After a few colorful looks, I go back to black and like a good fashion blogger, I show you how to spice up a black outfit: adding some metallic shine, of course ! After all, bright and metallic silver was seen on many catwalks for this Spring/Summer, and it's a smart way to add some light to a dark ensemble without opting for the classic black & white. In these pics you see me wearing my beloved Balenciaga coat with striped culottes pants and a silver wool sweater. The light keeps shining even on my masculine shoes with jewel applications from Le Silla, one of my favorite brands.

Dopo un bel po' di look colorati, torno al nero e, da brava fashion blogger, vi mostro come vivacizzare un outfit nero: aggiungendo del bagliore metallico, ovviamente ! Dopotutto, l'argento scintillante e metallico è stato visto su molte passerelle per la Primavera/Estate, e si tratta di un modo intelligente per dare luce a un insieme scuro senza andare sul classico bianco & nero. In queste foto mi vedete con il mio adorato cappotto Balenciaga portato con pantaloni culottes a righe e maglione in lana argentata. La luce continua a splendere anche sulle mie scarpe dal taglio maschile con applicazioni gioiello di Le Silla, uno dei miei brand del cuore.

Fighting Blue Monday with a casual outfit featuring a faux fur sleeveless jacket in yellow, white and blue and my white Adidas Superstar sneakers. This is supposed to be the most depressing time of the year, and honestly I think this is right in my case: the weather is really bad and I am going under some little annoying problems, therefore I really need a comfortable and fun look. What's more uplifting than a beanie with ears ? My cat eat beanie is grey and is a present from a dear friend. My husband - enemy of all furry jackets in general - will have to give up and bear with me one more time in a soft and colorful version...otherwise, I might scratch him ! Meowww !

Combattere il Blue Monday con un outfit casual composto da un pellicciotto smanicato in giallo, bianco e blu e le mie sneakers Adidas Superstar in bianco. Questo dovrebbe essere il periodo più deprimente dell'anno, e onestamente credo sia vero nel mio caso: il meteo è sfavorevole e io sto attraversando un periodo ricco di piccoli ma fastidiosi problemi, pertanto un look comodo e divertente è quello che ci vuole. Cosa può migliorare il morale più di un cappellino con le orecchie ? Il mio cappellino con le orecchie da gatto è grigio ed è un regalo da parte di una cara amica. Mio marito - nemico giurato dei pellicciotti in generale - dovrà farsene una ragione e sopportarmi ancora una volta in versione soffice e variopinta...altrimenti lo potrei graffiare ! Miaoooo !

Polka dot print has always been a favorite of mine, in small doses. Here it is on my fashion blog, on a Jijil balloon skirt, in a metallic version, with a sleepy me, feeling a bit weird since we had a change of time thanks to the return of daylight saving time. It's gonna take me a few days to get used to it, but I like the idea of late sunsets !. Luckily, even thought I was feeling sleepy, I had a great help from my sunglasses, that covered up my tired eyes, since I am a night writing fashion blogger. I love my new DSquared2 jeweled sunglasses I found on Giarre online webshop, and this time, after a previous floral look, I thought about wearing them with an as much jeweled sweater, short enough to look good on a balloon mini skirt. Of course, with such precious sunglasses and sweatshirt, I didn't need any necklace to shine on !. 

Gonna a pois a palloncino Jijil: come indossarla

I pois sono sempre stati tra le mie stampe preferite, in piccole dosi. Ecco dunque i pois su questo fashion blog, comparsi su una gonna a palloncino Jijil, in versione metallizzata, con me un po' stanca e disorientata per il cambio orario dovuto al ritorno dell'ora legale. Mi ci vorrà qualche giorno per abituarmici, ma mi piace l'idea dei tramonti in tarda serata !. Meno male che, pur sentendomi assonnata, ho gli occhiali da sole che aiutano a coprire gli occhi stanchi, da brava fashion blogger che scrive di notte. Adoro i miei nuovi occhiali da sole con applicazioni in pietre DSquared2, trovati sul sito online Giarre, e questa volta, dopo un look floreale in un post precedente, ho pensato di abbinarli ad una maglia altrettanto "ingioiellata", di lunghezza adatta ad una minigonna a palloncino. Ovviamente, con occhiali e felpa tanto preziosi, non ho avuto bisogno di alcuna collana per brillare !.

