Comfy outfit with my first Ariat boots: my review of Ariat Elastic calf western boots

An ethnic print cardigan and my new Ariat boots are both great for a cozy and comfy western style outfit. I was excited to try the famous Ariat boots; Ariat is a very popular brand in the USA, it has a long history of producing some of the most technologically innovative footwear for internationally known equestrian athletes. This is the first pair I own and I went for this Heritage Elastic calf western boot. I wanted something both simple and wearable and for a change I didn't go for a snip toe, these boots have a sligthly oval toe. The western stitching in a rust color is adorable and the leather is very supple and smooth. Comfy, sturdy, so far I am loving my first pair...and I know it won't be the last!. I have slim calves but these ones have elastic panels so that they can adapt even to bigger calves, so if you have problems these ones are also for you! So comfy and easy to pull in.

Un cardigan a stampa etnica e i miei nuovi stivali Ariat sono entrambi perfetti per un outfit western e comodo. Non vedevo l'ora di provare i famosi stivali Ariat; Ariat è un brand molto popolare negli USA, ha una lunga storia nel produrre calzature tecnologicamente avanzate anche per gli sport equestri. Questo è il mio primo paio e ho scelto questo stivale Heritage Elastic calf western boot. Volevo qualcosa che fosse sia semplice e portabile e per cambiare non ho scelto uno stivale a punta, questi hanno una punta ovale. Il ricamo western in color ruggine è adorabile e la pelle è molto morbida e liscia. Sono comodi, solidi, li sto amando...e so già che non saranno il mio unico paio!. Io ho polpacci snelli ma se avete problemi con gli stivali, questi sono in pelle elastica quindi si adattano anche a chi ha polpacci più importanti. Ve li consiglio! Comodi e facili da indossare.

I fell totally in love with this black boater hat with golden conchos, it's perfect for my rockstar style outfits, for my western style ones but it's gonna look great also on a simple black coat this winter. In this cowgirl look, I styled it on a white top, ripped Levi's 501 as shorts and a pair of fun, eyecatching cowgirl boots.

Aria da rockstar e stile western vanno spesso insieme, e ancora di più con questo bellissimo cappello Celestial Boater del brand australiano Lack of Color. Mi sono completamente innamorata di questo cappello da barcaiolo nero con applicazioni dorate, è perfetto per i miei outfit da rockstar, per quelli più western ma starà benissimo anche su un semplice cappotto nero questo inverno. In questo look da cowgirl, l'ho abbinato a top bianco, pantaloncini creati da Levi's 501 e un paio di simpaticamente vistosi stivali da cowgirl.

How to wear a total black western look? Let's go total black! Well, black is already a badass color, and I must confess as a fan of vivid colors I have been starting to crave more black lately. My western style look was very quickly built with this asymmetrical ruffled dress, my new leather Zara bag, a maxi buckled belt and black Sonora boots. You know me anyway, I had to add a touch of color with a pair of green sunglasses and a jeans shirt worn as jacket ;)

Andiamo sul total black! Beh, il nero è già un colore bello strong, e devo confessare che, da grande fan dei colori, mi sta tornando una grande voglia di nero. Il mio look stile weatern è stato veloce da comporre con questo abito asimmetrico con riccio, una nuova borsa in pelle presa da Zara, un cinturone con fibbia e i miei boots Sonora. Mi conoscete però, un tocco di colore ci voleva e allora ho optato per occhiali da sole verdi e una camicia jeans indossata come giacca ;)

A casual 80s inspired look with a floral padded jacket is today's outfit. Big, floral padded jackets are a big trend. I had fallen in love with a super expensive Gucci maxi padded jacket (see below) and I have found a cheap alternative in this Naf Naf bomber jacket. I wore it with Levi's 501 jeans, chunky sneakers and a fun teddy bear sweater.

L'ho indossato su jeans Levi's 501, sneakers chunky e un divertente maglione con orsetto.

The 90s logomania trend is back: everybody's crazy about sporting logos after years of minimalism. The monogram cult invaded the runaways and suddenly it's ok again to wear clothes with big logos on them. I was playing with this logo trend with my denim suit composed of Levi's denim jeans and jacket. I kept it very 90s with my white Fila Disruptor sneakers, chunky sneakers that are everywhere right now.

Il trend anni '90 della logomania è tornato: tutti vanno pazzi per i loghi esibiti dopo anni di minimalismo. Il culto del monogramma ha invaso le passerelle e improvvisamente è di nuovo ok indossare abiti con grandi loghi stampati. Ho voluto giocare con questo trend del logo con questo completo in denim composto da jeans e giubbino. Ho esasperato il look anni '90 con le sneakers bianche Fila Disruptor, sneakers voluminose che sono ovunque adesso.

A double breasted check coat, with an oversized cut, is the key piece in this casual daytime outfit. This is a very "streetstyle" look, featuring this Metisu coat, in a warm wool blend, worn with denim pants and a cozy sweater. The coffee color is quite neutral, so there are many ways to wear this beautiful coat. I added my Miss Sicily Dolce & Gabbana bag in royal blue, a pair of leopard print Adidas sneakers, and my Audrey Céline sunglasses. One of my latest purchases was this furry baseball hat, a stylish piece I have found in a small shop during my sales hunting.

