How to wear ribbed velvet trousers? They sure made a huge comeback and you can find them in different lengths and shape. Mine are ankle length and in a vivid color; I prefer them to be a bit short and culotte-like because I think they are easier to match with sneakers. I wore my glittery Giancarlo Paoli sneakers from Fall-Winter 2018-19 collection and added a sweatshirt in the most glamorous color this season, purple. A simple crossbody bag with a leopard pony skin insert completed my daytime outfit.

I miei sono alla caviglia e in colore vivace; li preferisco un po' corti e stile culotte perché credo stiano meglio con le sneakers. Li ho indossati con sneakers glitterate della nuova collezione Autunno-Inverno 2018-2019 Giancarlo Paoli e ho aggiunto una felpa nel colore più glam dell'anno, il viole. Una semplice borsina a tracolla con inserto in cavallino ha completato il mio outfit da giorno.

How do you deal with cold weather ? Some people think having a fashion blog means going out in a t-shirt and naked legs even with a freezing wind, but this doesn't work for me. I spend winter dressed in layers and I absolutely have to repair my head and neck from the wind, the cold and the humidity. Yes, because I am a chilly  fashion blogger, and when I go out I need to keep warm and cozy. I found the perfect cozy and trendy accessories on Bullish website, because Bullish is the perfect brand for a demanding customer, in need of accessories made of high quality yarns and with the best style. Bullish produces awesome Made in Italy beanies, neck warmers and scarves. One of the most popular and successful items from this brand is the Gorro, a neck warmer that can be worn at the neck but also as a beanie, in many other ways, because it isn't closed as a traditional cap, it's open on both sides. In these pics I am showing you a double use of the wonderful, warm and soft Gorro: I am wearing one at my neck, that quickly turned my Dresscode sweatshirt into a turtleneck one, and a black one, with the Bullish logo made with swarovski elements, on my head, as a hat. The weather might be chilly...but wearing my Gorro I feel cool !.

Come riuscite ad affrontare il freddo ? Alcuni pensano che avere un fashion blog implichi uscire sempre in t-shirt o senza calze, con qualsiasi temperatura, ma non è certo il mio caso. Io trascorro l'inverno vestita a strati e devo assolutamente coprire testa e collo per ripararli dal vento, dal freddo e dall'umidità tipici di questa stagione. Sono, per mia ammissione, una fashion blogger che teme il freddo e quando esce deve tenersi al calduccio. Ho trovato gli accessori perfetti sul sito Bullish, che è un brand perfetto per chi, come me, è estremamente esigente e cerca accessori che uniscano al grande stile filati di alta qualità. Bullish produce bellissimi cappellini, scaldacollo e pashmine, tutti rigorosamente Made in Italy. Uno degli accessori più di successo di questo brand è il Gorro, uno scaldacollo che può essere indossato sia al collo, più comodo di una sciarpa, ma anche come beanie se indossato sulla testa, ed in modi diversi, perché non è chiuso alle estremità ma è aperto da entrambi i lati. In queste foto vi mostro proprio il doppio utilizzo di questi soffici, caldissimi e comodi Gorro: ne indosso uno al collo, tramutando la mia felpa di Dresscode in una maglia a collo alto, ed uno nero, con il logo Bullish fatto di piccolo swarovski, come cappellino. Il tempo sarà anche gelido...ma con indosso il mio Gorro mi sento cool !.

As most of you will remember, I am a tartan addicted and this year, since checked prints took over Fall/Winter fashion, I have been able to wear so many plaid printed pieces of clothing, creating so many different outfits, including this one. I can't really define this look, all I know is that it represents me, and it's enough. It's based on blue and green tartans, maybe the easiest kind of plaid that also the less tartan enthusiastic people can bear a little bit more.  A special guest star in this post is my tartan flat cap, with it it was love at first sight !.

Come la maggior parte di voi ricorderà, sono leggermente ossessionata dal tartan e quest'anno, dato che le stampe scozzesi imperversano nella moda Autunno/Inverno, sono stata fino ad ora in grado di indossare tanti capi a quadri, creando molti look diversi, compreso questo. Non riesco a definire questo strano outfit prodotto dalla mia mente, so solo che mi rappresenta, ed è abbastanza ;). E' basato su fantasie scozzesi nei toni del verde e del blu, forse l'abbinata più facile tra i vari tartan, meglio sopportata anche da chi del plaid non ne vuole proprio sapere. L'elemento speciale del post è la mia coppola a quadri, con lei è stato amore a prima vista !.