One of the hot trends of the season is, without any doubt, the blanket cape. Yes, for some unknown reason, going out all wrapped in a blanket is now possible without the fear of looking crazy, and it's mostly thanks to Burberry that launched the now famous Burberry cape, a thick wool and cashmere blanket in yellow, red and blue, possibly customized with the initals of the person wearing it. I couldn't miss the chance to experiment on my own skin (or should I say on my layers of wool) this warm and cozy trend, and I did it with my Marc by Marc Jacobs blanket coat that had been waiting to go out with me and appear on my fashion blog. This 100% wool grey maxi scarf with cream checks is really warm and could be easily worn on my mustard sweater and skinny jeans as a poncho. To keep it chic, I decided to wear my golden chain necklace from Vitti Ferria Contin, one of my favorite jewelry designers, and added a handmade Chanel inspired brooch from Theatrebijoux.

Uno dei trend più in voga per questa stagione è, senza ombra di dubbio, la mantella  o cappa, molto simile ad una vera coperta. Ebbene sì, per qualche strano motivo, uscire avvolti in una coperta è ora possibile senza sembrare dei reduci da una qualche non specificata calamità naturale, ed è soprattutto grazie ai geni di Burberry che hanno lanciato la famosa mantella coperta del brand, in pesante lana e cashmere nei colori giallo, rosso e blu, possibilmente personalizzata con le iniziali di chi la indossa. Non potevo perdere l'occasione di sperimentare sulla mia pelle (o dovrei dire, sui miei strati di maglioni) questo trend caldissimo, e l'ho fatto indossando la mia cappa Marc by Marc Jacobs che attendeva da tempo di essere la protagonista sul mio fashion blog. Questa maxi sciarpa in pura lana, grigia con bordi a quadroni crema, è davvero calda e facilmente abbinabile al mio maglione color senape ed a jeans skinny come un semplice poncho. Per ulteriori tocchi chic, ho deciso di sfoggiare la collana a catena dorata di Vitti Ferria Contin, per la quale ho una predilezione in fatto di gioielli, ed ho aggiunto una spilla fatta a mano Chanel inspired di Theatrebijoux.

After many colorful outfits, I am here with an almost all black look !. Black, the safest colors of all, the one that never fails when you need something to wear and you are undecided, is the main carachter in this post, featuring a faux leather midi pleated skirt and a metallic finish sweater, as well as my classic Le Silla pumps and Givenchy Antigona bag. A good quality pair of smooth leather pumps with a reasonably high heel are something every woman should own in her shoe closet, in my opinion, and it's a good idea, if you don't have a pair yet, to look for them on sale, as they can be a good solution for office, for an elegant evening and look glamorous under your jeans. Black is also defined as lack of color, therefore as I consider myself a coloraholic, I couldn't help adding a Kiomi bold red coat and a Baracuta England scarf, that you can see scrolling the post !.

Gonna nera midi a pieghe con decolleté nere classiche 

Dopo molti outfit colorati, eccomi con un look quasi totalmente in nero !. Il nero, colore più sicuro di tutti, con il quale non si sbaglia mai quando si è in dubbio su cosa indossare, è il protagonista principale di questo post, con una gonna midi plissé in eco pelle ed un maglione a finitura spalmata. Nere sono anche le pumps Le Silla e la borsa Givenchy Antigona. Un paio di scarpe in pelle liscia di qualità con un tacco alto ma non troppo sono, secondo me, un must have per la scarpiera di ogni donna, e se non ne avete ancora vi consiglio di cercarle ai saldi. Possono essere una ottima soluzione sia per l'ufficio che per la sera e stare benissimo anche sotto ai jeans. Il nero viene definito anche come assenza di colore, ma io mi considero una coloraholic, per cui non ho resistito ad aggiungere un cappotto Kiomi rosso vivace ed una sciarpa Baracuta England che potete vedere scorrendo le immagini !.

