We skipped a season here, and among the clothing I haven't worn during Quarantine lockdown there is my trench coat. A must have in any closet, a beige trench is a classic staple many of you will surely have already. Well, this one, from Maje, has never been been worn, I just removed the price tag and decided to wear it on my balcony. I look a bit like a special detective here or either like one of those exhibitionists sexual maniacs...two sides of my personality! Joking :-)

Un must have in qualsiasi guardaroba, un trench beige è un capo classico che molte di voi avranno già. Questo, di Maje, non è mai stato indossato, ho solo rimosso il cartellino e ho deciso di indossarlo sul mio balcone. Mi fa sembrare un po' come un detective speciale o come uno di quei maniaci esibizionisti...e un po' la mia personalità li racchiude entrambi! Scherzo :-)

I wanted to wear something that would put my python ankle boots under the spotlight and culottes are a great choice, with their ankle length. Feminine and comfy, they can be a great choice especially if you are tired to wear jeans. Red and purple is one of my favorite combos so this look was easy to love for me.

After a romantic outfit, it's time to explore the other side of my personality. The vinyl trend is one of the big trends of 2020 and thanks to it vinyl leather is not only a fetish classic anymore but it can be worn in our everyday looks. It just takes a little bit of attitude to wear it, and I have to admit I enjoy this kind of looks very much! So, here I am, with this vinyl fringed miniskirt and matching jacket, in a total black outfit. Even my new Coccinelle bag is shiny black as well as my stiletto ankle boots. How to wear an open shoulder dress? This one featuring a butterfly print is the perfect party piece, but it's also a lovely daytime dress. When in Matera, I wore it with jeweled flip-flops and added a suede brown belt. The fabric is light and the dress is flowy, enriched with ruffles. Some of you might have spotted it already on Instagram and I have to say it was a real eye catcher.

Suede and warm, orangey colors are so typical of such a Seventies style look, and my Loriblu crossed mule heeled sandals have that nostalgic mood. Compta casual Smash! dress is in jersey fabric and features a statement print and a below the knee length. I am personally in love with 70s style and also with the music from that period and from time to time I enjoy wearing such a revival outfit, always tailored to my own personal taste, of course!

L'abito Compta Smash! è in tessuto jersey e presenta una stampa particolare e una lunghezza sotto al ginocchio. Personalmente adoro lo stile 70s così come la musica di quel periodo e ogni tanto mi diverto a comporre un outfit revival, sempre modellato sul mio gusto personale, ovviamente!

A vintage style outfit, playing with colors I love, featuring some beautiful Made in Italy fashion items: a wool striped long dress from Rosè a Pois, in this beautiful raspberry and blueberry color, that is already a statement piece. I decided to add some dark green with a faux fur stole and my Prada boston bag. To emphasize the vintage feel, I chose these handmade leather ankle boots with pink profiles, made in Marche region from an artisan. When beauty meets quality, I couldn't be happier, and there are many italian brands that really deserve to be under a spotlight and that I am happy to show you on my fashion blog, just because I like them.

Fall colors for my new outfit: rust, brown, aubergine, burgundy, are typical warm, rich and cozy colors of Fall season, we don't have to be a fashion blogger or to read the Pantone Fall 2015 Fashion Color report to know that. I personally love them, and you see me with this rust dress from Mismash, one of the lines of spanish brand Smash!, with a delicate print and a belt, it's a perfect Fall dress, to wear with a cozy cardigan or a jacket. When we took these pics the air was still warm enough to wear it with a denim blazer. I added my new Prada tote in an aubergine color, it's roomy and a perfect Fall bag for everyday, and studded heels from Cesare Paciotti. Incorporating Fall colors in our closet is a fun thing to do, and as you can see I have started already !.

Colori autunnali per il mio nuovo outfit: ruggine, marrone, melanzana, bordeaux sono i tipici colori caldi, ricchi e confortevoli della stagione autunnale, non abbiamo bisogno di essere fashion blogger o di leggere il report colori autunnali fashion 2015 di Pantone per saperlo. Personalmente li adoro, e mi vedete proprio con un abito ruggine di Mismash, una delle linee di abbigliamento del brand spagnolo Smash! con una stampa delicata e cintura in vita, è un perfetto abito autunnale, da portare con un cardigan o una giacca. Quando abbiamo scattato queste foto l'aria era ancora abbastanza calda da poter uscire con un blazer in jeans. Ho aggiunto la mia nuova tote Prada in color melanzana, spaziosa ed una perfetta borsa autunnale per tutti i giorni, insieme ad un paio di scarpe borchiate Cesare Paciotti col tacco. Incorporare i colori autunnali nel guardaroba è divertente, e come vedete io ho già iniziato a farlo !.