Let them stare

Hello there, and happy Halloween !. There are times when the sky is too grey and the hours seems as dull as the wall of the office, where I spend most of my time surrounded by papers, dreaming big and having the need of not living a life too ordinary. Later, I go out and I cheer myself up wearing something that is not ordinary, and what if people look at me, only because I stand out from the crowd ?. My mantra is "Let them stare !".

So, when I got contacted by the lovely Anastasia Gelfman Silis, young, independent and very talented designer of her own clothing brand, Let them stare, to wear one of her garments, I accepted with joy. Here I am then, proudly wearing a Let them stare bow skirt, turning a normal afternoon into a special one thanks to this unique piece !.

Ciao a tutti e buon Halloween !. Ci sono giornate in cui il cielo è troppo grigio e le ore sembrano una uguale all'altra, senza colore come le mura dell'ufficio dove trascorro buona parte del mio tempo, circondata da carte, con tanti sogni e la necessità di non vivere una vita troppo ordinaria. Dopo, esco e mi consolo indossando qualcosa di assolutamente fuori dal comune, e che importa se qualcuno mi fissa solo perché ciò che porto non si uniforma alla massa ?. Il mio mantra è "lasciamoli guardare !".

Così, quando sono stata contattata dalla adorabile Anastasia Gelfman Silis, giovane stilista indipendente e molto talentuosa, il cui brand si chiama proprio Let them stare, per indossare una delle sue creazioni, ho accettato con gioia. Eccomi, dunque, con indosso una gonna con fiocco creata da lei per la sua etichetta Let them stare, in un pomeriggio diventato speciale grazie a questo pezzo così unico !.

My dress code is Boho !

Give me a floral maxi skirt and new wedges and I am immediately in a boho mood !. Anyway, let's go slowly. It all started with a new tee, sent to me by the italian fashion brand Dress Code. I was gladly asked to try out one of their items and I went for this female t-shirt with "Don't you really know Anna ?" writing and print on the front. It's a clear hint to Anna Wintour, famous editor-in-chief of American Vogue and also one of the most important figures of fashion world. I was positively impressed by the quality of the tee shirt, that arrived to me super quickly. I am wearing a size S, I have to say this tee fits me perfectly. I decided to wear it tucked into the skirt because it's a maxi but I'll wear it outside with jeans, the lenght is perfect !.

Datemi una maxi skirt a fiori e nuove zeppe e vado immediatamente in mood boho !. Comunque, non corriamo troppo. E' iniziato tutto con una nuova tee, inviatami dal brand italiano di abbigliamento fashion Dress Code. Mi è stato chiesto di provare un loro articolo e ho scelto questa t-shirt dalla scritta "Don't you really know Anna ?". Una non certo velata allusione ad Anna Wintour, famosa capo editor dell'edizione americana di Vogue e una delle più importanti personalità nel mondo della moda. La mia impressione è stata molto positiva, sia per quanto riguarda la qualità della tee che per la professionalità circa l'invio veloce e sicuro. In queste foto indosso una taglia S, devo dire che ha una vestibilità ottima. Ho deciso di indossarla mettendola dentro la gonna per evidenziare il punto vita con la maxi skirt ma la porterò fuori con i jeans, è di una lunghezza perfetta !.

Casual outfit: Hunter boots, Longchamp bag

Before leaving for my Easter holidays, I gave a look at the weather forecast for those days, and it said cold and rain. Since when life gives us lemons, we're supposed to make a lemonade with them, I thought it would be a good chance to wear my Hunter boots, so I quickly packed them !.

I was all ready for a storm in this casual outfit, on a small stony beach, but even though the sky was cloudy, there was a pleasant light and it didn't rain until late afternoon. The place is very peaceful,  only a few people around, not a very touristic hangout, especially in that time of the year and with that weather, and we took these pics right before having one of the tasties lunches of my life at famous Restaurant "Lo Scoglio" in Nerano. 