The ribbed knit sweater is a winter classic that is very hot this year, keeping us warm and stylish either in a slim or an oversized version. I have always been a fan of such sweaters, and in this new outfit I am wearing one under my black Gloverall Duffle coat, bought on Asos on Black Friday, as I told you in a previous post. Two winter timeless must have pieces, mixed with a couple of trendy pieces: my burgundy woolen culottes and buckled cut-out boots, already seen on this fashion blog. The result is a comfortable and fun look, embellished with my Sodini jewelry pieces and my Ecua-Andino wool hat.

Gli imperdibili: Montgomery e maglione a costine

Il maglione a costine è un classico dell'inverno molto trendy quest'anno, tenendoci caldi e alla moda sia in versione slim che oversize. Sono da sempre una fan di questo genere di maglioni, ed in questo nuovo outfit ne indosso uno sotto al mio Montomery nero Gloverall, preso su Asos approfittando di uno sconto del Black Friday, come vi avevo già anticipato. Due capi invernali senza tempo, abbinati ad un paio di pezzi molto trendy, come le culottes in lana bordeaux e gli stivaletti con fibbie, già visti su questo fashion blog. Il risultato è un look comodo e divertente, abbellito dai miei bijoux Sodini e dal cappello in lana Ecua-Andino.

This cute, elegant backpack is very versatile, with its golden hardware and shiny ecoleather. 

I decided to wear it with my brand new fringed pencil skirt and golden tank top, from Northland. 

The outfit got a special touch thanks to my Sodini bijoux necklace and bracelet from this Fall/Winter collection, and a burgundy leather jacket. My new Nando Muzi patent leather brogues completed the look...I am loving brogues so much lately, even with skirts !. 

Lo zaino è uno dei trend più caldi per questo Autunno. I tempi della scuola sono - ahimé - ben lontani, ma questa nuova versione dello zaino, comodo, di impatto, moderno, può farne un accessorio molto glam, perfetto con diversi tipi di look, specialmente se grazie alla sua forma si presta ad essere portato anche come una borsa. E' proprio questo il caso di questo zainetto nero effetto coccodrillo lucido di Verysimple, che potete trovare in cinque diversi colori cliccando quì :). 

Questo carinissimo ed elegante zainetto Verysimple è estremamente versatile, con l'hardware dorato e l'ecopelle lucidissima. Ho deciso di abbinarlo ad una gonna a tubo con frange e ad una canotta dorata, tutto Northland. Ho impreziosito l'outfit con parure collana e bracciale Sodini bijoux, dalla nuova collezione Autunno/Inverno, ed una giacchina in pelle bordeaux.

Le mie nuove stringate Nando Muzi, in vitello spazzolato, hanno completato il look. Sto letteralmente adorando le stringate, anche con le gonne !.

Sangria color and Suguru scarf

Elegance is a matter of details and proportions. Lately I've been having fun playing with different lenghts for my clothes, mixing large trousers and a short shirt like it happened with this look, accessorized with a few statement pieces. At my neck, no necklace this time, but something even more precious: my silk scarf from Sugurustudio, that I showed you in a preview in a previous post.

This beautiful 100% silk foulard completes this modern classic outfit, built with pair of black culottes pants, and my new cropped shirt with a lace trim in the trendiest color for Fall, Sangria.

