My Gucci inspired outfit with low cost choices: chiffon and lace shirt with midi pleated skirt

Today's outfit is ladylike and very inspired by Gucci's romantic and nostalgic collection for Spring/Summer 2016. So much has been said on Alessandro Michele's revamp of Gucci style, and this collection was so powerful that it obviously had a strong impact on many fashion choices we make, also on low cost brands. I found these two signature items, clearly inspired by Gucci style, the chiffon and lace shirt in light pink, and the midi pleated skirt, shopping online on OVS - the largest italian fast fashion retailer - website, and it made my day. As readers of this fashion blog know, I love to mix designer pieces with affordable ones, and in general I prefer to invest on accessories. With OVS I found the right balance between trendy clothing, affordable price and quality and I picked this lovely blouse with a neck-bow with a high waisted red pleated midi skirt this time without going to any OVS shops, from the comfort of my home. My OVS online shopping experience was fast and flawless, I can say perfect. I completed my Gucci inspired outfit with a Gucci (what else ?) crossbody bag and my pink Valentino Rockstuds for a glamorous outcome.

L'outfit di oggi è ladylike e si ispira alla collezione romantica e nostalgica Gucci per la Primavera/Estate 2016. E' stato detto tanto su questa ristrutturazione dello stile Gucci effettuata da Alessandro Michele, e questa collezione è stata così potente da avere un forte impatto su quelle che sono le nostre scelte fashion, anche quelle dei brand low cost. Ho scovato questi due capi simbolo, chiaramente ispirati allo stile Gucci, ovvero la camicia in chiffon e pizzo in rosa chiaro e la gonna plissé midi, facendo shopping online sul sito OVS -  il più grande distributore di  fast fashion italiano -  e ne sono stata molto felice. Come i lettori di questo fashion blog sanno, adoro mischiare capi di lusso con altri più accessibili, e in generale preferisco sempre investire sugli accessori. Con OVS ho trovato il giusto compromesso tra capi trendy, dal prezzo accessibile e qualità e ho scelto questa adorabile blusa con nastro al collo da indossare con la gonna rossa midi a vita alta, questa volta, senza recarmi in uno dei tanti punti vendita, comodamente da casa. La mia shopping experience online con OVS è stata facile e veloce, perfetta direi. Ho completato il mio outfit Gucci inspired con una tracollina Gucci (ovviamente !) e con le mie Rockstud Valentino rosa per un risultato glamorous.

It's time to introduce you to my red adidas Supercolor sneakers, with a casual outfit I wore when the weather got worse: the air went fresh, also because of the rain. These trendy adidas Originals superstar are really easy to combine with my casual looks, and I already told you I have them in four different colors: I couldn't miss a red pair, but don't ask me where to find adidas Supercolor again, because it seems they are sold out everywhere, Pharrell Williams can be happy about this collaboraton !. I wore a light blue pair of jeans with a simple black sweatshirt, and added a few statement pieces, like my necklace from Zaful, that I also have in another color, and I had the chance to wear my Zara leopard coat, an old piece that is one of the favorites of mine (and also yours, since I keep getting e-mail from people wanting to buy it from me !).

E' giunto il momento di presentarvi le mie sneakers adidas Supercolor rosse, con un outfit casual indossato quando il meteo ha avuto un peggioramento: l'aria si è rinfrescata, anche a causa della pioggia. Queste superstar adidas Originals sono facilmente abbinabili a look casual, e vi ho già detto di averle in quattro diversi colori: il rosso non poteva mancare, ma non chiedetemi dove trovare le adidas Supercolor ormai, perché pare siano sold out ovunque, Pharrell Williams può dirsi soddisfatto di questa collaborazione !. Ho indossato un paio di jeans chiarissimi con una semplice maglia nera, con qualche aggiunta particolare, come la collana Zaful, che ho anche in un altro colore, inoltre ho indossato il mio vecchio cappottino leopardato Zara, uno dei miei capi preferiti (ed anche vostri, visto che ho ricevuto molte richieste di acquisto via e-mail !). 

Outfit: dress nice on a budget

You don't need to spend a fortune to dress up nicely, this is what I think. Nowadays, there is plenty of choice out there and we can find nice dresses and clothes at reasonable prices. 

I like to invest in statement, luxury and designer pieces from time to time, but since I also like to change style very often, and I love to dress nice finding something cute in low cost stores !.

Dressing nice on a budget is possible, especially if we have the right accessories: it is the case with this outfit: the dress I am wearing costed me less than 10 € at H&M and the cute pink jacket was on sale at Zara for 25 €. A nice low cost look that I spiced up with some cool accessories, as I like ! 

Non occorre spendere una fortuna per vestire bene, lo penso davvero. Oggigiorno, c'è così tanta scelta nei negozi ed è possibile trovare tante cose carine, che siano abitini o altro, a prezzi vantaggiosi. 

Mi piace investire in capi di marca, di lusso e di designer ogni tanto, ma dato che amo anche cambiare spesso stile, non disdegno gli acquisti low cost !. Mi piace tanto scovare capi carini a prezzi stracciati e giocare ad abbinarli. Vestire bene con poco è possibile, specialmente se si hanno gli accessori giusti: è il caso di questo outfit, costruito su due pezzi oltremodo economici: l'abitino di H&M che indosso mi è costato meno di 10 euro e la giacchina rosa era in saldo da Zara a circa 25 euro. Un bel look low cost che ho provveduto ad accessoriare come piace a me !. 

