Blooming roses dress

I am so happy this working week has finally come to an end ! As I already told you, working when it's summer should be illegal...Let's enjoy the weekend, then ! It's time to show you a new outfit, with a colorful blooming red roses dress bought on Chicwish. I love it so much, it's very 50s style and features a wonderful mix of red and purple, two colors that I absolutely love together !.

I matched this puffy, attention stealer floral dress, with my wonderful Sergio Levantesi t-bar shoes and with a Kenzo mini bag that has the same vibrant mix of colors, for a glam effect !.

Sono troppo felice che questa settimana lavorativa sia giunta al termine ! Come vi ho già detto, lavorare in estate dovrebbe essere fuori legge...per questo occorre godersi il weekend ! E' giunto il momento di mostrarvi un nuovo outfit, con un abito coloratissimo ricco di rose in fiore, di Chicwish.

Lo adoro, è in perfetto stile anni '50 con un mix meraviglioso di rosso e viola, due colori che amo ancora di più quando sono insieme !.

Ho abbinato questo abito floreale dalla gonna vaporosa, che attira senz'altro gli sguardi, ad un meraviglioso paio di scarpe Sergio Levantesi e ad una borsina targata Kenzo che ha lo stesso mix vivace di colori, per un effetto molto glam !.

Opposites attract: lace skirt, leather jacket

If you haven't done it yet, I suggest you go and grab yourself a lace skirt !. Lace skirts are trendy and also can be easily dressed up or down according to what else you are wearing. I personally love them with leather or with denim jackets. The look I want to show you today is featuring a lace skirt I bought a while ago on Asos, worn with a green leather biker jacket: a mixture of romantic and edgy details, just as I like it...because opposites attract, after all !. 

Se non lo avete già fatto, vi suggerisco di accaparrarvi una gonna in pizzo !. Le gonne in pizzo non sono solo di moda, ma sono un capo che si può facilmente indossare sia in look più eleganti o sdrammatizzare per look più casual, dipende da come vengono abbinate. Personalmente, adoro accostarle a giacche in pelle o in jeans. Il look che vi mostro oggi prevede proprio una gonna in pizzo comprata tempo addietro su Asos, abbinata ad una giacca biker in pelle verde: un misto di dettagli romantici e più strong, come piace a me, perché gli opposti si attraggono, dopotutto !. 

Peplum hem skirt, fuchsia pumps

I am the kind of person who can't wait to wear new things, especially when she likes them so much, and in this time of the year I start feeling impatient...new things enter in my closet, and I cannot wear them straight away because it's still kind of cold, so I know t-shirts and tank tops will have to wait for better times. 

Luckily, there still are new entries I can wear, just like these new fuchsia pumps from Cesare Paciotti: I loved them at first sight, and here they are, a touch of color in a pretty black and white outfit featuring a peplum hem mini skirt !.

Sono il tipo di persona che non riesce ad aspettare quando compra nuove cose, specialmente se le piacciono molto, le deve indossare subito, pertanto questo periodo dell'anno è un po' una tortura...nuovi capi entrano nel mio guardaroba, ma la maggior parte delle volte sono troppo leggeri per essere sfoggiati immediatamente.

Fortunatamente, ci sono nuovi acquisti che possono essere incorporati subito in outfit ancora invernali, proprio come queste pumps fucsia Cesare Paciotti: le ho amate subito, a prima vista, ed eccole, un tocco di colore primaverile in un outfit prettamente nero e bianco con una minigonna con bordo arricciato !.

Leopard faux fur coat

I am officially obsessed with faux fur jackets and coats, and as a lover of animalier prints, I couldn't resist buying a leopard faux fur coat. I found the perfect one at Zara: it's sort of egg shape, it's long but not too much, and the faux fur is very soft and warm ; I definately think it can be styled in many ways. Since a leopard print can look quite aggressive, I thought about balancing the whole outfit with a pastel pink sweater and slightly ripped jeans.

Sono letteralmente ossessionata dai pellicciotti, e come amante delle stampe animalier era solo questione di tempo prima che ne comprassi anche uno leopardato. Ho trovato quello perfetto da Zara: ha la forma leggermente a uovo, è lungo ma non troppo e la pelliccia è molto morbida e calda; lo trovo facile da abbinare in modi diversi. Dato che questo tipo di fantasia leopardata può risultare leggermente aggressiva, ho pensato di bilanciare il tutto con un maglioncino rosa pastello e jeans leggermente strappati.

Merry Christmas !

Merry Christmas to all of you, my lovely readers ! I wish you all the best, a Christmas of joy and love. As most of you, I will be spending this day with my family, eating a lot, relaxing, playing and watching Christmas movies.

My look for the day is easy, a themed sweatshirt, jeans and a bling bling statement necklace.

Also, as you can see below, since I am a huge sunglasses lover, I found out a special pair to wear on Christmas, LOL !. I had to reassure my husband that I wouldn't be wearing them outside of home ;)

Buon Natale a tutti voi, adorabili lettori di questo blog ! Vi auguro ogni bene, un Natale di gioia e amore. Come la maggior parte di voi, trascorrerò questa giornata in famiglia, mangiando più di quanto dovrei, giocando e guardando film natalizi.

Il mio look del giorno è comodo, una felpa a tema natalizio, un jeans ed una collana vistosa e luccicosa.

Inoltre, come potete vedere nella foto sotto, dato che sono una grande appassionata di occhiali da sole, ne ho trovato un paio adatto al Natale, LOL !. Ho dovuto rassicurare mio marito sul fatto che non li avrei indossati fuori casa ;)

Like an impressionist painting

Today's outfit is, like most of my looks, very colorful, and is featuring a floral short dress that made me think about an impressionist painting as soon as I saw it. I thought this lovely dress that is elegant, modern and eye catching, would be the perfect match for my new jewelry pieces, a wonderful statement necklace and bracelet from Mercantia, an italian brand producing beautiful and high quality jewelry. Flowers on the dress and on my necklace, a mixture of colors that is really appropriate to brighten a dull Fall day !.

L'outfit di oggi è, come la maggior parte dei miei look, molto colorato, basato su un abitino corto a fiori che mi ha fatta pensare ad un quadro impressionista non appena l'ho visto. Ho pensato che questo adorabile vestito, elegante, moderno e molto particolare, fosse un abbinamento perfetto per le mie due new entries in fatto di gioielli, una meravigliosa accoppiata collana e bracciale di Mercantia, un brand di accessori italiano che produce gioielli molto belli e di alta qualità. Fiori sull'abito e sulla mia collana, in un mix di colori adatto a per rischiarare una grigia giornata autunnale !.