This has to be the most colorful and eccentric outfit your very own fashion blogger wore this summer, I was on the Amalfi Coast, during my holiday in Nerano. I thought it would be the perfect place to sport my chiffon maxi dress with a v neck, and I opted for a summer boho style with this slightly gipsy look, wearing rose espadrilles, the same color of my hat, and lots of jewelry.

A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous, so said Coco Chanel. I think a midi dress is a classy choice when it comes to dressing up for a romantic dinner date, and I couldn't wait to wear this green retro floral high waist sleeveless dress found on one of my favorite webshops, Choies. As for the "being fabulous" part, readers of my fashion blog know I feel fabulous when I have the right accessories, just like my new Prada Voice sunglasses found on Giarre.com, my most trusted sunglasses and eyeglasses shop. I had these jeweled sunglasses in my wishlist for quite a long time, and now they are finally mine !. A special dinner required also special shoes, just like my ankle strap sandals from Le Silla, in a neutral taupe, both classic and modern just like my Givenchy Antigona bag.

Io penso che un abito midi sia una scelta di classe per un appuntamento romantico a cena, e non vedevo l'ora di indossare questo abito verde retro a vita alta e senza maniche trovato su uno dei miei negozi online preferiti, Choies. Per quanto riguarda la parte del "favolosa", i lettori del mio fashion blog sanno che mi ci sento con accessori giusti, come i miei nuovi occhiali da sole Prada Voice trovati su Giarre.com, il mio negozio di occhiali da sole e da vista di fiducia. Avevo questi particolari occhiali da sole gioiello in wishlist da tempo e sono finalmente miei !. Una cena speciale richiedeva anche scarpe speciali, e io ho optato per sandali con cinturino alla caviglia Le Silla, in un neutro color tortora, sia classici che moderni proprio come la borsa Givenchy Antigona.

Outfit: the Culottes trend

Culottes are the new must have pants for this Summer, did you know it ? I bet you did ! In this new outfit post I am wearing my ethnic print culottes, I decided to wear them for a lunch with hubby in a little town nearby. A trendy and comfortable look for a few hours spent pretending to be a tourist on holiday, forgetting the Office and enjoying a meal on a terrace facing the sea, featuring a white t-shirt, wedges at my feet and my good old red Prada bag.

In questo nuovo post outfit ne indosso un paio con stampa etnica che ho deciso di inaugurare per un pranzetto fuori con il maritino, in un paesino nei dintorni. Un look comodo e trendy per trascorrere qualche ora fingendosi turisti in vacanza, dimenticando l'ufficio e godendosi un pasto su una terrazza con vista mozzafiato sul mare, incentrato su una t-shirt bianca, zeppe ai piedi e la mia cara vecchia borsa Prada rossa.

Eco shearling jacket, blue beanie

I love to wear colors, especially to bright up a cold, gloomy day. In this new outfit post, we have two of my favorite colors ever, red and cobalt blue, in a layered look featuring my eco shearling jacket, a midi skirt and a beanie.

I had been looking for the right blue benie for quite a long time, I finally found it and it was even on sale ! I couldn't be happier and, as ever, I couldn't wait to sport my new purchase...I am not famous for being a very patient ;)

Amo indossare colori, specialmente per illuminare una fredda e grigia giornata invernale. In questo nuovo post outfit, abbiamo due dei miei colori preferiti in assoluto: il rosso e il blu cobalto, in un look "a strati" che ha come protagonisti una giacca in shearling ecologico, una gonna midi ed un beanie.

Cercavo da tempo un bel beanie blue elettrico, e l'ho finalmente trovato, oltretutto in saldo ! Non potevo che esserne più contenta e, come mi capita ogni volta, non vedevo l'ora di sfoggiarlo, non essendo io di certo famosa per la proverbiale pazienza, anzi ;).

As most of you will remember, I am a tartan addicted and this year, since checked prints took over Fall/Winter fashion, I have been able to wear so many plaid printed pieces of clothing, creating so many different outfits, including this one. I can't really define this look, all I know is that it represents me, and it's enough. It's based on blue and green tartans, maybe the easiest kind of plaid that also the less tartan enthusiastic people can bear a little bit more.  A special guest star in this post is my tartan flat cap, with it it was love at first sight !.

