Cocks on my dress! Dear readers, bear with me. I am very busy at the moment trying to finish my thesis to get my second Uni degree, I have a job and in spite of my natural attitude to live my life partying and shopping like a heiress, I have things to attend to. Besides, to be bluntly honest, if I have one hour of spare time, I'll turn Netflix on and binge watch my favorite tv series. I have been spending my blogging hours writing law stuff, that's why I have been pretty much offline from socials and such, but I will be back in full force asap. I thought about posting something cool, and this dress was my choice, I wore it on my birthday together with a pair of Valentino Rockstuds. Are Rockstuds still in style? The answer is definitely yes, they have become iconic shoes and are sold in many colors and also kinds of leather. They are an investment (better not to buy cheap Valentino Rockstud dupes as it's totally another thing) and also a comfy choice, plus they don't suffer from the 7th year crisis, as they were born in 2010.

Galli sul mio abito! Cari lettori, sopportatemi. Sono molto occupata al momento cercando di finire la mia tesi per la seconda laurea, ho un lavoro e nonostante la mia naturale propensione a vivere di shopping e party come farebbe un'ereditiera, ho cose da fare. E a dirvela tutta, se ho un'ora libera, mi dedico a Netflix per guardare le mie serie tv preferite. Sto dedicando le mie ore di blogging a scritti di diritto, ecco perché sto spesso offline e lontana da social e affini, ma tornerò a pieno regime presto. Ho pensato di postare qualcosa di cool, e questo abito è stata la mia scelta, l'ho indossato per il mio compleanno insieme a un paio di Rockstud Valentino. Sono ancora di moda le Rockstud Valentino? La risposta è ovviamente sì, ormai sono diventate scarpe iconiche e vengono prodotte in tanti colori glam e anche in diversi tipi di pellame. Decisamente sono un investimento (meglio non prendere le scarpe imitazione Valentino Rockstud, è tutta un'altra cosa) e sono anche comode, non soffrono la crisi del settimo anno, essendo "nate" nel 2010.

Yet another chic bon ton outfit with a floral dress and timeless accessories. This adorable floral short sleeved dress is another found I made on OVS website, and another Gucci fashion tribute (remember my look with pleated skirt and pink shirt ?). I love it when dresses are so easy to wear, just a couple of accessories and you are all set !. This dress with a bow on the neck and elastic waist has the perfect knee length that makes it suitable for many occasions, including work. I kept it chic and my timeless pieces: my Chanel 2.55 classic flap bag in caviar leather and Valentino Rockstud heels in patent leather. I added a small Miu Miu belt on the dress - I often do it when they have an elastic waistline  - that seemed born for it !

Ecco un altro outfit chic e bon ton con un abito floreale e accessori senza tempo. Questo adorabile abito a fiori a maniche corte è un'altra scoperta fatta sul sito di OVS, e un altro tributo alla moda di Gucci (ricordate il mio look con gonna a pieghe e camicia rosa ?). Amo quando i vestiti sono così facili da indossare, bastano un paio di accessori e sono pronta !. Questo abito con fiocco sul collo ed elastico in vita ha la perfetta lunghezza al ginocchio che lo rende adatto a molte occasioni, incluso il lavoro. L'ho reso ancora più chic con accessori senza tempo: la mia borsa Chanel 2.55 classic flap in pelle caviar e la scarpe Valentino Rockstud in vernice nera. Ho aggiunto anche una piccola cintura Miu Miu sull'abito - lo faccio spesso quando hanno l'elastico in vita - che sembrava nata per lui !

Today's outfit is ladylike and very inspired by Gucci's romantic and nostalgic collection for Spring/Summer 2016. So much has been said on Alessandro Michele's revamp of Gucci style, and this collection was so powerful that it obviously had a strong impact on many fashion choices we make, also on low cost brands. I found these two signature items, clearly inspired by Gucci style, the chiffon and lace shirt in light pink, and the midi pleated skirt, shopping online on OVS - the largest italian fast fashion retailer - website, and it made my day. As readers of this fashion blog know, I love to mix designer pieces with affordable ones, and in general I prefer to invest on accessories. With OVS I found the right balance between trendy clothing, affordable price and quality and I picked this lovely blouse with a neck-bow with a high waisted red pleated midi skirt this time without going to any OVS shops, from the comfort of my home. My OVS online shopping experience was fast and flawless, I can say perfect. I completed my Gucci inspired outfit with a Gucci (what else ?) crossbody bag and my pink Valentino Rockstuds for a glamorous outcome.

E' stato detto tanto su questa ristrutturazione dello stile Gucci effettuata da Alessandro Michele, e questa collezione è stata così potente da avere un forte impatto su quelle che sono le nostre scelte fashion, anche quelle dei brand low cost. Ho scovato questi due capi simbolo, chiaramente ispirati allo stile Gucci, ovvero la camicia in chiffon e pizzo in rosa chiaro e la gonna plissé midi, facendo shopping online sul sito OVS -  il più grande distributore di  fast fashion italiano -  e ne sono stata molto felice.
