How to wear fancy clothes for daytime: see how a group of international fashion bloggers - including me - wear elegant  party wear in the day !

Today's post is a little more special than usual ! I had the honor to be invited to take part in The fab 40's, a group of international bloggers aiming to show how different women style a different theme, that changes every month. This time the theme was how to style elegant/evening/fancy wear in the daytime. I chose to go almost monochrome with this blue outfit I built around this jacquard golden rose print midi skirt I had bought on Asos a while ago, to attend a party. The fabric of this skirt features an elegant golden rose pattern on a royal blue background. I wore with a golden top back in the day, and to wear it again in the daytime I added a Yumi lace t-shirt with a bit of see through effect. The mixture of textures and prints turn this feminine outfit with a classic vibe into a more modern one. I admit this outfit it's still quite elegant, as I kept my heels on with these gorgeous made in Italy pumps and added a simple blue Zara clutch. My look can turn into a more casual one in a blink of an eye just adding a pair of white sneakers instead of the heels and tossing my clutch into a larger tote bag !.

Modern Vintage Outfit

Hi everyone ! Fashion is fun, and I have fun the most when I can mix styles and feel my look as truly "mine". Well, today I am here to show you a girly attire featuring a few statement pieces: my Yumi red eyeglasses print sundress, so cute, and my brand new leather shopping bag from Nava Design, my way to blend vintage and modern style in the same outfit.

I couldn't help buying this dress as soon as I saw it in a shop...a cat-eye obsessed like me had to get it ! I just changed the original faux leather belt to a pink and blue Miu Miu belt I had in my closet, and wore my latest pair of Dsquared2 sunglasses that you already saw on my Instagram stream.

Ciao a tutti ! La moda è divertimento, e io mi diverto maggiormente quando posso mescolare stili creando qualcosa che sento davvero mio. Oggi vi voglio mostrare un look molto girly, con dei pezzi particolari, a cominciare dal mio abitino rosso Yumi con stampa di occhiali, molto carino, e la mia nuovissima borsa shopping in pelle Nava Design, un modo di fondere lo stile vintage con il moderno nello stesso outfit.

Non ho potuto evitare di comprare questo vestitino non appena l'ho notato in un negozio...una ossessionata dagli occhiali cat-eye come me non poteva non comprarlo ! Ho solo sostituito la cintura originale in ecopelle con una in stoffa rosa e blu Miu Miu che avevo già, e indossato i miei nuovi occhiali da sole Dsquared2 che avevo già mostrato su Instagram.

Cute cocktail dress

This outfit is the last one from my holidays serie and it's based on a very cute Yumi cocktail dress with a print featuring tucanos and drinks, a romantic 50s inspired party dress I decided to wear for daytime and therefore I styled with colorful accessories !. A drinks print makes this dress THE real cocktail dress ! ;).

Questo outfit è l'ultimo tra quelli delle vacanze, è incentrato su un abito da cocktail molto carino, di Yumi, con una stampa raffigurante tucani e drinks, un abito da party romantico stile anni '50 che ho deciso di indossare per il pomeriggio e che, per questo, ho abbinato ad accessori colorati !. Una stampa con i drinks fanno di questo abito IL vero abito da cocktail ! ;).

Young Hearts Run Free

Hello everybody ! One of the trends I am loving for this summer is the 70s style trend...large and long dresses, floral prints, very high heels and platforms...so here it is an outfit I sported during mid holidays in this month :). I must confess that I also had a personal soundtrack my Ipod, it's filled up with music from the 70s, I absolutely love it !.
In these pics I was wearing a new pair of sunnies from Chanel when I was in Sorrento, and the new necklace with big "Return to Tiffany" serie I bought in New York at the Tiffany store :) I like it cause the necklace is very long so I can also wrap it twice around my neck ;).
I am sure I am gonna follow the 70s trend also for Fall and Winter...I can already imagine long velvet skirts, flower prints with copper and green tones, fake fur, bell bottoms...I love Autumn and I am very excited for all the new things it brings up ! Actually - to me, the fresh start for many things has always been the Fall, instead of New Year !. What about you, are you sad for the forthcoming end of Summer or are you - like me - excited about the new arrivals in the shops and the new things you can start doing in the Fall season ?. One thing I am sure of is I'm going back to the gym...I cannot work out when it's summer and it's as hot as it is now but I sure feel better when I can work out at least twice or three times a week !.

Una delle tendenze che sto amando per questa estate è quella anni '70...larghi e lunghi abiti, stampe floreali, tacchi altissimi e plateau...ed ecco un outfit che risale alle mie vacanze di metà agosto :). Devo confessare che avevo anche una colonna sonora personale sul mio Ipod, è pieno di musica anni '70, la adoro !.
In queste foto indosso i miei nuovi occhiali da sole di Chanel comprati a Sorrento e la mia nuova collana con grande cuore della serie "Return to Tiffany" che ho comprato a New York nel Tiffany store :), mi piace in quanto molto lunga, posso utilizzarla in due modi, anche facendo un doppio giro intorno al collo ;).
Sono certa che seguirò questo trend anni '70 anche in Autunno ed Inverno...Posso già immaginare lunghe gonne di velluto, stampe floreali nei toni del rame e del verde, pellicce finte, pantaloni a zampa...Amo l'Autunno e sono molto ansiosa circa le novità che porterà ! Per me, un nuovo inizio per molte cose è stato sempre collegato all'Autunno, anziché all'Anno Nuovo ! Che mi dite di voi, siete tristi per la prossima fine dell'estate o siete - come me - eccitati per i nuovi arrivi nei negozi e tutte le nuove cose che potete iniziare a fare in Autunno ?. Una delle cose di cui sono sicura è che tornerò in palestra...non riesco ad allenarmi in estate e quando fa caldo come ora ma di sicuro mi sento meglio quando posso allenarmi almeno due o tre volte alla settimana !.
