This checked ruffled maxi dress is the perfect summer country chic piece and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. My favorite color when it comes to picking up clothes - red - and a fun dress with ruffles, perfect also for my country western nights and romantic and girly for daytime. I wore it with my Baldinini western mules I own in two different colors: eye catching, unique, beautiful. I added a small Moschino bag and a hat, as well as a western style waist belt.

70s vibes with a red velvet maxi dress and sock heels were my latest outfit choice. Yes, as I told you in a previous post I haven't been going out as much as I usually do because I am still working on my thesis, but when I had the chance to go out I had to wear my new Metisu dress and these lovely golden sock boots from Le Silla. Maxi dresses are great also for daytime and this one could also be a nice party and holiday dress, right? The fabric is soft and the dress feels great, I can already imagine myself styling it in many other ways!

Come vi ho detto in un post procedente, non sto uscendo spesso come al solito perché sto ancora lavorando alla mia tesi, ma non vedevo l'ora di indossare il mio nuovo abito Metisu e questi adorabili stivaletti calza dorati di Le Silla. I maxi abiti sono ottimi per il giorno ma questo potrebbe essere anche un fantastico abito da festa e da vacanze, giusto? La stoffa è morbida e confortevole e posso già immaginare altri modi di abbinarlo!

Lace has become a real must have, even as a Fall trend. It is indeed a very versatile fabric, perfect either for a party or cocktail dress but also mixed up with casual elements for a daytime look. You can hardly fail with a little lace dress, and this blue lace dress from Metisu is a new add in my closet. I will be layering it with a leather jacket and, later, with a light coat, to follow the latest trends and make it weather appropriate since it's getting fresher. It's a feminine, a-line, lovely dress that I wore with new pumps from Giancarlo Paoli Fall/Winter 2017-2018 collection.

Il pizzo è diventato un vero must have, anche come trend per l'autunno. E' infatti un tessuto molto versatile, perfetto sia per un abito da party o da cocktail che utilizzato con altri capi casual per un look da giorno. Raramente sbaglierete con un abitino in pizzo, e questo abito in pizzo blu di Metisu è una nuova aggiunta nel mio guardaroba. Lo abbinerò con una giacca in pelle e, in seguito, con un cappottino, per seguire gli ultimi trend e renderlo appropriato alle temperature che si vanno rinfrescando. E' un abito femminile, svasato, delizioso che ho indossato con nuove décolleté dalla collezione autunno/inverno 2017-2018 Giancarlo Paoli.

A simple color scheme - mostly black and bronze - for a trendy and easy daytime look. I love quote sweatshirts, and this one is funny because it jokes about everyday's annoying problems. We all have many issues, probably more than Vogue, but the most important thing is to face them with the right attitude, right?

Un semplice schema di colore - incentrato sul nero e sul color bronzo - per un look da giorno trendy e facile. Adoro le felpe con le scritte, e questa è divertente perché gioca sui problemi fastidiosi che tutti hanno. Tutti hanno delle questioni da risolvere, probabilmente più numerose dei numeri di Vogue, ma la cosa più importante è affrontarle con il giusto atteggiamento, no?

A vintage inspired marine look on my fashion blog with today's striped outfit. A simple red striped short dress, a pearl necklace and a headband for a day by the sea, when the weather was still windy and the air was fresh, hence I was wearing tights. Since I like the contamination between different styles, I chose a pair of glitter boots, comfortable and suitable to walk on the cobblestones. Stripes are such a hot trend for Spring-Summer 2016 and I am so happy about it...either horizontal or vertical, colorful or black and white, I love them !.

Un look di ispirazione vintage e marinaro sul mio fashion blog con l'outfit a righe di oggi. Un semplice abito corto rosso a righe, una collana di perle e un cerchietto a fascia per una giornata al  mare, quando era ancora ventoso e l'aria era piuttosto fresca, per cui portavo le calze. Dato che amo la contaminazione tra stili diversi, ho scelto un paio di stivaletti glitter, comodi e adatti a camminare sui ciottoli. Le righe sono un trend che va molto per la primavera-estate 2016, e io ne sono felicissima...verticali, orizzontali, coloratissime o in bianco e nero, le amo !.

Happy Valentines day, everyone ! This is a day to celebrate the love in our lives, so, either you are happily in a couple or a single, let's stop for a second to cherish what we have. I don't need many persons in my life, but the ones I have are too precious, I am grateful for every moment spent with them, and I have to say since the loss of my beloved granma I learned to appreciate my loved ones even more. What are you up to, tonight ? I am going out to dinner with hubby - something we often indulge in ! I am definately missing both Sanremo Festival finale and Fifty Shades of Grey movie, so hubby is happy, LOL. This is not only lovers day anyway, since this is a fashion blog, it's also time for a new outfit. This time, as the brave fashion blogger I am, I explored the russian doll trend, with a mixture of rich printswith a deep wine red blouse and a rococo roses intarsia midi skirt, both from Chicwish. I added a faux fur jacket and my Mohekann clutch for a luxe babushka mood, and wore my front lace up boots from Roberto Botticelli, from a few seasons ago. 

