After neglecting my fashion blog for quite some time (blame it on my Instagram profile and lack of time) I am back and my first post of 2023 is with my favorite style: western style with a unique touch! The Return of the Space Cowgirl collection from London designer Hayley Menzies is so special! I couldn't help wanting everything, but had to pick a few pieces - it is a luxury collection after all - and I went for Annie Merino waist coat and skirt, in 100% merino wool, two amazing pieces that I plan to wear for a very long time. Because I am building my dream closet.

Sono tornata in sella! Dopo aver trascurato il mio fashion blog per diverso tempo (la colpa è sia del mio profilo Instagram che della mancanza di tempo) sono tornata e il mio primo post del 2023 è con il mio stile preferito: stile western con un tocco davvero unico! La collezione Return of the Space Cowgirl della designer londinese Hayley Menzies è davvero speciale, infatti! Non riuscivo a non volere tutto ma ho dovuto limitarmi a qualcosa - è una collezione di livello luxury, dopotutto - e ho scelto il gilet e la gonna Annie in 100% lana merino, due capi favolosi che prevedo di indossare per molto tempo sia insieme che separati. Perché fanno parte del mio processo di costruzione del guardaroba dei miei sogni.

I was supposed to post this much earlier, but I took a hiatus from blogging, concentrating only on my Instagram profile. I wanted to put the spotlight on a brand: Washington Dee-Cee. Established in Nashville in 1922, Washington-Dee-Cee offered for more than 50 years comfortable & durable ranchwear denim for cowboys and farmers. Now the cult brand is back, relaunched with a Made in Italy heart and a #westernstyle fan and fashion hunter like me couldn't be happier! I got this wonderful shearling jacket with western details and I love it, it was love at first sight. Seeing it and buying it has been really quick!.

Avevo programmato di postare molto prima, ma ho preso una lunga pausa dal blogging a causa di altri progetti e mi sono concentrata solo sul profilo Instagram. Volevo parlarvi - del resto lo ha fatto anche Vogue - di Washington Dee-Cee, un brand su cui vale la pena accendere i riflettori. Nato a Nashville nel lontano 1922, per più di 50 anni Washington Dee-Cee ha offerto capi in denim comodi e durevoli di ranchwear, destinati al lavoro di cowboy e contadini. Ora il brand culto è tornato, riesumato e rilanciato in chiave Made in Italy e una amante dello stile western e cacciatrice di capi particolari come me non poteva che esserne entusiasta! Lo so, ho trascurato il blog! What to wear with boots when it's hot? No matter the season, it is always boot weather for a western style lover like me, and there is nothing like a short dress like this one from Femmeluxe to make me feel feminine and at ease. It is such a cute polka dot dress! Of course, another great choice would have been denim shorts. Sono orgogliosa di presentarvi una idea geniale: gli stivali da pioggia stile western! The maxi cardigan trend is still up and running for Spring and for transitional outfits. I couldn't decide between a beige one and a black one, both found on Femmeluxe, so I got them both and I am so happy I did! A maxi cardigan like these ones is so versatile and can be worn with many different looks. I wore the stone knitted cardigan with a black bodycon dress and the result was very stylish and sexy. Also, I couldn't help wearing one of my western style outfits and I found out the black Femmeluxe long cardigan looked amazing also on it!

Il trend del maxi cardigan è ancora molto "in" per la primavera e per gli outfit di transizione. Non riuscivo a decidermi tra quello beige e quello nero, entrambi trovati su Femmeluxe, così ho preso entrambi e sono felice di averlo fatto! Well, how to look different wearing things also other people wear? I think the most important thing is to refrain from imitation...we see so many poor copies of other things. The best way is to be yourself, to wear what you really like and want to wear instead of wanting to look like someone else. I have always liked the contamination of different styles, and being a fan of western style makes me wear western inspired clothes together with other styles, the possibilities are really so many, like with this urban western look! I am still having fun with fashion and I have also found some cool pieces that I can wear both inside and outside, on Femmeluxe website, a shop I had already told you about last summer. I have fallen in love with these high waisted check joggers, and decided to wear them with denim, for a super cool comfy look. An ethnic print cardigan and my new Ariat boots are both great for a cozy and comfy western style outfit. I was excited to try the famous Ariat boots; Ariat is a very popular brand in the USA, it has a long history of producing some of the most technologically innovative footwear for internationally known equestrian athletes. This is the first pair I own and I went for this Heritage Elastic calf western boot. I wanted something both simple and wearable and for a change I didn't go for a snip toe, these boots have a sligthly oval toe. The western stitching in a rust color is adorable and the leather is very supple and smooth. Comfy, sturdy, so far I am loving my first pair...and I know it won't be the last!. I have slim calves but these ones have elastic panels so that they can adapt even to bigger calves, so if you have problems these ones are also for you! So comfy and easy to pull in.

Un cardigan a stampa etnica e i miei nuovi stivali Ariat sono entrambi perfetti per un outfit western e comodo. Non vedevo l'ora di provare i famosi stivali Ariat; Ariat è un brand molto popolare negli USA, ha una lunga storia nel produrre calzature tecnologicamente avanzate anche per gli sport equestri. Questo è il mio primo paio e ho scelto questo stivale Heritage Elastic calf western boot. Volevo qualcosa che fosse sia semplice e portabile e per cambiare non ho scelto uno stivale a punta, questi hanno una punta ovale. Il ricamo western in color ruggine è adorabile e la pelle è molto morbida e liscia. Sono comodi, solidi, li sto amando...e so già che non saranno il mio unico paio!. Io ho polpacci snelli ma se avete problemi con gli stivali, questi sono in pelle elastica quindi si adattano anche a chi ha polpacci più importanti. Ve li consiglio! Comodi e facili da indossare.