50s style mint lace dress

Hey everyone ! A long weekend is waiting for us and I am so happy about it, I need it !. I am not going anywhere in particular this time, but I am just happy to be able to take things a bit slowly, enjoying little things ! Let's celebrate the weekend traveling only...in time, with a vintage 50s style outfit, thanks to this lace midi dress with red strips I found on Chicwish, my little red "Bonjour" crossbody bag and one of my favorite necklaces for Spring/Summer 2014 from Sodini bijoux.

Ciao a tutti ! Ci aspetta un weekend lungo e ne sono molto felice, ne avevo bisogno !. Non andrò in nessun posto in particolare questa volta, ma sono già soddisfatta di poter rallentare con i ritmi, godendomi le piccole cose ! Celebriamo il weekend viaggiando solo...nel tempo, con un outfit un po' stile vintage anni 50, grazie a questo abitino in pizzo menta a lunghezza midi, con inserti in rosso, trovato su Chicwish, la mia tracollina rossa "Bonjour" ed una delle mie collane preferite della collezione Primavera/Estate 2014 Sodini bijoux.

Trend alert: pink coat

Who said winter is only meant for dark colors ? Especially thanks to one of the hottest trends for this season, pink is the wat to go...and I've been hunting for a pastel pink coat for quite a long time before picking this Zara one. I love it, I like the contrast between the masculine cut and the very feminine soft pink color ! It's perfect with black and with both elegant and casual looks. It is definately a trend I love, and you ? Are you going to give pink a chance into your cold winter days, just like me ?.

Chi ha detto che l'inverno comporta solo abbigliamento in colori scuri ? Specialmente grazie ad uno dei trend più in voga, è il momento del rosa...ed ho cercato un cappotto rosa pastello per diverso tempo prima di scegliere questo, di Zara. Lo adoro, mi piace il contrasto tra il taglio maschile e il colore prettamente femminile !. E' perfetto con il nero ed adatto a look sia eleganti che più casual. Mi piace molto questo trend, e voi che mi dite ? Darete, come me, una chance al rosa nelle vostre fredde giornate invernali ?.

Hey everyone ! A walk on a very cloudy day and...it was finally time for a new outfit post, featuring an eclectic look that has a bit of different things: the preppy side plus a boho and a grunge inspiration ! I just mixed and matched a few elements, all starting from my denim maxi skirt and my flower print Dr Martens shoes. I sure had fun creating this look even tho it was hard to define, it was just "me" !.

How are you doing ? I've been pretty stressed and busy at work and this crazy weather is making things worse with all these changes...anyway, yesterday we had one day of sun and it didn't rain for a few hours, the air got a bit warmer and it almost felt like true Springtime...pure bliss ! I was so happy because I attended the wedding of a dear friend, and therefore the sun was highly needed !. Here are the pics of the outfit I wore for the (daytime) wedding.

Io sono molto occupata in questi giorni, e il meteo pazzerello non aiuta l'umore, continuando con i suoi sbalzi...comunque, ieri si è deciso ad accordarci una tregua e non ha piovuto per qualche ora, facendoci quasi illudere di essere davvero in Primavera...ne sono stata molto felice perché ero invitata al matrimonio di una cara amica, e il sole era un requisito indispensabile ! Ecco le foto dell'outfit che ho indossato per l'occasione (il matrimonio era di giorno).

A windy afternoon and a pleasant walk by the sea with hubby. I was in a holiday mood, because it I had just spent two days off from work - sometimes even a couple of days can do so much for your inner peace, just to recharge a bit !.

I decided to go for this blue centered outfit wearing Insight indigo baroque print pants and a denim shirt from Zara. A relaxing blue centered outfit featuring nude pumps.

Un pomeriggio ventoso e una piacevole passeggiata vicino al mare con mio marito. Mi sentivo in modalità vacanziera, in quanto il fine settimana si univa a ben due giorni di ferie - a volte anche pochi giorni possono significare molto per staccare e rilassarsi un po' !. 

Ho scelto un outfit incentrato sul blu indossando pantaloni a stampa barocca indaco di Insight Denim ed una camicia jeans di Zara. Un outfit blu rilassante con pumps neutre.

Usually cat eye Sunglasses suit my face shape pretty well, so when I picked those up I was almost sure those frames would look nice. This time I went for a pale color, also cause I have plenty of dark colored sunglasses and I needed a change !. Stella McCartney 4038 Sunglasses turned out being a great choice, they also have them in other colors !.

Solitamente, gli occhiali dalla forma un po' retrò, "da gatta", stanno bene con la forma del mio viso, per cui ordinandoli online ero quasi sicura di non avere brutte soprese. Ho scelto un paio di occhiali dalla montatura chiara anche per cambiare un po', dato che di occhiali scuri ne ho già tanti ed inoltre amo questa tonalità di rosa.

It seems that the leather sleeved jackets trend is here to stay, together with the aztec print one, and I am happy about it. Sure, everytime I enter into Zara I am tempted by so many things, I just can't help it !. I've been wearing layers of clothes under this coat because the air is still too chilly, the coat is not very warm, not to my standards however ! Spring, where are you ? I need you !.

Pare che la moda delle giacche con maniche in pelle (o eco-pelle) sia quì per restare, stessa cosa per la stampa azteca, e a me non dispiace affatto. Di sicuro, ogni volta che entro da Zara è un attentato alle mie finanze, con gli arrivi continui, non resisto proprio !.
Indossavo strati di maglie sotto al cappotto di Zara, non è abbastanza caldo per queste temperature, e non per i miei standard, comunque. Primavera, dove sei ? Ho bisogno di te !!!.