Come la maggior parte di voi ricorderà, sono leggermente ossessionata dal tartan e quest'anno, dato che le stampe scozzesi imperversano nella moda Autunno/Inverno, sono stata fino ad ora in grado di indossare tanti capi a quadri, creando molti look diversi, compreso questo. Non riesco a definire questo strano outfit prodotto dalla mia mente, so solo che mi rappresenta, ed è abbastanza ;). E' basato su fantasie scozzesi nei toni del verde e del blu, forse l'abbinata più facile tra i vari tartan, meglio sopportata anche da chi del plaid non ne vuole proprio sapere. L'elemento speciale del post è la mia coppola a quadri, con lei è stato amore a prima vista !.

I already told you that I got carried away with the stripes trend this year, and I have got many striped clothes in my closet. Well, let me introduce you to my striped coat, it was love at first sight and I had to buy it !. I paired it with a red lips print shirt from Sheinside, and with my new white pumps with perspex heels. 

Vi avevo già raccontato di come mi fossi lasciata prendere un po' troppo la mano con il trend delle righe quest'anno, e di come il mio armadio sia ben fornito di capi rigati. Beh, è il momento di presentarvi il mio cappottino a righe, è stato amore a prima vista ! L'ho abbinato ad una camicia con stampa di labbra rosse, di Sheinside, ad alle mie nuove pumps bianche con il tacco in plexiglass.

Asian inspired outfit and Taara Jewelry

Most of the times I take inspiration for my outfits starting from accessories, because accessories are really essential in my world. This time, I got inspired by this Taara Jewelry necklace for this outfit - the shape and green color, with a clear asian vibe, suggested me to go for an asian inspired look, after all a strong asian wind has been blowing stronger than ever on the catwalks (just look at Prada !) and made it as one of the leading trends for Spring/Summer 2013. Here's my very own  and very GREEN version !.

La maggior parte delle volte prendo ispirazione per i miei outfit partendo dagli accessori, perché rappresentano spesso non un completamento, ma l'elemento fondamentale per me. Stavolta, sono stata ispirata da questa collana di Taara Jewelry per questo outfit - la forma del ciondolo e il colore mi hanno ricordato il lontano oriente e mi hanno suggerito di optare per un look di ispirazione asiatica, proprio quando il vento orientale ha soffiato più forte che mai sulle passerelle (basti pensare a Prada !) rivelandosi uno dei trend di punta per la Primavera/Estate 2013. Ecco la mia personalissima e VERDISSIMA versione !.

How did your Easter holidays go ? Mine went pretty well, in spite of the pretty cold weather. It seems Spring hasn't sprung yet ! Time for middle season outfits, with still quite warm keeping clothes and a touch of new ;).  It's the case with this ethnic print blazer from Maison Scotch, with a touch of neon, to give a bit of light to this transitional look !. After all, there is still a lot of time to sport sandals and summer clothes, so let's enjoy what we have now !.

Come sono andate le vostre vacanze di Pasqua ? Le mie sono andate abbastanza bene, nonostante il tempo non proprio primaverile ! Tempo adatto ad outfit da "mezza stagione", con abiti  non propriamente leggeri ma allo stesso tempo con un tocco di novità. E' il caso di questo blazer in felpa di Maison Scotch, a stampa tribale con un tocco di neon. L'ho usato per dare colore ad un look "di transizione". Dopotutto c'è ancora un bel po' di tempo per sfoggiare sandali e abiti estivi, per cui è meglio godersi ciò che si ha adesso !.

Today's outfit post is featuring a casual look with a sweatshirt, jeans and Converse sneakers, one of my fave looks for sunny days in this slow start of Spring !. In this "rock" inspired outfit I decided to wear my Marc by Marc Jacobs see thru bag I had told you about a while ago for the first time ;-).

Are you getting ready for Valentine's day ? Are you going to celebrate it tomorrow ? I do think that love should be celebrated everyday, but I am gonna celebrate it with my lovely hubby going on a dinner after a long day of work, I have more than one reason...I am happily in love and my name is Valentina ;)...I think I should get two presents for this reason, right ? Ahah :D. I am not going to post about presents suggestions for tomorrow, I have already sent my personal suggestions around as a subliminal messages to my love...ahahah. Instead, I have decided to post pics of a simple outfit with a sweater I like so much, it's from Love Moschino and it features a girl in cat eye glasses, same shape I use to read in my everyday life. Isn't it cute ?.

