The F word for a casual rebel outfit: Fuck perfection is the message on my t-shirt !

The "F word" as a wish of happiness. This casual outfit on my fashion blog today is kind of rebel, I sported this "Fuck perfection" t-shirt during my latest holidays in South Tyrol, for a walk among the apple trees and a great lunch at Wiedenplatzerkeller restaurant. You will forgive me for this use of the "F word", but in this case the message is strong and clear: let's stop trying too hard to be perfect, life is just one, and we should live it to the fullest being proud of who we are, even with our little imperfections that make us unique. This casual rebel look involved patched jeans (already seen in a casual trendy look) and scarf from Zara, my most comfortable bag, Givenchy Pandora in large size, and adidas Originals Supercolor sneakers in royal blue, together with my beloved Hypeglass sunglasses

La parola con la F per un outfit casual ribelle: Fuck perfection è il messaggio sulla mia t-shirt !

La parola che inizia con F come augurio di felicità. L'outfit casual sul mio fashion blog oggi è un po' ribelle, con questa t-shirt con la scritta "Fuck perfection" che ho sfoggiato durante la mia vacanza in Sud Tirolo, per una passeggiata tra i meleti ed un ottimo pranzo al ristorante Wiedenplatzerkeller. Mi perdonerete l'uso della parola che inizia con la F, ma in questo caso il messaggio è chiaro e forte: smettiamola di provare ardentemente di essere perfetti, la vita è una sola e dovremmo viverla fino in fondo, orgogliosi di chi siamo, anche delle nostre piccole imperfezioni che ci rendono unici. Questo look casual e ribelle comprende anche pantaloni con toppe (già mostrati in un look casual trendy) e sciarpona Zara, la mia borsa più capiente e comoda, la Pandora Givenchy in misura large, e sneakers adidas Originals Supercolor in blu elettrico, insieme ai miei adorati occhiali da sole Hypeglass

Countryside chic

Finally, a sunny day, even if the air turned fresh again I can smell Spring and when a day like this occurs, I am likely to need a comfortable, relaxed outfit, to take things easy in a period of hectic work. An outfit like that always includes a pair of jeans, comfortable sneakers, a roomy bag and something fancy as top and jacket, to keep it comfy and chic: the perfect recipe for a day spent outside, especially if I, usually a seaside girl, make a change and spend it in the countryside !.

Finalmente un bel giorno di sole, anche se l'aria si è rinfrescata parecchio la Primavera è arrivata, e quando capita una giornata del genere, mi capita di aver bisogno di un look comodo e rilassato, per prendermela comoda. Un outfit del genere include sempre un paio di jeans, sneakers comode, una borsa capiente e qualcosa di particolare da indossare come top e come giacca, per mantenersi comode ma chic: è la ricetta che preferisco per godermi una giornata rilassante, specialmente se trascorsa, io che sono una "ragazza di mare", in aperta campagna !.

Fuchsia coat, color block bag

 

I love playing with colors, and you know that already. I also love coats, I wish I had one in any color and print, and when I found out I didn't have a fuchsia coat yet, I found a very nice one at Persunmall. This outfit has the three "C": it's casual, comfortable and colorful !. A bold color block for my brand new suede and leather bag, directly from an emerging handbag designer based in New York, Two Tickets Handbags and Accessories.

Amo giocare con i colori, questo già lo sapete. Mi piacciono molto i cappotti, ne vorrei uno in ogni colore e fantasia, e quanto ho realizzato di non avere ancora un capospalla fucsia ho rimediato subito con questo, carinissimo, scovato su Persunmall.

Questo outfit ha le tre "C" di ordinanza: è casual, comodo e coloratissimo !. Un color block di impatto anche per la mia nuova borsa in pelle e camoscio arrivata direttamente da New York, fatta a mano da Two Tickets Handbags and Accessories. 

Heart sweater for Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's day, everyone, from me, Valentina ;). This is a day to celebrate love in many ways, love for your partner, for your friends and family, your pets, for yourself, for life !. I am going to a romantic dinner with hubby later this evening, we make sure we show each other love with tiny gestures every day, so this is just another chance to spend a different evening together, plus...it's my name day !. How are you going to spend this day ?. 

Tonight is gonna be a night for fancy dressed and heels, but I decided to postpone an elegant outfit and to show you a layered, more casual outfit, featuring a Valentine's themed sweater, because what would this day be without a big, red heart ?.

