Street Style: a mix of patterns

Hello, everyone ! Here we go again, blue is once again the key color in this mixed patterns and fabrics outfit...I love it too much ! This edgy "Street Style" look is featuring my new pair of 70s style print culottes and a lace blouse, enriched by a set of new, trendy accessories from the new Sodini bijoux Fall/Winter 2014-2015 collection: a beautiful set of statement necklace and bracelet, and an amazing faux fur clutch !. 

Ciao a tutti ! Ci risiamo, eccomi ancora in blu, colore che amo troppo, in un mix di stampe e tessuti ! Questo look "Street Style" molto particolare mi vede con il mio nuovo paio di culottes a stampa anni 70 abbinati ad una blusa in pizzo, il tutto arricchito da accessori molto trendy, provenienti dalla nuova collezione Autunno/Inverno 2014-2015 Sodini bijoux: un bellissimo completo composto da collana e bracciale "statement" ed una adorabile clutch in ecopelliccia !.

Embroidered culottes in Ravello

What's better than being on holidays ?! Nothing can beat the feeling of having a few days of total freedom and relax in a lovely place. Sometimes, we don't need to catch a plane and leave to a very exotic country to enjoy a magical place. Ravello, in the Amalfi coast, is surely a rare gem...wonderful views, flowers everywhere, places with a lot of history and culture to visit, mild and sunny climate and great food make it a perfect holiday place, and also a perfect place to wear my embroidered culottes pants - a must have kind of pants that is gonna be trendy also this Fall - that I decided to wear with a fun t-shirt, my beloved platinum Lemaré slip-on Oxfords, my new red sunglasses and a beautiful Vitti Ferria Contin necklace.

Cosa è meglio di essere in vacanza ?! Niente può battere la consapevolezza di avere davanti a noi alcuni giorni di libertà totale e di relax in un posto bellissimo. Spesso, non c'è neanche bisogno di salire su di un aereo per qualche meta esotica per godersi un luogo magico. Ravello, sulla Costiera Amalfitana, è sicuramente una gemma da visitare...viste incredibili, fiori ovunque, luoghi ricchi di storia e di cultura da visitare, un clima mite e soleggiato e cibo eccellente rendono questa cittadina un luogo di vacanza perfetto, ed anche il luogo ideale per indossare i miei pantaloni ricamati modello culottes, un must have di questa Estate che ci seguirà anche nella stagione fredda - che ho deciso di indossare con una t-shirt spiritosa, le mie adorate Oxford color platino Lemaré modello slip-on, i miei nuovi occhiali da sole rossi ed una bellissima collana Vitti Ferria Contin.

Trend: french fries print

Hey guys, how are you doing ? I am still kinda stressed and in need of a vacation more than ever, moreover the weather isn't being helpful...it's very mutable, and I am trying to enjoy each day of warmth and sun at a time, knowing it might change quickly. The other day it really felt like true summer, and to have a walk with hubby I decided to opt for a very laid back casual outfit, with ripped shorts and a fries print blue tee I found on Blackfive. The add of a roomy bag and my Lemaré black and white Oxfords helped me to create one of the most comfortable looks of all the time, so the walk was long...and, as ever, it led me to some cool shops for some good shopping ;).

Ciao a tutti, come state ? Io ancora sotto stress al lavoro e con forte bisogno di una vacanza, inoltre ci si è messo anche il meteo...è molto variabile, così cerco di godermi ogni singola giornata di sole e caldo, sapendo che potrebbe finire da un momento all'altro. L'altro giorno ha fatto davvero caldo e sembrava, finalmente, di essere davvero in Estate, così per una passeggiata col maritino ho deciso di optare per un outfit casual molto rilassato, con pantaloncini strappati ed una tee blu con stampa patatine fritte scovata su Blackfive. L'aggiunta di una borsa spaziosa e le mie Oxford senza lacci bianche e nere Lemaré hanno creato uno dei miei look più comodi di tutti i tempi, così la mia passeggiata è stata lunga e piacevole...e, come sempre, mi ha portata in alcuni bellissimi negozi per un po' di sano shopping ;)

Ruffles on the back

Sometimes things are just different than what they seem. Sometimes, something plain and normal can hide something more structured...just like this plain blue shirt with ruffles on the back, the key piece of this almost monochrome outfit, together with baroque pants and my metallic slip-on Oxford shoes, super comfortable, from Lemaré !.