Siete pronti per San Valentino ? Lo festeggerete domani ? Io credo che l'amore vada celebrato ogni giorno dell'anno, ma festeggerò San Valentino con il mio adorabile maritino dopo quella che sarà una lunga giornata di lavoro...ho due motivi per farlo: sono felicemente innamorata e mi chiamo Valentina ;)...pertanto, credo proprio che dovrei ricevere due regali per questo motivo, giusto ? Ahaha :D. Non posterò idee regalo per domani, ho già mandato messaggi subliminali al mio amore in proposito, so essere diabolica, ahaha ;) Invece, ho deciso di mostrarvi un outfit semplice con un maglione che mi piace molto, di Love Moschino, raffigurante una ragazza con occhiali "da gatta", quasi identici a quelli che uso io nella vita di tutti i giorni. Non è carino ?.

I have decided to style the sweater with simple jeans and my Guess by Marciano ankle boots, same collection of my wedged pumps you had already seen. See them better in the pic below !. As a bag, I opted for my green Prada bag.

Ho deciso di abbinare al maglione un semplice paio di jeans e i miei tronchetti con zeppa di Guess by Marciano, della stessa collezione delle deco che vi avevo già fatto vedere. Potete vederne meglio i dettagli nella foto sottostante. Come borsa, ho optato per la borsa di Prada verde.

I added a touch of red nail polish, as always, just a few minutes before going out...do you also do that ?. I am often in a hurry for everything...to be sincere, also now I am a hurry to go to the hairdresser, LOL !.
I wish you all a good Valentine's day for tomorrow, and if you aren't in a couple, never forget you can still be in love with yourself, so this means you can still pamper yourself and remember that being on our own is surely better than be with the wrong person, and that we have to enjoy our days at the best we can :-).

Ho optato per uno smalto rosso classico, applicandolo, come spesso mi accade, solo pochi minuti prima di uscire...capita anche a voi ?. Vado spesso di fretta per tutto...sinceramente, anche adesso sarei di fretta perché devo andare dalla parrucchiera ;-).
Vi auguro un buon San Valentino per domani e anche se non siete in coppia, ricordate che potete sempre essere innamorati di...voi stessi, ovvero potete coccolarvi come meglio preferite e ricordare che starsene per conto proprio in alcuni momenti è sicuramente meglio che stare con la persona sbagliata, bisogna trarre il meglio da tutte le situazioni :-).

Trendy and warm: my Parka jacket !

Some of you will surely remember my green Christmas wishlist.
Well, I am happy because I succeeded in having a few green items I really wanted, especially the trendiest winter coat of the moment: a Parka jacket !.
I've been obsessing over getting a warm Parka, an iconic jacket that would be stylish and comfortable at the same time, and finally I found it. What do you think about it ?.
This jacket is from a brand called Campo V and their Parka is called Sherpa 1953, it's been inspired by the great accomplishment happened on May 29th, 1953, when Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay reached the summit of Mount Everest, 29.028 feet above sea level, the highest spot on earth !.

Beh, sono felice perché sono riuscita a fare miei alcuni articoli "verdi" che volevo molto, specialmente il giaccone invernale più trendy del momento: il Parka !.
Continuavo a pensarci, dovevo assolutamente trovare un Parka che fosse caldo, stiloso e confortevole allo stesso tempo e l'ho finalmente trovato. Che ne pensate ?.

Another new entry in green is the bag you see, a green leather Prada duffle, a very special present I got that I love so much !. You can see it better in the pic below.
I matched the bag with brown Arfango ankle boots that have been waiting in my shoe closet for a long time.
This time I opted for a casual look, but I've seen the trend is wearing the Parka also with more elegant outfits, I am gonna try this for sure !.

Un'altra new entry in verde è la borsa che vedete, un bauletto in pelle martellata, un regalo speciale che mi piace tantissimo !. Potete vederla meglio nella foto sottostante.
Ho abbinato la borsa a stivaletti marroni di Arfango che attendevano di uscire con me da un bel po' di tempo.
Per questa volta ho scelto un abbinamento casual ma il trend del momento è abbinare il Parka anche ad indumenti più eleganti, proverò senz'altro anche questa versione !.

The sweater I am wearing underneath my Parka is from Northland and has loads of colors, as well as being pretty warm.
The Missoni scarf is quite an old purchase. Since I have my walk in closet I find things much more easily and I am so pleased with that !.

Il maglione che indossavo sotto al Parka è di Northland ed ha tanti colori vivaci oltre ad essere piuttosto caldo.
La sciarpa di Missoni è un acquisto abbastanza datato, l'ho ritrovata facilmente grazie alla cabina armadio, da quando l'ho organizzata trovare le cose è molto più facile e ne sono felice !.