How to style a denim dress for Fall? As a western style blogger, it has been easy for me to wear my denim dress with a new pair of cowgirl boots from Old Gringo. I am loving these Chatham boots, with their turquoise western style stitching over a brown chocolate leather they are easy to match to basically anything! With this warm weather I was able to wear them on naked legs (of course, boot socks inside). An easy and stylish feminine look for daytime, with the add of my Gucci Ophidia hobo bag.

Come abbinare un abito in denim per l'autunno? Da blogger western style quale sono, è stato facile per  me indossare questo abito in denim con un nuovo paio di stivali da cowgirl di Old Gringo. Adoro questi stivali Chatham, con il loro ricamo turchese in stile western su pelle color cioccolato sono facilissimi da abbinare a qualsiasi cosa! Con questo tempo ancora caldo ho potuto indossarli su gambe nude (ovviamente, all'intero degli stivali porto i calzini appositi). Un look facile e femminile per il giorno, con l'aggiunta della mia hobo bag Ophidia di Gucci.

Fall Favorites with Lane Boots

Among my Fall Favorites, there are no doubt my new Lane Boots booties. The air is getting fresh and the leaves are falling, so there is nothing better than a new pair of boots to style a Fall outfit. My black Saratoga Stud booties came directly from Texas and I was so happy with them! After a few taller boots, I felt it was time to get myself a pair of booties, and these ones, with their beautiful western stitching and small studs, give me both a cowgirl and a rock attitude. Skinny jeans but also mini skirts, long skirts, leggings and even under office pants: you can wear them with anything!

I miei preferiti autunnali con Lane Boots

Tra i miei preferiti di autunno, ci sono senza dubbio i miei nuovi stivaletti Lane Boots. L'aria si sta rinfrescando e le foglie cadono, quindi non c'è niente di meglio che un nuovo paio di stivali per creare un outfit autunnale. I miei stivaletti Saratoga Stud sono arrivati direttamente dal Texas e ne sono super felice! Dopo qualche stivale alto, ho pensato fosse il momento di andare sullo stivaletto più basso e questi sono un vero capolavoro fatto di impunture western e borchiette, hanno insieme un mood da cowgirl e rock. Jeans skinny ma anche minigonne, maxi gonne, leggings e persino sotto ai pantaloni per l'ufficio: potete abbinarli con qualsiasi cosa!

Let's go back to country style with a lovely jacquard suit featuring a super versatile horse jacket and a pair of shorts that I have still been able to wear with naked legs, thanks to the warm weather. I fell in love wih this suit at first sight and moreover this is the year of the western, tribal and country cardigan and jackets. I will be wearing the jacket with jeans, skirts and other pieces of my closet but for a change it was nice to wear matching shorts. I kept it horse themed with this cute horseshoe print shirt and added studded cowgirl boots, as well as my Lack of Color boater hat.

Torniamo allo stile country con un adorabile completo jacquard composto da una super versatile giacchina con cavalli e un paio di shorts che ho potuto ancora indossare con gambe nude, grazie al clima mite. Mi sono innamorata di questo completo a prima vista e ancor più dato che questo sarà l'anno dei cardigan e delle giacche western, tribali e country. Indosserò questa giacca con jeans, gonne e altri capi del mio guardaroba ma per cambiare è carino avere anche gli shorts abbinati. Ho mantenuto il tema cavalli con una carinissima camicia con stampe ferri di cavallo e ho aggiunto stivali da cowgirl borchiati, oltre al mio cappello boater di Lack of Color.

A rockstar attitude and western style go often together, and more than ever with this beautiful Celestial Boater from australian brand Lack of Color. I fell totally in love with this black boater hat with golden conchos, it's perfect for my rockstar style outfits, for my western style ones but it's gonna look great also on a simple black coat this winter. In this cowgirl look, I styled it on a white top, ripped Levi's 501 as shorts and a pair of fun, eyecatching cowgirl boots.

Mi sono completamente innamorata di questo cappello da barcaiolo nero con applicazioni dorate, è perfetto per i miei outfit da rockstar, per quelli più western ma starà benissimo anche su un semplice cappotto nero questo inverno. In questo look da cowgirl, l'ho abbinato a top bianco, pantaloncini creati da Levi's 501 e un paio di simpaticamente vistosi stivali da cowgirl.

Lane Boots Charmer: the latest addition to my boots collection, is stunning, directly from USA to Europe. Leather and suede, gorgeous details, a snake at each of my feet and also embroidered roses. These boots were made for staring, for dancing, for walking and basically for western style but also for normal outfits. For their first walk, I went for a short dress with jacquard pattern, but these gorgeous western black boots would look good on basically anything, from jeans to shorts to a more classic dress. Lane Boots Charmer: gli ultimi arrivati nella mia collezione di scarpe, davvero meravigliosi, direttamente dagli USA all'Europa. In pelle e camoscio, dettagli stupendi, un serpente su ogni stivale e rose ricamate. Stivali fatti per essere ammirati, per ballare, per camminare e adatti sia ad outfit western che normali. Per la loro prima uscita, ho scelto un abitino corto con stampa jacquard, ma questi bellissimi stivali texani neri starebbero bene davvero su tutto, dai jeans agli short fino ad un abito più classico. Questa è stata la mia prima esperienza con Lane ma non sarà sicuramente l'ultima...ho già messo gli occhi su altre paia!
