Denim and lace with a urban touch

This first outfit for the month of November is featuring a blouse I like so much: it's from Chicwish and it's very romantic and chic, a denim and lace mix, with its floral baroque, cutout embroidery on a denim fabric. I decided to go for "denim on denim" style wearing it with skinny jeans and to sport grey shoes and bag for a urban touch. My new Studs Hammer boots from Ruco Line were my best option: they are comfortable and trendy, perfect for walking on Autumn leaves and in narrow streets and also for a day of shopping and running errands in the city !.

Il primo outfit per il mese di Novembre mi vede indossare una blusa che mi piace particolarmente: è di Chicwish ed è molto romantica e chic, un mix di jeans e pizzo con i suoi ricami barocchi ad intaglio sulla stoffa in denim. Ho deciso di optare per il cosìddetto "denim on denim" con un paio di jeans skinny e di scegliere scarpe e borsa grigi, per dare al tutto un tocco più urban. Una gita fuori porta è stata l'occasione perfetta per sfoggiare i miei stivaletti Studs Hammer di Ruco Line, comodissimi e trendy, perfetti sia per camminare sulle foglie e tra i vicoletti che per una corsa tra i negozi in città !.

Sky blue dress, Ruco Line sneakers

Hello, everyone ! I hope you like this new layout of the blog, with larger images and a cleaner style.

It's time to show you the last outfit for the month of September, featuring a sporty chic look, with a sky blue Pinko dress and my new, colorful suede Ruco Line sneakers, from the  brand's new Fall/Winter 2014-2015 collection. This is a perfect look to enjoy this warm beginning of Fall with a good walk in my super comfortable new shoes, that are at the same time very stylish, also thanks to their internal wedge, and as you can see also very versatile, looking good also under a mini dress !.

As soon as I saw these suede sneakers, in a multicolored version of the famous Nicy design from Ruco Line, a great expression of the quality and innovation of this brand, I thought about wearing them with my red Givenchy Pandora bag and my beautiful Tuttomondo scarf from Tessitura Lancioni, dedicated to Keith Haring. I like this look because there are my favorite colors mixed together, and  the result is casual and feminine at the same time :-)

Siamo arrivati anche all'ultimo outfit per il mese di Settembre, con un look sporty chic composto da un abitino azzurro cielo di Pinko e le mie nuove, coloratissime sneakers in camoscio della nuova collezione Autunno/Inverno 2014-2015 Ruco Line. Un look perfetto per godere di questo inizio Autunno ancora caldo, con una bella camminata, calzando le mie comodissime e stilose scarpe nuove che, grazie alla loro zeppa interna, sono super versatili e stanno bene anche con un mini abito !. 

Non appena ho visto queste scarpe in camoscio, versione coloratissima dell'ormai collaudato modello Nicy di Ruco Line, grande espressione della qualità ed innovazione del brand, ho pensato di abbinarle alla mia Pandora Givenchy in rosso ed alla bellissima sciarpa Tuttomondo, dedicata a Keith Haring, di Tessitura Lancioni. Mi piace questo look perché composto dai miei colori preferiti ed il risultato è casual ma, al tempo stesso, femminile :-) 

Black leather, flowers and fuchsia

Hey, how are you all ? How did your weekend go ? Mine was pretty good, I went to the beach, finally. It is time to show you a new outfit, and these pics were taken some time ago in beautiful Nerano, in Sorrento coast, when the weather was still sort of crazy. I was so eager to wear a new flower print t-shirt, but it had been raining a lot and I opted for a colorful casual outfit featuring a leather biker jacket and my beloved Ruco Line ariel boots, mixed with touches of fuchsia, one of my favorite colors ever, thanks to my hat, Sodini bijoux necklace and Marc by Marc Jacobs bag. 

I spent a wonderful time, anyway, and I wanna keep that mood on my mind, hoping to pass it on to you, too !.

Ciao a tutti, come state ? Come è andato il vostro weekend ? Il mio è andato bene, sono stata al mare, finalmente. E' tempo di mostrarvi un nuovo outfit, con delle foto scattate qualche tempo addietro nella bellissima Nerano, sulla costiera Sorrentina, quando il meteo era ancora molto ballerino. Quel giorno ero ansiosa di sfoggiare una coloratissima t-shirt a fiori, ma aveva piovuto un sacco e non faceva tanto caldo, per cui avevo sperimentato questo look con giacca in pelle ed i miei adorati stivaletti Ruco Line modello Ariel, il tutto "condito" con sprazzi di fucsia, uno dei miei colori preferiti in assoluto, grazie al cappello, alla collana Sodini bijoux ed alla borsa Marc by Marc Jacobs. Mi sono divertita molto in quei giorni e voglio mantenere quel mood, sperando di trasmetterne un po' anche a voi con queste foto !.