A volte, ciò che ad un primo sguardo sembra fatto in un modo, è diverso da quello che sembra. A volte, qualcosa di perfettamente normale e lineare nasconde qualcosa di più complesso...proprio come la camicia con le rouches sul retro, pezzo chiave di questo outfit quasi monocromatico, impreziosito da pantaloni a stampa barocca e dalle mie Oxford slip-on in pelle metallizzata, comodissime, targate Lemaré !.

Not a morning person

I am not a morning person, I admit it !. I like to stay in bed in the morning, mostly because I am a night owl ;). I am so ready to confess my difficulties at waking up early in the morning and in a good mood with this tee, that I matched to a floral maxi skirt from Cichic: a relaxed outfit for a walk in the countryside, a change for a "sea girl" like me ;).

Non sono una persona mattiniera, lo ammetto ! Mi piace poltrire a letto al mattino, soprattutto perché, facendo sempre tardi la notte, devo recuperare. Sono pronta a confessare pienamente le mie difficoltà nello svegliarmi presto e di buon umore con questa tee che ho abbinato ad una maxi gonna verde a fiori, di Cichic: un outfit comodo e rilassato per una passeggiata in campagna, uno scenario diverso per una "ragazza di mare" come me ;).

 

Fashion trend: printed sweatshirt

Printed sweatshirts seem to be everywhere lately and thanks to this trend sweatshirts aren't "just" a basic item ! They are no more confined to the gym or exclusive to "relaxing at home" moments !.
You can find plenty of sweatshirts, from low cost brands to famous designer brands (the most famous sweatshirt of the moment being Kenzo tiger head sweatshirt, I am sure you have seen it on many fashionistas, it is now sold out everywhere !).
I love mine with Wonder Woman print, from Only, it's a bit oversized, warm and very comfy !.

Le felpe stampate sembrano essere dappertutto ultimamente, grazie a questo trend non sono più solo un capo basic, non sono più confinate alla palestra o da utilizzare esclusivamente per momenti di relax in casa !. Potete trovarne di belle ovunque, dai brand low cost ai famosi designer (la felpa al momento più celebre è quella di Kenzo con la stampa di una testa di tigre, sono sicura che l'avete già vista su diverse fashioniste, ora è sold out dappertutto !).
Io amo la mia con la stampa di Wonder Woman, di Only, un po' oversize, calda e molto comoda !.

Feeling well dressed even wearing casual clothing is the ultimate challenge !. Printed sweatshirts can be worn with jeans or leggings but also with unexpectedly more "elegant" clothes, such as long skirts and pencil skirts, for a more sophisticatedly trendy result.
I have decided to wear mine with skinny jeans and wedged boots for a casual but trendy outfit. As my beloved Barney Stinson would say...Challenge accepted !.

Sentirsi eleganti anche indossando capi casual è la sfida più grande !. Le felpe stampate possono essere indossate, ovviamente, con jeans o leggings ma anche con capi più inaspettatamente classificati come "eleganti", gonne lunghe o a tubo, per un risultato più sofisticato e trendy.
Ho deciso di indossare la mia con jeans skinny e stivaletti con zeppa interna per un outfit casual ma trendy. Come direbbe il mio adorato Barney Stinson...sfida accettata !.

Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses

The wedge boots I am wearing in these pics are very comfortable shoes and they are the evolution of the wedge sneakers trend !. I chose them in a bold color, same color as my Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses and I matched them to my "Too hot to handle" tote from Marc by Marc Jacobs ;).
I know some people get mixed feelings about internal wedge shoes, I personally like them (in spite of being a stilettos addicted) and anyway I can say I am not afraid of trying out new trends, this is the way I am in everyday life: stilettos, wedges, flats, sneakers, chunky heels and even UGGs...I sure do enjoy sporting new trends, playing with different looks and my only limit is this rule: "wear only things you feel at ease with" !.