Buon San Valentino a tutti da me, Valentina ;). Considero questa festa una celebrazione dell'amore, che sia per il partner, per gli amici e la famiglia, per i vostri animali domestici, per voi stessi, per la vita !. Stasera io e il maritino ci concederemo una cenetta romantica, ovviamente facciamo in modo di dimostrarci ciò che proviamo ogni giorno con piccoli gesti, è solo un'occasione per passare una serata diversa insieme, inoltre...oggi è anche il mio onomastico !. 

Voi come trascorrerete questa giornata ?. Questa sera sarà un tripudio di abitini eleganti e tacchi e io ho deciso di rimandare l'outfit elegante per mostrarvi un look più casual, "a strati" con maglione a tema San Valentino, perché dopotutto cosa sarebbe una festa così senza un grande e rosso cuore ?.

Fair Isle sweater

What are you up to ? I have spent less time online these days, mostly because I took advantage of my days off from work to see friends and to go out, and I needed to recharge my batteries. Now, sales are up in all italian shops and I should be out there looking for the bargain of my life, but before that it's time for another outfit post, this time it's casual look, perfect for running from a shop to another one, or just for a relaxing day with friends and family. I like the colors of this jumper that I decided to bring in this whole, vaguely ethnic, look . 

Che fate di bello ? In questi giorni sono stata un po' meno presente online, più che altro perché ho approfittato delle ferie per vedere gli amici e uscire di più, inoltre avevo bisogno di ricaricare le batterie. Ora i saldi sono iniziati in tutti i negozi italiani e dovrei essere fuori alla ricerca dell'affare della mia vita, ma prima è il momento per mostrarvi un nuovo outfit ! Stavolta si tratta di un look casual, perfetto sia per correre da un negozio all'altro che per una giornata da trascorrere in relax con amici e famiglia. Mi piacciono molto i colori di questo maglione che ho ripreso per tutto il look, evidenziandone il mood etnico.

Ops, I did it again ! After a few chic and pretty bon ton looks, I went out in a comfortable outfit, to spend a day of fun and relax and good food. I chose my new Adidas "Originals Honey Hi" sneakers from Jdsports, a funky multicolored cardigan from Cichic and a beanie that matched the shoes. This street style attire has three important things to face a cold Fall afternoon: it's casual, colorful and warm !.

Ops, l'ho fatto ancora una volta...Dopo diversi look chic e abbastanza bon ton, non ho resistito e sono uscita con un look comodo, per trascorrere una giornata di divertimento, relax e buon cibo. Ho scelto le mie nuove sneakers "Adidas Originals Honey Hi" prese da  Jdsports , un cardigan coloratissimo di Cichic e un beanie in lana in tinta con scarpe e maglione. Questa mia tenuta così street style possiede le tre "C", necessarie per affrontare un freddo pomeriggio di tardo autunno: è comoda, colorata e calda ! E no, "come cavolo ti sei vestita" NON è la quarta C ! Ahahah :P.

Cobalt blue Ruco Line sneakers

Lately I've been having so much fun with casual outfits, also because casual wear easily allows me to play with a lot of different clothes and accessories, just as I like it. Casual doesn't mean shabby, I think it just means freedom to express myself and to play with fashion without rules and formalities. Surely, sneakers have an important role in casual wear, and my new Ruco Line cobalt blue sneakers were the starting point for this blue centered look. Here we are with my quality, beautiful sneakers that are both pretty and very comfortable, produced by an italian brand I've been knowing for years and that I have always been a fan of.  

Ultimamente mi sto divertendo più del solito a vestirmi casual, anche perché look più sportivi mi permettono maggiormente di giocare con diversi capi ed accessori, proprio come piace a me. Casual non vuol dire affatto trasandatezza, per me vuol dire libertà di espressione e di giocare con la moda senza troppe regole e formalismi. Sicuramente, un ruolo importante in questo tipo di look lo giocano le sneakers, e proprio le mie nuove sneakers Ruco Line blu cobalto sono state il punto di partenza per questo outfit nei toni del blu. Eccovi dunque le mie sneakers di qualità, molto belle e anche molto comode, prodotte da un brand italiano che conosco da anni e che mi è sempre piaciuto.

Bad hair day beanie

Can you just imagine one of those days when you feel too lazy to dress up, and moreover you're having a bad hair day ? It's the kind of day when, if you go out, you'll surely bump into an old enemy of yours, or an exm, or someone you want to impress. 