When the air got more fresh, I was ready to wear a burgundy beanie. I have to confess I always have a beanie inside my bag when it's winter. I like to feel warm and also to get ready when the weather is humid !.
This bonnet is from Scotch and Soda, same brand as Maison Scotch and I have decided to buy it for myself even tho I found it under the male side, cause beanie hats are just a unisex item !.
Dressed this way I feel ready to live an adventure, not on Mount Everest but in a few shops, for sales hunting ! I think it requires strenght and courage, anyway, don't you ? :-P.

Quando l'aria si è fatta più fresca, ecco comparire un cappellino a cuffia bordeaux. Confesso di avere sempre un cappellino di questo genere in borsa, in inverno. Sono freddolosa e inoltre mi piace essere pronta ad ogni evenienza, incluso il tempo umido !.
Questo cappellino è di Scotch & Soda, stesso brand di Maison Scotch, e ho deciso di prenderlo per me sebbene trovato nel reparto uomo perché questo tipo di cappelli sono decisamente unisex !.
Vestita così mi sento pronta per un'avventura, non sul Monte Everest ma nei negozi per un po' di caccia ai saldi ! Credo che sia un'impresa che richieda forza e coraggio comunque, non credete anche voi ? ;-P.

Christmas wishes and deer sweater !

Dear readers and followers of this blog, first of all let me wish you all a very Merry Christmas ! I wish I could message each and one of you to wish you all the best, so I am taking advantage of a blog post to do it. I wish you a Christmas of happiness, joy and hope !.
Today has been a pretty sunny day here and in the early afternoon I went out to complete some last minute shopping wearing this warm and cozy outfit. I was wearing a deer print sweater I got from Sheinside, it's the classical winter sweater with a modern twist that was so much fun to wear and put me in a Christmas mood !.

Cari lettori e follower di questo blog, vorrei innanzitutto augurarvi Buon Natale ! Vorrei poter inviare un messaggio ad ognuno di voi per farvi i miei auguri, così approfitto di un post per farlo. Vi auguro un Natale di felicità, gioia e speranza !.
Oggi è stata una giornata soleggiata e nel primo pomeriggio sono uscita a completare alcuni acquisti dell'ultimo minuto indossando questo outfit comodo e caldo. Ho sfoggiato il maglione con gli alci preso da Sheinside, il classico maglione invernale rivisitato in chiave più moderna, un capo molto simpatico che mi ha messa dell'umore giusto per Natale !.

I have decided to pair my oversize sweater with some skinny jeans from Cheap Monday and my latest boots purchase, a pair of suede Miu Miu boots ! They are so comfy and the burgundy color is beautiful. You can see the boots better in the pic below !.
I have to confess I bought them whilst looking for Christmas presents...in these past days everytime I went out for Christmas shopping I ended up coming back home also with purchases for myself, how bad am I ? :-).

Ho deciso di abbinare al mio maglione oversize dei jeans skinny di Cheap Monday e ho indossato il mio ultimo acquisto, un paio di stivali in suede di Miu Miu di un bel colore bordeaux, comodissimi. Potete guardarli meglio nella foto sottostante !.
Confesso di averli comprati mentre cercavo dei regali di Natale...in questi giorni ogni volta che sono uscita per gli acquisti di Natale sono tornata a casa anche con acquisti per me stessa, sono incorreggibile :-P.

A hat, a scarf and a pair of gloves are not just something I need when it's cold outside, but accessories I love to wear ! I decided to wear my Gucci grey maxi scarf and as a hat I went for a no brand black wool beret. I added some color with burgundy gloves and my beloved Prada tote. I think this outfit is perfect for Christmas Eve with family and friends, what do you think ?. I think with this outfit I would also make a good Santa helper, LOL !.

Un cappello, la sciarpa e un paio di guanti non sono solo necessari per il freddo, sono anche accessori che amo indossare ! Ho scelto di abbinare la maxi sciarpa grigia di Gucci e come cappello ho optato per un basco nero in lana, no brand. Ho aggiunto colore con i guanti in lana burgundy e la mia adorata borsa color ciliegia di Prada. Credo questo sia un outfit perfetto per una vigilia di Natale con amici e parenti, che ne pensate ?. Io credo anche che, vestita così, potrei essere una ottima aiutante per Babbo Natale !.

Of course, I was also wearing a jacket, you can see my Moncler duvet jacket above, even tho I have to confess I was warm enough even without it !. If you like my sweater my advice is to take a look at Sheinside because they have plenty of cozy sweaters and the shipment was really quick and safe.