Gli stivaletti con zeppa interna che indosso in queste foto sono comodissimi e sono l'evoluzione delle sneakers con zeppa ! Li ho presi in un colore forte, lo stesso dei miei occhiali di Dolce & Gabbana e in questo outfit li ho abbinati alla borsa "Too hot to handle" di Marc by Marc Jacobs.
So che le scarpe con zeppa interna suscitano opinioni molto diverse, a me personalmente piacciono (nonostante io sia dipendente dai tacchi a spillo) ma devo dire che in generale non ho paura di provare nuovi trend, è come sono fatta nella vita di tutti i giorni: tacchi a spillo, zeppe, scarpe basse, sneakers, tacchi grossi ed anche UGGs...adoro provare nuovi modelli, giocare con diversi look ed il mio unico limite è questa regola: "indossa solo capi con i quali ti senti a tuo agio" !.

My own Parisian style

Why have I named this post "Parisian style" ? I don't know exactly, but probably it's because today, from my office room, for a minute I was totally daydreaming about a vacation in Paris and I think this simple outfit would be totally nice for a walk on the Rive Gauche, as a relaxed tourist !.
You had already seen this black and white peplum sweater in my post dedicated pied de poule trend, well, I decided to go for a simple and casual look when I finally got to wear it for the first time, matching jeans and a new pair of total black Lemaré wedge sneakers, same shape of the other ones I have.

Perché mai chiamare questo post "Parisian style" ? Non lo so esattamente, forse è perché oggi, dalla mia stanza in ufficio, per un attimo ho sognato ad occhi aperti di partire per una breve vacanza a Parigi e credo che questo semplice outfit sarebbe carino per una passeggiata sulla Rive Gauche, da turista in tutto relax !.
Avevate già visto una preview di questa maglia bianca e nera, con peplum, nel mio post dedicato al trend del pied de poule, e ho deciso di indossarla per la prima volta con un look casual e semplice, abbinandovi i jeans e un nuovo paio di sneakers con zeppa interna Lemaré, stavolta total black !.

The black leather shoulder bag is not new, actually I bought it many years ago from Mandarina Duck...I even forgot to have it, then when I found it again inside a box with other handbags I was so happy, because I think it's truly lovely and timeless !. You can see the details of the bag in the pic below.

La borsa a tracolla in pelle nera non è una new entry, al contrario, risale a diversi anni fa, l'avevo comprata dalla Mandarina Duck...mi ero persino dimenticata di averla e quando l'ho ritrovata in fondo ad uno scatolone dove giaceva in mezzo ad altre borse ne sono stata molto felice, perché la trovo adorabile e senza tempo !. Potete vederla meglio nella foto sottostante.

These shoes gave me addiction ! They are very comfy and for a person used to walk on high heels they give that bit of height that I miss when I am walking in sneakers and I have to say I am happy I also got them in total black because it's so easy to match them with most of my clothes. See them better below !.

Queste scarpe danno assuefazione ! Sono troppo comode e per una persona abituata a camminare sui tacchi alti danno quel po' di altezza che mi manca quando cammino con un paio di sneakers. Sono contenta di averle prese anche in total black perché in questo modo posso facilmente abbinarle. Guardatele in dettaglio nella foto sottostante !.

In these pics I am wearing a silver chain with extra large heart tag charm from Tiffany, a classic I never stop loving !. Bracelets are from Tiffany, Fope and the studded one is from Asos. The watch is Michael Kors and even tho I have a few watches, I keep wearing this one, I love it too much !.
Nail polish is from OPI...a friend told me I should stop it with all those dark nail polishes...maybe he's right but I have to confess I ended up buying a black Dior nail polish this afternoon (it's called DIVA)...if buying dark nail polishes is a crime, I plead guilty, just as guilty as I am of dreaming of a life in Paris or in New York !.