Ruco Line Awesome floral sneakers

 

Last week I spent a few days of vacation, and as it always happens, I enjoyed walks and fun time dressed up in casual attire. I love casual outfits, and I have to say mine are never "too"casual, because I put the same care combining a pair of jeans and sweater and I like to focus on color combinations and, as always, about my accessories. 
This look screams Spring, with a very pink sweatshirt and my new pair of floral Ruco Line sneakers, awesome shoes that feel so light and comfortable at my feet and that are so extremely cute !.

La scorsa settimana ho avuto l'occasione di trascorrere qualche giorno di vacanza e, come spesso accade, mi sono goduta qualche bella passeggiata in outfit casual. Mi piacciono i look sportivi, e devo dire che i miei non sono mai "troppo" casuali, nel senso che metto la stessa cura di sempre anche nell'abbinare un paio di jeans ed una felpa e mi piace combinarne i colori e, cosa più importante, curare gli accessori. 

Questo outfit celebra una giornata di sole primaverile, divenuta ormai una rarità con questo meteo, con una felpa rosa ed il mio nuovo paio di sneakers floreali Ruco Line, scarpe fantasticamente comode e leggere per i miei piedi ed anche molto belle !.

Countryside chic

Finally, a sunny day, even if the air turned fresh again I can smell Spring and when a day like this occurs, I am likely to need a comfortable, relaxed outfit, to take things easy in a period of hectic work. An outfit like that always includes a pair of jeans, comfortable sneakers, a roomy bag and something fancy as top and jacket, to keep it comfy and chic: the perfect recipe for a day spent outside, especially if I, usually a seaside girl, make a change and spend it in the countryside !.

Finalmente un bel giorno di sole, anche se l'aria si è rinfrescata parecchio la Primavera è arrivata, e quando capita una giornata del genere, mi capita di aver bisogno di un look comodo e rilassato, per prendermela comoda. Un outfit del genere include sempre un paio di jeans, sneakers comode, una borsa capiente e qualcosa di particolare da indossare come top e come giacca, per mantenersi comode ma chic: è la ricetta che preferisco per godermi una giornata rilassante, specialmente se trascorsa, io che sono una "ragazza di mare", in aperta campagna !.

Two looks, new Ruco Line boots

You aren't seeing double today ! I have actually decided to double myself for this outfit, by changing one piece of clothing only, it's a thing I often do when I know I am going to spend the whole day out of home, and it happens more often in this transitional time of the year, when the air can be warmer in the middle of the day and then, suddendly, it can turn very fresh. 

Two looks with the same pair of boots: at my feet I had my brand new Ruco Line "Ariel" boots for Spring/Summer 2014, this is a model I already have in a "heavier" grey suede for winter, and I couldn't help wanting a pair for Springtime. They can be perfect everyday, really, and I am a great fan of them !.

Non state vedendo doppio oggi ! Ho deciso di "raddoppiarmi" per questo outfit, cambiando solo un capo d'abbigliamento, è una cosa che faccio spesso quando so che trascorrerò gran parte della giornata fuori casa e a maggior ragione in periodi di transizione, quando l'aria sembra essersi scaldata nel mezzo della giornata ma, all'improvviso, torna ad essere fredda.

Due look con lo stesso paio di scarpe: ai piedi avevo i miei nuovi stivaletti Ruco Line "Ariel" della collezione Primavera/Estate 2014, un modello che adoro e che avevo già in versione più pesante, in camoscio grigio, per l'inverno, non potevo evitare di volerne un paio primaverile, sono scarpe perfette per tutti i giorni  e io ne sono una grande fan !.

Leopard faux fur, satchel bag

It takes a certain attitude to wear a faux fur leopard coat. It's a very eye catching piece of clothing, and I think the best way to wear it is in a casual look, with a lot of self-irony. You could get a lot of looks, but hey, it's just a coat. Let them stare, leopards can be found also in the city, after all, lol.

I love mine and I have been wearing it quite often, considering it's not really the easiest coat to match. Winter is going to leave soon, at least we hope, so I didn't miss the chance to wear it once again, pairing it with jeans, my favorite cobalt blue sneakers from Ruco Line and I even dared adding another statement piece: my Ecua-Andino australian hat.

Ci vuole un certo carattere per portare un cappotto in ecopelliccia leopardata. Si tratta di un capo molto vistoso e credo il modo migliore di indossarlo sia in un contesto casual e con parecchia auto ironia. Potreste ricevere un sacco di occhiate, ma dopotutto è solo un cappotto ! Lasciate pure che vi guardino, i leopardi possono andare in giro anche in città, dopotutto, lol.
Io adoro il mio e l'ho portato abbastanza spesso, nonostante non sia facile da abbinare. L'inverno ci lascerà a momenti, si spera, per cui non ho voluto perdere l'occasione di indossare il mio pellicciotto leo ancora una volta, abbinato a jeans, alle mie sneakers preferite, le Ruco Line in blu cobalto, volendo esagerare aggiungendoci un altro pezzo importante: il mio cappello modello australiano Ecua-Andino.

Heart sweater for Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's day, everyone, from me, Valentina ;). This is a day to celebrate love in many ways, love for your partner, for your friends and family, your pets, for yourself, for life !. I am going to a romantic dinner with hubby later this evening, we make sure we show each other love with tiny gestures every day, so this is just another chance to spend a different evening together, plus...it's my name day !. How are you going to spend this day ?. 