Well, in days like these you'll better have your best friend with you - aka, one of your most treasured bags, the one you dreamt of for a long time - and a "who cares" attitude. A day like that will even turn into a good one if you'll be wearing at least one out of two must haves of this season: the "bad hair day" beanie and...a coatigan !.

Potete immaginare una di quelle giornate in cui vi siete svegliati senza voglia di vestirvi per bene, ed inoltre i vostri capelli non ne vogliono sapere di sistemarsi, ovvero state avendo un caso di "bad hair day" da manuale ? E' il genere di giornata in cui, se uscirete, finirete per incontrare una vostra nemica di lunga data, o l'ex che vi ha spezzato il cuore anni addietro o, peggio, qualcuno su cui volevate fare colpo.

Beh, in giornate come questa, farete meglio ad uscire accompagnate dalla vostra migliore amica - ovvero, una delle vostre borse preferite, quella sognata e finalmente vostra - ed un atteggiamento da "chissenefrega". Una giornata simile potrebbe persino rivelarsi divertente, indossando almeno uno dei due must have di questa stagione: il cappellino "bad hair day" e...un coatigan !.

In the mood for plaid

Hello everyone ! Finally, the week is coming to an end...I can't wait for the weekend !.

This is the kind of look I like to sport for daytime on a Saturday, it's great for a shopping spree...it's simple yet rich when it comes to tartan prints, because I have always liked this trend, maybe because it brings back happy childhood memories ;)...I know I will soon have to enter plaidaholics anonymous, but I promise very soon I will stop buying tartan printed clothes (or, at least, I will try to ! :D).

Ciao a tutti ! Finalmente la settimana lavorativa sta volgendo al termine...non vedo l'ora che arrivi il weekend !. Questo è il tipo di look che mi piace adottare per un Sabato mattina, va benissimo per un bel giro di shopping...è semplice, ma ricco in stampa tartan, perché amo questo trend da sempre, forse perché mi riporta indietro a ricordi della mia infanzia felice ;)...so che probabilmente dovrò entrare nei plaidaholics anonymous, ma prometto che  molto presto smetterò di comprare capi a stampa scozzese (o, almeno, ci proverò ! :D).

How are you all ? Today it's been raining hard in my town. I will better start my seasonal switch, because it seems Fall weather is finally kicking in !. One of the first things I do when it comes to seasonal change is organizing my shoes, switching from sandals to Fall shoes. I still have a few looks with open shoes that I want to show you, but today's look is featuring one of my latest purchases, my new, luxury, comfy leather Bruno Bordese sneakers, already in pole position in my shoes closet !.

Come state ? Nella mia città sta piovendo senza sosta. E' il momento giusto per iniziare il cambio di stagione, perché pare che l'Autunno sia arrivato alla grande !. Una delle prime cose che faccio quando si tratta di cambio stagionale è organizzare le calzature, per passare dai sandali alle scarpe autunnali. Ho ancora qualche look in scarpe aperte da mostrarvi, ma nell'outfit di oggi vi presento le mie nuove, lussuose, comodissime sneakers Bruno Bordese, già in pole position nella mia scarpiera !.

I will show you some of the outfits I've been sporting in Sorrento very soon, in the meantime I realized I didn't show you yet these these pics I have found in my camera, they are from last month and my days on the mountains in the opposite part of Italy, it's just a simple relaxed look I was wearing during my trip to "Bad Egart" - Sissi Museum - in Tyrol.

Hello guys ! I am really pleased to let you know that beginning today, I'll be on vacation all next week ! Not much, but it's enough to try and recharge my own personal battieries. To start these days in a relaxed mood, we have a casual outfit post, featuring one of the hottest trends of the moment: the number print t-shirt, for a sporty chic look. The basic rules for these tees are: they have a printed number on the front, just like football or basketball players tees, they're larger than average (pick a larger size to make it look as if you stole it from your boyfriend's closet) and you are supposed to mix them up with something extremely feminine, just like high heels and a clutch, like I did.

Ciao a tutti ! Sono lieta di informarvi che, a cominciare da oggi, sarò in ferie per tutta la prossima settimana ! Non tantissimo, ma abbastanza per tentare di ricaricare le mie personalissime batterie. Per iniziare queste giornate con un mood rilassato, ecco un outfit post casual, incentrato su uno dei trend del momento: la maglia con numero stampato, per un look sporty chic. Le regole di base per queste maglie sono: hanno un numero stampato sul davanti, proprio come le maglie dei giocatori di football o basket, sono più larghe del solito (sceglietene una di una taglia più grande per far sembrare come se l'aveste rubata dall'armadio del vostro ragazzo) e andrebbero indossate con qualcosa di estremamente femminile, come i tacchi alti ed una clutch, come nel mio caso.

