I can't have enough of check prints this year, so here I am, yet another plaid suit with an unusual combo of colors. Not the easiest print to wear, but so much fun and very 70s style! I matched my burgundy sweater with AGL shoes and a Malloni pouch from last year. This is the kind of look that is suitable for office but also for a party or simply for going out with friends.

Non la stampa più facile da indossare, ma super divertente e molto 70s style! Ho abbinato un maglione bordeaux con le scarpe AGL e una borsina Malloni dello scorso anno. Vi ricordo che da questo blog avrete spunti per i vostri outfit partendo dal mio guardaroba che è composto da capi acquistati da me, quindi vi capiterà di vederli ancora. Questo tipo di look è adatto sia per la vita di ufficio che per altre occasioni, dalla festa a una semplice uscita con amici.

It's Valentine's day and I couldn't help posting my look with heart shaped sunglasses. I do believe we gotta celebrate love everyday but I have nothing against this celebration, maybe I like it especially because my name is Valentina! Here's my look for Valentine's day, with my new Valentino VRING bag in the iconic red color of the maison. I have been in love with these bags as soon as they came out. I love the golden monogram hardware and the compartmentalized interior. The size of this bag ia also perfect: not too big nor too small and suitable both for more formal looks and for fun ones. The top handle is quite long and it's different from the usual bags. I sported it with a star print dress from Maje and a long Malloni wool cardigan.

E' San Valentino e non potevo non postare un look con occhiali a forma di cuore! Credo sicuramente che occorra celebrare l'amore ogni giorno ma non ho niente contro questa festa, forse ancor più dato che mi chiamo Valentina! Ecco il mio look per il giorno di San Valentino, con la mia nuova borsa Valentino VRING nell'iconico rosso della maison. Mi sono innamorata di queste borse non appena uscite. Adoro l'hardware oro col maxi logo e l'interno a scomparti, inoltre la grandezza di questa borsa è davvero perfetta: non grande ma neanche piccola, adatta sia a look formali che ad outfit più particolari. Il lungo manico la rende diversa dalle solite borse. L'ho abbinata a un abito con stampa stelle di Maje ed a un lungo cardigan in lana Malloni.

This maxi brown belted coat was one of my last Winter clothing purchases and I have been wearing it very often as a transitional piece. So, before starting to post Spring clothes I have thought about showing you this layered outfit, perfect for this time of the year, when some days are still cold and fresh. This look, in earth colors, features also a leopard print suit composed of large cropped pants and a top. A small burgundy pouch from Malloni and a brim hat added a stylish touch.

A chic outfit idea also for Christmas holidays is a velvet burgundy suit, one of the most elegant choices. My velvet suit is from french brand 1.2.3 Paris and it combines comfort with a french chic allure. It is composed of a shawl collar jacket with pockets and one button and a straight cut trousers with elastic waistband.  A simple yet very sophisticated combo in a light velour that contains also silk and it's a high quality fabric, iridescent and soft to the touch. I wore it with a leopard print shirt for a trendy daytime touch and a pair of burgundy ankle boots with perspex heel from Malloni, in soft leather.

Una idea outfit chic anche per le vacanze natalizie è un tailleur in velluto bordeaux, una delle scelte più eleganti. Il mio completo in velluto è del brand francese 1.2.3 Paris e unisce comodità alla tipica allure chic francese. E' composto da una giacca con collo sciallato, tasche e un bottone e pantaloni dal taglio dritto con elastico in vita. Una combinazione semplice ma molto sofisticata in velour leggero che contiene anche seta ed è cangiante e morbidissimo al tatto. L'ho abbinato a una camicia a stampa leopardata per aggiungere un tocco trendy da giorno e un paio di stivaletti bordeax dal tacco in plexiglass di Malloni, in morbida pelle.

My tips are easy and simple: pick a cozy dress, a knitted dress like my checked piece, and pair it with boots, better if they are knee-high. It's time to sport your faux fur jacket: this olive green one was bought on sale for a ridicolous price, but it's soft and oversized. Style your dress with a gorgeous waist belt - invest in one if you haven't already. Try wearing a rather small bag with a big faux fur, it looks better.

Una idea outfit con abito invernale, con un abito in maglia a quadri di Metisu. Cosa indossare quando fuori fa freddo ma avete voglia di indossare un abito? I miei consigli sono facili e semplici: scegliete un abito bello caldo, con lana come questo capo a quadri, e abbinatelo agli stivali, meglio se almeno al ginocchio. E' giunto il momento di sfoggiare il vostro pellicciotto: questo, in verde oliva, l'ho trovato in saldo ad un prezzo molto conveniente, è morbido e oversize. Indossate il vostro abito con una bella cintura in vita - investite in una se non l'avete già. Cercate di portare una borsa abbastanza piccola con un pellicciotto ingombrante, ci sta decisamente meglio.

How to style a kimono top?. Rocking a kimono is a very popular choice of style: kimonos are feminine, elegant, often come in precious fabrics like silk. A kimono is often tied at the waist, and it's flattering to many of us. I personally love them, and this is my outfit idea - very easy and simple to copy - with a silk floral kimono top. I wore it with skinny jeans with asian style patches, and wore a beautiful pair of sandals from Le Silla, with floral decorations all over them, heels included.

How to style wedge espadrilles? Forget the idea that espadrilles are only meant to be worn with casual outfits. I have decided to wear my Lloret wedge espadrilles from brand Viscata in total black outfit, perfect for a sunset drink on the beach but also for a walk in the city. A cotton and lace black off the shoulder dress was my choice, together with a leather Malloni bag. My Viscatas are handcrafted in Barcelona, Spain, and are super comfortable. I went for a slingback design, that is also my favorite design for heels, but there are so many other espadrillas on Viscata website, and they fit true to size. I love the shape of these espadrillas because of the pointed toe, not too usual.

Ho scelto un modello slingback aperto sul retro, che è anche il mio preferito per le scarpe con tacco, ma ci sono tanti altri tipi di espadrillas sul sito Viscata, e calzano il numero regolare. Adoro la forma di queste espadrillas perché più a punta di quelle usuali.

What to wear to a summer wedding? This first august outfit post is featuring a wedding attire I sported last week for the wedding of my good friends. The weather was extremely hot and this light maxi dress in pure silk was perfect to keep it both fresh and elegant. I chose a metallic sheen both with the jacquard fabric of this dress and with my accessories: golden cage sandals from Giovanni Fabiani and a lovely metallic clutch from Malloni.

This lovely sleeveless a-line jacquard dress has the perfect length, shape and fabric and I couldn't help wanting it for me. I added my rose gold clutch from Malloni, new Giancarlo Paoli statement sandals and a special necklace.