Tonight is gonna be a night for fancy dressed and heels, but I decided to postpone an elegant outfit and to show you a layered, more casual outfit, featuring a Valentine's themed sweater, because what would this day be without a big, red heart ?.

Buon San Valentino a tutti da me, Valentina ;). Considero questa festa una celebrazione dell'amore, che sia per il partner, per gli amici e la famiglia, per i vostri animali domestici, per voi stessi, per la vita !. Stasera io e il maritino ci concederemo una cenetta romantica, ovviamente facciamo in modo di dimostrarci ciò che proviamo ogni giorno con piccoli gesti, è solo un'occasione per passare una serata diversa insieme, inoltre...oggi è anche il mio onomastico !. 

Voi come trascorrerete questa giornata ?. Questa sera sarà un tripudio di abitini eleganti e tacchi e io ho deciso di rimandare l'outfit elegante per mostrarvi un look più casual, "a strati" con maglione a tema San Valentino, perché dopotutto cosa sarebbe una festa così senza un grande e rosso cuore ?.

What to wear when it's cold

The question is very simple: what do you wear when it's really cold ?. It's not a secret to anyone that I suffer the cold weather, and I am not the kind of person that will go out with bare legs only to look cool or just grab a cardigan and that's all, I love to look cool but I hate feeling sick afterwards ! I need to have winter clothes. 

I already know a coat is the most elegant solution when it comes to outerwear, and I've been giving the spotlight to my coats, but I don't say no to my duvet jackets, especially when they are high quality pieces, just like this one I am wearing in these pics, it's from Moncler, one of my favorite brands when it comes to winter jackets.

Sure, we can feel chic in a duvet jacket...or, even better, we can feel chic and warm ! :-)

La domanda è semplicissima: cosa indossate quando fa davvero freddo ? Non è un segreto per nessuno che io soffro il freddo, non sono certo il tipo di persona che esce senza calze solo per sembrare più cool, o che aggiunge un cardigan e sente già caldo, ovviamente mi piace avere un bell'aspetto ma odio raffreddarmi ! Ho davvero bisogno di avere abiti invernali.

So bene che un cappotto rappresenta la soluzione più elegante quando si tratta di capi spalla, e sul blog ho dato spazio ai miei cappotti, ma non dico di no ai piumini, esclusivamente se di alta qualità, come questo che indosso in queste foto, di Moncler, uno dei miei brand preferiti quando si tratta di giacconi invernali.

Certo che possiamo sentirci chic in un piumino...o, ancora meglio, possiamo sentirci chic e calde ! :-)

Kenzo flying tiger and Ruco Line

The weekend is getting closer, and in my spare time, especially in this pre-Christmas time, I need to go out in a casual attire, to shop fastly, being strong and ready...just like a tiger ! Gift hunting and my need to run my errands are a good excuse to sport another easy yet sophisticated look, featuring a Kenzo flying tiger print wool sweater, skinny jeans and my wonderful Ruco Line grey studded boots. A perfect look to go out feeling both stylish and comfortable...and to ROAR a little bit !.

Il weekend si sta avvicinando e, nel mio tempo libero, specialmente in questo periodo pre-natalizio, apprezzo particolarmente i look casual, per fare shopping in velocità, forte e pronta come...una tigre ! La caccia ai regali e i mille impegni concentrati sono una ottima scusa per sfoggiare un altro look "easy" ma allo stesso tempo curato, con un maglione in lana a stampa tigri Kenzo, jeans skinny e i miei meravigliosi stivali grigi Ruco Line. Un outfit perfetto per uscire sentendosi sia alla moda che comode...e ruggire un po' !.

Cobalt blue Ruco Line sneakers

Lately I've been having so much fun with casual outfits, also because casual wear easily allows me to play with a lot of different clothes and accessories, just as I like it. Casual doesn't mean shabby, I think it just means freedom to express myself and to play with fashion without rules and formalities. Surely, sneakers have an important role in casual wear, and my new Ruco Line cobalt blue sneakers were the starting point for this blue centered look. Here we are with my quality, beautiful sneakers that are both pretty and very comfortable, produced by an italian brand I've been knowing for years and that I have always been a fan of.  

Ultimamente mi sto divertendo più del solito a vestirmi casual, anche perché look più sportivi mi permettono maggiormente di giocare con diversi capi ed accessori, proprio come piace a me. Casual non vuol dire affatto trasandatezza, per me vuol dire libertà di espressione e di giocare con la moda senza troppe regole e formalismi. Sicuramente, un ruolo importante in questo tipo di look lo giocano le sneakers, e proprio le mie nuove sneakers Ruco Line blu cobalto sono state il punto di partenza per questo outfit nei toni del blu. Eccovi dunque le mie sneakers di qualità, molto belle e anche molto comode, prodotte da un brand italiano che conosco da anni e che mi è sempre piaciuto.