Prima di partire per le vacanze di Pasqua, consultando le previsioni metereologiche, ho letto che oltre a fare freddo, avrebbe anche piovuto. Siccome dovremmo cercare di trovare il lato positivo in tutto, ho pensato fosse una buona occasione per portare con me i miei Hunter boots, e così li ho messi velocemente tra i bagagli !.
Ero preparata ad un temporale, mentre camminavo sulla spiaggia di sassi, ma c'era una piacevole luce e la pioggia ha atteso per cadere fino al tardo pomeriggio. Il luogo era veramente pacifico e incantevole, solo poche persone in giro, non troppo turistico, specialmente in quel periodo dell'anno e con quel tempo, e abbiamo scattato queste foto prima di pranzare al famoso ristorante "Lo Scoglio" a Nerano.

This season I've been drooling over Prada and Miu Miu fall collections, with a special mention for the fantasy printed coats and suits. Well, this graphic printed coat is a much cheaper alternative that I was happy to welcome into my wardrobe !. It has three quarter sleeves and an oversize shape, and I thought it would be perfect with a casual outfit made with jeans and a fun sweater !.

Questa stagione mi ha vista sbavare sulle collezioni autunnali di Prada e Miu Miu, con menzione speciale per i cappotti e completi a fantasia. Questo cappotto a stampa grafica è un'alternativa sicuramente più economica che sono stata ben felice di accogliere nel mio guardaroba !. Ha le maniche a tre quarti ed una forma oversize, che ho pensato adatta ad un look casual con jeans e un maglione stampato !.

I have decided to wear this coat with my Loriblu ankle boots, they have high heels and a delicate python print. I also added a lovely bag that caught my attention a while ago: it's part in demin and it features the skyline of a city and I think it's very cute ! It makes me think of New York.
Surely I am also influenced by my love for New York that you must have noticed in my flat !. Only after my purchase I found out, about this bag, that Stussy has teamed up with Love+Made (an all-female creative collective) for a limited-edition collection called "Heartbeat City" that has an 80s vibe. I have this habit of looking up for the things I bought on the internet, do you have it as well ?.

Ho deciso di indossare questo cappotto con stivaletti di Loriblu dal tacco alto e dalla delicata stampa pitonata. Ho aggiunto una borsetta deliziosa che ha catturato la mia attenzione tempo fa: è in parte di jeans e raffigura la skyline di una città che mi piace pensare come New York, non è carinissima ?.
Sicuramente sono molto di parte a causa della mia ossessione per New York che avete potuto notare anche nel mio appartamento !. Solo dopo il mio acquisto ho scoperto, a proposito della borsa, che Stussy ha collaborato con un collettivo di creative tutto al femminile per una edizione limitata chiamata "Heartbeat City" dal sapore anni '80. Ho questa abitudine di cercare le cose che ho comprato su internet, lo fate anche voi ?.

The sweater I am wearing underneath was one of my purchases at Asos, it's very warm and comfy ! It's from River Island and it has "girl" written on it as well as roses design across the chest. I surely I am gonna wear it also with skirts !.

Il maglione che indosso sotto al cappotto è stato un acquisto da Asos, è molto caldo e comodo ! E' di River Island e ha la scritta "girl" oltre ad un motivo a rose. Lo indosserò sicuramente anche con le gonne !.

In the pic above, here's my Tiffany Infinity bracelet that it's one of my most treasured Tiffany items. I love it and I think if I didn't have it already, it would surely be in my Christmas wishlist ! Well, wait...there is also an Infinity necklace, after all ! ;).
In these pics I am wearing a limited edition lipstick from Estée Lauder, it's violet crush from the Violet Underground collection. This collection is one of my fave make up collections ever ! I got the palette and also both the limited edition lipsticks, they are both very bold and have a matte finish.
Now I am off, trying to buy some Christmas presents...as always, I am gonna need to go shopping until the very last day !.

In queste foto porto il rossetto in edizione limitata di Estée Lauder, si chiama violet crush dalla collezione Violet Underground, una delle mie preferite di sempre ! Ho sia la palette di ombretti che entrambi i rossetti in edizione limitata, entrambi molto forti e con un finish mat.
Ora vado a cercare di comprare qualche regalo di Natale...come sempre, avrò bisogno di fare shopping fino all'ultimo giorno !.

