella fantastica settimana ?! Oh, quanto lo vorrei !. Per ora, mi sono consolata con lo shopping online...devo ancora ricevere un paio di pacchetti...forza !.

There are those two pictures in the memory card of your camera, that you just didn't consider publishing because the light in the pics was not that good, your hair is a bit messy because of the wind and of a day spent under the sun and your almost didn't have any make up on. Then you remember your day was a day to remember, because you visited a new wonderful place, you ate delicious food at a new restaurant and time passed by with laughters and fun.
Now that you are back in the office and the next holidays are far you need to remember days like that one, it's a memory that makes you feel good and you find out those pics may not be perfect but you like them !.
I can't wait to have some more days to spend on holidays...

Ci sono sempre quel paio di foto nella memory card della macchina fotografica che non avevi preso in considerazione per un post perché la luce non era buona, i capelli erano spettinati dal vento e un po' disordinati dopo una giornata sotto al sole e non ti eri quasi truccata. Poi, improvvisamente, ti ricordi che quel giorno era un giorno da ricordare, perché hai visto degli splendidi posti nuovi, hai mangiato meravigliosamente bene in un nuovo ristorante e il tempo è volato tra risate e divertimento. Ora che sei tornata in ufficio e le prossime vacanze sono lontane hai bisogno di ricordare giornate come quella, è un ricordo che fa stare bene e scopri che quelle foto, sebbene tutt'altro che perfette, ti piacciono !.
Non vedo l'ora di avere altri giorni di vacanza...