L'eleganza è fatta di dettagli e di proporzioni. Ultimamente mi sono divertita molto a giocare con le varie lunghezze e dimensioni dei miei vestiti, mescolando pantaloni larghi con una camicia corta, come in questo look, accessoriato con alcuni pezzi particolari. Al collo, nessuna collana, ma qualcosa di ancora più prezioso: la mia sciarpa in seta di Sugurustudio, che vi avevo mostrato in anteprima in un post precedente. 

Questo bellissimo foulard in pura seta completa questo look classico e moderno al tempo stesso, composto da pantaloni neri modello culottes e la mia nuova camicia corta con bordo in pizzo nel colore più trendy del momento, Sangria.

Outfit: the Culottes trend

Culottes are the new must have pants for this Summer, did you know it ? I bet you did ! In this new outfit post I am wearing my ethnic print culottes, I decided to wear them for a lunch with hubby in a little town nearby. A trendy and comfortable look for a few hours spent pretending to be a tourist on holiday, forgetting the Office and enjoying a meal on a terrace facing the sea, featuring a white t-shirt, wedges at my feet and my good old red Prada bag.

In questo nuovo post outfit ne indosso un paio con stampa etnica che ho deciso di inaugurare per un pranzetto fuori con il maritino, in un paesino nei dintorni. Un look comodo e trendy per trascorrere qualche ora fingendosi turisti in vacanza, dimenticando l'ufficio e godendosi un pasto su una terrazza con vista mozzafiato sul mare, incentrato su una t-shirt bianca, zeppe ai piedi e la mia cara vecchia borsa Prada rossa.

Beige faux fur jacket

Hey everyone, how are you doing ? I've been feeling very tired lately, because I have got too many things to do and I just wish my days had 48 hours !. 

It's the right time for a new outfit post, this time it's pretty simple...just jeans and sweater, sporting a tan colored faux fur jacket. Basic colors for the jacket and the sweater, that allowed me to play with one of my favorite and most extreme statement necklaces.

Ciao a tutti, come state ? Io mi sento abbastanza stanca, ultimamente ho avuto troppe cose da fare in troppo poco tempo, quanto vorrei poter avere giornate di 48 ore !. 

E' giunto il momento di un nuovo post outfit, questa volta è abbastanza semplice...un paio di jeans ed un maglione, ma il vero protagonista è il mio pellicciotto beige. Colori basici sia per la giacca che per il maglione, che mi hanno permesso di eccedere con una delle mie statement necklace preferite.

Country and Camo

Camouflage, as a form of military visual deception, features a print composed of a  mixture of olive greens, sands and browns. Sometimes, anyway, camouflage is the opposite of deception, and here it comes my version, with this fashion camouflage sweater, featuring red, purple and light pink spots. 

Surely, not a way to hide from the others, but a fun way to keep warm and cozy on a winter day, especially if worn with a country and urban mood, in look I called "country and camo" !.

Il camouflage, come forma di camuffamento visuale tipicamente militare, è una stampa composta da di un mix di verdi oliva, color sabbia e marroni. Ci sono delle volte, invece, in cui camouflage può essere l'esatto opposto del nascondersi, ed in questa casistica ricade questa mia versione, con un maglione la cui stampa è composta da macchie rosse, viola e rosa pallido.

Sicuramente, non efficace per nascondersi alla vista altrui, ma un modo divertente di tenersi comode e al caldo in una giornata invernale, specialmente se portato con mood un po' country e un po' urban, in un look che ho chiamato "country & camo" !.

As most of you probably know already, I am a huge fan of colors. I love wearing black, always a classic, but there are days when I love to sport some really bold and colorful accessories, just like my brand new bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs "Lil Ukita" bag in pop pink. This bag, courtesy of hubby (hints are useful, lol), has become a classic piece in Marc by Marc Jacobs collection. Lil Ukitas come in so many colors and have a top handle, a detachable cross-body strap and a signature logo plaque detailing. Mine is in a very bright pink, a fuchsia color. I needed a bold pink bag in my life, and this one is perfect, not too big and not too small, both dressy and casual !.

