Fashion trends: pied de poule

One of the trends for this Fall-Winter is surely the pied de poule print, a classic that surely already was in our mother's closets and that is used every year. Now pied de poule (or pied de coq, in its larger version) can be seen on jackets, dresses but also on shoes, purses, glasses and tights.
What do you think about it ? I personally like it, especially in its less "serious" version, and matched with something less classic and you'll see a few outfits with pied de poule print quite soon...as a preview, see the image below ;).

Uno dei trend per l'Autunno-Inverno è sicuramente la stampa pied de poule, un classico che è già stato presente nell'armadio delle nostre mamme e che viene proposto ogni anno. Ora il pied de poule (o pied de coq, nella sua versione più grande) si trova non solo sulle giacche, abiti ma anche sulle scarpe, borse, occhiali e calze.
Cosa ne pensate ? Personalmente devo dire che mi piace, specialmente nella sua versione meno seriosa e abbinato a qualcosa di meno classico, vi farò presto vedere qualche outfit a tema pied de poule...come preview, notate l'immagine seguente ;).

I think I will style the Pull&Bear sweater with jeans and black decos or black ankle boots, the short dress from River Island would look great with Oxfords or loafers otherwise I'd spice it up with a pair of high heeled boots. The dress on the right from Asos is very body conscious and I was brave enough to order a very small size...this means I will probably need firemen to help me undress, since it fits like a glove, LOL !.

Nell'immagine sovrastante potete vedere tre articoli già presenti nel mio armadio, comprati di recente. Li vedrete prima o poi nei miei post outfit !.
Credo che abbinerò la maglia di Pull&Bear con dei jeans e deco nere o tronchetti neri, l'abito corto di River Island starebbe bene con stringate o con i mocassini oppure per un tocco più sexy con stivali dal tacco alto. L'abito a destra di Asos è molto aderente e sono stata temeraria, l'ho ordinato della taglia più piccola in assoluto...ciò significa che per svestirmi avrò probabilmente bisogno dei vigili del fuoco, calza come un guanto, LOL !.

Pied de poule is a classic but it can be reloaded into something very fun and modern !. In the selection above I am in love with n. 3, the House of Holland merino wool sweater that turned out being VERY pricey (about € 420...and it's not a coat, it's just a sweater) so I gave up the idea of buying it. What do you think about this trend and the selection ? Is there anything you'd like to buy ?. I am looking forward to your opinion !.

Il pied de poule è un classico che può essere rivisitato in una versione divertente e moderna !. Nella selezione dell'immagine sopra sono innamorata del numero 3., il maglione in lana colorato di House of Holland, che però si è rivelato troppo costoso (circa 420 euro ed è solo un maglione), così ho rinunciato all'idea di comprarlo. Che ne pensate di questo trend e dei capi selezionati ? C'è qualcosa che vi piacerebbe acquistare ? Non vedo l'ora di sentire le vostre opinioni !.

Not too casual: green pants !

In these days I've been shopping like crazy and most of my purchases, both from online stores and from shops in my town, are short dresses or skirts, but weirdly I've been wearing pants more often than ever. In these pics I am experimenting with new pants I bought at H&M, they come from the "divided" line. I love the color and the shape because they are not exagerately low waisted. Green is definately one of my fave colors and this color matches my Sodini necklace I had already showed you !.

In questi giorni ho fatto parecchio shopping e la maggior parte dei miei acquisti, sia provenienti da shop online che da negozi della mia città, hanno riguardato abitini e gonne, invece stranamente mi sto ritrovando ad indossare pantaloni più spesso del solito. In queste foto sto provando i miei nuovi pantaloni presi da da H&M nella sezione "divided". Mi piacciono il colore e il modello, non troppo a vita bassa. Il verde è sicuramente uno dei miei colori preferiti e quello di questi pantaloni si abbina perfettamente al verde della collana Sodini che vi avevo già mostrato !.

This outfit is casual but not too much, thanks to my Celyn B black top, simple but elegant, and my beloved wedge pumps !. You had been warned that I would have used them in other outfits soon ! ;).

Celyn B leather jacket

I also had a jacket with me, a leather jacket from Celyn B. I love it and I would wear it all the time, with pants but also with long skirts !.
If I could choose, I'd want the weather to stay like this for several months...not too cold, not too hot...perfection ! This is what I call "leather jacket weather", it usually doesn't last for long...so I wanna enjoy it with more walks in open air !.
As the serial shopper I am, I have ended up buying these pants also in another color...guess it ! ;))

Avevo con me anche una giacca, un giubbino in pelle di Celyn B., un capo che adoro e che indosserei tutte le volte, con pantaloni ma anche con gonne lunghe !.
Se potessi scegliere, vorrei che il tempo restasse così per parecchi mesi...non troppo freddo, né troppo caldo...la perfezione ! Questo è proprio tempo da giacche in pelle, di solito non dura a lungo, per cui intendo godermelo facendo più passeggiate all'aria aperta !.
Da serial shopper quale sono, ho finito per comprare questi pantaloni anche in un altro colore...indovinatelo ! ;))

The highlights of my week so far have been:
1) going to the movies to see "The art of rap", a documentary film directed by Ice-T that takes us on a journey into the heart and soul of hip-hop with the legends of rap music. Maybe you didn't know I love hip-hop !. Has anyone else watched it ?
2) getting a cold...I've been sneezing and feeling a bit sick :(
3) sending out multiple orders on asos ! I seriously got addicted !
4) yelling at my Iphone because Instagram keeps making my phone crash...I can't wait to get myself an Iphone 5 ;)
5) being glad cause Gossip Girl is back and a bit sad because it's the last serie...ok, the plot is not the best one but it amuses me and keeps me entertained, sometimes it's enough !

I momenti clou della mia settimana fino ad oggi sono stati:
1) andare al cinema a vedere "The art of rap", un film documentario diretto da Ice-T che ci porta in un viaggio nel cuore e nell'anima dell'hip-hop con le leggende della musica rap. Forse non sapevate che amo l'hip-hop !. Voi lo avete visto ?
2) prendere il raffreddore...continuo a starnutire e mi sento abbastanza a pezzi :(
3) fare ordini multipli su asos ! Sono diventata dipendente !
4) insultare il mio Iphone perché Instagram lo fa andare in crash...non vedo l'ora di avere un Iphone 5 ;)
5) essere felice per il ritorno di Gossip Girl e anche un po' triste perché è l'ultima serie...ok, la scenneggiatura non è delle migliori ma mi diverte e mi intrattiene, a volte è abbastanza !