Boyish look in Sorrento

I am spending a few days in Sorrento for the Easter holidays, the place where I got married about nine months ago. Everytime I come here, I feel at home (in spite of the internet coverage issues I am experiencing outside the hotel !).
The landscape is breathtaking, the food is excellent, usually the weather is fine. Well, I said usually...it's been raining all day long and I am so annoyed by that, so I am stuck in my hotel room and I thought about showing you yesterday's outfit, when weather still was pretty good !.
I have finally used my new studded loafers bought from Carla G. and went for a boyish look wearing new skinny jeans from Kocca, leather jacket from Elisabetta Franchi Celyn b., a check shirt from Pull & Bear, Moschino belt and beloved Balenciaga City bag. The sleeveless hoodie is from Imperial. Not my usual look but I could say I was happy with the result...happy and extremely comfy !. I also think a bit of a "boyish look" can turn up being extremely feminine, what do you think about it ?.

Sto trascorrendo qualche giorno a Sorrento per le vacanze Pasquali, il luogo in cui mi sono sposata un po' più di nove mesi fa. Ogni volta che vengo qui, mi sento a casa (anche se ho problemi a trovare copertura internet fuori dall'hotel !).
Il paesaggio è da lasciare senza fiato, il cibo eccellente, di solito il tempo è mite. Beh, ho detto di solito...sta piovendo da ore e ne sono infastidita, così, bloccata nella mia camera di hotel ho pensato di mostrarvi subito il mio outfit di ieri, quando il tempo era ancora buono !.
Ho calzato finalmente i miei mocassini borchiati comprati da Carla G. e optato per un look un po' maschile indossando nuovi jeans skinny di Kocca, chiodo in pelle di Elisabetta Franchi Celyn b., una camicia a quadri di Pull&Bear, cintura Moschino con la mia adorata borsa Balenciaga modello City.
La felpa smanicata e con cappuccio è di Imperial. Non il mio tipico look ma devo dire che sono stata felice del risultato...felice e anche molto comoda !. Trovo inoltre che un look un po' "da ragazzo" possa risultare estremamente femminile, voi che ne pensate ?.

Where the Sky meets the Sea

Hello everybody ! This time I have decided to start my post in english, for a change, and then to write in italian ! :) This outfit is still from my mini holiday in Sorrento, pics were taken last friday afternoon, I had taken a walk on the promenade and the landscape was so breathtaking ! Then I went back to the hotel terrace, there was a super cool pool on the roof and the view was spectacular, amazing view of the sky and the sea and also other roof tops, including a couple of wonderful Churches ! I've stayed there and admired the sunset ! After the walk I changed my shoes to a very high pair of wedges, I love them...and I also tried on my brand new sunglasses bought there in Sorrento, I've become obsessed with the cat eye shape !. I have to say wedges are much comfier than normal high heeled stiletto shoes, usually, but those are really sky high and when I was walking on a small street with very irregular pavement I was worried I'd twist my ankle, LOL ! . Before publishing this post I wanted to thank my followers, it's great to get to know you all, the more I browse through many blogs the more I realize there are so many new inspirations and amazing people with great style and a fun and positive attitude ! Kisses !.

Ciao a tutti ! Stavolta ho deciso di scrivere prima in inglese e poi in italiano, per cambiare :) Questo outfit risale sempre alla mia mini vacanza fatta a Sorrento, lo scorso venerdì pomeriggio ho fatto una passeggiata sul belvedere e il paesaggio era da mozzare il fiato ! Poi sono tornata alla terrazza dell'hotel, con una stupenda piscina sul tetto ed una vista davvero spettacolare, vista bellissima del cielo e del mare e di altri tetti, incluse le cupole di un paio di Chiese meravigliose ! Sono rimasta lì a godermi la vista del tramonto ! Dopo la passeggiata avevo cambiato le scarpe, indossando un paio di zeppe altissime che adoro e ho anche provato i miei nuovi occhiali da sole comprati lì a Sorrento, ormai ho sviluppato una ossessione per la forma "da gatta" !. Devo ammettere che le zeppe sono molto più comode dei tacchi a spillo, ma data l'altezza estrema, mentre camminavo sui "sampietrini" di un paio di vicoli ho avuto davvero paura di prendermi una bella storta ad una caviglia !. Prima di pubblicare questo post vorrei ringraziare i miei followers, è bello conoscervi tutti, sto scoprendo sempre più blog ricchi di idee da cui trarre ispirazione e persone fantastiche con un grande stile e con un atteggiamento positivo e divertente ! Baci !.