Come molti di voi già avranno capito, sono una grande fan dei colori. Mi piace vestirmi di nero, un classico da sempre, ma ci sono giorni in cui mi piace portare accessori dalle tinte forti e molto colorate, proprio come la mia nuova borsa, la "Lil Ukita" Marc by Marc Jacobs nel colore pop pink. Questa borsa, regalatami (dietro piccolo suggerimento, lol !) dal maritino, è diventata uno dei pezzi classici nella collezione Marc by Marc Jacobs, viene prodotta in molti colori, ha sia il manico che una tracolla staccabile e una piccola placca con logo sul davanti. La mia è in un rosa molto acceso, praticamente un fucsia. Avevo bisogno di una borsa di questo colore nella mia vita e questa è perfetta, né troppo grande né troppo piccola, adatta sia a look più elaborati che a quelli casual !.

Vintage style: camel cape

Vintage meets modern with this new outfit post. This look has indeed a touch of vintage style, with this cute small black hat that has a '30s inspired shape, and the camel cape coat. A modern touch comes from the animalier print of my Longchamp bag, and the studs on the hat. A perfect mixture for a style changing, clothes switching woman like me.

Il vintage incontra lo stile moderno in questo nuovo post outfit. Questo look ha, infatti, un tocco di stile retrò, con questo cappellino dalla forma ispirata agli anni '30, e la cappa color cammello. Un tocco di modernità è dato dalla stampa animalier della mia borsa Longchamp, e dalle borchie che impreziosiscono il cappello. Un mix perfetto per chi, come me, ama cambiare stile e giocare con abiti e accessori.

Trendy and warm: my Parka jacket !

Some of you will surely remember my green Christmas wishlist.
Well, I am happy because I succeeded in having a few green items I really wanted, especially the trendiest winter coat of the moment: a Parka jacket !.
I've been obsessing over getting a warm Parka, an iconic jacket that would be stylish and comfortable at the same time, and finally I found it. What do you think about it ?.
This jacket is from a brand called Campo V and their Parka is called Sherpa 1953, it's been inspired by the great accomplishment happened on May 29th, 1953, when Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay reached the summit of Mount Everest, 29.028 feet above sea level, the highest spot on earth !.

Beh, sono felice perché sono riuscita a fare miei alcuni articoli "verdi" che volevo molto, specialmente il giaccone invernale più trendy del momento: il Parka !.
Continuavo a pensarci, dovevo assolutamente trovare un Parka che fosse caldo, stiloso e confortevole allo stesso tempo e l'ho finalmente trovato. Che ne pensate ?.

Another new entry in green is the bag you see, a green leather Prada duffle, a very special present I got that I love so much !. You can see it better in the pic below.
I matched the bag with brown Arfango ankle boots that have been waiting in my shoe closet for a long time.
This time I opted for a casual look, but I've seen the trend is wearing the Parka also with more elegant outfits, I am gonna try this for sure !.

Un'altra new entry in verde è la borsa che vedete, un bauletto in pelle martellata, un regalo speciale che mi piace tantissimo !. Potete vederla meglio nella foto sottostante.
Ho abbinato la borsa a stivaletti marroni di Arfango che attendevano di uscire con me da un bel po' di tempo.
Per questa volta ho scelto un abbinamento casual ma il trend del momento è abbinare il Parka anche ad indumenti più eleganti, proverò senz'altro anche questa versione !.

The sweater I am wearing underneath my Parka is from Northland and has loads of colors, as well as being pretty warm.
The Missoni scarf is quite an old purchase. Since I have my walk in closet I find things much more easily and I am so pleased with that !.

Il maglione che indossavo sotto al Parka è di Northland ed ha tanti colori vivaci oltre ad essere piuttosto caldo.
La sciarpa di Missoni è un acquisto abbastanza datato, l'ho ritrovata facilmente grazie alla cabina armadio, da quando l'ho organizzata trovare le cose è molto più facile e ne sono felice !.