After sporting maxi skirts, bell bottoms, mini and midi dresses, let's go back to my beloved boyfriend jeans with this new outfit post. Casual doesn't mean shabby...The right accessories and a nice tee can turn a simple look into a special one, especially if they are as colorful as this Who's Who blouse, with a beautiful flamingos and flowers print. I added a pair of mirrored sunglasses and...welcome to Miami ! (...I wish !)

Dopo aver indossato maxi gonne, pantaloni a zampa, abiti corti e longuettes, torniamo ai miei adorati jeans boyfriend con questo post. Casual non vuol dire trasandato: i giusti accessori ed una tee particolare possono rendere speciale un look semplice come questo, specialmente se sono colorati come questa blusa di Who's Who, con una bella stampa di fenicotteri e fiori. Ho aggiunto un paio di occhiali a specchio e...benvenuti a Miami ! (...Magari !)

Grey sweater and a print messenger bag

Here we are with another casual outfit, with a grey cotton sweater that had been waiting in my closet for a few months, until a sunny and windy day !.
I've been very busy lately, been very busy at work and in my spare time I got totally hooked on Game of Thrones...I've bought the first 2 series on DVD and it's an amazing tv serie ! Do you also watch it ?. When I lack of time, I watch it whilst eating...I am a busy bee !.
Anyway, I think most of the fellow bloggers will relate about the guilt feelings that we feel when we have to neglect our blog and our readers, even if it's only for a couple of days...it doesn't feel good at all, does it ?!.

Eccoci con un altro outfit casual, con una maglia grigia in cotone mélange che è restata ad attendere nel mio armadio per mesi, finché ho finito per indossarla in una giornata soleggiata ma ventosa !.
Sono stata molto occupata al lavoro in questi ultimi giorni...e nel tempo libero sono stata totalmente assorbita dalla serie "Il trono di spade"...ho comprato i cofanetti dvd delle prime due serie, è veramente avvincente ! Voi la guardate ?. Quando ho poco tempo, ottimizzo guardando le serie mentre mangio...sono occupata !.
Comunque sia, credo che la maggior parte dei blogger condivideranno con me il fatto che si provi un certo senso di colpa quando si è costretti a trascurare un po' il blog e i propri lettori, anche se per un paio di giorni soltanto...non è una bella sensazione, giusto ?!.

Parka, sea print sweatshirt and raffia sneakers

The weather has officially gone crazy...I was longing for light clothes, bare legs and warm, Spring air...instead, it's been windy, cloudy and way cold for this time of the year !. Well, there are days when I don't feel like going out in high heels or "ladylike" clothes...I'll just wear something comfortable and casual, just like in these pics. 
When I am wearing casual outfits, I like to sport something a bit different, just like this sweatshirt and those sneakers. I like them very much and I purchased them myself, even tho my lovely hubby said the sweatshirt has the same print as a well known brand of bed sheets and he used to have the same print I have on my shoes on a bath mat...isn't he adorable ? That's also why I married him ! LOL.

Il tempo è ufficialmente impazzito...non vedevo l'ora di poter indossare abiti leggeri, di scoprire le gambe e di sentire l'aria calda e primaverile...invece c'è vento, è perennemente nuvoloso e freddo per questo periodo dell'anno !. In giorni come questi, mi capita di avere voglia di look casual e comodi, come questo che vedete in queste foto. Quando ho dei look casual, mi piace ancora di più portare capi un po' particolari, proprio come questa felpa e queste scarpe. Mi piacciono molto e li ho comprati io stessa, sebbene mio marito abbia detto che la felpa gli ricordi un lenzuolo di un famoso marchio italiano che inizia con la "B" e la stampa delle sneakers gli ricordi un suo tappetino da bagno...non è adorabile ? L'ho sposato proprio per questo ! :-).

Varsity Jacket and parody logo t-shirt

 

It's time for a new outfit post, this time it's a very casual one, featuring two hot trendy items for this season. The first one is my new Varsity jacket, one of the hottest trends for Spring 2013. I didn't want a plain one, so when I saw this one, with grey and black print on the sleeves, I understood it had to be mine !. 