San Valentino e lo stile bambola russa sul mio fashion blog

Buon San Valentino a tutti ! Questo è un giorno adatto a celebrare l'amore che c'è nelle nostre vite, pertanto, sia se siamo felicemente in coppia che single, fermiamoci un attimo a pensare a tutto ciò di buono che abbiamo. Non ho bisogno di tante persone nella mia vita, ma quelle che amo sono troppo preziose, sono grata per ogni istante trascorso con loro, e vi confesso che dalla scomparsa della mia adorata nonna ho imparato ad apprezzare chi amo ancora di più. Cosa farete stasera ? Io andrò a cena col maritino - a dire il vero, un'attività alla quale ci dedichiamo spesso ! Ci perderemo sia la Finale del Festival di Sanremo che 50 sfumature di grigio al cinema, pertanto mio marito può dirsi già soddisfatto, LOL. Questo comunque non è solo il giorno degli innamorati, ma, dato che questo è un fashion blog, è anche il momento per un nuovo outfit. Questa volta, da fashion blogger coraggiosa, ho voluto esplorare il trend bambola russa, con un misto di stampe e tessuti dato da una blusa di un bel rosso borgogna e la midi skirt a rose rococo, entrambi di Chicwish. Ho aggiunto un giacchino in ecopelliccia e la mia clutch Mohekann per accentuare il mood babushka di lusso, mentre ai piedi ho calzato un paio di stivali allacciati Roberto Botticelli di qualche stagione fa.

Red sequin dress

Do you like to sparkle a little bit ? I sure do, especially but not only for party time I like all things shimmering and sequin fabrics like the one of this mini dress from british brand Poppy Lux. I love the tunic shape and the shade of dark rusty red of those little sequins, very suitable for a real rockstar outfit, enriched with a lovely golden necklace with a big blue stone, courtesy of Accessorize. If you scroll down you can see how I layered this look with a super cute cardigan and my faux fur black coat. Also, I decided to sport my new ankle boots from Roberto Boticelli for the first time, ready for the dance floor but, also, for...office meetings !.

Vi piace scintillare un po' ? A me sicuramente sì, specialmente - ma non solo - nei giorni di festa mi piacciono tutte le cose luminose e intessute di paillettes, come questo mini abito del brand inglese Poppy Lux. Mi piace il taglio a tunica e la tonalità di rosso scuro tendente al ruggine di queste piccole paillettes, che si prestano ad un outfit da vera rockstar, arricchito da una collana dorata con maxi pietra blu, graditissima sopresa di Accessorize. Nelle foto successive, potete vedere come ho "stratificato" il look con un carinissimo cardigan ed il mio eco-pellicciotto nero. Ai piedi, i miei nuovi stivaletti Roberto Botticelli, calzati per la prima volta, adatti sia alla pista da ballo che...alle riunioni in ufficio !.

80s are back: Plaid shirt, Chelsea boots

Today's outfit takes us back to the 80s, with my vintage Levi's 501 jeans and a cute bag shaped as an audio cassette. A jump in a decade I like a lot, when things seemed easier and pop music was at its best. An eye to the past and one to present time, with a couple of season trends: the check shirt, for a lumberjack chic inspiration, a faux fur vest, and a pair of trendy Chelsea boots  at my feet. A comfy look deserving a mixtape of 80s pop songs in the background ! ;-)

L'outfit di oggi ci riporta agli anni '80, con i miei jeans Levi's 501 ed una carinissima borsa che riproduce una musicassetta. Un salto in una decade che amo molto, quando nell'aria c'era un maggiore ottimismo e la musica pop sfornava i pezzi migliori. Un occhio al passato ed uno al presente, con alcuni dei trend di stagione: la camicia a quadri, per una ispirazione "boscaiola chic", un gilet in pellicciotto ed un paio di super trendy Chelsea boots ai piedi. Un look comodo, da portare con un mix di canzoni pop anni 80 in sottofondo !.

Merry Christmas to all of you, my lovely readers ! I wish you all the best, a Christmas of joy and love. As most of you, I will be spending this day with my family, eating a lot, relaxing, playing and watching Christmas movies.

My look for the day is easy, a themed sweatshirt, jeans and a bling bling statement necklace.