When the air got more fresh, I was ready to wear a burgundy beanie. I have to confess I always have a beanie inside my bag when it's winter. I like to feel warm and also to get ready when the weather is humid !.
This bonnet is from Scotch and Soda, same brand as Maison Scotch and I have decided to buy it for myself even tho I found it under the male side, cause beanie hats are just a unisex item !.
Dressed this way I feel ready to live an adventure, not on Mount Everest but in a few shops, for sales hunting ! I think it requires strenght and courage, anyway, don't you ? :-P.

Quando l'aria si è fatta più fresca, ecco comparire un cappellino a cuffia bordeaux. Confesso di avere sempre un cappellino di questo genere in borsa, in inverno. Sono freddolosa e inoltre mi piace essere pronta ad ogni evenienza, incluso il tempo umido !.
Questo cappellino è di Scotch & Soda, stesso brand di Maison Scotch, e ho deciso di prenderlo per me sebbene trovato nel reparto uomo perché questo tipo di cappelli sono decisamente unisex !.
Vestita così mi sento pronta per un'avventura, non sul Monte Everest ma nei negozi per un po' di caccia ai saldi ! Credo che sia un'impresa che richieda forza e coraggio comunque, non credete anche voi ? ;-P.

Cheap Monday meets Hermès

One of the things I always bring with me whenever I go out is a scarf, I always wear a wool scarf in Winter but I adore wearing a silk scarf during the Spring and I bring it with me even for Summer nights out !.
Silk carves keep being added to my collection and the best thing is that I've been using some of them for many years already and I always like them a lot, just like the Hermès one I am wearing in these pics. I think a nice silk scarf can add something special even to a simple outfit plus it's very useful when it's windy, don't you agree with me ? Moreover, when I get tired of wearing it, it can be easily stored into my bag ;-).

Una delle cose che porto sempre con me quando esco è una sciarpa, indosso sempre una sciarpa di lana in inverno ma adoro i foulard in seta in primavera e li porto spesso con me anche per le serate estive !.
I foulard di seta continuano ad aggiungersi alla mia collezione e la cosa migliore è che alcuni li uso da molti anni e continuano a piacermi molto, proprio come quello di Hermès che indosso in queste foto. Credo che un bel foulard in seta possa aggiungere qualcosa di speciale all'intero outfit inoltre è molto utile in caso di vento, non credete anche voi ? Inoltre, se mi stancassi di indossarlo, può essere facilmente riposto in borsa ;-).

I am a fan of Cheap Monday jeans, I love them also cause they are often high waisted and this means being comfier and more feminine, these are brand new and the name of the model is "second skin dark prest".
I have decided to go for a layered look, wearing a Cheap Monday cobalt blue tank top with a Zara basic top underneath and an asymmetrical blue cardi from Northland. This is the right kind of outfit for such a crazy weather that goes from very hot to chilly in the same day !.
My beloved Chucks with a stars and stripes print and my Balenciaga city completed the look !.

Sono una fan dei jeans Cheap Monday, li amo anche perché sono spesso a vita alta e ciò per me significa maggiore comodità e femminilità, questo modello è nuovo e si chiama "Second Skin Dark Prest".
Ho deciso di adottare il look "stratificato", indossando una canotta blu cobalto sempre di Cheap Monday sopra ad una maglia basic a maniche lunghe di Zara e aggiungendo un cardigan asimmetrico blu di Northland.
Questo tipo di outfit è sicuramente adatto ad un clima tanto pazzo che passa da caldissimo a fresco nel corso della stessa giornata !.
Le mie adorate Converse a stampa bandiera americana e la Balenciaga City hanno completato il look !.

My followers on Twitter and Facebook already know that the other day I was so sad cause I thought I had lost a charm, a lock that has a meaning to me, then I have luckily found it on the floor when I had lost hopes ! Now I am thinking about getting them all treated with a welding so that I don't risk them to fall out anymore !.
