It's said a leopard can't change its spots to mean a person cannot truly change the way she/he is. I feel in a way, it's true even in fashion, I am sure it happens to most of you to keep being attracted to the same things.
I realized this even more when I noticed I have several leopard shoes in my shoe closet...I mean, it's not like black shoes or neutral color shoes, it's not something everyone would wear everyday, yet I have leopard loafers, leopard sneakers, and high heeled pumps in leopard print...If wearing leopard shoes is a crime, I do plead guilty !.
Si dice che un leopardo non possa cambiare le sue macchie per dire che non si può cambiare il proprio modo di essere. Io credo sia, in qualche modo, applicabile anche alla moda...sicuramente accade anche a molti di voi di essere continuamente attratti dalle stesse cose.
Io l'ho capito ancora di più quando ho notato di avere diverse scarpe leopardate nella mia scarpiera...voglio dire, non sto parlando di scarpe nere o di colori neutri, non è certamente qualcosa che chiunque indosserebbe ogni giorno, invece ho mocassini leopardati, sneakers e tacchi alti a stampa leopardo...Se calzare scarpe leopardate fosse reato, mi dichiaro colpevole !.
I think in spite of being really eye-catching, leopard printed shoes can go well with many outfits...So here they are, two outfits with two shoes of my (growing) leo-collection.
The first outfit is more romantic and elegant, with that mid lenght golden brown skirt bought online, the short cardi from Pinko and Paciotti shoes and the other one is bolder and suitable for everyday, with a simple burgundy Mango dress, blazer shaped cardigan from Carla G and leopard ankle boots.
Which one do you prefer ? I am curious to know :-). Would you wear leopard shoes and how ?.
Io credo che nonostante siano molto appariscenti, le scarpe leopardate possano andare bene con diversi outfits...Allora eccovene due con due paia di scarpe dalla mia leo-collezione (sempre in crescita).
Il primo outfit è più romantico ed elegante, con la gonna bronzo dorata comprata online, di media lunghezza, la giacchina corta di Pinko e scarpe di Paciotti e l'altro è più grintoso e adatto a tutti i giorni, con quel semplice abitino bordeaux di Mango, cardigan a blazer di Carla G e stivaletti alla caviglia.
Quale dei due preferite ? Sono curiosa di saperlo :-). Calzereste scarpe leopardate e come le abbinereste ?.

Said that, this time of the year is a bit depressing when it comes to go out window shopping...I prefer lurking to new clothes online ! In the shops in town there are sales still and I need to see new things ! The only place I am happy to go to in these days is Sephora ! I've already bought a few things from new make up collection, here's my little haul.
I had already bought the Chanel June polish last week, the other things I've bought them yesterday and today instead. I am so in love with that Dior palette, can't wait to use it, even tho it's so beautiful that I already know I am gonna feel a bit guilty when I have to use it the first time !. The only item that is not from a new collection is the Dior lip polish, I bought it again cause I run out of it and I love it ;-) plus I think it matches Chanel's June quite well !.
Questo periodo dell'anno è un po' deprimente quando si tratta di uscire per vetrine...preferisco guardarmi le novità online ! Nei negozi in città ci sono ancora i saldi e io ho bisogno di vedere cose nuove ! L'unico luogo in cui sono contenta di andare in questi giorni è Sephora ! Ho già acquistato qualcosa dalle nuove collezioni, eccovi il mio piccolo haul.
Lo smalto Chanel June lo avevo preso dalla settimana scorsa, invece le altre cosine le ho prese tra ieri e oggi. Mi piace tantissimo la palettina Dior, non vedo l'ora di usarla, anche se è così bella che già so che mi sentirò un po' in colpa quando dovrò usarla per la prima volta !. L'unico articolo che non proviene da una nuova collezione è il lip polish di Dior, l'ho ricomprato perché mi era finito e lo adoro ;-) e in più credo si abbini bene con lo smalto June di Chanel !.