Also, as you can see below, since I am a huge sunglasses lover, I found out a special pair to wear on Christmas, LOL !. I had to reassure my husband that I wouldn't be wearing them outside of home ;)

Buon Natale a tutti voi, adorabili lettori di questo blog ! Vi auguro ogni bene, un Natale di gioia e amore. Come la maggior parte di voi, trascorrerò questa giornata in famiglia, mangiando più di quanto dovrei, giocando e guardando film natalizi.

Il mio look del giorno è comodo, una felpa a tema natalizio, un jeans ed una collana vistosa e luccicosa.

Inoltre, come potete vedere nella foto sotto, dato che sono una grande appassionata di occhiali da sole, ne ho trovato un paio adatto al Natale, LOL !. Ho dovuto rassicurare mio marito sul fatto che non li avrei indossati fuori casa ;)

Beaded flapper dress

I must confess I have always wanted a flapper dress, to feel a bit like those 20s girls, with their dropped waistline above the kneee beaded dresses that moved as they walked, so when I found this black and red River Island dress on Asos, I decided I would buy it straight away. This is not a dress you can wear everyday or just go buy groceries, but I had a wedding to attend to and I decided it would be my chance to make my 20s dream come true !.

Devo confessare che ho sempre voluto un "flapper dress", per sentirmi un po' come quelle ragazze degli anni '20, con i loro abiti scivolati e al ginocchio, ricchi di ricami e perline che ondeggiavano ad ogni minimo movimento, così quando ho trovato questo abito nero e rosso River Island su Asos ho deciso di comprarlo quasi subito.

Non si tratta di un abito adatto ad ogni occasione, di certo non è il tipico look per uscire a fare la spesa, ma dato che ero invitata ad un matrimonio, ho deciso di rendere realtà proprio in quella occasione il mio sogno anni '20 !.

Trend alert: pink coat

Who said winter is only meant for dark colors ? Especially thanks to one of the hottest trends for this season, pink is the wat to go...and I've been hunting for a pastel pink coat for quite a long time before picking this Zara one. I love it, I like the contrast between the masculine cut and the very feminine soft pink color ! It's perfect with black and with both elegant and casual looks. It is definately a trend I love, and you ? Are you going to give pink a chance into your cold winter days, just like me ?.

Chi ha detto che l'inverno comporta solo abbigliamento in colori scuri ? Specialmente grazie ad uno dei trend più in voga, è il momento del rosa...ed ho cercato un cappotto rosa pastello per diverso tempo prima di scegliere questo, di Zara. Lo adoro, mi piace il contrasto tra il taglio maschile e il colore prettamente femminile !. E' perfetto con il nero ed adatto a look sia eleganti che più casual. Mi piace molto questo trend, e voi che mi dite ? Darete, come me, una chance al rosa nelle vostre fredde giornate invernali ?.

Cute cocktail dress

This outfit is the last one from my holidays serie and it's based on a very cute Yumi cocktail dress with a print featuring tucanos and drinks, a romantic 50s inspired party dress I decided to wear for daytime and therefore I styled with colorful accessories !. A drinks print makes this dress THE real cocktail dress ! ;).

Questo outfit è l'ultimo tra quelli delle vacanze, è incentrato su un abito da cocktail molto carino, di Yumi, con una stampa raffigurante tucani e drinks, un abito da party romantico stile anni '50 che ho deciso di indossare per il pomeriggio e che, per questo, ho abbinato ad accessori colorati !. Una stampa con i drinks fanno di questo abito IL vero abito da cocktail ! ;).

Bird print is one of the fashion trends this year and it's even perfect as a symbol of Spring, so here it is, a simple outfit with this cute Zara bird print shirt and a brand new pair of denims from Liu Jo.

Bi-color pumps are from Fabi and I just love the stiletto heels, so feminine ! I have anything in my shoe closet now...sneakers, loafers, chuncky heels, stilettos, platform and non-platform shoes...I am happy about it because I feel like changing style so often !.
The bag is a no brand bag I bought in a small shop cause I liked the aqua color so much and I thought it was cute !.
Leaves bracelet is from Accessorize and the bangle is from Pull & Bear. I am sporting my new Michael Kors rose gold watch, I know it's gonna be difficult avoiding to wear it from now on !.

Le scarpe bi-colore sono di Fabi e amo il loro tacco a spillo, così femminile ! Ho di tutto nella mia scarpiera adesso...sneakers, mocassini, tacchi grossi, tacchi a spillo, scarpe con o senza plateau...e ne sono felice perché posso cambiare spesso stile !.
La borsa è senza marca e l'ho notata in un negozietto per via del colore, un verde acqua, mi è sembrata molto carina !.
Il bracciale con le foglie è di Accessorize e il bangle semplice è di Pull & Bear. Inoltre, indosso il mio nuovo orologio Michael Kors color oro rosa dal quale sarà ormai difficile separarsi !.