Also, it seems wearing "subversive" logo tees is another hot trend, you can see the one I am wearing is a parody of the Givenchy logo...to be forgiven for my mockery, I decided to homage Givenchy wearing my beloved Pandora bag !. Am I forgiven ?.

E' tempo di un nuovo outfit, questa volta molto casual, con due capi trendy per questa stagione. Il primo è la mia nuova Varsity jacket, un capo molto in voga per la Primavera 2013. Non volevo una giacca troppo semplice o con evidenti ricami, così quando ho visto questa, con stampa nei toni del grigio e nero sulle maniche, ho capito che era quella giusta per me !.

L'altra tendenza riguarda le t-shirts "sovversive" con i nomi di brand famosi storpiati...potete vedere la mia,  con la parodia del logo Givenchy...per farmi perdonare la presa in giro, ho deciso omaggiare Givenchy indossando la mia adorata Pandora !. Sarò stata perdonata ?.

Lobster sweater and new Firmoo sunglasses

Living by the sea, I tend to eat a lot of sea food and I have to confess lobster is one of my fave foods ever, so when I spotted this cotton lobster printed sweater on Asos I thought it was so cute and therefore... "why not ?". After all, I have a raccoon sweater from the past winter, and a lobster one could be very appropriate for Springtime !.

My hubby was so amused when he saw me in this casual & "crustacean" outfit. I told him that instead of smiling he should have better taken me out for dinner ;-).

Vivendo sul mare, mi capita spesso di mangiare pesce e frutti di mare, e confesso che l'aragosta è uno dei miei cibi preferiti in assoluto. Non avevo pensato che un'aragosta potesse anche essere...carina da portare stampata su una maglia in cotone, ma con la maglia di Asos che vedete mi sono ricreduta !. Dopotutto, ho una maglia con procione che risale all'inverno e, pertanto, una con l'aragosta è appropriata per la Primavera !.

Mio marito si è divertito a passeggiare con me in questa tenuta casual e "crostacea", e io gli ho detto di ridere poco e, piuttosto, di portarmi a cena fuori ;-).

Casual & Fun with leopard print Vans

I find myself loving casual outfits more and more, especially when I have to do so many things and there's such a little time...and I need to dress up in a comfy, practical way. Comfortable dressing, to me, is a fun experience and it doesn't mean opening the closet and throwing a sweatshirt and jeans on myself without thinking too much. 

Here we are with a casual outfit, introducing my new leopard print Vans shoes, definately one of the comfiest pair of shoes I have ever had in my life !. 

Sto scoprendo di amare gli outfit casual sempre di più, specialmente quando esco per fare diverse cose in pochissimo tempo e ho bisogno di sentirmi comoda e pratica. Vestirsi in modo comodo per me è divertente e non significa optare per una felpa a caso e un paio di jeans senza pensarci su !. 

Ecco un outfit casual nel quale vi presento le mie nuove scarpe Vans a stampa leopardo, sicuramente tra le scarpe più comode mai avute in vita mia !.

Standout blouse and a small Miss Sicily bag

Hello everyone, hope you are having a lovely Sunday ! It's time for a new outfit post ! Spring is slowly kicking in, it's finally sunny outside and I couldn't be happier about it !. A few days ago, when these pics were taken, there still was a chilly wind blowing on the beach. My personal challenge, this time, was to style this adorably kitsch kettle print blouse with rhinestone decorated collar from Sheinside. Surely, an eye catcher and a must have for all tea/coffee lovers ! ;-P. 

Ciao a tutti, spero stiate trascorrendo una piacevole domenica ! E' tempo di mostrarvi un nuovo outfit ! La primavera sta prendendo lentamente piede, finalmente c'è il sole e non potrei esserne più felice ! Pochi giorni addietro, quando sono state scattate queste foto, c'era ancora un venticello molto fresco sulla spiaggia.
La mia sfida personale, questa volta, è stata abbinare questa blusa a stampa teiere con colletto decorato, adorabilmente kitsch, di Sheinside. Sicuramente non passa inosservata ed è un must have per le amanti di tè/caffè ! ;-P.

Today's outfit post is featuring a casual look with a sweatshirt, jeans and Converse sneakers, one of my fave looks for sunny days in this slow start of Spring !. In this "rock" inspired outfit I decided to wear my Marc by Marc Jacobs see thru bag I had told you about a while ago for the first time ;-).