Nelle foto indosso una collana in argento con cuore extra large di Tiffany, un classico che non smette mai di piacermi !. I bracciali sono di Tiffany, di Fope e quello borchiato è di Asos. L'orologio è Michael Kors e sebbene abbia diversi orologi, continuo ad usare questo perché mi piace troppo !.
Lo smalto è di OPI...un amico mi ha detto che dovrei smetterla di usare tutti questi smalti scuri...forse ha ragione ma devo confessare che oggi pomeriggio ho comprato uno smalto di Dior di colore nero (si chiama DIVA)...se comprare smalti scuri è un crimine, mi dichiaro senza indugi colpevole, proprio quanto sono colpevole di sognare di vivere a Parigi o a New York !.

Lemaré wedge sneakers

The wedge sneakers trend is so hot right now, it all started from Isabel Marant "Beckett" shoes, now they seem to be everywhere. I am a lover of high heels and I must confess I'd rather invest all the money that Marant's cost in a pair of Louboutins, but I wanted to try the new trend and have a good looking pair of wedge sneakers myself.
I had to wait a bit before finding the perfect wedge sneakers for myself and I found them in these ones from Lemaré...they are hand made in Italy, they are pretty and so very comfy !.

Le sneakers con plateau interno sono molto di moda, tutto è iniziato con le scarpe modello "Beckett" di Isabel Marant e ora sembrano essere un po' ovunque, diversi brand si sono cimentati nella produzione di scarpe del genere. Io sono un'amante dei tacchi alti e devo confessare che preferirei investire tutti i soldi che mi costerebbero un paio di Marant in un paio di Louboutin, ma volevo comunque provare il nuovo trend con un paio di scarpe che fossero ben fatte e belle da vedere.
Ho trovato la perfetta alternativa nelle Lemaré...sono tutte fatte a mano in Italia, molto belle e sono comodissime !.

You can order Lemaré sneakers directly from the brand's Ebay store, they came to me so fastly ! I went for "Brick" because it's perfect for Fall outfits, with these colors. In these pics I am wearing the shoes with a Burgundy outfit and my new bag, the Marc by Marc Jacobs "Too hot to handle" tote. Do you like it ? I am in love with its color and the smoothness of the leather of this bag and I can already see myself bringing with me with many different outfits !.

Potete ordinare le sneakers Lemaré direttamente dal negozio Ebay del brand, mi sono arrivate molto velocemente ! Ho scelto il modello "Brick" perché l'ho trovato perfetto per gli outfit autunnali, con questi colori non troppo accesi. Nelle foto ho abbinato le scarpe con un outfit tutto giocato sul "Burgundy" e la mia nuova borsa, la tote "Too hot to handle" di Marc by Marc Jacobs, vi piace ? Io mi sono innamorata del colore e della morbidezza del pellame di questa borsa e posso già supporre che la porterò con me con molti outfit diversi !.

These pics were taken in lovely Bruneck, during my holidays on the mountains of South Tyrol. The air was fresh and chilly and I had to bring a few scarves and heavy jackets with me ! I was actually happy about it, I don't regret Summer's end...bring it on Autumn ! I also got myself a new pair of sunnies (well, they are another birthday present ;)), these ones from Dolce e Gabbana, they're a bit different from all the sunglasses I got - I tend to buy similar ones ! I am loving the burgundy color and also the new lipstick from Chanel - Rouge Coco n. 45 - Caractère. I usually don't wear dark lipsticks and this one was a true surprise, it's not too dark at all and it's very longlasting !.

Queste foto sono state scattate nella deliziosa Brunico, durante la mia appena trascorsa vacanza tra le montagne del Sud Tirolo ! L'aria era pulita e fresca e ho dovuto portare con me qualche sciarpa e la giacca pesante ! Ne sono stata felice, non rimpiango l'Estate...sono felice per l'arrivo dell'Autunno !. Ho anche un paio di occhiali da sole nuovi (beh, sono un altro regalo di compleanno ;)), sono di Dolce e Gabbana, un po' diversi dai soliti occhiali da sole che ho - ho la tendenza a comprarne sempre di simili !. Amo il "vinaccio" o burgundy e anche il nuovo rossetto di Chanel - Rouge Coco n. 45 - Caractère. Solitamente non amo portare rossetti scuri e questo è stata una vera sorpresa, non è affatto troppo scuro e dura parecchio sulle labbra !.