Un cappotto doppio petto, dal taglio oversize, è il capo chiave in questo outfit casual da giorno. Si tratta di un look molto "streetstyle", con questo cappotto di Metisu, in caldo misto lana, indossato con un paio di jeans e un bel maglione. Il color caffé è abbastanza neutro, per cui ci sono molti abbinamenti possibili. Ho scelto la borsa Miss Sicily Dolce & Gabbana in blu elettrico, un paio di sneakers leopardate Adidas e i miei occhiali da sole Céline modello Audrey. Uno dei miei ultimi acquisti è stato questo cappellino da baseball "peloso", un pezzo stiloso scovato in un negozietto durante la mia caccia ai saldi.

Flare jeans and bell bottom pants in general are a hot trend this season, and even a lover of skinny and boyfriend jeans like I am couldn't help sporting a flared jeans look ! In this new outfit I am wearing my Levi's flare jeans with a colorful striped cotton top, for a modern and yet hippy chic style. Stripes are also dominating the fashion scene, and this cotton blend blouse a fun add to my bellbottoms, especially because I paired it with a lovely statement necklace from Zaful. How to style flares without exaggerating with a vintage effect means also choosing the right accessories, and so I did by wearing pointed stiletto heels from Dolce & Gabbana and sporting my Givenchy Nightingale bag.

I jeans a zampa e i pantaloni scampanati in generale sono molto di moda questa stagione, ed anche una fan di jeans skinny e boyfriend come me non ha resistito a sfoggiare un look con pantaloni a campana ! In questo nuovo outfit indosso un paio di pantaloni a zampa Levi's con una blusa in cotone a righe, per uno stile moderno e anche hippy chic. Le righe dominano la scena anche quest'anno, e questa blusa aggiunge un tocco particolare a questo look, ancora di più con la statement necklace presa su Zaful. Come abbinare jeans a zampa evitando un effetto troppo vintage significa scegliere gli accessori giusti, ed io ho puntato su scarpe dal tacco a spillo e a punta, di Dolce & Gabbana, e sulla mia borsa Givenchy Nightingale. 

80s are back: Plaid shirt, Chelsea boots

Today's outfit takes us back to the 80s, with my vintage Levi's 501 jeans and a cute bag shaped as an audio cassette. A jump in a decade I like a lot, when things seemed easier and pop music was at its best. An eye to the past and one to present time, with a couple of season trends: the check shirt, for a lumberjack chic inspiration, a faux fur vest, and a pair of trendy Chelsea boots  at my feet. A comfy look deserving a mixtape of 80s pop songs in the background ! ;-)

L'outfit di oggi ci riporta agli anni '80, con i miei jeans Levi's 501 ed una carinissima borsa che riproduce una musicassetta. Un salto in una decade che amo molto, quando nell'aria c'era un maggiore ottimismo e la musica pop sfornava i pezzi migliori. Un occhio al passato ed uno al presente, con alcuni dei trend di stagione: la camicia a quadri, per una ispirazione "boscaiola chic", un gilet in pellicciotto ed un paio di super trendy Chelsea boots ai piedi. Un look comodo, da portare con un mix di canzoni pop anni 80 in sottofondo !.

Tourist style: Mickey Mouse tee

Hey guys, how are you ? Come on, don't be sad if you got back to work: just take it slowly ! I am on holidays, instead, and I am in a pretty lazy mood, I feel like having fun, having a walk and a chat in total freedom, knowing I have time to waste, see what I mean ?. An easy mood, just like the one of today's outfit, a casual and simple one with a pair of vintage Levi's 501 jeans, my glittered Converse sneakers and a t-shirt with Mickey Mouse. Because we're never too old to love Mickey Mouse, right ? :-)

Ciao a tutti, come state ? Su, via quei musi lunghi...lo so che molti di voi sono già tornati al lavoro: mi raccomando, prendetevela comoda ! Io sono in ferie e mi sento piuttosto pigra, ovvero ho voglia di divertirmi, di fare una passeggiata, di chiacchierare senza costrizioni di sorta, voglio avere del tempo "da sprecare", capite cosa intendo ?. Un mood molto easy, come quello dell'outfit di oggi, casual e semplice con un paio di Levi's 501 vintage, le Converse glitterate ed una t-shirt con Topolino. Perché non si è mai troppo vecchi per amare Topolino, giusto ? :-)

Countryside chic

Finally, a sunny day, even if the air turned fresh again I can smell Spring and when a day like this occurs, I am likely to need a comfortable, relaxed outfit, to take things easy in a period of hectic work. An outfit like that always includes a pair of jeans, comfortable sneakers, a roomy bag and something fancy as top and jacket, to keep it comfy and chic: the perfect recipe for a day spent outside, especially if I, usually a seaside girl, make a change and spend it in the countryside !.

Finalmente un bel giorno di sole, anche se l'aria si è rinfrescata parecchio la Primavera è arrivata, e quando capita una giornata del genere, mi capita di aver bisogno di un look comodo e rilassato, per prendermela comoda. Un outfit del genere include sempre un paio di jeans, sneakers comode, una borsa capiente e qualcosa di particolare da indossare come top e come giacca, per mantenersi comode ma chic: è la ricetta che preferisco per godermi una giornata rilassante, specialmente se trascorsa, io che sono una "ragazza di mare", in aperta campagna !.
